NOTICE FROM THE FOUNDATION RECORDS AND INFORMATION SECURITY ADMINISTRATION
The following file you are currently viewing is an outdated version preserved for posterity and reference. Please note that certain information presented herein may be misleading or incorrect.

Draft submitted by: Head Researcher Walter H. Towe

Special Containment Procedures:
Civilian attempts to discover and research SCP-XXXX-1 and -2 shall be prevented. Appropriate amnestics should be provided to individuals involve and their research confiscated. Project Aqueduct is still ongoing in order to discover SCP-XXXX's origins and to understand the anomaly further.
Description:
Fig. 1.1 Dew water as seen in the Metascope Mechanism's screen. Note the overabundance of components present due to SCP-XXXX being visible as well.
SCP-XXXX refers to two anomalous components present in all forms and bodies of substances capable of sustaining life1 (See Addendum XXXX.03 for reference). These components, which are henceforth referred to as SCP-XXXX-1 and -2, are confirmed to be metaphysical in nature. SCP-XXXX appears to closely resemble molecules, with SCP-XXXX-1 measuring 0.2 nanometers and SCP-XXXX-2 measuring 0.1495 nanometers. At a minimum, There are roughly 3.346 x 1022 SCP-XXXX present in 1 ml of any host substances; which coincidentally is the same amount of regular molecules present in 1 ml of water as well. Due to their metaphysical nature, SCP-XXXX is practically invisible, unless detected by the Towe-Glenn Metascope Mechanism (See Addendum XXXX.01 for reference).
Fig 1.2 Illustration of water's chemical composition (H2O).
SCP-XXXX can be seen alongside the molecules of their host substance. For example, one instance of each SCP-XXXX component that can be seen in water appears to be connected in an unoccupied space at the surface of the main oxygen molecule, much like the two hydrogen molecules. Concerning the previous statement, it is observed that no variations occur even in SCP-XXXX present in other forms of host substances.
SCP-XXXX-1 can store memories similar to what DNAs could do, though on a more anomalous scale. Unlike DNAs, SCP-XXXX-1 can store both biological and informational memory. Through an unknown process, SCP-XXXX-1 is can transfer its stored memories to an organism that developed and evolved within its host substance. These memories appear to be an unconscious recreation of the memories created by the organisms' predecessors, prior to an extinction event that caused their population to be wiped out, and causing a new iteration to rise in its place. The quality of these memories varies from each civilization utilizing it, as it can recreate memories about their society's structure, advancements, and even down to some of their denizen's names in rare instances.
It is hypothesized that there is no limit to SCP-XXXX-1's storage capacity.
SCP-XXXX-2, to roughly summarize, is believed to be responsible for the continued survival of all biological life, regardless of what element their metabolism is based on (See Addendum XXXX.0X). It is currently unknown how SCP-XXXX-2 is capable of doing this, though evidence gathered test logs and anthropological, historical, and scientific records of alternate and alien worlds suggests the legitimacy of the aforementioned claim.
Furthermore, SCP-XXXX-2 is capable of preserving itself, and SCP-XXXX-1 in the event that their host substance is purified, diminished, or otherwise, the plane it resides in gets destroyed by any means. They can preserve themselves long enough until a new host substance is created through natural or artificial means.

