Item#: SCP- XXXX – The Priestess and the Ogasawara Fleet
Containment Class: Euclid
Disruption Class: Vlam
Risk Class: Notice
Special Containment procedures: SCP- XXXX is currently uncontainable for its specialized arrangement with the Foundation, as the ship patrols in between the islands of Muko, Yomeshima, Ogasawara and Hahajima Retto the currents of this region it is said to be merciless even for the veterans of seafaring for it is in Pacific Ocean and in any case of accident in these waters it is already a death sentence.
Cases of SCP- XXXX received a distress signal, the entire fleet will move swiftly as it could, cases of small marine vessels such of Fishing Vessels and such, the SCP- XXXX – C1- C4 will respond but in case of larger marine vessels the entire fleet will respond and will save human lives and will give first-aid as possible.
Despite of their naming designation, their base of operations is situated in Yomeshima Island where there was a medium sized Shinto Shrine complete with a giant sacred tree and Torii Gate Entrances and Passageways
Description: SCP- XXXX is a collectively referring to a Shrine Priestess and a small Aircraft Carrier Strike Force that patrols in between the islands of Muko, Yomeshima, Ogasawara and Hahajima Retto
SCP- XXXX- A: is a Houshou- class Aircraft Carrier, exterior wise it has the same characteristics of her last appearance before her scrapping on 2 September 1946, with the length of 168.25 m (552 ft) and total displacement of 9,494 long tons (9,646 t) (normal) and range of 8,680 nmi (16,080 km; 9,990 mi) at 12 knots (22 km/h; 14 mph), however there are some reports from the survivors of the ships it saved, that SCP- XXXX is capable of achieving 40 knots but it needs further research and evidence.
For its weaponry it is armed only with 4 × single 14 cm (5.5 in) guns and 2 × single 8 cm (3 in) AA guns and capable of carrying and deploying air group of 15 Bi-planes, the air group is consists of either/and/or of the following; Yokosuka Ro-go Ko-gata, Mitsubishi 1MF (Type 10), Mitsubishi B1M3 (Type 13) torpedo bombers, A1N1 (Type 3) fighters, Nakajima A2N (Type 90) fighters, Mitsubishi B2M (Type 89) torpedo bombers, Nakajima A4N (Type 95) fighters and Yokosuka B3Y (Type 92) bombers and lastly Mitsubishi A5M (Type 96) "Claude" fighters and Yokosuka B4Y1 (Type 96) "Jean" bombers. However, despite of the efforts of the Researchers to understand and explain the mechanics and its operations all are failed due to the nature of the SCP- XXXX-A, but it is theorized that the ship is automated by an anomalous force by the will of XXXX- A
It has tentacles of unknown dimensions but was estimated around 30- 60 meters long however it needs further assessment for it cannot be seen in normal circumstances and was only used for any creatures or objects who are dangerously close to it and was hostile
SCP- XXXX – B: The engine room of SCP-XXXX-A, the room is composed of three hearts of purple color with various sizes the left heart has approximately height of 4.572 Meters (15 feet) and the width of 1.524 Meters (5 feet) the center heart has approximately height of 3.9624 Meters (13 feet) and width of 2.1336 Meters (7 feet) and the right heart has approximately height of 4.2672 Meters (14 feet) with the width of 2.4384 Meters (8 feet) and at the back of it, a large steam engine was embedded on the wall, although the floor and the walls of it are covered with flesh like textures, the said engine is cleaned and emits non- anomalous steam, further analysis and research of SCP- XXXX – B is prevented by the ship’s entity that will be catalogued as SCP- XXXX- D, for the reasons of only SCP- XXXX’s chosen child has the sole permission to walk-in and to the prevention of unwanted hostilities within the ship.
