Man, I really need to get that sleep schedule worked out, Verez thinks as he walks over to the table, food tray in hand. He was super tired, and wondering how his boss hadn’t already noticed.

Maybe he did, and just didn’t see any point in scolding me about it.

“Hey,” he heard Prichard say as he sat down.

“Hey,” he replied.

“Did you lose sleep again?”

“Shit, it is that obvious.”

Prichard smiled. “Blame it on the tight schedule; maybe you’ll get some extra free time.”

“Yeah right. Like Braxton gives anyone off-hours. He’d have you working even if there wasn’t any work left to do.”

“Yeah, he’s like that.”

“Anyway, I finally got my sister to quit smoking… well, y’know, for now anyway.”

“That’s good.”

“Yeah. Can’t imagine why she started in the first place with all that shit we heard about cigarettes when we were kids.”

A laugh exits Prichard’s lips. “Like you don’t have any pointless habits.”

“Yeah, yeah, tell that to Braxton.”

“Alright, you gotta bring him up everytime I try to talk to you?”

It’s not that often.”

“Might as well be.”

“Seriously though, yesterday he had me reorganizing the file cabinets just for the fuck of it. He does shit like that all the time. My position might as well be null and void. Barely ever get any real assignments unless it’s some low-level testing on some weird pottery or something.”

Prichard lets out a small chuckle. “You’re talking like that information from those tests isn’t important.”

“What could it be important for? Is it really necessary that I know whether the jar spins at nine or ten kilometers an hour?”

“Hey, man, these things are unpredictable. Any little detail could make a difference.”

Verez scoffs. “What, is that the Foundation’s motto now? ‘We gotta get all the little details or the world will be destroyed?’”

Prichard’s tone gets more serious. “You know what I mean.”

Verez stops for a moment. He takes notice of Prichard’s annoyance.

“I’m just letting my thoughts spill out.”

“Alright. So, your sister. How’d you do it?”

“Oh, yeah,

“…what do you mean?”

“The Foundation. Like, is there really even any point to doing the things we do?”

“Yeeaahh, we contain anomalies so the public can live worry-free.”

“Think about it though. The only thing we’re really keeping from them is the fact that weird shit exists.”

“Weird shit that defies logic, and given enough exposure, could break someone’s world-view and shatter their beliefs they value.”

“Has it happened to you?

Prichard stays silent for a moment.

“No,” he says.

“So what’s the issue then?”

Prichard shifts in his seat.

“Look, man, I’ve got enough on my mind already; I don’t need you adding more to it.”

Verez lets out a sigh through his nose.

“Fine then. Tell me about your day.”

Display of SCP-6088

Item #: SCP-6088

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: [All documents pertaining to SCP-6088 are to be restricted access to all but the 05-Council and those with the Council’s direct written consent’ to be signed by no less than 4 members. SCP-6088 is to be contained at Site-76, in a high security object containment cell. Guards are to be posted at all times, and no personnel are to enter the chamber except for testing purposes. Object is to be contained in a 0.5x0.5x0.5m titanium cube, with 5cm thick walls. The box is to be locked with a bio-mechanical lock, (Salivary, Retinal, and Fingerprint) accessible only by level 4 researchers 05-Command. All handling is done to be done with leather gloves of any make, unless being used for testing purposes.]

Description: [SCP-6088 is a 45cm long knife, with the blade carved from a large bone of an unknown creature. The hilt appears to be made of crudely chiseled gray quartzite. The handle is wrapped in black hide taken from a common Longhorn Bull. The pommel of the knife is also bone, sharpened in the shape of an arrowhead, or possibly a javelin head.
When held by a human, the wielder exhibits a surge of intense anger toward a random object within a 50-meter radial view of the wielder. The object must be in full view for the item to be targeted. The wielder follows a small ritual, only if they've been instructed on how to use it, to activate the objects anomalous abilities. The wielder exhibits knowledge of the name of it's target, whether they are called by another common name, or alias. This extends to living creatures as well, human or animal. The user becomes unable to recognize commands given after the physical touching of the knife, and must be told how to use it beforehand (see addendum). The holder stabs their open palm on the sharpened pommel, and says, or rather, shouts the name of the object. The wielder is not given any information as to what will happen. Upon following the command, the blade becomes wreathed in black flames, and the item being “targeted” will instantly vanish. Testing shows no evidence of portals or rifts being opened, and thermal testing and chemical analysis of the empty space and surrounding area shows no trace of any transformation into energy or another form of matter.