Item #: SCP-5428
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5428-A is to be held in a 5 meters by 5 meters by 2 meters concrete box suspended 5 meters in the air with electrified chain. Every day, the 5 meter space below the box is to be sealed off and incinerated. This, along with any other tests, are to be done remotely, and under no circumstances will anything be allowed to enter the containment cell of SCP-5428-A. If anyone attempts to enter SCP-5428's containment area, they are to be restrained, and tested for the presence of SCP-5428-B in their body. If confirmed, they, and all of their possessions are to be cremated for 12 hours.
Description: SCP-5428-Is a tree, resembling an average apple tree, with the exception that it’s bark is charred and black. When nothing is around the tree, it passively grows a variety of fruits, even if those fruits are not naturally grown on a tree. However, when a creature with enough intelligence to hold desires comes within about 5 meters of the tree, the fruits will change into things that the creature desires. These items do not have to be natural, as before containment, it was observed creating hats, money, jewels and toys. If the creature spends more time around the tree, the tree will create more and more appealing objects. Usually creatures give in to temptation after about 10 minutes. When the creature comes into contact with these objects, it is injected with SCP-5428-B. SCP-5428-B will remain dormant for about 48 hours, and then it will then navigate it’s way into the brain, forming into a seed and killing the person. SCP-5428-B will then develop into another instance of SCP-5428-A.
Addendum: SCP-5428 must be flawlessly contained, as before it was contained, it managed to completely exterminate a town with a population of about 7500 people in 7 and a half hours.

Definitions
The list uses two definitions.
"A GoI is a group that the SCP Foundation has an interest in."
"A GoI is a group (i.e. people, organizations) that is aware or has connections to the anomalous."
List Criteria
- A GoI has to appear in at least one article.
- A GoI normally don't exist in real life. But there are a few exceptions.
- A GoI must have more than one member. Exceptions to this rule include dado, Lefty, and the Autocephalous Mission of Moldova
- A GoI must be aware of the anomalous. Only exceptions to this are Parawatch and the Fog Seekers. Organizations in the Broken Masquerade Canon and 1998 Canon are excluded.
- Organizations/Groups in the Broken Masquerade Canon and 1998 Canon only count if they have used anomalies or are anti-Foundation.
Included Stuff
- GOC Council 108 members.
- Foundation and other GoI precursors.
- Paranormal civilizations or species such as the Daevites and the Imit
- Defunct anomalous organizations.
- Groups that may or may not be part of the Foundation such as the Department of Abnormalities.
- Companies that emerged from the breakup of Prometheus Labs.
- Anomalous religions, sects, and cults.
- Subsidiaries of anomalous companies. (The subsidiary also has to be involved with the anomalous)
- SCPs can also count as GoI. GoI-4968 for example.
- Alternate universe versions of GoI and SCP Foundation.3
- Fictional organizations that pose a threat or interest to the Foundation such as the PAC Institute due to narratives.
Non-included Stuff
- Front companies (Both Foundation and GoI)
- Parent agencies to anomalous agencies. For example, the UIU counts, but the FBI doesn't.
- Anomalous nations.
- Other branches of GoI.4
- If the GoI is mentioned in any other media or source, i.e Wikipedia or Fandom, then said page should be linked in the entry, but does not count as an article. For example, Entry A is listed as Very Minor even though it has a link on a page on the wiki and a page on Wikipedia.
Differences Between Major and Minor GoI
Major GoI always appear in the GoI Hub. The GoI Index does not count due to the inclusion of minor GoI such as the Scarlet Hammer.
Regarding Anomalous Nations and City-states.
Anomalous nations and city-states are a little bit complicated. Some are classified as GoI, while others aren't. The Third Empire is not counted as a GoI although they utilize anomalies. Instead, their Institute is counted as a GoI.
Some anomalous nations, such as the Republic of Samiomalie are counted as LoI. While others, such as the Confederate Island Countries of Phantom are counted as GoI. Despite both being anomalous nations, both have a different status.
Anomalous civilizations such as the Olute or the Daevites are exempt from this, due to their age.
Anomalous nations and city-states will automatically count as LoI, and will only be counted as GoI if they are counted as one.
Note: Political parties are counted as organizations, not nations.
Note: Fae city-states are exempt from this rule.
Corporations, subsidiaries, and other business nonsense.
Multiple anomalous multinational conglomerates such as Prometheus Labs and the Daikoku Group have multiple subsidiaries with varying degrees of control.
According to Wikipedia, "A subsidiary is a company owned or controlled by another company, which is called the parent company, parent, or holding company. The subsidiary can be a company, corporation, or limited liability company. In some cases, it is a government or state-owned enterprise. " Therefore, subsidiaries are counted as separate GoI, right? No.
First of all, if subsidiaries are counted as separate GoI, then the list would be about 50 entries longer. Secondly, although subsidiaries are separate legal entities, they aren't really independent. So subsidiaries do not count as GoI.
Note: The Daikoku Group and its multiple companies count as separate GoI due to it being a Keiretsu.
Regarding different dimensions/universes/timelines/whatever
A GoI from a different dimension only counts if its name is different with the original name in base dimension. For example, the Fourth Reich is called the New Empire in the Brotherhood canon.
What gets added to an entry
If a GoI has never had a GoI number listed in any article but the author of the GoI lists it as "1231" for example, then the GoI number will count. This applies to logos and info on the GoI as well.