SCP- XXXX – C1- C4: Four Nagara-class Destroyers that act as an escort, these destroyers are identical to those designs that were last sighted during the World War II, with the length of 162.1 m (532 ft) and total displacement of 5,570 long tons (5,659 t) and maximum range of 5,000 nmi (9,300 km) at 36 kn (67 km/h)
It is armed with 5 × 14 cm/50 3rd Year Type naval guns, 2 × 8 cm/40 3rd Year Type naval guns, 22 Type 96 25-mm AA guns (2 triple + 6 twin + 14 single), 10 × Type 93 13.2 mm machine guns and 8 × 61 cm torpedo tubes (8 x Type 93 torpedoes) (2 quad)
It is also capable of carrying 1 × floatplane in which is the Yokosuka Ro-go Ko-gata that exists during at the height of World War II
SCP- XXXX- D: is girl who is wears a traditional Shinto Priestess Clothing and was recorded either dancing on the flight deck or armed with a Japanese Styled Shinto bow and arrow, and acts the captain of the ship, commanding the fleet with gestures by her plain hands or with the bow and arrow, she is an omnipresent entity that can be found in the ships within the fleet
SCP- XXXX- E: is a bipedal creature with an approximate height of 3.048 Meters (10 ft) tall, a physical manifestation of the SCP- XXXX- A that acts as companion when SCP- XXXX- D will set afoot in and inland but it rarely happens except in instances that a populated seaside community will be attacked and once they returned to their base, the Yomeshima Island.
Discovery:
It was all started a rumor about an Aircraft carrier Strike Force that patrols around the Ogasawara Island on April 25, 1950, according to the local fishermen they are seen far from their vessels but enough to glimpse of them, they seem to not disturbed their fishing activities as if they are just there to observe like a watchman or guarding them and once they are preparing to return back to the shore the fleet are “accompanying” them until all of them returned to the safety of the shore.
There are also stories of locals who are saved by the fleet, one incident said it happened in August 14, 1960, there was fishing vessel was caught in a sudden series of strong wave that thrashing their vessel they sent distress calls but the waves are strong enough that the message was cut off short but before the vessel capsize, the two warships (SCP- XXXX – C1- and SCP- XXXX – C3), appeared first ensuring the ship won’t capsize by nearing it on the starboard and broadside, they recalled a Shinto Priestess (SCP- XXXX- D) who was standing on their vessel and with motherly care, she assisted them on boarding on one of the warships (XXXX – C3) and guided them to the mess hall where they were given proper care by the Shinto Priestess (SCP- XXXX- D) and they where given fine dry clothes and given food, after an hour the waters became calmer and they gave their thanks to the Shinto Priestess (SCP- XXXX- D), in which in return the Shinto Priestess fired her bow and arrow that landed on the waters and the waves became more calmer, as the fishermen noticed that their ship was mysteriously fixed and arranged and their lost haul of fish and supplies were replenished the Shinto Priestess (SCP- XXXX- D) told them that a small proverb of sort
“a kind heart and good deeds will be rewarded by Mother Amaterasu and the gods of these islands”
The vessel departed the fleet but as added protection from the harsh seas one warship (SCP- XXXX – C2) escorted them until they are safely secured in their homeshore.

What is SCP?
The SCP Wiki1 is a collaborative writing project with thousands of participating authors. Anyone can join the Wiki. It's quite simple. Everyone is welcomed and you can freely write whatever you want.
But what is an SCP Wiki article composed of? It's divided into three key concepts:
- An interesting idea
- Reasonable and effective containment procedures2
- A clear description
These are crucial to writing a good SCP article. You must draw in the reader and show them the world you've created. Otherwise, they'll just go read SCP-5000 again3 and leave your article in the dust, and we can't have that.
Also, make sure to not drown the reader in exposition. An SCP blandly explaining their entire life story in an interview is boring. Show the reader, don't tell them.
What are Object Classes?
So you've heard of Safe, Euclid, and Keter. But what exactly are these?
Safe
Safe-class SCPs are anomalies that are easily and safely contained. This is often due to the fact that the Foundation has researched the SCP well enough that containment does not require significant resources or that the anomalies require a specific and conscious activation or trigger. Classifying an SCP as Safe, however, does not mean that handling or activating it does not pose a threat.
For a complete list of Safe-class articles on the site, click here.
Euclid
Euclid-class SCPs are anomalies that require more resources to contain completely or where containment isn't always reliable. Usually, this is because the SCP is insufficiently understood or inherently unpredictable. Euclid is the Object Class with the greatest scope, and it's usually a safe bet that an SCP will be this class if it doesn't easily fall into any of the other standard Object Classes.
As a note, any SCP that's autonomous, sentient and/or sapient is generally classified as Euclid, due to the inherent unpredictability of an object that can act or think on its own.
