SCP-XXXX when initially recovered from Richard Starks' range, with his Colt M4 inside.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be stored in Armed-Research Site-127 in a high-security storage cell, accessible only to Level 3+ personnel and the SCP-XXXX research team. Following an attempted contaiment breach on ██.03.2020 (see INCIDENT REOPRT 127-5), all facility guards are to be given keycards allowing access to SCP-XXXX's storage cell. SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties are only allowed to be used in case of an emergency, negligence will be met with termination.
Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a Ziegel Engineering Model 37 hard-sided aluminum gun case, with the following dimensions: 11.43x33.02x48.26 cm, with the key difference of having markings of the "CaseAuthority" company. Investigation by MTF Mu-3 ("Highest Bidders") has traced the accquisition of this SCP to Chris Lee, dated 10.10.2010, according to document XXXX-A. More information in Addendum XXXX-CL.
Found on 3.06.2019 in [REDACTED], Kentucky, on a private shooting range belonging to Richard Starks. See more information in recovery log and interview XXXX-1.
Upon placing a conventional firearm, a chamber of a conventional firearm or in some cases, the breech of a firearm and closing the case, the firearm (or the inserted part, when it is integrated with a firearm) gains the ability to fire until it suffers a malfunction disallowing the use of the firearm, without the need to externally supply it with ammunition. Interestingly enough, there is no visual evidence of the weapon being loaded on all visual spectrums, however, a high speed camera footage has shown that the cartridge manifests itself 0.0006s on average after the trigger has been pulled. When fed traditionally, the firearm will function normally.
It is currently speculated that the cartridges used in firearms affected by SCP-XXXX are transported to the chamber of a firearm from alternate dimensions.
It has been noted that the type of ammunition supplied to the firearm affected by SCP-XXXX is always appropriate to the target, while also being safe to the firearm and shooter; SCP-XXXX seems to discern targets based on their silhouettes. This may indicate that the being is sentient to a degree. More information in test logs.
It is currently unknown how many instances of SCP-XXXX exist, and investigation of the Ziegel Engineering company has led to believe they’re unaffiliated with the anomalous properties of SCP-XXXX.
Addendums:
GUIDELINES FOR SCP-XXXX RESEARCH TEAM
The information below is to be read by any new personnel on the research team.
- All firearm safety rules are to be obeyed. If research personnel intentionally mistreat a firearm, they are to be discharged from the team with no appeal.
- Treat every firearm as if it was loaded.
- Never point a firearm at something you’re not willing to destroy.
- Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target.
- Know your target and what is beyond it.
- Firearms used in testing are to be disassembled and cleaned after use. Gunsmith inspection of tested firearms is recommended, when possible. If critical to testing, repairs are to be made to any damaged firearm components.
- Testing equipment such as: Chronographs, High-speed cameras, thermal cameras and other equipment is to be regularly maintained.
- All personnel are to wear hearing and eye protection when testing SCP-XXXX. Personnel directly assisting in tests consisting of firing more than 250 rounds are to wear welding gloves, ballistics faceshields (rated minimally IIIA NIJ) and respirators with P100 filters to avoid lead poisoning and permanent injury. Hygiene is to be maintained for the well-being of all staff.
