SCP-XXXX upon first discovery by Foundation personnel
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept at Bio Site-95 in an airtight, stainless steel containment cell measuring 32m x 32m x 40m at all times.
SCP-XXXX's containment cell is to be cleaned of spore build-up on a bi-weekly basis by assigned personnel equipped with full level-4 hazmat gear.
The entrance to SCP-XXXX's containment is to consist of an airlock door system with an in-built fungicidal decontamination shower. Personnel must use the decontamination shower before leaving the containment area in order to avoid spore spread. Failure to do this will result in immediate disciplinary action.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an organic humanoid creature measuring approximately 30.48 meters in height, with a cephalic region resembling a mushroom of the Amanita pantherina species. The creature possesses a light brown convex cap with raised scales and free, white gills.
SCP-XXXX has a body resembling that of a human skeleton. Tissue samples have determined that its structure is composed of its own stalk material and the thorax of the creature is composed of the ring of the fungus. The creature also does not appear to have any facial features, however it reacts to visual and auditory stimuli. The means in which SCP-XXXX uses to see and hear is currently unknown.
SCP-XXXX constantly emits white spores. When these spores are inhaled, it results in spontaneous respiratory arrest. Death occurs within 3 minutes in most cases.
When approached by a human, SCP-XXXX will crouch down in front of them. This was originally believed to be a hostile stance, SCP-XXXX attempting to get its spores closer to the subject in order to induce symptoms quicker. In reality, this stance is an attempt on SCP-XXXX's part to appear less threatening to humans by reducing its stature.
Addendum XXXX-A, Discovery:
SCP-XXXX was discovered by the Foundation on 22/02/2020 after being sighted at a National Park in south-eastern California. Any civilians present were immediately administered with class-A amnestics. The 18 discovered civillian victims were reported as suicides to their families and no autopsies took place on the bodies.
Addendum XXXX-B, Test log:
Date: 29/02/2020
Test XXXX-001: A laboratory mouse contained in a standard barred rodent cage was placed in SCP-XXXX's containment cell in order to observe the effects of the spores on non-human creatures.
Results: The mouse was unharmed. An interesting observation, however, is how interested in the animal SCP-XXXX appeared to be, not moving its head away from the cage and seemingly watching it intently for the full 60 minutes.
Date: 15/04/2020
Test XXXX-002: D-2304 was introduced to SCP-XXXX's containment to collect tissue for microscopic analysis. D-2304 was wearing level-2 hazmat gear.
Results: Due to the sheer amount of spores SCP-XXXX produces, some of the saturated air managed to bypass D-2304's hazmat gear. D-2304 suffered respiratory arrest and expired exactly 3 minutes after exposure.
Notice: Following this test, all personnel entering SCP-XXXX's containment cell must be equipped with level-4 hazmat gear. - Site-95 Director
Addendum XXXX-C, Test 003:
Date: 22/06/2020
Test XXXX-003: Dr. Zaretsky has suggested using biodata sonification to observe whether or not microcurrent fluctuations occur in SCP-XXXX as they do in non-anomalous living organisms.
Results: The electrodes to SCP-XXXX's feet were successful attached without difficulty. Once the biodata sonification device was turned on, almost immediately, microcurrent fluctuations were detected.
However, alongside the expected noises that were produced, a deep pitched, slightly static voice was audible. This voice stated the following: "Nature…is…friend… Nature…is…friend…why?…"
Addendum XXXX-D, Interview Log:
Date: 24/06/2020
Interviewed: [SCP-XXXX]
Interviewer: [Dr. Mabel Zaretsky, Senior Researcher and Mycologist at Site-95.]
Foreword: During this interview, Dr. Zaretsky will be in a level-4 hazmat suit. SCP-XXXX has been attached to the biodata sonification device without incident.
