Item #: SCP-5994
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5994 is allowed to freely wander the site due to the usefulness of its anomalous abilities for Internal Security. SCP-5994's room is to be no less than 10 x 10 meters.
Description: SCP-5994 is an adolescent American male from ████████, Maine. It is fourteen years old as of initial containment, weighing 176 kg, and 177 cm tall, with Dark hair and Brown eyes. SCP-5994 is able to sense the emotions, and thoughts stemming from said emotions, of anyone and anything within 10 meters of it. It is also capable of limited telekineses in which it can move objects within 5 meters of it, up to 2 meters from any surface including from any point of its body. When SCP-5994 is exposed to overly happy/sad or stressful situations, its anomalous abilities may increase in strength and/or range (See Addendum 5994-A). SCP-5994 is generally very polite, kind, and optimistic. It enjoys helping out, and is very obedient towards Foundation personnel. Since initial containment, SCP-5994 has expressed no desire to escape containment, and has stated and confirmed during interviews that it is content with life at the Site and is thankful for a place where it can be taken care of. During a Containment Breach (See Addendum 5994-B) SCP-5994 exhibited immunity to SCP-053's effects while it was guiding SCP-053 to Gate-A in search for help and assistance from the NTF. Future encounters with other SCP adolescents and children have lead to believe that SCP-5994 is immune to the effects of SCPs its age and below. It is currently unknown whether or not if SCP-5994's protectiveness of children and adolescents its age and below, or its anomalous nature, is what makes it immune to the anomalous effects of young SCPs, due to SCP-5994 itself being unsure. Multiple cross-tests with SCP-5994 and other SCP adolescents and children have shown that SCP-5994 is immune to most if not all of their effects.
Discovery: On █/█/20, Agent ████ was taking a walk around ████████, Maine, and came across SCP-5994 entertaining some local neighborhood children. SCP-5994 was using its anomalous abilities to move a wooden sleigh with reindeer through the air above the children. Agent ████ observed for a while, and then approached SCP-5994 after the children left. Agent ████ introduced herself, and asked SCP-5994 if it had family. SCP-5994 responded saying that it's family were killed a in fire that destroyed its home and that it was living on its own in the alleys due to not wanting to go through the foster care system which it deemed "faulty." Agent ████ told SCP-5994 who she was and about the SCP Foundation. After told about what would happen to it, SCP-5994 told Agent ████ that it was fine with being taken into Foundation custody, and was peacefully secured and transported to a nearby Site. After learning about SCP-5994's abilities, the 05 council determined that they could be used to detect any unwanted attitudes among Foundation Personnel at the Facility, and made it so that SCP-5994 has to write out a report detailing any emotions and/or thoughts it sensed within Foundation personnel that have to do with jealousy, anger, greed, desperation, fear, anxiety, theft, espionage, smuggling, and [REDACTED].
Addendum 5994-A: On █/█/20, SCP-███ breached Containment and breached multiple other SCPs including SCP-5994. SCP-5994 was forced to flee with its life, and looked for surviving Foundation personnel. According to SCP-5994, the first person it sensed was Dr. ██████, who stated that he was in the cafeteria at the time looking for someone. Footage during the Containment Breach shows that SCP-5994 was in Hallway-D at the time it detected Dr. ██████. Review of Site blueprints shows that SCP-5994 was exactly 20 meters away from Dr. ██████ when it sensed him. Tests conducted later with the use of SCP-999 and other resources have shown that when SCP-5994 is exposed to overly happy/sad or stressful situations, its abilities may increase in strength and/or range. Necessary changes have been made to SCP-5994's cell room to accommodate its abilities.
