Per the greenlighting policy, first-time authors must get concepts reviewed in the Ideas Critique Forum or IRC chatrooms before creating a feedback thread in the Drafts and Critique forum. Draft critique can still be sought via IRC and PM without greenlights.

When you have a draft that you know for sure the audience will like, bring it to Drafts Critique Forum. Please note that the forums move much slower than the chat, and the draft forum moves slower than the ideas forum!

The mainsite-run IRC chatrooms are the most reliable source of real-time critique discussion.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a lead containment cell of average size. It does not require nutrition, but rather feeds on negative human emotion including sadness, apathy, fear, and grief, among others.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a shadowy humanoid measuring at approximately 2.13 meters tall. It holds a lantern (designated SCP-XXXX-1) made of an unknown black metal with a deep red flame inside. For an unknown reason, flame of SCP-XXXX-1 is unable to be put out.
