Item #: SCP-6000

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-6000 is to be kept in a windowless containment cell. No security cameras are permitted to be in SCP-6000’s cell at any time and the central door allowing entry to SCP-6000’s cell is to be shut. A visual checkup on SCP-6000 is strictly prohibited, and must instead be conducted through the activation of the cell’s microphone, listening in for the static that SCP-6000 emits. Guards are to pace down the hallway in which its cell is located, periodically listening in for SCP-6000 every 10 minutes exact. In the case that no sound is to be heard, a blindfolded D-Class inmate will be sent in to feel any tangible evidence of SCP-6000’s presence. If the D-Class sent in were to take off the blindfold and come into visual contact with SCP-6000, then its cell is to never be opened until clearance of 25P Projection, or until SCP-6000-A undergoes its cycle. Upon the completion of the cycle, the D-Class’ dead body will be retrieved by two more blindfolded D-Class inmates. In the other separate scenario in which SCP-6000 is not present in its cell. Then the typical containment breach procedures will endure.

Description: SCP-6000 resembles that of a 0.53 x 0.53 meter 1980’s box television resting upon a 0.94 x 0.58 meter stand. SCP-6000 emits nothing but dead air, and all attempts to shut off the constant static have proved futile. SCP-6000 also appears to be mostly unbreakable, with the only part of SCP-6000 with the ability to show the residue of damage (mostly just scratches and small chips) being that of the stand it is perched from. This attribute of SCP-6000 is considered to be its passive phase, with its first and second phases (known only as The Projection Event) being the main source of concern.

The Projection Event occurs when any subject comes into contact through visual means. Whether it be in-person, a photograph, or a recorded video, SCP-6000 will then stray away from its passive static state and tune to a first-person perspective video recording. This recording in general being that of a distant and locked away memory from the person subjected to SCP-6000. 25 percent of the time, the effects of this recorded moment are harmless in solution. In this case, SCP-6000 will playback a fond memory of the subject and may indeed have a positive effect on the mental stability of both the subject and those surrounding within a 10-meter radius. This outcome is known as the “P25 Projection” But, the other 75 percent probability calls for immediate caution. In this case, SCP-6000 will project a memory in question where the subject had wronged another in a drastic way, or when they just simply experienced a traumatic situation. This video affects those that see the screen of SCP-6000 in a negative fashion; mostly through mental degrading. Once the recording is over, SCP-6000 will begin to shake ruthlessly and begin to push through its small screen a distinguished and unique figure.

This figure is known as “SCP-6000-A” and it exactly mimics the visual representation of the wronged and misled person the subject had caused pain to, or that of a physical rendition of the subject’s past fear seen in the specific recording that had been played. This is when SCP-6000 reaches its peak in danger. The generated figure will then propel itself towards the subject of concern, tearing them to shreds until facial identification of the subject would be a far cry. Any person(s) willing to get in the way of SCP-6000-A will be met with a similar fate. Barricades, Gunfire, and immediate contained quarantine of the subject have proved to be an inconvenience. So far, nothing has been able to stop SCP-6000-A from reaching its desired destination. Once SCP-6000-A’s job has been fulfilled, it will return back to the current position of SCP-6000 and then proceed to crawl and twist its body back into the frame of SCP-6000. This occurrence is called the “P75 Projection”

Addendum: “Upon the following tests and experiments we conducted upon SCP-6000, we have come to the conclusion that if a second subject were to accompany another in a later time, then SCP-6000 will not affect them. But, if these two were to enter SCP-6000’s cell simultaneously and come in contact with the object at nearly the same time (give or take a second or two of delay), then SCP-6000 will conjure up two separate memories to project whilst also introducing a second entity as well (SCP-6000-B). There are two tests we have yet to conduct. One of which is that of the appearance of three or more personnel in SCP-6000’s cell. It will be interesting indeed just how many memories SCP-6000 can mashup; how many entities it can create. The second option for testing has yet to be approved by the administration, but the gist of it is that of the testing of animals and other SCPs that are capable of sight. It may also be worthy to hypothesize that if an animal or SCP are incapable to understand the figure that SCP-6000 presents, then will SCP-6000 be able to process correctly?” - Dr. King.