Addendum 5994-B: On █/█/20, at 1800 Hours, SCP-049 managed to breach containment and kill multiple Foundation personnel which it reanimated. At this point SCP-5994 was walking around the Light Containment Zone with an off-duty ScD when the Breach Alarm sounded. SCP-2994 attempted to make its way to its cell room, but encountered reanimated Foundation personnel attacking and killing Security. SCP-5994 fled and eventually encountered SCP-053. SCP-5994 noticed that SCP-053 was distressed and comforted it, stating "Don't cry, everything will be ok, we just have to get to Gate-A and the nice people will help us there." Later Footage shows that SCP-5994 had been walking with SCP-053 for over ten minutes in search for Gate-A to receive help and assistance from the NTF. SCP-5994 was not exhibiting any signs of hostility towards SCP-053 however. The two SCPs encountered SCP-049 and three reanimated Foundation Personnel in Heavy Containment. SCP-5994 was currently armed with a handgun it took from a deceased Security Guard it encountered before it entered Heavy Containment, and SCP-5994 proceeded to aim the handgun at SCP-049, asking SCP-049 to back away. SCP-049 declined, and the three reanimated Foundation personnel went towards SCP-5994 at once. SCP-5994 fired multiple shots while telling SCP-053 to "Run!" Most of the shots penetrated the heads of the reanimated Foundation personnel, and eventually all three ceased movement. SCP-049 proceeded to rush SCP-5994. SCP-5994 fired a shot at SCP-049's facial area, and fled. It managed to shut a door while it fled, and SCP-049 was temporarily stunned due to the door hitting the "beak" of its "ceramic mask." SCP-5994 managed to find SCP-053, and they both took an alternate route through Heavy Containment and managed to find NTF. SCP-5994 placed its gun on the floor and kicked it over to the NTF, stating that it wanted no trouble and that it and SCP-053 needed help. While NTF took SCP-053 and SCP-5994 and placed them in temporary containment units, SCP-5994 explained the situation and reported SCP-049's location.
Interview Log-1: Conducted by Dr. ████████.
Dr. ████████: Hello SCP-5994, I'm sure you won't mind me asking a few questions?
SCP-5994: No sir.
Dr. ████████: Excellent, now then, do you know how you got your abilities?
SCP-5994: I do not know exactly how, but I know they started appearing around October last year.
Dr. ████████: I see, where you protective of children before, or after your abilities began to appear.
SCP-5994: Before. I always liked kids, and enjoyed entertaining and helping them. I think my abilities have gotten stronger as my-
Dr. ████████: As your what?
SCP-5994: As my fifteenth birthday nears.
SCP-5994 looks down at the floor.
Dr.████████: This would imply that your fifteenth birthday must be specifically special in this regard.
SCP-5994: I wish it wasn't. No offense sir, but I don't really want to grow up. It's why I like kids, they remind me of when I was little. I like helping them and entertaining them because I want to give them some nice moments in their childhood, make it a bit more better for them. I watched the news a lot. And hearing about the terrible things that have happened to kids got me angry. Kids don't deserve to be subjected to that. No childhood should be cut short by a bullet or a beating. It breaks my heart thinking about the kids suffering in the world. So in my neighborhood, I would always watch the kids walking to and from school. Making sure they were safe. I guess my abilities have made it easier for me to do that. Maybe they were given to me for that reason.

Dr. ████████: I see.
To date, due to SCP-5994's anomalous abilities, seven Foundation Personnel, including one Executive, have been discovered to be working for rival GoI's, planning to breach SCPs to free or transport them, plotting to sabotage tests or responsible for sabotaging tests, adding to/modifying documents for nefarious purposes, giving false information/lying to Superiors, and/or leaking classified information.
Note: You would think a sentient SCP with the ability to move objects with its mind would be Euclid or even Keter, but I gotta agree with 05 on this one. The kid is content with staying here for the rest of his life, and he likes to help. His abilities are super useful for Internal Security. If it weren't for SC-5994, then that bastard Jeff would have succeeded in pulling his moth infested wool over my eyes. How come our background checks didn't find even one mention of him having fucking connections with the goddamn GOC! Those damn bastards are gonna pay, that's for sure.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-6897 and any SCP-6897-1 instances are to be under 24/7 surveillance. There must be a constant rotation of Agents assigned to the surveillance of SCP-6897. Agents that spot any suspicious behavior shown on the live feed are to immediately note the timestamp shown on the footage during which the activity can be shown. Agents must then notify the on-duty supervisor immediately after. Due to the location and nature of SCP-6897, Site-containment is impractical and the risks of exposure are numerous and likely. In the event that SCP-6897 and SCP-6897-1 instances become more active outside of their observed regular daily routine, Agents assigned to the post are to immediately report such activity to the on-duty supervisor at Observation Post-███ who will immediately report it to the on-staff at Site-██ and issue additional instruction to Agents assigned to SCP-6897.