For a complete list of Euclid-class articles on the site, click here.
Keter
Keter-class SCPs are anomalies that are exceedingly difficult to contain consistently or reliably, with containment procedures often being extensive and complex. The Foundation often can't contain these SCPs well due to not having a solid understanding of the anomaly, or lacking the technology to properly contain or counter it. A Keter SCP does not mean the SCP is dangerous, just that it is simply very difficult or costly to contain.
For a complete list of Keter-class articles on the site, click here.
Thaumiel
Thaumiel-class SCPs are anomalies that the Foundation specifically uses to contain other SCPs. Even the mere existence of Thaumiel-class objects is classified at the highest levels of the Foundation and their locations, functions, and current status are known to few Foundation personnel outside of the O5 Council.
For a complete list of Thaumiel-class articles on the site, click here.
Neutralized
Neutralized SCPs are anomalies that are no longer anomalous, either through having been intentionally or accidentally destroyed, or disabled.
For a complete list of Neutralized-class articles on the site, click here.
What is the ACS?
The ACS, or Anomaly Classification System is the relatively newer method of identifying SCPs. There are key features in this new system that I will be discussing, should you use the ACS in your article.
First up: How do you make one of these and how do you check if you're classifying something correctly?
Here is the bare bones code for the ACS that you can put in your article. As an example, I'll be using SCP-2951.4
[[include :scp-wiki:component:anomaly-class-bar-source
|item-number= 2951
|clearance= 3
|container-class= euclid
|secondary-class= none
|secondary-icon= https://urlhere.com
|disruption-class= vlam
|risk-class= warning
]]
And as you can see, the ACS below is a direct copy of what is above.
But ACS isn't limited to just the standard Safe-Euclid-Keter system. Now there are dozens of
Esoteric Classes to choose from for your specific entry. Hell, you can even make your own Esoteric Class if you want and use that.
Below is a few examples of SCPs with different classes. All of these are created with the simple code used above.
You get the general idea now of what these look like, but what do they mean?
Each classification: Clearance Level, Container Class, Disruption Class, Risk Class; they all identify the anomaly in a specific way. In describing the anomaly with a glance, readers can tell what kind of story they're about to read.
General Overview
Clearance Level
This is an adaptation of the already existing Clearance Levels. A number of modifications will be described below. Clearance Levels refers to the level of an employee that is given permission to read the information contained within the document.
Containment Class
This is the same as the classic "Object Class." It is renamed in order to more clearly convey what the classification refers to: Containment. This is the "Contain" part of "Secure, Contain, Protect."
Disruption Class
This is one of the new classes invented for this Classification System. Disruption Class refers to an anomaly's ability to disturb the status quo and/or break the veil. This is the "Secure" part of "Secure, Contain, Protect."
When considering the Disruption Class of an object, ask yourself these questions:
- How swiftly will the influence of the anomaly spread?
- How far will it spread if left unchecked?
- How easily can The Foundation neutralize its effects?
Risk Class
This is one of the new classes invented for this Classification System. Risk Class refers to the severity of an anomaly's effects on an individual person and how easily one can recover from it. This is the "Protect" part of "Secure, Contain, Protect."
When considering the Risk Class of an object, ask yourself these questions:
- How easily can an individual recover, if at all?
- How severe are the effects?
- At what proximity do these effects start being noticed?
Secondary Class
This is an optional new class used, but not invented, for this classification system. The Secondary Class can also be known as the "Esoteric Class."
It is standard for the Containment Class to be set to "Esoteric" when utilizing a Secondary Class, but this is not required.
Clearance Levels
Now onto the Clearance Levels, which comprise of six levels as follows.
Next up is the Disruption Classification system.
Alright got that? Good. Because there is one more. The Risk Class.
The final bit to consider while creating the ACS for your article is the Secondary Class, which I will describe below.
The Secondary Class is reserved for Esoteric anomalies, which is a new category altogether. It replaces the Primary Class with Esoteric and the secondary class with your desired anomaly as shown below.

What Are Threat Levels?
Threat Levels, are an optional classification you can add to an anomaly, further identifying them. I will show you what the individual levels mean, as well as how to add them to your article.
Threat Levels come in seven different levels:
White
The object is beneficial to the Foundation and its use is strictly regulated, as detailed in the object's special containment procedures. Often assigned to Safe class objects.