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures:SCP-XXXX-A and -B are to be kept in a 30x30 meter chamber placed in the middle also behind a secondary 5x5 bulletproof glass. Both are to be unplugged unless it is being tested.2 Level-3 Guards are always to be kept outside of the containment chamber. When tested, all personnel observing the test must stay behind the red dotted line 25 meters away from the secondary glass-chamber at all times. While unobserved by humans,4 Cameras are to be monitoring the cell at all times.

Description: SCP-XXXX-A is a classic black arcade machine dated back to 1990.SCP-XXXXs screen possesses minor scratches and the right side possesses a stain which was proved to be "Kool-aid."
The machine lacks any logo, icon, or any type of indication from what company it is.
when turned on, SCP-XXXX-A will greet you with a black screen with a white „press start“ button.
Upon pressing the "A" button on the screen will show up to 10 Humans with their full name as a kind of "character selection".The characters are pixelated versions of the Humans in a 25 m radius upon selecting one of them you will see a pixelated bird perspective version of the world. When you then move your character the corresponding human, which will then be labeled SCP-XXXX-A-1, moves in the same direction. When you act in the game the corresponding person will feel the need to do the same action as if it was their own choosing. This will end when the machine is turned off or when you "pause the game" and press on "back to character selection."
SCP-XXXX-B looks similar to SCP-XXXX-A but in white color and a large slot located on the right side of the Maschiend big enough to fit any kind of game cartridge, CDs, or cards. Upon turning SCP-XXXX-B on You will be greeted with a Black screen with a white "Insert disc" message. When inserting any kind of cartridge into the slot, the screen will turn white and an entity of the game inserted will appear out of the screen into the real world. This entity, which will then be labeled
SCP-XXXX-B-1 will behave like it would behave in the game ignoring the physics of the real world and corresponding to their own. The entity will disappear if it's more than 75m away from the person who inserted the cartridge. When the entity disappears the cartridge will pop back out of the slot.

Addendum-SCP-XXXX-A-1.1:
D-4476 was armed with a pistol and put into a 5x5 m bulletproof glass chamber.
Researcher Dr.Clover who was instructed to make D-4476 shoot the gun turned on SCP-XXXX-A and selected D-4476 now labeled SCP-XXXX-A-1 at this point SCP-XXXX-A-1 started talking.
"Are you guys fucking stupid? You put me through torture with all these monsters and now? Now you give me a gun??"
Dr.Clover started to move the joystick.SCP-XXXX-A-1 corresponded by walking around the chamber.
"You dumbasses really gave me a gun. You
Dr.Clover pressed the "B" button multiple times. deserve to die with all the torture you put me through!"
SCP-XXXX-A-1 the shot around him trying to break the glass-chamber.
Dr.Clover then turned off the machine and unplugged it.
D-4476 dropped the pistol and was put back in his cell. The aggression he showed during the test was gone.

SCP-XXXX, currently self-containing.

Special Containment Procedures: Due to the large number of SCP-XXXX instances distributed worldwide and the very nature of the anomaly, it is currently impossible to contain SCP-XXXX. Following extensive research into subjects exposed to SCP-XXXX and the constant and continuous monitoring of an SCP-XXXX instance, SCP-XXXX has been deemed safe to remain self-containing as it poses no threat and greatly improves the mental state and morale of any subject who interacts with it.

Foundation webcrawlers are to routinely search any online forums and message boards for any mentions of SCP-XXXX and they are to be analysed to better ascertain the nature of their distribution and further pinpoint the location of SCP-XXXX for further analysis. Tracker chips are to be shipped out to all international branches of Site-85 and sites to be further redistributed to all known subjects of SCP-XXXX. All sites are to then further monitor their respective countries' discovered instances. Any reports of SCP-XXXX manifestations that are captured by security camera feeds, photographs or alike are to be investigated, and all footage relating to SCP-XXXX such as news reports, videos or similar are to be confiscated or taken down. Should an SCP-XXXX instance manifest in public, MTF-Tau-87 ("Worldwide Hugs") are to be dispatched and all secondhand witnesses among civilian populace are to be traced down and amnesticized.