Description: SCP-6897 is a house located in the suburbs of ████, Pennsylvania. 154.219 square meters, with a well kept cream-colored exterior, SCP-6897 has a furnished interior. SCP-6897 houses five entities designated as SCP-6897-1 instances. Four of the SCP-6897-1 instances appear to be human, while the fifth appears to be a species of dog known as the German Shepard. The four human SCP-6897-1 instances are caucasian and consist of a man, a woman, and adolescent boy and girl. They appear to be a family. SCP-6897-1 instances have been observed to follow a regular daily routine.
0700: SCP-6897-1 instances open the door of SCP-6897. Of these instances, two have backpacks on and hold brown paper bags. The SCP-6897 instances wait for the morning school-bus to arrive in front of SCP-6897. When the bus arrives, two SCP-6897-1 instances stay behind at the porch and wave at the leaving SCP-6897-1 instances as they approach the school-bus and get on. This event happens five days a week on weekdays, and follows the school year schedule of the nearest High School, which is where the two adolescent SCP-6897-1 instances go to on the school-bus.
0900: An instance of SCP-6897-1 leaves SCP-6897 and goes to a grey sedan parked in the driveway of SCP-6897. Initial screenings of the car have not detected any anomalous behavior. The SCP-6897-1 instance drives to an office building in a nearby city. This SCP-6897-1 instance has been observed working in said office building.
1700: The SCP-6897-1 instance returns from the office building to SCP-6897.
1400: The two adolescent instances of SCP-6897 arrive by school-bus, and get off at SCP-6897.
For the rest of the day the SCP-6897 instances stay inside
1830: SCP-6897-1 instances gather in a room located inside SCP-6897. The instances gather at a table, sit, and proceed to eat the food presented on several plates in front of them. The food has been identified as consisting of various foods commonly eaten throughout this area of the United States.
2200: Two SCP-6897-1 instances go to separate rooms inside of SCP-6897. Inside these rooms are several furnishings including a bed and desk. These SCP-6897 instances proceed to lie in their beds and appear to sleep.
2300: After finishing a movie in what appears to be the living room of SCP-6897, one instance of SCP-6897-1 goes to a separate room in the house and lies in bed. One of the remaining two SCP-6879-1 instances takes the other one outside of the building part of SCP-6897, and to the backyard. The SCP-6879-1 instance being walked immediately goes to sleep in the doghouse in the backyard of SCP-6897. The remaining SCP-6897-1 instance then proceeds to go to a room, and lie in bed with a fellow SCP-6897-1 instance.
On weekends, SCP-6897-1 instances stay inside of SCP-6897 for longer periods of time, only going out occasionally. Various activities that SCP-6897-1 instances perform when going out currently have been observed to be:
When a human SCP-6897-1 instance walks the canine SCP-6897-1 instance.
When all SCP-6897-1 instances go inside the car and drive to a local supermarket. They have been observed purchasing select food products.
Addendum: Further investigations support that there is absolutely no evidence of SCP-6897's anomalous properties. Everything is perfectly normal. I strongly recommend that investigation into this family cease. They are normal humans who should be left alone, not anomalies.
Note: Researcher Sharp, have you looked at the initial evidence more than once?
- Dr. Blake
Note: I've looked over it Sir. And there is nothing that suggests that SCP-6897, and the SCP-6897-1 instances, have any sort of anomalous properties, behavior, and/or effects.
- Junior Researcher Sharp
Note: I agree with Sharp. I've looked over the reports and triple-checked them. There is no evidence of anomalous properties at all. It's just a perfectly normal family, living a perfectly normal suburban family life, in a perfectly normal suburban home. We should seriously stop poking into these people's lives. Not only are we wasting valuable Foundation resources, but we're unnecessarily, and perhaps unethically, poking and prodding this family.
- Junior Researcher Haften
Note: Haften, you were explicitly told to not view the initial reports more than once.
- Dr. Blake
Note: Sir, I did look it over once and I didn't see any evidence of anomalous properties provided with the report. Then I triple-checked it to make sure.
- Junior Researcher Haften
Note: You're completely sure that you only viewed it once before you checked?