<Begin Log, >
Zaretsky: -Is it on? Sorry, I'm not used to this newer tape recorder… is it- oh, it's working. Good…
Ahem. Hello, XXXX, my name is Dr. Zaretsky and I will be conducting this interview today. Please can you indicate if you understand me?
SCP-XXXX: …understanding…
Zaretsky: Okay, perfect. Can you tell me where you came from?
SCP-XXXX: …Nature…
Zaretsky: um… I'm going to need specifics… you were discovered walking around a National Park, and you seemingly popped out of nowhere.
SCP-XXXX: …Nature… is… friend… Nature… is… mother… grew… from… mother…
Zaretsky: Right… so you grew. But why? What we are trying to find out, XXXX is why a 100ft mushroom suddenly appeared and started walking around.
SCP-XXXX: …Why… hurt… mother…?
Zaretsky: S-sorry?
SCP-XXXX: …Nature…is…friend… human…dislike… nature…?
Zaretsky: I like nature. Why do you ask?
SCP-XXXX: …Mother… is… sick…
Zaretsky: Are you referring to climate change?
SCP-XXXX: … mother… is… changing?… yes…mother… is… sick…why…hurt…mother…? Nature…love…human…
Zaretsky: is that why you use your spores to harm humans?
SCP-XXXX: …unintentional… love… human…
Zaretsky: Unintentional? Are you saying you don't control your own spores?
SCP-XXXX: …correct… love… human…
Zaretsky: Okay… but you just said we hurt nature.. or mother, whichever it is. Why would you love us if we-
[SCP-XXXX talks over Zaretsky]
SCP-XXXX: …forgiveness… human…is…friend…
Zaretsky: um… well yes, of course we're your… friends. we don't want to hurt you, XXXX. In fact, one of our goals is to protect.
SCP-XXXX: …protect…?… apologies… human… failed…
Zaretsky: … Are you aware of something we don’t know about?
SCP-XXXX: …friend…please… protect… mother…
<End Log>
Closing Statement: Although SCP-XXXX's speech is very broken, from what we can decipher it is clear that it does not have malicious intentions as originally thought. I have submitted a request to authorize further interviews with SCP-XXXX. - Dr. Zaretsky
Incident Log XXXX-001: Upon concluding the interview, SCP-XXXX attempted to pick up Dr. Zaretsky. Zaretsky reacted to this with a shriek, which appeared to startle XXXX, causing it to release its grip and drop her approximately 15ft.
XXXX did not attempt to do this again and Zaretsky was able to get into the decontamination shower room, where infirmary staff were able to safely retrieve her.
Zaretsky was treated for a broken left wrist, fractures in her left ankle, left arm and left elbow and some other minor sprain injuries, but was otherwise okay. She is expected to be able to return to work within 6 weeks.

Interviewer: [Dr. Danielle Baker, Researcher and Botanist at Site-95]
Interviewed: [SCP-XXXX]
Foreword: SCP-XXXX has sat in the same place in its containment cell since incident XXXX-001 occurred. Dr. Baker has been equipped with a device that will emit a sudden noise if SCP-XXXX gets within 1m of it.
<begin log>
Dr. Baker: XXXX, tell me in your own words what happened yesterday.
SCP-XXXX: …human…where…friend…?
Dr. Baker: In a hospital bed. And I'd like to know why. Now.
SCP-XXXX: …love… friend… held… friend… apologies…
Dr. Baker: That's not an explanation, XXXX! We want to know, why! Why would you do that to Mabel after talking about love and friends and all that bullshit for h-
[Baker is cut off by the supervisor in her ear piece.]
Supervisor: Doctor, enough. It's an interview not an interrogation.
SCP-XXXX: …unintentional…! apologies…! apologies… many… apologies…! friend… nature… loves…! Friend… forgives?
Dr. Baker: [sighs] Lucky for you, Zaretsky’s more forgiving than I am. She was sat there in the damn bed asking if you were ok whilst they were fixing up her arm. She'll be back after she’s healed, I bet. So, you're saying this was an accident, correct?
