Special Containment Procedure: SCP-4065 is to be kept in a dimly lit room that is 10x10x10 feet in diameter, behind two locked, steel doors. The room is to be kept at 72° Fahrenheit, and has to be kept air tight at all times. The ground under SCP-4065 must be fertile soil. Do to the nature of SCP-4065, soil fertilizer must be added to the soil every twenty-four hours using a D-Class personal wearing a biohazard suit. SCP-4065 must be watered with exactly five fluid ounces of water at 10am everyday. SCP-4065 must be monitored at all times using both a normal surveillance camera, and an infrared camera.

Description: SCP-4065 is a plant of unknown origins. It was found in [DATA EXPUNGED]. SCP-4065’s center is a circular pod which is usually six inches in radius, but certain times during the day it can grow to twelve inches in radius for an average of thirty minutes before going back to normal size. The pattern is inconsistent and happens for currently unknown explanations. SCP-4065’s pod seems to be indestructible as of [DATA EXPUNGED]. When soil is failed to be fertilized, the pod will triple in size, it is unknown what affects it can have being bigger.

SCP-4065 has eight leaves branching out from the center in all directions. The leaves range from three feet to five feet long and six to ten inches in width. The color of the leaves is a light green that appears to glow. If SCP-4065’s leaves are cut they will almost immediately began to regenerate.

SCP-4065 only has one root, which is a strait downward spiked shaped substance which is extremely sticky to all organic materials. The substance that sticks SCP-4065 to the ground is unknown.

SCP-4065 releases airborne microscopic bacteria (refereed to as SCP-4065-1) that when made in contact with any living creature causes [DATA EXPUNGED], paranoia, heavy hallucinations, extreme psychosis, and aggression. The degree of the affects varies on the amount of SCP-4065-1 that makes contact with the living creature. SCP-4065-1 does break down and decomposes an hour after release but the affects on living creatures seem to last forever.

Infrared cameras detect release of SCP-4065-1 and quickly engage the D-Class personal. Within seconds of contact the D-Class personal [DATA EXPUNGED] and begins to scream stuff like [DATA EXPUNGED].

After one minute and thirty seconds the D-Class personal begins to start slamming on the walls saying he will [DATA EXPUNGED].

The D-Class was kept in the room for six hours still acting aggressively with no changed behavior. A Special Containment Team was sent in to retrieve the D-Class personal. The D-Class Personal was chemically washed to remove all of SCP-4065-1 and brought to the medical bay. He continued to [DATA EXPUNGED]. Tranquilizers were ineffective in putting the D-Class Personal to sleep and the D-Class personal eventually died to do sleep deprivation.

Infrared cameras detect SCP-4065-1 be released and make contact with the two D-Class personal.

At exactly four minutes after contact with SCP-4065-1 the two D-Class look at each other and begin to fight aggressively. They claw at each other and [DATA EXPUNGED] until the two of them are both dead from fatal body wounds.

(A D-Class personal was asked to enter the room containing SCP-4065 while the pod was grown, and asked to attempt to touch the pod)

The D-Class personal managed to touch the pod before SCP-4065-1’s affects started to happen. The D-Class personal’s behavior acted like it would when made in contact with SCP-4065-1, but the skin around where the D-Class personal made physical contact with the pod had a glowing green substance oozing out of his finger.

After several minutes of aggressive behavior, the green substance began to spread through his arm causing [DATA EXPUNGED] and rotting of the flesh. After several minutes the D-Class personal was declared dead and his body fully decomposed into the soil.

Final Notes: No further testing is to be done at this time until we do more research into what the bacteria in SCP-4065-1 is and begin to understand the nature of how SCP-4065 works. SCP-4065 will remain Euclid class unless further studies show a larger threat. End Log.