- Dr. Blake
Note: Yes Sir. I remember looking through some reports that were provided to me. I found that report and remembered that you gave it to us so we could add to the documentation of the SCP. I looked over the report and was surprised to find no evidence of anomalous behavior provided. Then I checked.
- Junior Researcher Haften
Note: I told you to look over the Report as soon as you got it. You dictated that it was in a stack of other reports. Did you not follow instructions?
- Dr. Blake
Note: I must've forgotten Sir. I guess I just stuck in with the other reports I received, sorry.
- Junior Researcher Haften
Note: I heavily doubt that considering that I watched you lot receive those initial reports.
- Dr. Blake
Addendum SCP-6897-2: Researchers assigned to SCP-6897 must be rotated on a daily basis. Tasks provided to them pertaining to SCP-6897 must be able to be completed within a day. The tasks must be short, specific and simple. Simple enough that constant checking of the initial evidence isn't needed, specific enough so that the Researcher already knows what to look for and what to do before looking at the Reports.
Addendum SCP-6897-1: On █/█/19, Agents working nearby on separate assignments caught wind of a 911 call originating from the suburban area. See transcript below:
[Transcript of 911 call originating from ███████████ , Pennsylvania]
Operator: 911 where is your emergency?
Caller: Ya gotta come quick, my neighbor's house, I think something broke in!
Operator: Where are you right now sir?
Caller: ██████████ St! My neighbor's house is number ██! Please send the police, I'm seeing some bigfoot looking things through their window!
Operator: Dispatching emergency services now Sir please stay on and out of sight.
Caller: Please ya gotta hurry my neighbor has a wife and kids. I think they're still inside I see their car parked!
Operator: Did you notice anything else Sir?
Caller: Oh yeah! There's-
sudden silence
Operator: Sir?
slight shuffle, followed by the sound of a click and the call-end beep
[End of Transcript]
The call was intercepted by Foundation Agents at Observation Post-███ in the nearby city. They immediately disguised themselves as police and hurried to the origin of the call. The Agents managed to get to the origin of the call two minutes before actual police arrived. Agent ████ knocked on the callers door and asked to speak with the caller while Agent █████ and Agent ███████ went to the subject of the call, and checked the house out using Anomaly Detection Tools issued to them for their original assignment. The ADT's detected extreme temperatures in the home, inconsistent with the surrounding suburban environment. Agents logged the findings in the ADTs, and alerted site-staff at Site-██.
Addendum SCP-6897-5: What you are about to go through are several reports and interviews. These reports contain evidence for SCP-6897's anomalous behavior. Due to the nature of SCP-6897, it is strongly recommended that you do not look at the evidence unless you are absolutely sure you want to. Looking at the evidence more than once will cause you to forget it almost instantly and develop a confident sense that SCP-6897 is non-anomalous, and an adamant view that documentation of SCP-6897 is not needed and wasteful. We ourselves are unsure of what we're dealing with. This is an entity that is desperately trying to conceal its true nature from the World. Thankfully this makes our job much easier since its somewhat self-containing. However due to there being too many questions unanswered and too much of a mystery surrounding SCP-6897, we must monitor it at all times. We don't know what SCP-6897 wants. We don't know why it does what it does. The SCP-6897-1 instances may be connected to SCP-6897, and they may all be one entity. However the SCP-6897-1 instances and SCP-6897 itself may be separate entities. Either way this SCP is capable of blending in with normal society. We do not know where it came from, how it became what it is, or what it wants. If you are still confident in proceeding, very well.
Interviewed: [Agent Smith]
Interviewer: [Dr. Keth]
Foreword: [Dr. Keth interviews Agent Smith about his investigations pertaining to SCP-6897]
<Begin Log, [XX:30]>
Dr. Keth: Greetings Agent Smith.
Agent Smith: Hello doc.
Dr. Keth: You're being interviewed about your investigation into SCP-6897. We have been receiving contradictory reports from you and other Agents
Agent Smith: Yep.
Dr. Keth: Well, why?
Agent Smith: Well you see, the first time I checked it out with my ADT, the house was a-ok. Didn't see anything weird. I was told the guys who first found the house got readings of extremely high temperatures. But when I checked the readings on my ADT, the temp was normal and it didn't detect anything else at the moment
Dr. Keth: Our initial report says that the ADT detected extremely high temperatures Agent. However your additional reports said temp was normal
Agent Smith: I don't remember including that in my initial report Sir. I'm pretty sure I listed that the temp was normal and even provided the reading from the ADT
Dr. Keth: I have your initial report right here. I'll open it up and look at it. I was told by my subordinates that you included ADT readings of extreme temperatures. Let's see if they're right.