SCP-XXXX: …Correct… apologies… human…
Dr. Baker: Good. That’s all I needed. Any final comment before I leave?
SCP-XXXX: Human… protect… friend… please…
Dr. Baker: … I will.
<End Log>
Closing Statement: SCP-XXXX has stated that incident XXXX-001 was an accident and has apologised. As Zaretsky has also stated it seemed unintentional, and SCP-XXXX did not attempt the same behaviour again, there is sufficient evidence that this is the case. No further action is needed on this matter. - Dr. Baker
Date: 20/08/2020
Interviewer: [Dr. Zaretsky, Senior Researcher and Mycologist at Site-95]
Interviewed: [SCP-XXXX]
Foreword: Dr. Zaretsky has recovered from incident XXXX-001. After psychological evaluation and a physical assessment, she is now safe to continue research on SCP-XXXX.
<Begin Log>
SCP-XXXX: …Friend…!
Dr. Zaretsky: Hi, XXXX. Its been a while since our last-
[Zaretsky is cut off by XXXX]
SCP-XXXX: …friend…apologies… unintentional… hurt… friend…
Dr. Zaretsky: You've already been forgiven, but… um… I really need to ask you these questions now, okay? (This suit isn't the most comfortable…)
SCP-XXXX: …Forgiven…yes…
Dr. Zaretsky: Thank you, now… last time, you spoke of "mother". What do you mean when you say that?
SCP-XXXX: … Mother… is… friend… Mother… is… water… air… land… Mother… is… nature… nature… is… Mother… Mother is… home…
Dr. Zaretsky: Okay, so that does mean Earth, then… and, how is "Mother" sick?
SCP-XXXX: …Mother… is… coughing… burning… freezing… drowning… shaking…
Dr. Zaretsky: And is that why you grew? Because of climate ch- "Mother" being sick?
SCP-XXXX: …grew… to… tell… friends… "save… Mother"… many… humans… but… few… friends…
<End Log>
Closing Statement: Not only is SCP-XXXX capable of retaining long term memories, but seems to have a conscience and understanding of human emotions. SCP-XXXX confirmed our suspicions that "Mother" or "Nature" is how it refers to Earth, and in turn, the sickness it describes is how it refers to climate change. No issues occurred this time when leaving the containment cell. - Dr. Zaretsky.

Item #: SCP-9068
Object Class: Keter
Clearance Level: Level 5
Special Containment Procedures: Scp-9068 is to be kept in a standard containment with a foundation guard active within the containment. Scp-9068 produces a radiation called "MM-B334", this radiation is very hot, forcing people to get away as far as possible, Foundation personnel that has a clearance level of 5 or higher are allowed to enter Scp-9068's containment but will be monitored by a guard. Foundation personnel that left the containment has to take a pill that contains Dupixent. This will interrupt kill the effects of Scp-9068. Due to Scp-9068's powerful effects, the 05 has take a daily visit to monitor the Scp's activity. There is a gas lever beside Scp-9068's chamber door incase of a containment breach.
As of right now, the 05's visit is canceled due to MM-B334.
Description: Scp-9068 is a humanoid entity, approximately 5.3 feet tall, its body shows no sign of pigmentation besides black. Scp-9068 is very hostile to all humans and animals, it will either rip apart or strangulate the victim, Scp-9068 regenerates very fast and has human intelligence, Scp-9068 produces a radiation called “MM-B334”. This radiation produces
intense heat making the person leave or run away as far as possible. This radiation makes the walls melt due to the intense heat it produces, making Scp-9068 very hard to contain. it is stated that Scp-9068 can produce tentacle-like structures to attack any personnel within the 2.3 radius. Scientists use ELO-IID electromagnetic supports to prevent from Scp-9068's tentacle-like structures. Scp-9068 seems to show allergic reaction to gas. Scp-9068's skin dissolves when in contact with gas.