Blue
The object might be beneficial, but its mechanisms are poorly understood or remain unknown. This applies to items with undefined properties or to entities that react differently to different individuals. Often assigned to Safe and Euclid class objects.
Green
The object is not beneficial, but isn't harmful as long as it is handled correctly. Often assigned to Safe and Euclid class objects.
Yellow
The object is harmful but easy to recontain. This may indicate that it can quickly be brought under control as long as certain, easily achievable conditions are met. May be assigned to either Safe, Euclid, or even Keter class objects.
Orange
The object is unpredictable, exhibiting dangerous properties and is difficult to recontain. It is generally the lowest level assigned to humanoid entities. Often assigned to Euclid and Keter class objects.
Red
The object is highly unpredictable and possesses considerable destructive capabilities. A containment breach may escalate into a K-Class scenario, and the object's recontainment is to be considered a high priority. Often assigned to Euclid and Keter class objects.
Black
The object possesses the capacity for destruction on a global scale. Moreover, containment breaches by such objects are to be considered synonymous with an XK-Class scenario and its recontainment and/or neutralization is to be considered top priority. It is chiefly assigned to Keter class objects.
This is what each Threat Level looks like in an article.
What is Canon?
In the SCP Universe, there are many different storylines and characters. So how exactly does it work?
Each story can belong to a canon or a series of stories. Normally within a hub or series. You can create your own story and characters and have canons interest and overlap with other canons and stories, creating an intricate web of characters and sub-stories.
You can mold and shape your new stories to be however you want, set wherever you want, in any time period you want. There are no limitations to how you can craft your stories and characters.

Item #: SCP-5449
Object Class: Safe Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5449 is to be kept in a storage unit at Site-15 when not being submitted to testing. When SCP-5449 is undergoing testing, no less than 2 personnel with a security clearance of 2 or above are to be watching at all times. SCP-5449 is to be kept in a secure containment chamber on top of a table in Site-15 with a D-class personnel inside the chamber positioned next to SCP-5449 at all times and 1 researcher with a security clearance of 2 or higher supervising the D-class through the observation room. If SCP-5449 turns on, the supervisor is to request that the D-class immediately switch SCP-5449 back off. After turning SCP-5449 back off, the D-class is to, then, be taken out of the chamber and submitted to a psychological evaluation.
If, in such an event, the D-class personnel refuses to comply and does not power off SCP-5449 within the first 10 seconds of SCP-5449 turning on, the supervisor is to alert nearby guards and the D-class is to be taken out of the containment chamber and immediately terminated. A new D-class is to be sent in the containment chamber shortly thereafter and is to turn off SCP-5449 as soon as they enter the containment chamber.
Description: SCP-5449 is a standard 1985 Toshiba T1100, with a 30 x 6 x 30 cm screen. It was first discovered in a computer store in Sydney, Australia by the name of ███████████.
When SCP-5449 is switched on, the screen will display a dark-blue background, and 2 fields will appear. One of them displays "input", while the other, stationed below the "input" field, displays "output". SCP-5449 appears to produce code that outputs anything prompted inside the "input" field, with the programming language varying between a select few seemingly at random, and writes it in the "output" field. All attempts to recover the program's code have failed.
At seemingly random time intervals, SCP-5449 will turn on, displaying a red background on its screen and begin making a high pitched sound, designated SCP-5449-A, that gets exponentially louder each second, eventually surpassing sound-proof walls and headsets after 5 minutes. How it is capable of performing this is unknown at this time (██-██-████). Although times may vary slightly, any persons exposed to SCP-5449-A for over 5 seconds, designated SCP-5449-A1, will exhibit anti-social behaviour, and after 10 seconds of exposure, SCP-5449-A1 will exhibit extremely violent behaviour and are subject to immediate termination.

Item Number: SCP-316
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-316 has no Containment Procedures.
Description:
SCP-316 is an album that was created by an unknown being, trying to give a representation of Alzheimer's and other similar diseases like Dementia. There are currently 6 phases throughout the album.
Stages 1
Here we experience the first signs of memory loss. This stage is most like a beautiful daydream.
The glory of old age and recollection. The last of the great days.