Should any instances of SCP-XXXX manifest to any foundation personnel, they are to report to their site's respective containment specialists for specific containment procedures. A list of specialised containment procedures for all instances of SCP-XXXX belonging to foundation personnel can be accessed below:

Description: SCP-XXXX is a toy that manifests approximately an hour after one's expiration, often to the deceased's closest family members and friends. It has no fixed appearance but generally appears as a stuffed animal or doll, generally taking the form of the deceased's toy from their adolescence. Testing confirms that SCP-XXXX’s composition and physical appearance are non-discernible from similar non-sapient toys.

SCP-XXXX exhibits signs of sapience, is able to move on its’ own accord and communicate via a range of gestures or writing. It has been observed to have heightened reflexes, display fine motor skills and is capable of holding items. It also has an unexplained knowledge of a subject’s likes and dislikes.

SCP-XXXX is also capable of demanifesting and remanifesting itself, most commonly when it is removed from a subject's immediate vicinity, which only stops when it deems the subject to have gained closure over their loved one's death. It also does so when a subject actively attempts to harm themselves or experience significant emotional distress. Upon the complete destruction of SCP-XXXX, it will remanifest next to its' subject.

Upon manifestation, SCP-XXXX has been observed in its behaviour to express affection by bringing small snacks, tokens, etc., cooking simple dishes of the subject’s preference as well as forms of hugs and pats. It is also able to produce physical childhood pictures of the deceased's past, even when they were previously destroyed. While it has its’ own conscience, it may follow orders given to it by subjects if it deems it necessary for them to move on from their family member's or friend's death. SCP-XXXX also exhibits mannerisms and characteristics similar to the deceased.

SCP-XXXX is also able to produce a schedule, identified as SCP-XXXX-1, for subjects who do not show a noticeable improvement to their mental state or morale, actively attempt to harm themselves, refuse to accept SCP-XXXX's help and advice, or neglect their physical health and hygiene due to grief. Upon creation, subjects will immediately follow all events that are written on SCP-XXXX-1. However, SCP-XXXX will go through obvious signs of emotional distress upon SCP-XXXX-1's creation (see Addendum XXXX.Y).

Prolonged exposure to SCP-XXXX will cause subjects' mental state and morale to improve greatly and gain closure faster than people who are not exposed to SCP-XXXX.

Research has indicated that SCP-XXXX instances are more likely to appear to individuals who:
· Are parents/guardians of the deceased.
· Are siblings of the deceased.
· Are close friends of the deceased.
· Have lost their child/sibling/friend due to an accident, long-time illness or suicide
· Have lost their significant other due to an accident, long-time illness or suicide

Discovery: After Junior Researcher Charlie Upston's death on 20/11/2020, an instance of SCP-XXXX, taking the form of a teddy bear (picture above) manifested in Junior Researcher Lilith Agnes' sleeping quarters. SCP-XXXX was sent to the Anomalous Item Research Lab following Incident XXXX.1 for further testing and research.

VIDEO LOG OF INCIDENT XXXX.1

DATE: 20/11/2020

[BEGIN LOG]

10.30 am: SCP-XXXX manifests on Dr. Agnes' bed.

3.45 pm: Dr. Agnes enters her sleeping quarters, collapses onto the floor and begins crying. SCP-XXXX climbs down the bed and rubs her back. Dr. Agnes: Why? Why was it him? Why couldn't it have been me? Why couldn't it have been me?

4.16 pm: Dr. Agnes composes herself, reaches for her phone and messages somebody, presumably Dr. Sam. She gets up and walks to her closet, looks through the drawers and pulls a belt out.

4.18 pm: Dr. Agnes fashions it into a noose, ties it to a ceiling light and closes her eyes. She braces herself, places the noose over her head and steps off the bed. SCP-XXXX immediately rushes into the bathroom, breaks a mirror and grabs a shard of broken glass. It jumps onto her head and cuts the belt. Dr. Agnes screams as she drops to the floor and resumes crying.

4.20 pm: Two on-site medical personnel enter her sleeping quarters and sedate her. After taking her out of her sleeping quarters, SCP-XXXX demanifests and manifests on top of her.

[END LOG]

Notes: The medical personnel were called in by Dr. Sam after his conversation with Researcher Agnes. Their text conversation is logged below.

Agnes99: I'm sorry, Dr. Sam, but I can't do this anymore.

samuel: Agnes?