Walter enjoying his favorite bone toy.
Name: Walter
Species: Canis lupus familiaris x Canis lupus familiaris (Husky and Shepherd mix)
Primary Caretaker: Terrestial Team, James Teobalt
Diet: Dog kibble
Housed: Wilson's Wildlife Centre, Enclosure 63
Walter is a young puppy who suffers from separation anxiety. He whines uncontrollably when not with a person to keep him company. His whining can reach very high levels (up to 110 decibels, which should be impossible for a dog) of sound when he is feeling lonely! Poor guy. He almost made a member's ears bleed and I have to be with him every waking second.
I have noticed that he is really affectionate with people and desires to be at one's side. The strangest thing he does is that he softly bites down on your finger and pulls you where he would like you to follow him to. It is usually to a soft surface such as a couch. Walter also has small dual claws at the sides of all four paws.
He enjoys playing with toys and will consider small objects within his sight to be toys too! He just cannot get enough of them. A toy will keep him busy just in case you'd have to leave the room. This has really helped him practice being alone now and then. We leave him alone for times longer than the last so he can finally be calm.
Walter's original name was Cumulus. This was a mouthful to say so we changed it to what it is now: Walter! Walter and his family (his mother and father, and two other siblings) were surrendered to an animal shelter in Texas where they were taken care of until given homes. Walter, whenever left in his cage alone, would start to cry at a high pitch. We noticed due to many complaints and I was the one to take Walter in.
Here is Walter trying to get some rest on the car ride back
Special Needs and Accommodations!
Walter's favorite toy is a fake triple ended bone. His enclosure includes a small cushion and some toys so that he can both sleep and enjoy himself. It also includes a small bed so that I can watch over him at night. Walter has to be accompanied at all times. We wouldn't want him feeling lonely. He loves to eat and can easily be "bribed" with treats!
The people up top deemed Walter non-anomalous today since his separation anxiety has improved. I am so very proud of the progress we have made! Adoption papers have been signed and he is being given to a very lucky family in Wisconsin.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in storage at site-19, no further requirements are needed.
Following incident-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a secure containment locker at Site-19 with supervision of at least one security staff. Access to SCP-XXXX requires authorization from Level 3 staff and supervision of at least two security staff. Items created by SCP-XXXX are to be placed back inside its pockets or, if unable to, stored when testing is complete.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a medium sized long coat with a brown body and light brown trims, reaching down to the calves. Inside is a tag with a symbol depicting a ghost wearing a wizard hat.
Its anomalous effects manifest upon wearing it, Whereupon a disembodied male voice will offer a deal to the wearer through telepathy. Should it be accepted, the voice will instruct the subject to reach into a pocket, wherein their desired belonging will materialize. If denied, it will behave equally to a non-anomalous coat.
Current information regarding SCP-XXXX's effect is as follows:
- Items created by SCP-XXXX are clones of the original in its current state; being able to create unlimited amounts of the same.
- SCP-XXXX may create up to 7 simultaneous items, any attempt to create more will remove the earliest instance.
- If the item is too large it will be re-sized to fit SCP-XXXX's pocket, returning to its original size upon exiting.
- Any modifications applied to the clone will affect the original item. The inverse is true as well.
- [DATA LOST]
Additionally, subjects who have accepted the deal may "switch" with SCP-XXXX at any point afterwards. SCP-XXXX's belongings may include anomalous objects or other SCP; Due to this fact personnel with access to such objects are not allowed to wear SCP-XXXX.
Discovery and Containment: On 2018/07/26 reports of a lost coat able to speak were brought to the attention of foundation staff, an undercover team was dispatched to verify and contain it.
The team members reported suspicion of a stalker following them.

INCIDENT REPORT
DATE OF OCCURRENCE: 2018/08/01
Site-19 was breached by a thaumaturgist presumably around 20 years old wielding an anomalous revolver, which was used to create temporary pathways within the site.