Agent Smith: Well doc, I dunno what to tell you. I'm very sure I listed the temp as normal, and included the ADT reading to back it up.
Dr. Keth: Alright.
Dr. Keth opens up the report and reads through it
Agent Smith: I mean there might be some sort of mixup or something.
Dr. Keth: It says right here that the house had extreme temp, and the ADT reading itself shows it.
Agent Smith: What?
Dr. Keth: Here, read it.
Dr. Keth slides the report to Agent Smith. Agent Smith looks at the evidence section
Agent Smith: Um, Doc. It says right here that temp is normal, and the ADT's reading shows normal temp.
Dr. Keth: Did you look at the reading again after you finished your report?
Agent Smith: Of course! I triple-checked the reading and my report before submitting it.
Dr. Keth: Alright.
Dr. Keth grabs the report and looks at it
Dr. Keth: Ok, uh-
Dr. Keth suddenly stops
Agent Smith: [What is it doc?.
Dr. Keth: Hmm. Alright everything seems normal. Your initial report coincides with your additional reports. Must've been a misunderstanding. You're free to leave
Agent Smith: Doc, you just said that there was a contradiction, that I somehow wasn't seeing.
Dr. Keth: I did? Well uh, my bad must've read it wrong. Blacked out for a bit there. You're free to go
Agent Smith: Uh, ok. Cya doc.
<End Log, [XX:00]>
Closing Statement: After the Interview, Dr. Keth and Head Researcher Blake check the interview-room footage. Head Researcher Blake suddenly stops the footage as it shows the report and its contents. Head Researcher Blake notifies Dr. Keth that it does in fact show that the ADT reading listed extremely hot temperatures anomalously present. Dr. Keth tells Dr. Blake that it doesn't show that, and instead it shows the ADT reading listing normal temp common with a suburban home. Dr. Blake calls in a Junior Researcher and asks her to look at the footage. The Junior Researcher confirms what Dr. Blake said. Dr. Keth is puzzled.
Note: I suspect that there may be some sort of cognito-hazard at play here. I'll run some tests to confirm my suspicions. I also think I know where it might be coming from if there really is in fact a cognito-hazard, and I'll try to confirm that too.
- Dr. Blake
Addendum: Dr. Blake conducts a test and presents several documents to four Class-D held in separate rooms. These documents contain initial evidence reports filed by Agents investigating SCP-6897. The Class-D are instructed to go through each report once. After doing so they will report what they read and await further instructions. All Class-D report that the documents contain evidence of anomalous properties detected in SCP-6897. The Class-D are told to wait five minutes. Five minutes pass and the Class-D are asked if they are experiencing any headaches or other systems (related to cognito-hazards) Each of the Class-D deny experiencing any such symptoms. The Class-D are then told to go through each document once again, and to report what they read, as well as any odd feelings or symptoms. All Class-D report that the documents state that there is no evidence that SCP-6897 exhibits any anomalous behavior and/or properties. All Class-D further report that they do not feel anything out of the ordinary. The Class-D are then provided additional documents and the test repeats. The results of the second part are the same as the first part, with the Class-D stating that the documents contain evidence of anomalous behavior after the first time they read them, and then reporting that the documents state that there is no anomalous behavior after reading them a second time, as well as stating that they themselves do they feel anything out of the ordinary. This time however, after reading the documents a second time and reporting no symptoms, All Class-D suddenly state that everything is perfectly normal and that Foundation staff shouldn't investigate any further as there's no need to. The test is then concluded and the Class-D are given amnestics.
Note: I think what we're dealing with here is a sort of cognito-hazard, but not as dangerous as the common ones we've dealt with. I think it simply erases the memory of seeing evidence of anomalous behavior pertaining to the SCP, and filters it out when they see it again, so that they cannot acknowledge it and instead they see the opposite. Further more, I believe that persons effected are left with a feeling to defend the SCP, and state that's it not anomalous and there's no need to treat it as such. To be frank, I don't really know why this is happening. My best guess is that the SCP wants to shield itself and hide. If it's found out, it simply "fixes" the evidence and the individual. Also it looks like the effects don't apply immediately. Either the more you see evidence of anomalous behavior you forget faster or immediately.