SCP-XXXX as a plane prepares for takeoff in the distance.
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be sealed with police line and guarded by at least two level 1 guards posing as airport security during business hours. During nightly and inactive hours, SCP-XXXX is to be guarded by one level 1 guard posing as airport security. All incoming air traffic control transmissions are to be monitored by foundation staff for any suspicious activity. All rouge radio signals are to be immediately intercepted by onsite foundation staff. All local citizens attempting to access the area of SCP-XXXX's location are to be guided to another viewing deck.
Update 2021/05/10: All trespassers (ESPECIALLY JUVENILE DELINQUENTS) are to be immediately and forcefully removed off of the perimeter of SCP-XXXX and are to be interviewed and given amnestics upon release.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a small wooden oak bench located at the Santa Monica Aiport viewing deck located on the eastern segment of the airport. SCP-XXXX contains three metal railings which are two metal railings at both ends of the bench and one in the middle. Various scratched in carvings can be found scratched in different spots of the bench. "MB + ER" and "To my beloved Casey" are among the various indents located on the anomaly but are the most eligible.

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX it to be kept inside a high security electronics storage cell at Site-64. This cell is to be outfitted with a signal jammer to prevent any outgoing transmissions.
- (double check site list)
- Must be denied cellular signal + amendment: and no one is allowed access without prior approved plans. Deviation from plans may result in accidental or intentional termination.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a dark blue older model smartphone, with a dent in the upper left corner, and a corresponding hairline crack in the upper left of the screen. Damage appears to be entirely external, as SCP-XXXX seems to retain standard functionality outside of it's anomalous effect. The phone was not pass-code locked at discovery, and it's entire contents easily accessible.
SCP-XXXX's image gallery contained only 6 images, three elevated landscapes looking down on a forest, a motion blurred image presumed to be from ground level in the same location, an image of a Japanese Pygmy Woodpecker, and a selfie of a teenage girl with foliage behind her. Analysis of the images has failed to pinpoint the exact forest, though it is presumed to be in Japan. The selfie was run through facial recognition software and came up with not only no matches, but a technical tag suggesting the girl's face may have been computer generated.
What qualifies SCP-XXXX as anomalous however, is it's tendency to teleport it's holder to a per-determined location when specific conditions are met. However due to the means of per-determining this location, SCP-XXXX can be dangerous or even lethal when mishandled.
Addendum:
- Conclusion, w/ security class upgraded.

