Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 are to be kept in a 90 x 90 meter room. SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 are allowed 4 mind stimulating objects a day.
When escorted to the testing grounds, both instances of SCP-XXXX must have arms bound until when inside the confines of the testing grounds.
If either instance SCP-XXXX resume animation, on-site personnel must take note and log the event. Personnel must also attempt to perform a soft interview to prevent SCP-XXXX from ceasing movement again.
Description: SCP-XXXX are a pair of mannequins made of a beige hard plastic with metal joints connecting their appendages. They contain vague facial features, notably a nose, indent for eyes, and a slightly defined chin.
Each SCP-XXXX has a differing body type, with SCP-XXXX-1 appearing more masculine with broad shoulders and slightly taller height while SCP-XXXX-2 appears more feminine with wider hips and defined breasts.
X-ray shows that the insides of SCP-XXXX are completely null of any organs or mechanisms that would allow for free motion. This is true for all but the head where a small metallic item was shown in the x-ray, measuring just around 3 x 3 cm.
The pair appear to hold sentience. They are able to move by themselves, however the movement is only performed with the visible joints as the plastic material remains solid throughout. The joints include the following: neck, waist, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hip, knee, and ankle. Their hands are completely solid with the fingers weld together, the hand itself is in a claw-like shape with the thumb slightly above the palm. As such, testing proves they are only able to perform major motor functions.
Testing shows that they are unable to write, change book pages, or even solve a Rubik's cube due to their limited movement.
Neither SCP-XXXX-1 or SCP-XXXX-2 show any signs of rest or ability to sleep, but can cease animation at will for long periods of time, not in any correlation with human sleep patterns.