Security protocols were bypassed by this and security staff were unable to follow due to the path closing too quickly. Attempts to shoot the perpetrator proved ineffective, as all bullets diverted from their paths.
During the invasion multiple foundation properties were damaged and several SCP were breached by the perpetrator, forcing staff to separate and focus on re-containing and protecting important files. An on-site newly formed MTF squad was dispatched to capture the perpetrator instead.
Upon reaching SCP-XXXX the perpetrator stopped, put his revolver down, and wore it. During this moment the MTF squad were able to reach him, but he escaped before they could capture him. The MTF squad took the anomalous revolver and promptly destroyed it to prevent the perpetrator from using it.
Without his revolver the perpetrator became lost and was surrounded by staff and the MTF squad, resulting in the perpetrator being apprehended and taken to containment cell ██. Fortunately staff were able to re-contain breached SCP and recover most destroyed files through the database. [A request to classify the perpetrator as SCP-XXXX-B has been made and is currently pending approval]
An interview with the thaumaturgist has been proposed by Dr. ██████ and is currently pending approval.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained within a secured house outdoors with supervision of at least two security staff. Attempts to further contain may present high risk; plans to contain SCP-XXXX effectively are in development.
SCP-XXXX-A is not allowed to be given objects below 35cm; Abstract symbols similar to SCP-XXXX-A's tattoo are to be immediately struck should they be present on an object.
Description: SCP-XXXX composes of a thaumaturge and an anomalous coat housing the soul of another, respectively dubbed SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B.
SCP-XXXX-B is a medium sized long coat with a brown body and light brown trims, reaching down to the calves.
Current information regarding SCP-XXXX-B's effect is as follows:
- Items created by SCP-XXXX-B are clones of the original in its current state; being able to create unlimited amounts of the same.
- SCP-XXXX-A may create up to 7 simultaneous items, any attempt to create more will remove the earliest instance.
- If the item is too large it will be re-sized to fit SCP-XXXX-B's pocket, returning to its original size upon exiting.
- Any modifications applied to the clone will affect the original item. The inverse is true as well.
- Non-clone items placed within its pockets will be brought back to their original storage area.
Additionally, subjects who have accepted the deal may "switch" with SCP-XXXX-B at any point afterwards. SCP-XXXX-B's belongings may include anomalous objects or other SCP; due to this, staff is to be cautious when interacting with it.
SCP-XXXX-A is a Caucasian male human presumed to be 20 years to 26 years old measuring 1.8 meters in height and weighing 72 kilograms. SCP-XXXX-A has an abstract tattoo in the back of its left hand. Upon contact with the same hand, objects below 35cm may become anomalous and display the same abstract image as the tattoo somewhere along it. Striking this image will free the object from its anomalous effects.

Site-19 was breached by a thaumaturge wielding an anomalous revolver, which was used to create temporary pathways within the site.
An interview with the thaumaturge has been proposed by Dr. ██████ and is currently pending approval.
Bonds Beyond Nature's Calling
An obscured legend tells the tale of a group of anomaly-hunting thaumaturges who once defied nature's calling for disaster, but upon their success in this fight, corpses of all who participated were left behind as nature's warning—only two were fortunate enough to survive such ordeal, a novice and his best friend.
The novice had never seen such disasters before, his heart was broken by that sight, his mind filled with naught but grief. Had it not been for his best friend, the novice would forever live in lonely fear.
As time passed the friend became increasingly weakened due to nature's curse. He attempted to keep it a secret from the novice for as long as he could, it was done so the novice wouldn't worry needlessly, but it came to a point where it was impossible to hide.
It was inevitable, no force may oppose nature unscathed; And as such the novice's friend failed to keep his life from escaping his body—so altered his coat, a special item created for fighting anomalies, and gave it as a parting gift to the novice.
"I won't let nature take your spirit; Nor anything else."