Stage 2
The second stage is the self-realization and awareness that something is wrong with a refusal to accept that. More effort is made to remember so memories can be more long-form with a little more deterioration in quality. The overall personal mood is generally lower than the first stage and at a point before confusion starts setting in.
Stage 3
Here we are presented with some of the last coherent memories before confusion fully rolls in and the grey mists form and fade away. The finest moments have been remembered, the musical flow in places is more confused and tangled. As we progress some singular memories become more disturbed, isolated, broken, and distant. These are the last embers of awareness before we enter the post awareness stages.
Stage 4
Post-Awareness Stage 4 is where serenity and the ability to recall singular memories give way to confusion and horror. It's the beginning of an eventual process where all memories begin to become more fluid through entanglements, repetition, and rupture.
Stage 5
Post-Awareness Stage 5 confusions and horror. More extreme entanglements, repetition, and rupture can give way to calmer moments. The unfamiliar may sound and feel familiar.
Time is often spent only at the moment leading to isolation.
Stage 6
Post-Awareness Stage 6 is without description.

SCP-XXXX. Temporary image while I look for a better one.
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX and the town of ████████████ are to be patrolled and monitored at all times. To facilitate this, a 3-metre concrete barrier topped with barbed wire and intermittent watchtowers have been erected encircling both sites, which are to be kept permanently manned. Any and all intruders are to be turned away peacefully if possible. Any intruders who further attempt to enter the compound are to be captured, interrogated, and amnesticized. In the situation of a violent attempt to enter the compound, lethal force is permitted if necessary. If any individuals are found to be anomalous or affiliated with The Factory in any way, the emergency is to be sounded immediately and the compound is to be put on lockdown until further orders are received.
In the situation that any activity is detected from SCP-XXXX, the emergency is to be sounded immediately and the compound is to be put into lockdown. Lethal force is recommended should any entities emerge from SCP-XXXX. During times of activity, any individuals who enter or were already inside SCP-XXXX are considered KIA. During times of activity, contact is to be maintained with Foundation superiors at all times in case that reinforcements are required.
Instances of SCP-XXXX-A are to be contained on a case-by-case basis, however standard humanoid containment procedures are deemed sufficient for nonviolent instances. Instances which have had their cybernetics removed or replaced may be permitted to become foundation employees, after undergoing standard recruitment procedures.
Description: SCP-XXXX is the designation given to an Industrial complex within the town of ████████████, Ireland. By the time that SCP-XXXX was acquired by the Foundation, it had grown to approximately six times the size of the Industrial park is was originally situated within. No further growth has been observed since it was acquired by the Foundation.
SCP-XXXX-A is the designation given to a number of inviduals affiliated with SCP-XXXX who have been subjected to extensive body modification, classified into three categories:
SCP-XXXX-A-1: Instances at this stage have had minor modifications made to their bodies, usually limited to limbs and organs, however major modifications to the torso have also been recorded. Individuals at this stage have not had any modifications imposed on their brains, and should all of their cybernetics be removed and/or replaced with Foundation-approved prosthetics, transplants, or cybernetics, they may be permitted to join the foundation as a recruit, on a case-by-case basis, standard recruitment procedures apply.
SCP-XXXX-A-2: Instances at this stage have received cybernetic modifications in the brain and head in addition to modifications on the rest of their body. Some instances seemingly unaffected by their modifications to the brain were discovered to share only a single modification, a device currently believed to have read and transmitted the instance's thoughts to an unknown receiver while active. These may be safely removed, and the Instance may have their classification lowered to SCP-XXX-A-1. Any other neural cybernetics, however, have proven impossible to safely remove, and those who have received such cybernetics may range from docile and subservient to violent and animalistic. Instances at this stage have proven impossible to recover, and are to be kept in containment permanently where possible.

DATE: 11 Apr 2021 11:10
Item: SCP-6000
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-6000 is to be kept in a white spacious 5 meter room in Site 17. There are no special procedures to prevent getting infected by SCP-6000 poisonous disease. Instead, workers have to reduce the time spent in SCP-6000 containment in order to stay safe. Once every 2 weeks, the cell will have to be cleansed and disinfected. Janitors are required to wear a face mask and protective gear.