FOLLOWING TEST XXXX-0321, ALL CROSS-TESTING WITH SCP-XXXX IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
SCP-XXXX Test logs
| TEST LOG | Firearm used | Target | Rounds Fired | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| XXXX-0100 | Richard Starks’ Colt M4 with a semi-automatic lower receiver. | Standard Foundation paper target | 15 | 15 5.56 cases found lying on the floor, seemingly identical to that of FMJ ammunition used by Foundation. |
| XXXX-0101 | Richard Starks’ Colt M4 with a semi-automatic lower receiver. | Standard Foundation paper target, followed by ballistic gelatin behind it. | 1 | Bullet confirmed to be 55 Grain M193 Ball projectile, currently standard for all Foundation training facilities. |
| XXXX-0102 | Richard Starks’ Colt M4 with an automatic lower receiver. | Standard Foundation paper target | ~550 | The firearm caught on fire at ~420 rounds. The barrel has ruptured rendering the weapon unusable. The weapon requires repairs for further testing. |
| XXXX-0104 | Glock-18 with a stock. | Standard Foundation paper target. | ~1200 | The trigger has melted, repairs highly advised. |
| XXXX-0105 | G36K | Standard Foundation paper target. | ~930 | The handguard has caught on fire at ~700 rounds in. After letting the rifle cool, It has fired without problems. Handguard and barrel change highly recommended. |
| XXXX-0106 | FN MAG machine gun | Standard Foundation paper target. | ~1000 | The action has locked up, not allowing any more rounds to be fired. Damage to the barrel has been noted. |
| XXXX-0109 | M4A1 | D-XXXX-H-A-IV1 | 10 | Unlike before, the recovered projectiles were M995 tungsten core bullets designed for armor piercing use. This may indicate the entity’s sentience and is to be further tested. |
| XXXX-0110 | M4A1 | D-XXXX-H2 and D-XXXX-H-A-IV | 2 | 1 hollow point defensive ammunition bullet with exemplary expansion and 1 M995 bullet recovered from the ballistics gel. |
| XXXX-0112 | Mossberg 590A1 | Pheasant silhouette paper target with ballistic gelatin behind it. | 1 | Number 5 shot pellets commonly used for hunting birds recovered from ballistic gel. |
| XXXX-0115 | Mossberg 590A1 | Brown bear silhouette paper target with ballistic gelatin behind it. | 1 | 3 inch Brenneke slug used for brown bear hunting/defense recovered from gelatin. It is hereby confirmed that the anomaly has a degree of sentience and chooses ammunition for the firearms affected by it appropriate to its target. |
| XXXX-0118 | Glock 17 | D-XXXX-H-IIIA3 | 1 | Bullet failed to penetrate, recovered FMJ 9x19. |
| XXXX-0119 | GsH-18 | D-XXXX-H-IIIA | 1 | Penetration has been achieved, recovered a 7N31 9x19 bullet4. It is hereby confirmed that the anomaly picks ammunition for the firearm that will not harm it or the user. |
| XXXX-0182 | M134 minigun with electric motor | Decommissioned foundation armored vehicle, distance 500 meters. | ~100 000 | Numerous stoppages encountered after the 30 thousand rounds mark, complete meltdown of the barrel group experienced at the end of the test. Unit unusable and is to be salvaged and disposed of. Ammunition casings are to be collected, it is still being discussed whether cleaning and reloading them or melting and selling them will be more profitable. |
| XXXX-0304 | SCP-127 | Standard foundation target followed by ballistic gel | 60 | 60 human-like teeth recovered from ballistic gel. The weapon has not experienced any change in function. |
| XXXX-0310 | SCP-2158 | SCP-2158-1 | 20 | 20 blackpowder .40-40 projectiles recovered from body. It seems that the SCP has gained the anomalous effect of SCP-XXXX. |
| XXXX-0321 | SCP-2818 | Standard foundation steel target. | ██ | [REDACTED] FOLLOWING TEST XXXX-0321, ALL CROSS-TESTING WITH SCP-XXXX IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED, AS PER DECISION OF THE 05 COUNCIL. |

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: All known instances of SCP-XXXX are uncontained, with a confirmed presence in the Pacific Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. All attempts to isolate instance of the entity(s) itself have resulted in a successful retreat far below the surface of the sand. However one “envelope” has been successfully recovered as SCP-XXXX-3-A, and is currently stored within archive 56J of Site 19.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is an unclassified species consisting of 1 6 9 ████ entities that travel through and inhabit wet or saturated sand. Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX, it has not been directly observed, however the behavior of sand an instance is inhibiting is plainly visible when at or near the surface. Entities are detectible via the rapidly oscillating magnetic field they emit, and are individually identifiable by the unique period of this oscillation.
When not in ‘Travel State’ or contained within an envelope, sand surrounding SCP-XXXX appears to undulate as if undergoing liquefaction and is unable to support any significant pressure. The maximum amount of sand it is able to exert this effect over is unknown, however the estimated mass of this sand has exceeded ███kg.
SCP-XXXX seems to control the movement of sand it inhabits at will, and is able to raise said sand above the surface and form complex shapes. This appears to require great exertion as it has only been observed to do so outside an envelope when threatened.
SCP-XXXX is attracted to objects that it can use to contain inhabited sand, referred to as envelopes. The qualifications for choosing an envelope are unknown. When using an envelope, SCP-XXXX with achieve locomotion through a variety of means including walking, rolling, and sliding across the surface of the sand. Known envelopes and their attached instance of SCP-XXXX are noted in addendum XXXX-A along with conjecture.