Those being his last words, embedded onto the coat. A promise to the novice, one he would keep no matter what.
As the novice took the coat and held it to his heart, he heard a familiar voice say: "I don't intend to break my promise." This voice belonged to none other than his friend. The novice, surprised by this, exclaimed "You have the weirdest ways of doing things" with tears of relief running down his face.
The coat, now holding a soul, allowed the friend to interact with whoever kept physical contact it, even being able to take control of them. Through this, he was able to keep his promise and protect the novice as long as he had the coat. As the last surviving member of the anomaly-hunting thaumaturges, the novice was finally given his own sigil—a tool to quickly but briefly create anomalous effects—on his left hand by his friend so he could create anomalous weapons with ease and protect himself in case of an emergency.
One day however the novice woke up unable to find the coat anywhere. He looked for it everywhere within his house only to notice something odd while searching for the coat—some items within his house were broken despite him not having any memories of what happened. He rushed outside attempting to find more clues as to what happened and encountered an anomalous trail.
He did not hesitate to follow the trail, convinced it would lead to the coat; On the way he noticed nobody else seemed to notice the trail, giving him even more confidence over the fact it would take him to the coat.
Once coming close to the end of the trail, he found a massive facility very well capable of covering an entire neighborhood. He knew then and there his quest would certainly take more than just courage, so he prepared himself as best he could before going in.
With a revolver capable of opening passages, a hat which would deviate fatal harm from coming his way and a plan, the novice believed he was ready to storm in and begin his rescue mission.
He broke in by using his revolver to bypass any security systems in place, but was immediately spotted by guards. Because of this the novice was forced to deviate from the path shown by the trail and used his revolver to open new pathways he could use to avoid being captured. To his surprise, this facility housed several anomalous monsters inside, and by creating new pathways he accidentally let several escape. This filled his mind with questions he could not reach the answer to. The anomalous monsters thankfully were enough to distract the guards, but also unfortunately created new, much deadlier obstacles to deal with.
Upon reuniting with the trail, he was able to head straight towards it's end with little interference. He opened a the door at the end of the trail and, to his relief, his prediction was correct. Sitting there was the coat he so desperately wanted to find, so he put down his gun, picked up the coat and put it on—only to find a mysterious team by the door destroying his revolver and forcing him to surrender. The novice however, refused to surrender and ran straight towards the door, readying himself for combat, only for an anomalous monster to break through and severely wounding them all. This had reminded him of something; Looking at the situation at hand made him realize the mistake he had made. By freeing these monsters he had created a scene much like his past, a scene he so desperately wanted to forget. Paralyzed with fear and pain, the novice had failed his mission in a way he could never expect…
"Don't fear, fight." Those words were spoken to the novice as he lost control of his body,
his consciousness pushed outside of himself and watching his body stand up; He pulled out of the coat's pockets a broken hammer, the same used by his friend during the fight against nature. He infused the hammer with anomalous effects using the sigil and struck down the monster standing before them, paralyzing it. Using the sigil he healed the team and himself, afterwards having his consciousness return to his body.
"Thank me later, get away from here first." said the same voice as before. Wielding his friend's hammer and with newfound courage the novice replies "I can't let this happen again. I need to fix this mess" as he runs towards the commotion, determined to end this issue. The voice, with a proud tone, says "Good luck, bud. Just make sure you don't destroy them"
As the novice finished dealing with the monsters, the guards attempted to apprehend him, but were stopped by the same team as before; Who told them to let him leave.
The novice took advantage of this and escaped from the facility.
"Thanks for rescuing me."
"…"
"No response?"
"Thanks for saving me…"
"No worries, just doing as promised"
"Why didn't you let me kill the monsters?"
"I believe those people are just trying the same thing as us, just in a different way."
"That doesn't answer my question…"
"if they study these things, we may be able to live in peace one day; I want that peace."
"…"
"You want it too, right?"
"…Yeah"