| SCP-6897: EFFECTS EXPLORATION |
|
| Subject |
Will attempt to thoroughly test out the effects of SCP-6897. |
| Protocol |
Agents who volunteered for the test will each conduct separate investigations. They may not look at each other's findings, they may not work with each other, they may not speak with each other. Any recordings are to be done cautiously, and the Agent must not hear all of what is being recorded while its being recorded, nor play the recording in the vicinity of SCP-6897 and other Agents, and must play it in the designated sound-proof room provided at Observation Post-██. Agents will list and provide their evidence in reports. Once finished Agents will be placed in the same room with each other and read each others reports. After that Agents will receive their own reports back and read through them. Once finished, all Agents will read the reports one more time, then file them to one of the Junior Researchers that will be present after the test. The Junior Researcher will then await further instruction, which will consist of the Reacher skimming through each report and loudly relaying the evidence that said reports contained. |
| Results |
Further caution was taken to ensure that the effects of SCP-6897 would not activate during the evidence gathering part of the test. Once Agents finished their reports, they were seated in an available room at Observation Post- █, set aside specifically for the test. Agents then switched reports as instructed and read them out loud one at a time. Agents then switched reports back and received their own reports from each other. Agents read their own reports out loud one at a time. This time, some evidence included in their reports was not mentioned by the Agent as they read through it. This happened for every Agent. After finishing their reading, all Agents made subtle comments, stating views such as "not much stuff," "seems watered down," and "not as anomalous of some others I've dealt with." Agents once again read out loud their own reports as instructed. This time, no evidence included in the report was mentioned, and all agents afterward confidently stated that everything was "perfectly normal" and that there was no need for further investigation. The Agents were told that the test was over, and were instructed to relay their reports to Junior Researcher Clarke as they left the room. As this happened each Agent once again made a comment about how everything was normal with one even saying "seems like everything's fine." After the Agents left, Junior Researcher Clarke was instructed to quickly skim through all reports at the same time while saying out loud the evidence each report provided. Junior Researcher Clarke confirmed that there was in fact evidence of anomalous behavior included in every report. As Junior Researcher Clarke skimmed through and read the evidence out loud he would often times stop mid sentence and continue with the next piece of evidence without finishing relaying the previous piece. In short, each report had similar evidence which may explain the inability for the Agents to read off some pieces of evidence during the second exchange, and why Junior Researcher Clarke experienced uncertainty as well as not finishing reading off evidence during the last part of the test. |
Note: As I suspected, there indeed is some sort of anomalous filter at play here. It seems that the effects take place almost immediately after reviewing the evidence more than once. We had some problems during the first part of the test, but managed to sort them out. This will be challenging. We would need people to separately confirm each piece of evidence as the reports come in. At the very least, the effects don't cause the subject to be unable to comprehend any and all evidence of anomalous behavior once they set in. Agents are still capable of discovering new information, they just cannot comprehend information that they already discovered and reviewed before. This is sort of confusing when you assume that the the set-in of effects has a structure. However what if the SCP itself is manually filtering out evidence when it detects such evidence being comprehended. This may explain latency in the effects setting-in in conditions that were initially assumed would be causing the effects to set-in.
- Dr. Blake
Addendum: Dr. Blake has been instructed to meet with two O5 heads as well as members of the Ethics Committee to discuss SCP-6897 due to complaints filed by researchers and agents involved with SCP-6897, claiming Dr. Blake was misusing Foundation resources and unreasonably spying on a civilian family. Dr. Blake brought with him evidence of SCP-6897's anomalous effects. Dr. Blake introduced himself, addressed the concerns of the O5 and Ethics Committee, and proceeded to explain the nature of SCP-6897. After this Dr. Blake provided the evidence while stating "only look through it once, cause if you look through it more than once you'll forget everything and also think that this isn't an actual SCP." After the O5 and Ethics Committee looked through the evidence and were careful to only do so once, they acknowledged the evidence and dismissed the claims against Dr. Blake.