SCP-XXXX-1-(A) was found after several identical reports of an unknown person disappearing from the beach by walking directly into the waves around ████████ ██████, California wearing what was reported to be a blue wetsuit. It was easily tagged for tracking using a pneumatic rifle.
Site A119 was created at ██████████, Antarctica to observe several instances of SCP-XXXX found where SCP-XXXX-1’s tracking signal reappeared on the beach. Observation summary available in Addendum XXXX-B. Replaced by static camera observation of beach after the creation of Site 815.
Addendum:
Addendum A:
1-A: Blue Pegasus costume. Note: Observed using both bipedal and quadrupedal motion. Recovered from Site A119 on 5-2-2019, examination found no anomalous qualities.
1-B: Black latex body suit. Note: Successfully given to SCP-XXXX-1, older envelope recovered.
2-A: Mascot costume of ███████████ restaurant chain. Note: Costume consistent with those used for advertising in 1990-1995. Foam has rotted out from the hamburger, and is sometimes filled out with sand.
3-A: Diving suit consistent with those used in early 1900s.
3-B: Helmet from 3-A Note: Fate of body of suit unknown. First observed
4-A: Boat fender of unknown make.
5-A: ████████ Note: Not operational.
Conjecture: All known envelopes (besides SCP-XXX-5-A) have consisted of durable, flexible fabrics or plastics. It has been surmised that flexible natural materials are not durable enough to survive in use before observation or are not used for this reason. Proposed reasons for use of envelope have included: increased ease of land exploration, better retention of moisture, social identifiers, and simply being used as toys.

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Secondary Class: Esoteric
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-A is to be kept and maintained at Site XXX under regular guard from no less than 4 Foundation Security Personnel. SCP-XXXX-A is to be regularly watered by Level 3 or higher Research Personnel, and pruned using a XXXX kW plasma cutter. All instances of SCP-XXXX-B are to be closely monitored throughout their development. Upon the end of their life cycle, SCP-XXXX-B is to be immediately incinerated. At no point are any personnel allowed to pick and/or consume SCP-XXXX-B without approval from Dr. XXXXX and Site Director XXXXX.
Description: SCP-XXXX-A is a tree similar in size and shape to that of the Malus domestica species, composed entirely of a crystalline material of unknown origin. Upon examination, the crystalline structure present of the trunk and branches is extremely resilient to most forms of damage, including, but not limited to:
- Immolation
- Freezing
- Serrated Weapons (i.e. axes, saws, pruning shears and chainsaws)
- Acidic solutions as low as 1 pH
- Alkali solutions as high as 14 pH
As of XX/XX/XXXX, the use of a XXX kW plasma cutter has been shown to cut through the branches, albeit for extended periods of use5. Despite the resiliency of SCP-XXXX-A, the trunk contains an engraved text, which states "(Quote TBD)". It has been noted on various encounters with SCP-XXXX-A that the text is translated to the native language of the subject, with three subjects reporting viewing a separate language from one another, despite all being present simultaneously. However, while the trunk and branches are highly resilient to damage, the leaves and fruit are not. The fruit, which has been labeled SCP-XXXX-B, is also composed of similar crystalline material as the trunk of SCP-XXXX-A, albeit the flesh of SCP-XXXX-B is soft to touch6. SCP-XXXX-B is octahedral in shape, with no seeds present within its flesh. Consumption of SCP-XXXX-B without conducting Protocol AB1 will result in immediate death, with the subject usually dying via XXXXX.
Discovery: As determined from dendrochronological testing done on a severed branch by Dr. XXXX, SCP-XXXX-A is estimated to be approximately 10,000 years old. However, human interactions with SCP-XXXX-A were not reported until approximately 4,000 years ago, where an Ancient Sumerian ruler was stated to have interacted with SCP-XXXX-A and consumed SCP-XXXX-B7. How this ruler was able to determine the location of SCP-XXXX-A is still unknown. Further encounters with SCP-XXXX-A throughout history have been recorded in "Historical Log-XXXX", where the last recorded human contact with SCP-XXXX-A happening in the year XXXX until it was rediscovered in 20XX.
