Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-4486 is to be placed in a stainless steel safe of which the code changes every hour, to keep affected subjects at bay.
The safe is to be monitored with 4 camera's at any time with the book open.
If any entry is to change while monitoring, the safe is to be replaced and the book closed.
Personnel above Level 4 must be called in at the end of each day to ensure the structural integrity of the safe is well maintained.
The personnel must be psychologically evaluated after inspection of the containment unit to ensure SCP-4486 has not affected them negatively.
Description:
SCP-4486 resembles a normal book, however if the book has not had a meal recently the words will shift and change constantly.
Upon eating a victim the book will change to include the last thing a victim wrote. Usually also including splotches of blood from the victim inside as well.
Other traces of them seem to be small references to them on the title of the book, and small snippets of text placed randomly within the book directed towards the victim and occasionally mentioning the victim.
The book has the property to bend reality to it's whims based on what's written in it, and make written stories reality.
The book also has the ability to make the reader obsess with the book and draw them to read more and more.
