Special Containment Procedures
SCB-3541 is to be placed on a steel table inside 3x3x3 meter cell, the floor of the cell must be observed constantly by atleast 2 cameras for instances of SCB-3541-1.
Any assault rifle's or conversions must never be brought within 300 meters of SCB-3541 and all personnel at Site ████ must be equipped with PDW's, Battlerifles, SMG's or pistols.
all Instances of SCB-3541-1 must be destroyed immediately after being ejected from SCB-3541 and all instances of SCB-3541-2 must never be fired and must be confiscated into locker 47F.
After Incident 3541-01A, SCB-3541's containment cell walls must be lined with 20mm thick Rolled homogenous armor with a single 50mm thick plexiglass bulletproof observation window.
At this time, further testing of SCB-3541 requires the permission of level 3 clearance or higher.
Description
SCB-3541 is a standard United States Carbine, Caliber .30, M2 PDW Assault rifle with the serial number 6,021,███ engraved on the receiver suggesting it was Manufactured in 1945.
SCB-3541's Functionality is almost identical to that of a Standard M2 Carbine sharing it's exact materials, weight, ammo compacity and ballistical damage, However, testing has revealed that SCB-3541 is impeccably accurate up to 300 meters, scoring atleast 50% of hits on a man-sized target if the barrel is pointing within atleast 10 degree arc of the target regardless how inept the shooter or conditions warping through the air to hit the target that the Shooter is trying to aim at, beyond 300 meters, however, SCB-3541's accuracy is no better than a standard M2 Carbine.
If an assault rifle is brought within 300 meters of SCB-3541, within the next 24 hours SCB-3541 will eject SCB-3541-1. SCB-3541-1 is a standard live ".30 carbine" FMJ round with no abnormal weight, materials or dimensions. SCB-3541-1 will, over the course of 13 days, develope into another instance of SCB-3541.
Once SCB-3541 has ejected an instance of SCB-3541-1 the Assault rifle that triggered it is now referred to as SCB-3541-2. If SCB-3541-2 is fired, the gun will have an extremely high chance of malfunctioning up to and including magazine detonation through unknown means potentially killing the operator and destroying the weapon, the lethality of this detonation varies and is not tied to the actual destructive power of the size or amount of ammunition in SCB-3541-2.
2 instances of SCB-3541 were recovered in 1994 on the floor of a house in Lousiana when 85-year-old WW2 Medal of Honor recipient █████ ████ who previously owned SCB-3541 was found dead in his backyard shooting range with a destroyed AR-15 in his hands he bought earlier that day.
One of the instances was destroyed while the other was stored at containment site ████
Incident 3541-01A
At 1230 hours, Logistics Officer ██████ at Site ████ was in the cafeteria eating his lunch while having a conversation with Dr ██████ approximately 20 meters from SCB-3541 which was currently been transported down a hallway to the gun range for testing.
Logistics Officier ██████: that thing is a pain in my ass.
Dr ██████: what is?
Logistics Officier ██████: that gun, I've had to confiscate all FN Scar L's off Guard personal and Mobile Task Force units and rearm them with all with FN p90's and Scar H's across the whole site just because it apparently it hates assault rifles
Dr ██████: why is it a concern, most forces use the FN p90 anyway right?
Logistics Officier ██████: yes but the FN Scar L's still served a critical role in our forces Offensive capability, the FN p90 doesn't have the range or power and the FN Scar H doesn't have the followup shot capability to fully compensate for it, and because I'm the Logistics officer I am the one who has to get rid of them all and make sure that none ever get delivered to the site and are responsible if they do.
Logistics Officier ██████: I mean why does it care so much, it's not like it's trying to be the Best or only assault rifle there is, because it's not even an assault rifle anyway, it's a PD….

Addendum 3541 A: testing SCB-3541-2 Assault rifle types at site ████ shooting range

Shooter: D-13244
Results: upon the first shot the gun had a failure to feed, once the round was ejected SCB-3541-2 managed to fire another 13 live rounds before magazine detonation, the Explosion was powerful enough to sever D-13244's right hand but not enough to kill him, D-13244 was terminated after testing.
Addendum 3541 B: testing SCB-3541-2 Assault rifle types at site ████ shooting range
Weapon: M16
Shooter: D-15812
Results: fired 7 rounds before a failure to extract on the 8th, fired another 4 rounds before magazine self-ejected, fired another 2 rounds before magazine detonation, the explosion came out the receiver and severely damaged D-15812's face with shrapnel leaving her blind in 1 eye and with brain damage to the frontal lobe, D-15812 was terminated after testing.
Addendum 3541 C: testing SCB-3541-2 Assault rifle types at site ████ shooting range
Weapon: Ruger mini-14
Shooter: D-12178
Results: cleared 30 round magazine with 3 failure to feed malfunctions, proceeded to go through another 10 magazines with the same results, F-12178 was returned to his containment cell after testing.
Addendum 3541 D: testing SCB-3541-2 Assault rifle types at site ████ shooting range
Weapon: M2 Carbine
Shooter: D-14253
Results: cleared 30 round magazine flawlessly with no malfunctions, proceeded to go through another 10 magazines with the same results, D-14253 was returned to his containment cell after testing.
Addendum 3541 E: testing SCB-3541-2 Assault rifle types at site ████ shooting range

Shooter: D-17893
Results: cleared 3 rounds before the magazine self-ejected, cleared another 12 rounds before the entire weapon burst into flames slowly killing D-17893.