Agnes99: I can't live with myself knowing he's dead because of me.

Agnes99: Thank you for trying. Goodbye.

samuel: Agnes, please.

samuel: Come to my office.

samuel: We'll talk this through.

Addendum XXXX.1: Following the manifestation of, and further research into SCP-XXXX, an archived Reddit thread on r/nostupidquestions was discovered, with targets of the anomaly detailing their experiences with their own instances of SCP-XXXX. At the time of posting, it reached 6.4 thousand upvotes and stayed in hot for two days. The thread is posted below:

Title: Have any of you saw your child's soft toy come to life?

Posted by: u/octopusfan65

Posted on: 9/12/2019

Post contents: I'm not sure if it's just my imagination or not so I just wanted to make sure.

u/annielee2003: Obligatory not my child, but a keychain belonging to my boyfriend. I found it on my hospital bed after a motorcycle accident we got into claimed his life. It was just a little pink toy bear that he attached to his keys, but fuck, he treasured it like it was his child. I didn't understand why he loved it so much, but after his death, I cared so much for it as it was my last memory of him.

From what I can see from others here, I don't think I was tripping or hallucinating from grief when I saw it start moving and tried talking to me. I'll try to keep it short but it kept talking to me, encouraged me to see his family to cry together, and even shared its own memories with him, with me. It actually helped turn a horrible memory to a bittersweet and melancholic one.

Typing this thru my tears rn, I love and miss you every day Richard.

u/octopusfan65: My condolences. May he rest in peace.

u/darrenb: Rest in peace.

u/katiechan76: Sending my love to you. RIP.

u/darrenb: Yes. It happened after my daughter's death. It was a small white bird which she loved so much and took everywhere.

It appeared on my workbench but I only noticed it when I saw her body at the hospital. It appeared after I started crying and stayed with me through the whole service. I probably sound stupid but if it wasn't for it, I would have spiralled further into depression. I still have it with me, it's on my desk looking at me right now as I write this comment.

I hope wherever she is now, she is flying alongside the birds she loves so much. Daddy loves you Holly.

Our protections failed then
If we could go back

We would change them all
We could have been more cautious
Fixed everything loose

But now it's too late
All the world has fallen now
Below the waist-line

Chaos runs amok
Humanity has lost first

My critique:

SCP-XXXX-1 before observation by the SCP foundation

Unless its very important, I its better to leave out the part where the Foundation didn't observe him. I don't think you need to mention that, as the all reader needs to know is who that person is.

The family of SCP-XXXX-1 has restricted knowledge of the SCP foundation and SCP-XXXX-1's current state of mind.

I don't think his family would need to know he has been anomalously affected? Why does the Foundation need to let them know, anyway? After reading the description, I honestly don't think the Foundation needs to tell some random family about an anomaly; at the very least, interview them about it, and then memory wipe them.

The document containing SCP-XXXX is not available to any foundation personnel as the long-term psychological effects of SCP-XXXX are not known.

The Foundation knows what its affects are, yet they won't tell staff what it is because their not certain what the prolonged effects are? Can't they just list the effects, and add in more as time goes on?

Updated Containment Procedures: If SCP-XXXX-1's mental state deteriorates any further, he is to be moved to a humanoid containment cell in Site 19. SCP-XXXX-1's family is to be amnesticized and informed that SCP-XXXX-1 went on a world comedy tour.

This doesn't feel like updated containment procedures, it feels more like "Just in-case something happens". If they wanted to put him in a containment cell, why didn't they do that sooner? Also, considering the Foundation just canceled Gaffigan, then tell them he went on a world wide tour, I don't think they'll buy it. Especially if he's famous enough to earn a world wide tour. His fans, and family would know that's bullshit before a week passes.

humanoid containment cell in Site 19.

at Site-19.

My biggest problem with the containment procedures is that the Foundation aren't trying to help gaffigan with his mental issue. They've helped other SCPs with their mental issues, why not this guy? In-fact, its smarter to give him help than just monitor him, and that's it.

Onto the description:

SCP-XXXX-1 is a comedic performer, Jim Gaffigan, currently residing in a New York apartment. SCP-XXXX-1 fell under the effects of SCP-XXXX while viewing it.