Description: SCP-6000 is a pallid young girl with cyan eyes and long white hair. She wears a simple black dress and brown leather boots. She weighs approximately 65 kilograms and her skin is covered in white lead paint smudges. She is an intelligent and remarkable child with a kind heart and an interesting imagination. She is friendly to all Foundation researchers and D class personnel's.
When near SCP-6000 for more than 15 minutes she releases a deadly white gas that covers most of her containment after an estimated 2 minutes. Within those 2 minutes the person exposed to SCP-6000 will experience severe symptoms of lead poisoning and within minutes, the person would drop dead.
Researchers have been undergoing experiments and test on SCP-6000 and they had a collection of interesting results. Results record before and after incident 6000-2:
- SCP-6000 can make clones of itself entirely out of lead.
- SCP-6000 can produce anything out of lead.
- If someone touches SCP-6000, they will turn into a lead statue within seconds.
- SCP-6000 can withstand damage.
- SCP-6000 does not feel pain
- SCP-6000's hair can turn into a sharp blade which is now referred to as SCP-6000-2
Incident 6000-2: On April 1st 2021, A D-Cass personnel was told to extract a blood sample from SCP-6000. When the D-Class personnel entered the containment, they saw SCP-6000 sitting on the floor and silently playing with her toy dolls. The D-Class personnel took the syringe and slowly jabbed it into SCP-6000 arm. This caused SCP-6000-2 to reveal itself from SCP-6000 neck. It took the form of tinny spider and jumped on the D-Class personnel's arm and bit them, releasing its intoxicating venom. The D-Class personnel suddenly suffered through a seizure and was killed within seconds. Suddenly, the deadly gas released from SCP-6000 body and it travelled up the air vent. It spread across all of Sector 2 and infected and killed over 100 researchers and 50 guards.
After the incident, researchers decided to contain SCP-6000-2 in a small silver box. It would be in a separate cell and would not be released unless the O5 Council had assigned an experiment that required for it to be out of its box.

Special Containment Procedures: Due to rapid and constant changes to the document it has been decided by Prof. █████████ that all blocks of text marked with Example shall signify pieces of information that could regain their relevance at a future date.
This document has been categorized unrestricted from Level 2 or above personnel. This could change if Anomalous properties resume at any point.
The Foundation originally decided to contain the mirror due to the item possessing the ability to act as a window to another dimension. Various Foundation personnel mutually agreed that containing the item could be beneficial to the Foundation after testing. Though some Foundation personnel did not agree with containing such an item, and were vociferous in making their opinions known.
We at the Foundation have found that further containment after neutralization is needed due to the unknown capabilities of the object. Some Foundation theorists have suggested that the item might not even be neutralized, but in a temporarily disabled state.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a large 19th century mirror mostly composed of wood and glass, with a small metallic rim lining the various edges of the mirror. It weighs around 13.6 kilograms and stands 182 centimeters tall. SCP-XXXX is capable of causing 3 entities to manifest whenever the reflective segment of the mirror is viewed for a prolonged period of time (Entities have formally been designated SCP-XXXX-1).
Tests have concluded that SCP-XXXX is a 'window' of sorts to view an extra-dimensional plane of existence, though the tests also indicated that only a small "area" of the dimension can be viewed through the mirror. This small 'area' does change depending on where the mirror is currently located to effectively simulate the reflections present in a normal mirror. Attempting to enter the dimension through the item is inherently impossible, thus deeming expeditions into the location "not possible".
SCP-XXXX-1 has been reported as 3 entities resembling small human children, approximately the size of an average 5 year old. SCP-XXXX-1 is capable of deleting its self from any form recorded video it can be seen in. This also applies to audio recordings that the entities can be heard on.
SCP-XXXX-1 does NOT pose any direct threat and only induces states of paranoia amongst people within its presence. Although a small number of viewers have reportedly disappeared after viewing SCP-XXXX. However this occurrence is limited.
SCP-XXXX-1 can only manifest when a human views SCP-XXXX for a prolonged period of time, usually around 5-10 minutes. It will begin its manifestation cycle through auditory hallucinations. These consist of personnel hearing voices resembling their own.
The second stage of manifestation is actual visual manifestations (though the entities are not physically manifested) of the entities, the entities will be seen appearing behind the viewer in 3 second intervals. The final stage of manifestation is physical manifestation the entities will physically materialize behind the viewer and will maintain constant eye contact with them through the mirror until the viewer exits the room.