SCP-6088 appears to have a limit on the size of the object being displaced. The knife has been observed to have a limit of 1 cubic meter, (see addendum) going as far as to remove only that much mass of the object. Anything larger has that mass removed from its being, even removing parts of objects as opposed to the entire object. The weight, material, density, and temperature of the item appears to be of no consequence to the object. During testing, this had led to some interesting, if not occasionally disturbing, results.

SCP-6088 was recovered by an un undercover field agent in [REDACTED], Mississippi. Upon hearing reports of various missing objects around the town, even ones that would be difficult to move by a construction crew. After investigating these rumors, the agent followed the trail to a burned-out brick building, apparently an old police station. The front of the building had large chunks of the front missing, but it struck it strange that the holes appeared to be smooth, as opposed to crumbling that would be expected of age. The agent entered the building and pulled out his Foundation standard issued sidearm. As he came to the holding cell, he heard a shuffle, and then heard stuttering. There was a man in the cell, wearing hooded robes. He appeared to be trying to say something but could not form the words properly. He raised the knife and black flames began to flow off of the blade. The agent, startled, fire 2 shots into the man’s chest, and he dropped the knife. The man fell to the floor n wounded but not fatally. The agent tore a strip of cloth off the bottom of his shirt and picked up the object. The item was brought into Foundation custody and designated SCP-6088. The man who attacked the agent was also brought in, but for interrogation.

After some rather… unpleasant interrogation methods were implemented, the man reveal that he was part of the Serpent’s Hand. He told the personnel that ritualistic instructions for creating various destructive anomalies hand been discovered upon the shelves of the Wanderers Library, and then began to laugh. He described in detail the many experiments it took to create the knife. He stated that they had sacrificed dozens of humans and animals to create the object, spilling as much blood as necessary to create the desired effect. Further pushing brought the man to explain its function, and the man slowly became more hysterical as the questions continued, eventually reaching the point he could not speak due to laughter. After a few minutes, the man told them how it worked, and all the gory details involved in its creation. With a large smile on his face, he said, “This is your end, and all the worlds with it. He then died on the spot. Autopsy showed he had a hollow tooth capsule filled with cyanide; in case they were captured. It is unknown why the man had not used it earlier, but it’s theorized that his weak grasp on sanity caused him to either have a lapse in memory, or that he may have simply wanted to gloat of their creation.

05-6: From what The Serpents Hand cultist told us,, the SCP appears to completely remove the matter from existence, breaking the fundamental laws of physics, assuming the individual was telling the truth. If this is true, I dread to see what this thing could do in the wrong hands.]

Addendum: [Addendum 1: Research test 6 shows that the wielder can be given commands under enough sedatives, but as of the end of said test, no further tests are allowed as of command by 05.
Addendum 2: The object ability to remove matter has grown stronger with each use. As of Test 6, the object has been capable of removing up to a mass of 3.5m3.

Notes: Dr. Bright has requested access to SCP-6088. When asked why, he refused to give a straight answer, only sayin he, “wanted to see what would happen.” Request denied.

05-4: Under NO circumstances is Dr. Bright allowed to be given access to this SCP. Any personnel found to assist Dr. Bright in obtaining the object will be terminated.
]
Test 1 - XX/21

Subject: D-Class D=4903, a tall black-haired Caucasian male convicted for multiple arson attempts, culminating in the deaths of [REDACTED] individuals.:

Procedure: D-4903 was placed in the testing chamber with a small table, topped with a glass bowl, and a glass vase. SCP=6088 was placed on the table, and the subject was told to pick up the knife, to focus on an object and then state the targets name. D=4903 picked up the knife, and immediately started showing extreme levels of anger. After approximately 4 seconds, D=4903 pierced his palm on the pommel of SCP=6088 and shouted "Table!". The table instantly vanished, causing the bowl and vase to fall to the floor. Security entered and retrieved the item from D=4903. :

**Results: The table instantly vanished, causing the bowl and vase to fall to the floor. Security entered and retrieved the item from D=4903. **

While the table was not intended to be a target, the test does show thait its forward most ability was not the black flames, but instead its ability to displace matter.:

[[fFurther testing is required to determine the extent on this anomalous effect. ]]

Test 2 - XX/21

Subject: D-class 1102 A bald Russian female, imprisoned for the murder of her family. .

Procedure: D-1102 was placed in testing chamber with SCP-6088 laid on a granite block measuring 75 cm3 . No other objects were set in the room. D-class was instructed to pick up the knife and was given the same instructions as given in Test 1. She did so, and immediately became enraged. After 4 seconds, she shouted "Block!" Security then retrieved the knife.

Results: The entire block of granite vanished.

Analysis: The stone weighed approximately 1.5 tons. There may not be a limit to the weight of its effected target.