Below is some of the evidence provided by Dr. Blake. Dr. Blake explained that he had his fellow researchers look through the reports he was planning to bring, so they could confirm to him that they did have evidence. Dr. Blake himself has only looked at each piece of evidence only once. Remember to NOT look at the evidence more than once.
Footage taken inside of the bathroom in SCP-6897. Agent ████ entered SCP-6897 in an attempt to find more information while the SCP-6897-1 instances were all out. Agent ████ instinctively captured this photo on his camera while checking the bathroom and encountering an unknown entity outside the bathroom window looking at him. The figure is unknown and assumed to be an additional SCP-6897-1 instance or an extension of SCP-6897
Note: It's just the daughter looking through the window. Why would you friken shine a light in her face? Stop bothering these people and invading their home!

These findings contradict initial findings that presented evidence of SCP-6897's anomalous properties.
There's- Oh crap.
sudden silence
Operator: Sir?
Caller: What the f-
slight shuffle, followed by the sound of a click and the call-end beep
The caller apologized for calling and stated that it was a misunderstanding. When asked why did they not specify during the call, the caller explained that they must have accidentally put the phone down in shock. When asked why they were in shock, the caller explained that he saw his neighbor's kids doing something "weird" and followed with "but if that's what they like to do, eh. I don't really care and it's none of my business." When pressed further about what they saw, the caller stated "it was just the kids wearing uh, animal suits."
Interviewed: [Agent Smith]
Interviewer: [Dr. Keth]
Foreword: [Dr. Keth interviews Agent Smith about his investigations pertaining to SCP-6897]
<Begin Log, [XX:30]>
Agent Smith: Well you see, the first time I checked it out with my ADT, the ADT showed that the house had extreme temperatures, drastically different than the temperature of the surroundings. And so I listed it on my report and moved on. Eventually I filed the report and investigated further. I decided to go at it by the temperature angle. But when I checked it out with my ADT, it said showed that the temperature was completely normal and consistent with that of suburban homes in the area. I checked in with other agents and they said that similar things happened to them. Their ADT's would show some anomalous behavior, but when the double-checked suddenly it wasn't there and everything was normal.
Dr. Teth: I see.
Agent Smith: And well since we have to log anything and everything we find, well we had to report that changes as well.
Dr. Teth: And because of that, we've been receiving contradictory reports because you and the other Agents received contradictory results one after another.
Agent Smith: Exactly doc.
Dr. Teth: And this has happened to every agent?
Agent Smith: Yep. No matter what we do. One guy saw some weird thing in the window looking back at him and he snapped a quick pic. He then snapped some more and then got out of there. The weird thing was that he was in the blackout van on the other side of the street. The van was off, the Agent had blackout wear and was well-hidden. Whatever that thing was, it knew exactly where he was. Anyways he checked out the pics. Only one of them showed the thing, the rest just showed a window with no one there. It was pretty weird.
Dr. Teth: Anything else?
Agent Smith: Yeah. The weirder thing is it looks like whatever's happening, it only happens individually. Some other guy showed me his ADT, and it also showed high temp readings. I told him to scan the house again and after he did, the ADT showed normal temp readings. We asked another Agent to scan the house with her ADT, she did and got the high temp reading as well as a hazard warning. She scanned the house again and only normal readings were shown.
Dr. Teth: What kind of hazard?
Agent Smith: Didn't specify, it just said that there was a hazard of some sort.
Dr. Teth: Anything else?
Agent Smith: Well doc, I think we're dealing with an infohazard here.
Dr. Teth: What makes you say that?
Agent Smith: While we were showing our ADT readings and explaining our findings to other Agents an Agent asked to use our ADTs to check something. He told us that our ADTs all said that the house indeed had high temp. We were confused and asked him to check it again. He did, then he said "wait that's weird," and then told us that now the reading's were normal. Then an Agent who went beside him to look at the ADT said "what? No, it says high temp." So yeah, I think whatever that house is, whenever we look certain stuff it just prevents us from doing so again.
Dr. Teth: ** I see. Well thank you Agent. We will be considering our next course of action. You are free to go.
Agent Smith:** Alright doc, cya.
**<End Log, [XX:41]>
Closing Statement: It seems that we will need to redo our approach to this SCP. Its effects could potentially be more than just a simple filter.
