Description: SCP-XXXX is a device consisting of a brain wave monitor attached to a circuit board via a thin fiber-optic cable. The circuit board is outfitted with two knobs and one large button, all unlabeled. It is not fully clear what each knob is used for, however researchers have found that adjustments need to be made between tests with different subjects in order for it to work correctly. The device draws power from a 1350W PSU plugged into a 240V outlet in its containment chamber. Also directly attached to SCP-XXXX is an aluminum dish measuring 14" in diameter. Blocking this dish will render SCP-XXXX ineffective until the dish is no longer obscured. Any lifeforms standing in front of the dish will experience mild radiation sickness after 2 minutes of exposure.
SCP-XXXX is capable of physically manifesting an entity (known as SCP-XXXX-01) that takes on the form of whatever the subject attached to SCP-XXXX's foremost thought is. SCP-XXXX will only manifest entities that can be visualized by the subject, and only to the extent that the subject is able to understand. For example, if the subject can visualize an object but cannot visualize exactly what that object does, the object will only do so much that the subject can understand.
The manifestation process of SCP-XXXX-01 begins when the subject is attached to SCP-XXXX and has a clear visualization of an entity that they know of in their head. Once the red button on SCP-XXXX is pressed, the area directly in the path of the device's dish will exhibit small flashes of light and appear to ripple while a crackling noise is heard. After approximately 5-10 seconds, SCP-XXXX-01 will appear in the affected area just as it was visualized by the subject.