Historical Log:| Subject | Location & Time | Abilities |
|---|---|---|
| Gilgamesh | Sumer, ~3000 B.C.E | According to ancient Sumerian artifacts recovered by Agent XXXX and Researcher XXXX, there were records of a Sumerian king who sought out SCP-XXXX. Upon being informed SCP-XXXX would grant him the ability to protect his land for millennia to come, he set out to find SCP-XXXX, where he successfully found SCP-XXXX. Upon completion of the ritual, the Sumerian king gained nigh limitless strength, speed and courage, able to physically overpower animals like bulls, lions, and rhinoceroses. However, the king sought to be immortal as well after witnessing his close companion perish, and sought out SCP-XXXX again. The king did not comply with the ritual and tried to consume SCP-XXXX-B prematurely, resulting in his demise. These events inspired the writing of the "Epic of Gilgamesh". |
Testing Log:
| Subject | Ritual Quote | Abilities |
|---|---|---|
| D-XXXX (Deceased) | "My best friend, XXXX XXXXXXX" | Subject showed an increased density of skeletal, smooth, and cardiac muscle fibers, resulting in increased strength, reflexes, stamina and durability. The subject also showed a further increase in collagen in both their epidermis and skeletal system, resulting in a further increase in durability (skeletal system also showed an increased in calcium phosphate, resulting in the strength of their bones being comparable to a bar of tungsten). Subject was immune to most forms of damage, including puncture, blunt force and laceration wounds. However, the subject did not display the ability to regenerate and wounds inflicted. Subject died XXXX hours later from cardiomegaly due to increased cardiac muscle density. |
| D-XXXX | "My husband, XXXX" | Subject gained severely enhanced perception, which resulted in; enhanced vision capable of viewing all spectrums of light, able to hear as low as 0.001 dB and as high as 194 dB, etc. Subject went into a catatonic state XXXX hours after gaining abilities due to sensory overload. |
| D-XXXX | "My mother" | Subject gained complete control over organic matter. Subject displayed ability to; genetically alter any organism, regenerate from any inflicted harm, transmute organic compounds. |
| D-XXXX | "My life" | Subject gained total control over all dimensions of the known universe. As of present, the subject has displayed; chronokinesis on both a local and grand scale, create spatial and gravitational anomalies, and traverse great distances instantaneously. See Interview XXXX-4-A for psychological report |
Interview XXXX-2A:

Wow! You flipped a card and got: SCP-XXXX (Trashsaurus)!!! You ca reload the page or go to the next.
DATE: 19 Jul 2021 18:52
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: [Paragraphs explaining the procedures]
Description: SCP-XXXX (also known by it's nickname "Trashsaurus") is a 3.5 meter tall amalgamate that is described to be made of garbage and other rotten materials like rotten food, broken props, trash bags and even disposable objects like plates and forks.
The creature made of garbage is described to have 6 legs resembeling that of a Mantodea (Mantis), 2 arms resembeling that of a Pongo (Orangutan) and a face that resembles that of Chelydra Serpentina (Snapping Turtle), and it is also described to have to broken light bulbs as it's eyes that it can use to not only see other creatures, but also see creatures in the dark. SCP-XXXX has also been shown to sound like a broken sound box whenever it roars or makes noises.
For obvious reasons, SCP-XXXX has an odor that isn't very pleasant to say the least, so much so that many who went to it's container without protection felt weak and nauseous. Because of this, some of our scientist were able to collect portions of SCP-XXXX's smell (the smell being classified as B-0FT) to find the following results:
Property being analyzed:
B-0FT
Entity reasponsable for the property:
SCP-XXXX
Researcher involve with the analyzis:
Dr Lockerson
Result of the analyzis:
After analyzing B-0FT and it's properties for the past day or so, it would seems that the odor that we got from SCP-XXXX has a similar yet deadlier mixture of components to that of a Crotalinae's poison (Rattlesnake's poison). That would explain why many of our D-Class personnel felt weak and nauseous (some even having trouble breathing).
Not only that but because of some of it's trash like properties, many of our D-Class personnel have seen the creature sometimes spewing hydrochloric acid out of it's mouth.
SCP-XXXX has also been seen to have the ability to grow in sizes, create extra body parts like an extra arm or head, and even become stronger whenever it eats the rotten material instored in the garbage.