Remove this bit. You already told us its Jim, and he was affected whilst viewing it.

The re-lived traumatic incident is yet unknown as SCP-XXXX-1 is currently unable to properly communicate with foundation staff.

That's disappointing because since this article is about Jim's trauma, I think it would be better to make so the reader knows what it is? Cuz right now, all I have is a blank image. If the Foundation can't get him to tell them what happened, maybe ask his family or friends? The Foundation is better than this.

The foundation intercepted this call and dispatched MTF-Alpha-5 ("Honour guard").

SCP-XXXX was inside the document containing SCP-XXXX-1's new script.

Can you at least tell me how it even got there?

What did the MTF do?

The interview log bored me as well. The Foundation asked her one question, and concluded their done? Didn't even bother asking where the image come from, if he had enemies, what other anomalous stuff have been happening, or how he was before the thing popped up?

Overall, the article feels disappointing. I feel it'd be much stronger if you went into the detail regarding what caused his traumatic experience, fixed the containment procedures, and add a narrative to it. At the very least, a light narrative.

Good luck, Cole!

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-A act as a pair of self-containing anomalies, thus requiring containment efforts to contain each anomaly without disrupting any hiemal-class self-regulation effects. Audio recordings, sheet-music, published scores and videotaped performances have been removed by Foundation webcrawler program Alpha-19 ("Stokowski's Baton.") Through censorship of public information relating to Alma Łupińska's work, public perception has changed to regarding Łupińska's second symphony (SCP-XXXX) as a lost piece of music. A death certificate and will have been forged for Łupińska, dating her death to October 17th, 1922; Łupińska's will specifies her wish to be cremated, thus negating the need for a physical cadaver to stand in for Łupińska.

The original SCP-XXXX manuscript, recovered by Agent Odette Schöenberg, has been stored within a moisture-proof containment system. Copies have been made for purposes of review, practice, and observation. Scheduled preformances of SCP-XXXX are to occur within Site-61's auditorium. POI-2138 ("Ewa Łupińska") is self-containing within her apartment. Certain unknown circumstances prevent Łupińska from physically leaving her apartment, thus removing any need for Foundation-based custody.

“We got reports that there was an explosion in the waiting room. For all D-Classes, please evacuate ASAP!“

A bomb exploded. While D-Class is being evacuated, a second explosion occurs at the eastern security tower and collapses it.

Security is tight as all D-Classes are gathered in the canteen. Suddenly, a third explosion occurred at the helipad and caused a scene in the canteen.

“There were at least 3 explosions. We'll be evacuating you now. SCP will also be rescued, please don't panic and listen to the officers' instructions.“ -intercomms

5 hours later, the evacuation was stopped due to the fourth explosion. Later, it was also said that all SCPs had been evacuated. What do terrorists think? Why are they doing this?

Jerry sat down at his desk and turned his computer on. Time to write his own SCP. He already got two Greenlights on the Ideas Critique Forum and he was sure, his draft would be loved as well. He startet typing.

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Keter Apollyon

Containment Procedures:

Jerry paused. He had thought about the description a lot, but has forgotten about the containment procedures. ‘Well’, he thought, ‘this can’t be too hard’.

Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX cannot be contained at this moment. Mobile Task Force Jot-1 (“Devil Hunters”) has to search for any possible location of origin for SCP-XXXX. If one is to be found the entire area around it is to be sealed off to the public and a research team is to be sent to the location immediately. Until the discovery of this location (if one should exist) the aforementioned MTF squad is to search for any subjects displaying symptoms of stage 4 of SCP-XXXX. These subjects are to be immediately terminated. Since almost every human being on Earth shows symptoms of stage 1, no subject with symptoms of stage 3 or lower are to be terminated. Subjects with stage 3 symptoms, however, are to be constantly monitored to ensure a quick termination in the event of a transformation to stage 4. (See Addendum XXXX-02 for more details)

For being the first SCP he ever wrote this was pretty good, Jerry thought. Not perfect, but he would fix these parts later, when he was finished with everything else. He went on to the description.

Description: SCP-XXXX describes a phenomenon commonly referred to as ‘the Evil’. Testing revealed it to concern solely the brain. No physical substance or location in the brain could be found that causes SCP-XXXX.