Meridian International
Group: #GoI-XXX "Meridian International".
Membership: ~20 million worldwide.
Resources: $21.2 billion per annum, capabilities unknown.
Status: Active.
Key individuals: Angela Meridian.
Overview
Meridian International, founded 29 July 1971 is the modern public face of an organization (henceforth referred to as "The Organization") that is far older, enabling its public face, the means with which it acquired its international presence — both financially and politically.
Foundation
The name 'Meridian' was derived from the family of British immigrants who had arrived in South Africa in the years following World War II. Initially having immigrated to the country to pursue a life in agriculture, fortunes changed when while digging a well, diamonds were discovered in 1960. While keeping the location of where the diamonds had been discovered a family secret, the Meridian family sold the rough diamonds, using the proceeds to finance the beginnings of what would become Meridian Mining Company.
Later in 1970 when the Meridian Mining Company passed to Angela Meridian, she began the acquisition of several local small-scale mining companies throughout South Africa, before setting her eyes on South West Africa, Botswana, Angola, Australia, and the Soviet Union. After securing the acquisition of South African heavy machinery corporation, Van Vollenhoven Industries, the Meridian Mining Company rebranded as Meridian International on 29 July 1971. Within the decade, Meridian International began an effort to diversify and expanded into engineering, gemstones, hydrocarbon exploration, oil, oil refining, petrochemicals, precious metals, rare-earth elements. Over the succeeding decades, Meridian International increased its portfolio with ventures in asteroid mining, chemical products, civil and military aerospace, commercial air transport, commercial vessels, construction engineering, space exploration, transport aircraft, satellites, software engineering, and spacecraft.
Observation
Meridian International by itself outwardly appears to be your average run-of-the-mill corporation elevated to its current position of power through sheer luck, although through indirect observation, one can glean that there is more behind this organization than just corporate greed. In various attempts at interviews with employees of various levels in the corporation, all have been polite however, refraining from answering questions deemed sensitive, with the explanation of having signed a binding NDA5 upon hire.

file:///C:/Users/garbi/Pictures/Camera%20Roll/Shower%20SCP%20Picture%201.jpg
Item #: SCP-6231: The Murderous Camera
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-6231 must be contained in a standard containment cell with a standard padlocked seal door. SCP-6231 must be placed on a 1.5 x 0.4 m marble pedestal contained with in a 6x6 inch glass container. SCP-6231's cell must be visualized with security cameras every 30 minutes to check for any abnormalities. If any abnormalities are seen, SCP-6231 must be carefully moved out of the cell and any abnormalities must be rectified. If any D-Class personnel are to come into contact with SCP-6231, staff are obligated to kill the D-Class personnel that came into contact with SCP-6231.
Description: SCP-6231 takes the appearance of a portable photography camera, usually a standard Polaroid Camera but it's appearance maybe subject to change. In the event SCP-6231 is to be used to take a picture, instead of printing a picture of the subject, it will instead print a picture of either the photographer or the person being photographed's loved ones. Within 5 hours, the person that was printed out by SCP-6231 will be killed by an entity known as SCP-6231-2. SCP-6231-2 bears the appearance of a man in his early 20's, donning a black penguin suit and black bowler hat. To those who have claim to have seen SCP-6231-2 claim he has no face, just a white, long grin and pale skin. When he appears, he holds a 1940s walking cane and Oxford shoes. As he draws closer to his victims, he starts to dance in a jazz type fashion with his walking cane and proceeds to consume the victim leaving an eviscerated carcass left in the crime scene. Police officers claim that during these killings, SCP-6231 only eats specific body parts like the heart, liver, (placenta in women), the jugular artery and the pancreas.
Addendum: Discovery SCP-6231 was found in New Orleans, Louisiana when mutilated bodies were found across the city. Officials looked into the matter naming several possible killers but none were accused. Afterwards, a witness claimed to have seen SCP-6231-2 walking across their neighbor's front yard. Security cameras identified the entity but shortly after he was seen, he disappeared leaving a dead body. Soon a man confessed that he had used a camera to take a picture of his friends and instead came with the picture of his wife who died that evening. The camera was later taken into foundation custody and the murders have stopped since.
Addendum: Research Update Members of staff have been looking into attempts to find out what SCP-6231-2 is with several theories from staff personnel. One theory a member of staff had was that SCP-6231-2 was the first target of SCP-6231 and that his deceased spirit haunts the camera. Another theory that staff had was that he was a photographer who killed himself following a loved one's death. One staff even went as so far as to say that the camera was a tool used to summon Reapers to claim the souls off of those who are soon to be deceased. But, none of these theories have been testified.