Some notes were discovered along with SCP-XXXX however the meaning and context are vague (see addenda).
Here is an interview of a viewer of SCP-XXXX and their description of their encounter with SCP-XXXX-1:
Interviewed: D-12831
Interviewer: Dr. Leonard
Foreword: This Interview transcript covers D-12831's encounter with SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-1. Dates and times have been removed as the importance of them are not thought to be relevant at this time. The symbol * shall be used to indicate non verbal action(s).
<Begin Log>
Dr. Leonard: Hello, My name is Dr. Leonard. I'm the Lead Researcher of SCP-XXXX and I'm conducting this Interview today to better understand the anomalous effects of this item.
D-12831: Well, I suppose as you… are the interviewer Dr. Leonard you should ask me questions and I will answer *gestures his hand forward implying Dr. Leonard to begin*
Dr. Leonard: Okay, lets start off slow then. What were you first emotional reactions when first viewing SCP-XXXX?
D-12831: I felt… somewhat… sad, like I had uh, just witnessed someone whom I didn't know… die, it was disconcerting to say the least.
Dr. Leonard: I see. Now… were there any other kind of emotional buildups after this?
D-12831: No, not really.
Dr. Leonard: "Not really"? Elaborate, D-12831.
D-12831: Uhm, it was a feeling hard to explain with words, almost like someone was standing right in front of me and staring inside of me, almost as if my reflection wasn't me at all.
Dr. Leonard: Interesting, now It appears that we are running out of time on this interview, so I'm going to ask you two more questions.
D-12831: Go ahead, ask away.
Dr. Leonard: So when SCP-XXXX-1 finally manifested, what did you feel in its presence?
D-12831: At first I felt absolutely terrified, but then I began to feel sorry for it, and it seemed like it was trying to talk to me and tell me what happened to it.
Dr. Leonard: *Quickly writes a note in his Foundation diary and lifts his head up with a sigh* So after leaving the containment room safely, what further emotional reactions did you feel?
D-12831: *Long pause with no response*
Dr. Leonard: I'm going to ask again, what further emotional reactions did you experience upon exiting the containment room safely!?
D-12831: *D-12831 doesn't answer*
Dr. Leonard: Well i suppose that concludes today's interview.
<End Log>
Closing Statement: D-12831 is terminated for "Lack of Cooperation with Foundation Personnel" and Dr. Leonard begins further testing on SCP-XXXX.Testing Logs:
Various testing on this item has occurred and with varying results.
A full list of all the testing logs can be found below5:
- Test XXXX-A - 2/12/18
Subject: D-12958
Procedure: D-12958 was kept in a room with SCP-XXXX for 2 hours blindfolded.
Results: Nothing Anomalous occurred within the time frame.
Analysis: After Test XXXX-A was conducted it has been noted that SCP-XXXX can not begin manifesting the entities if the viewer is unaware that it is viewing the mirror.
- Test XXXX-2 - 1/5/19
Subject: D-3953
Procedure: D-3953 was supplied with a stop watch and ordered to view the mirror for no longer than 5 minutes.
Results: Sounds of disembodied voices resembling the voice of D-3935 was heard but nothing else other than D-3953 experiencing unusual amounts of what the subject deemed "paranoia".
Analysis: Humans viewing the mirror for 5 minutes experience discomfort and hear disembodied voices somewhat resembling their own although exact words could not be made out.
- Test XXXX-3 - 5/9/19
Subject: D-12451 and D-159726
Procedure: D-12451 and D-159726 both entered the room and were instructed to simultaneously view the mirror for approximately 1 hour.
Results: D-12451 and D-159726 both recalled seeing 3 small figures move quickly about the room behind them though their exact features were impossible to confirm.
Analysis: Tests conclude that SCP-XXXX still manifests the entities in the same time frame regardless of viewers.6
Investigation Team Delta-09: Dr. Leonard7
decided to send a small Foundation investigation team into the original discovery point of SCP-XXXX, the team was composed of 5 people, all working under the order of Dr. Leonard.
The team began investigating the origin site at around 9am on 1/4/20 and mostly found old rags and clothes that would of fit young children. The first few weeks of investigation were uneventful mostly, all the team found were broken shards of glass and old stomped out fires.