SCP-XXXX’s anomalous effect consists of creating the will of performing actions that are seen as morally reprehensible by the general public2. The strength of this compulsion is relative to the stage in which SCP-XXXX is currently in. The researchers were able to identify four stages. These are as follows:

  • Stage 1: The compulsion is only shown by the subject when provoked. These compulsions usually lead to the subject tripping someone up and similar actions. Actions which cause them to appear include but are not limited to physical violence, repeated verbal abuse and bragging. The subjects can be calmed down very easily and show no aggression. When unprovoked they do not feel any compulsion.
  • Stage 2: The subjects tell lies to or about other people, these are, however, often white lies. The subjects react in 33% of the cases with violence to minor provocations and can only be calmed down through isolation for several minutes up to an hour.
  • Stage 3: The subjects steal and lie with the intention of provoking negative consequences for the person that has been lied to. They react in 80% of the cases with violence and need several hours to days to calm down. There are examples of unprovoked violence towards random persons by subjects in stage 3.
  • Stage 4: All subjects in stage 4 perform actions strongly regarded as wrong, such as murder or rape. They cannot be calmed down. While trying to contain subjects in stage 4, the Foundation had ███ casualties. This led to the current containment procedures.

Jerry leaned back in his seat and looked at his text. He was proud of himself. If this does not get positive reviews nothing would. He will probably be a legend in the SCP community after posting his article. They will scream for more but even though Jerry had a ton of other ideas he would wait until the suspense reached its peak. Suddenly he heard a voice in his head: ‘Don’t get too excited. There is still much improvement. I need to be written perfectly’. What the hell? He must be getting tired. His mind was playing tricks on him. It was bedtime anyway. Jerry would continue tomorrow.

That night, he had a strange dream. Jerry was on a plain field in the middle of nowhere. It was midnight and the moonlight seemed to shine on a small spot a few meters in front of him. Jerry could swear he heard footsteps but he could not find the source. All of a sudden a shadow stepped on the lighted spot. Jerry could not believe his eyes. What was that? ‘You should recognize me’, the shadow said in a voice both resembling that of a man and a woman at the same time. Apparently it could read his thoughts. ‘I am your creation after all.’ Jerry was startled. ‘My creation? What do you mean?’ He could hear a sound what must be a laugh. ‘You will find out soon enough. Now get back to work. My patience is not infinite.’

Jerry woke up to the sun shining on his face. He looked at his phone. It was ten o’clock already. Usually he woke up at around eight.
He shrugged and got to his computer. Maybe his body just needed to rest a little longer. When he opened the document for his SCP, he thought of the dream. It was probably only a creation of his imagination. His SCP seemed to left its marks on him. Which did not prevent him from putting his hand on the keyboard and from starting to write.

Further research conducted on SCP-XXXX revealed that it was present in the subjects since the birth. All newborn babies were in stage 1 of SCP-XXXX. At the age of three symptoms of stage 2 could be monitored. The onset of each stage differs from subject to subject and does not even have to happen. 23 percent of the entirety of subjects stay in stage 1 for their whole life. 64 percent display symptoms of stage 2. 12 percent are currently in stage 3 and one percent in stage 4. The number of people in stage 4 increases for a reason yet unknown. Researchers predict that there will be an IK-Class Collapse of Global Civilization Scenario or even a XK-Class End-of-the-World Scenario in the year ████. Preventing these scenarios is considered level 1 priority.

The transformation to higher stages is usually random; however, it can and will occur if the person is physically attacked by another person, independent of their level. To date, a transformation to a lower stage has never happened and is considered impossible.

Jerry heard a grumbling in his stomach. Time to eat breakfast … at 1 p.m. What? This can not be right. You can not take three hours for just two paragraphs. Ok, he might have dazed off for some time without noticing. Well, Jerry would just eat lunch then. A sandwich will be enough to last him until evening.

After he was finished eating, he continued writing. He still wanted to include the description of the discovery and an interview.

Discovery: The Foundation suspects that SCP-XXXX has existed since the creation of the humans. Documents about actions which were probably related to the anomalous effects of SCP-XXXX date back to the 33rd century BCE. To date, no subject could be found which was the first one to show symptoms of SCP-XXXX. Finding this subject or a location of origin is considered top level priority, after preventing an IK-Class or XK-Class scenario.

Jerry was excited for the interview. He was as good as finished with the article and that within a day. He hoped his estimation of the date of the documents was right. He googled it, but the Internet could never be trusted.
'You are right about the documents, but I existed way earlier. I was even in the first human which ever existed. Those were good times. It was just as easy back then as now to spread across the world.' Jerry ran a shiver down his spine. There was this voice again. After finishing his article, he would have to go to the doctor. It was probably nothing, but still.

Addendum XXXX-01: Interview
The following is an interview between Dr. Hayweather and a subject in stage 4 (hereafter designated as SCP-XXXX-01), which is restrained to a chair. SCP-XXXX-01 was previously Dr. Gerry Page, a Foundation researcher in Site-██.

Interviewed: SCP-XXXX-01

Interviewer: Dr. Hayweather

<Begin Log, 03/04/20██, 12:33:33>

Dr. Hayweather: Good afternoon, SCP-XXXX-01.

SCP-XXXX-01: Stop calling me that or you will regret it.

Dr. Hayweather: You are in no position to make demands, SCP-XXXX-01.

[SCP-XXXX-01 angrily screamed and tried to break its restraints to no avail. He then stared at Dr. Hayweather for several moments.]

SCP-XXXX-01: You may have the upper hand now, Doctor, but that will change soon.

Dr. Hayweather: Would you please elaborate on that?

SCP-XXXX-01: [Laughing] You are funny, Doctor. You expect me to tell you everything just because I can't move. Well, you are wrong.

Dr. Hayweather: Then I have no other choice than stopping this inter-

[SCP-XXXX-01 suddenly shakes. Its eyes move and show the white side for a moment before returning to their normal position. It opens its mouth and speaks with a deep voice, which does not belong to SCP-XXXX-01.]

SCP-XXXX-01: I like you, Doctor. So I will give you a little hint. I am in you. Haven't you noticed the anger when you see your wife who cheated on you? Haven't you noticed the envy for the promotions of your colleagues while you rot here and speak with boring anomalies? I know you. I am a part of you. But not only you. I am a part of everyone in the world.

Dr. Hayweather: What should we do in your opinion?

SCP-XXXX-01: Surrender. You can't escape the Evil. You can't escape me. I was there from the beginning and I will be there in the end. Don't make it harder than it is. You can't do anything. Remember my words for they are the last I will ever say.

[At this moment, SCP-XXXX-01 fell to the ground and was later confirmed dead.]

<End Log, 03/04/20██, 12:35:52>

Jerry stopped writing. That was not what he intended to write. The voice in his head dictated him the words. Strange. He did not care too much, though, as the interview turned out to be way better than he thought. Now he wanted to write a last excerpt from Dr. Hayweather to make a final plot twist.

Addendum XXXX-02: Note

If we believe SCP-XXXX-01 or SCP-XXXX, who presumably spoke through the subject, the situation is worse than we thought. We cannot contain every human being on earth because it is affected by an SCP. SCP-2000 seems to be ineffective, since SCP-XXXX still exists after multiple applications. Therefore I request a reclassification to Apollyon. I also propose the creation of a project to counter the effects of SCP-XXXX. I would call the project "PNEUMA". As I see it, this could be the only chance against the SCP.
Dr. Hayweather

PNEUMA? Jerry did not even know what that meant. This was getting too strange. He should just delete the entire draft and think of something new. Maybe a Joke-SCP would be refreshing and with less mysterious events. Then Jerry gasped. He saw pictures flooding through his mind, pictures from times long before he was born. All depicted scenes of violence. He startet to understand. He was not writing about something fictional. This was the truth. The SCP Foundation existed. Jerry needed to do something. He needed to warn them. Maybe Project PNEUMA could really help defeating this SCP, whatever it was.

Jerry stood up and ran outside. He screamed: "The SCP Foundation is real!" Then he moved through the whole city and screamed these words until his voice could not be heard anymore. When he was pulled into a back alley by two men, he thought: 'Finally. I will save the world.' He felt a needle injecting something in his arm and the last thing he heard was: "Get this guy to the nearest facility. Then we can decide what to do with him. He has got half the city out on the street. Come on!"

Jerry fell asleep with a smile on his face.