Investigation Team Delta-09 eventually discovered an old notebook, filled with dates and entries written by a now speculated young child. The team upon this discovery requested a full description of OS-XXXX to be included with SCP-XXXX's document.
The contents of the notebook before and leading up to and the discovery of SCP-XXXX: The contents of the notebook follow the life of a young homeless boy named Charles. He, and his 2 friends are all 5 years old and homeless. they write about the great adventures they are going to embark on when they are older. Then they all end up discussing writing a story about their imagination.
At this point, the notebook suddenly changed to a much darker tone, disturbingly dark for writers of only 5 years. The entries, reproduced below, refer to an old bungalow they come across.
The kids describe the Bungalow as being very dirty and not offering many soft places to sleep, but its the best they are going to do for now. they also add that "There is a strange mirror that is makes us feel weird" which Dr. Leonard has determined to be the kids making contact with SCP-XXXX, as this matches up with the emotional reactions the D-Class all experienced8.
The contents of the notebook after the discovery of SCP-XXXX: The contents within the notebook after the discovery are disorganized, and get a lot harder to read as the children become per-occupied with the mirror. The kids write about the "strange old man" they see behind them through the mirror. They also mention "strange" and "scary" voices coming from the walls once again matching up with the experiences of the D-Class.
The last entry simply reads:
"I'm scared, the weird old mirror man got angry at us, and we are all scared of him" the last entry was marked 21/4/17 the day before the children were discovered9
Dr. Leonard's interview with SCP-XXXX-1: Dr. Leonard was given permission from 05 council members to conduct a direct interview with SCP-XXXX-1 after reading the notebook. The full interview can be found in the collapsible below:
Addendum 1: Transportation Protocol 8-XXXX is a strict set of procedures originally written by Dr. Leonard but subsequently revised by Prof. █████████ for transporting SCP-XXXX from Storage Site-200 to Research Site-45 via helicopter. This set of procedures are listed in full below:
1. Item is to be stored in a titanium box padded out with polystyrene relative to the size of the mirror (approximately 182 centimeters). The titanium is to be precisely 5 millimeters thick. The box is to be locked with a specialised microchip lock which requires 2 personnel to insert their respective cards (unique SCP-XXXX cards have been designated to Prof. █████████ and Dr. Leonard Agent Jacob.
2. The box containing the item is then securely positioned within a Foundation helicopter.
3. The helicopter is to then transport the item to Site-45.
4. Delivery Crew 95 will then proceed to transport the item to its designated chamber within the Site.
Warning: Under regulation XXXX-Alpha10 Failing to follow these procedures to exact order is punishable by imprisonment and/or termination
Addendum 2: Project Probe is an event that shall only be carried out by ITF Reflecti-5 ("Mirror Explorers"), in the event of SCP-XXXX-1 is realized or a potential entity manifests with SCP-XXXX. The Project is a small collection of equipment designed specifically for physical interaction with SCP-XXXX, and any entity it manifests. A full list of the equipment can be found below:
A short range radio receiver
A short range radio transmitter
Various Surveillance equipment (audio and video)
A large Flathead drill
5 Batteries of varying voltage and power
Infrared laser equipment
Dr. Leonard Prof. █████████ is to monitor Project Probe throughout all tests with no exceptions.
Addendum 3: ITF Reflecti-01 is an interior task force organized and commissioned by Dr. Leonard and Prof. █████████ under the idea that SCP-XXXX could manifest SCP-XXXX-1 without any Human viewing the mirror. Though this theory was proven redundant after Test XXXX-███ and thus the task force was decommissioned by Prof. █████████ after Dr. Leonard's imprisonment.
The Interior Task Force was re-commissioned after Prof. █████████ conceived the idea and plausible theory that the item is in fact temporarily disabled instead of being neutralized.
The new primary goal of ITF Reflecti-01 ("Mirror Explorers") is to attempt re-activation of the item, and attempt contact with the entities. The secondary goal is to measure various side effects of the item such as using radio equipment.
Clothing and dress code: The dress code of ITF Reflecti-01 ("Mirror Explorers") consists of the following:
- Trench coat (black colour scheme).
- Black leather gloves
- Gas mask (mandatory when handling SCP-XXXX)
- Large leather boats (black).