Test 3 - Date XX/21

Subject: D-class D=4903

Procedure:D-4903 was used again for this test. The subject was once again placed in testing chamber, this time with a large block of floral foam, measuring 3mX3mX2m. SCP-6088 was laid on the ground. Subject was told to once again pick up the knife, and once again given the instruction on how to use it. He did, and after showing the same aggression as the previous test. After 4 seconds, the Subject shouted "Foam!" The standard effect took hold, with some interesting differences. Security retried the object.

Results: A 1m3 section of the foam block disappeared, leaving the rest behind. It is noted that the removed space is perfectly cube shaped, and the remaining foam shows no tool marks.

Analysis: It appears that SCP-6088 has a limit to the size of matter that can be effected. Also noted that D-4903 showed enthusiasm at testing the object again.

Test 4 - Date XX/21

Subject: D-class D-6201, a Caucasian female arrested for attempted infiltration of U.S. Government facility [REDACTED]

Procedure: Subject was placed in testing chamber with SCP-6088 and a box measuring 0.75cm3containing 14 specimens of Rattus norvegicus, or the common lab rat. Subject had no knowledge of the rats, only capable of seeing the box, which had been taped closed. Subject was instructed to pick up the knife and told the now standard instruction. The expected hostility toward the object appeared as normal, and the subject waited for the 4 second mark before Screaming "Box!". Item was removed from testing chamber as standard.

Results: Both the box and the lab rats vanished.

Analysis: It seems that if object are in the removed objects internal mass, the objects are also removed. It is also noted that the knife is effective on living creatures.

Test 5 - Date XX/21

Subject: D-class D-4903, and SCP=4020

Procedure: D-4903 was once again chosen for this test, ecstatic that he had been chosen again. D-4903 Was placed in chamber across from SCP-4020. SCP-6088 was personally handed to the D-class by security personnel this time, and then security rushed out of the room before the effect could begin. After the regular aggression and 4 second wait, D=4903 was no longer given direction as he told the researchers that he, "Knew what to do". After waiting for the 4 second mark, he yelled "[REDACTED]. The knife was retrieved by standard procedure.

Results: No observable effect.

Analysis: It seems that SCP-6088 is incapable of removing invincible objects, or at least this particular one. I now have a new idea for a research test, I just have to get consent…

Test 6 - Date XX/21

Subject:D-4903

Procedure: Subject once again showed excitement to use SCP-6088. This time though, the Subject was heavily sedated, using a combination of Melatonin and common over the counter allergy medication. The subject was also administered 10cc of adrenaline by injection. D-4903 was placed in chamber with SCP-6088 laying on the floor. Subject was instructed to pick up the knife and focus solely on the object. D-4903 did as instructed, and began to scowl, but otherwise showed no anger. After 7 seconds the subject exclaimed "[REDACTED] Remaining personnel retrieved the object.

Results: [DATA EXPUNGED]

Analysis: Thank god I stepped out to get coffee. I do feel bad about Jr. Researcher Cann, though. Aside from him we lost quite a few good men.3

SCP-XXXX-A

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures:

using a remote-controlled mechanical arm installed in the containment cell, routinely provide an assertion of elements found in the puddle (except for the unidentified ones) to the SCP-XXXX instances for them to replenish the Puddle
don't touch the puddle
never look at the puddle
don't mention the puddle while near 50 meters of the containment cell

Description:
SCP-XXXX refers to a population of symbiotic organisms of extraterrestrial origin. SCP-XXXX instances are fully sentient and significantly more intelligent than the average human. SCP-XXXX instances are amorphous in nature, though they are capable of taking any given form, according to the situation's requirements.

SCP-XXXX-A refers to the dominant species. There are 1200 instances of SCP-XXXX-A currently contained by the Foundation. SCP-XXXX-A are sentient by themselves, despite appearing to be one single cell. The means of sentience is currently unknown4. Though SCP-XXXX-A is capable of both sentience and locomation by themselves, they aren't very adept in that state. Because of this, SCP-XXXX-A instances will form complexes with SCP-XXXX-B instances.

SCP-XXXX-B refers to the submissive species. There are between 1 quadrillion and 9 quadrillion SCP-XXXX-B instances, as the number varies according to the type of bodies needed by SCP-XXXX-A instances. SCP-XXXX-B instances do not appear to be capable of any kind of autonomous decision making, and trillions of them at a time are controlled by singular SCP-XXXX-A instances. SCP-XXXX-B insatances' main feature is high malleability, as they can take the form of anything in order to perform a task on hand that is to be solved by SCP-XXXX-A. They can also detach from and attach to body complexes at the wills of SCP-XXXX-A instances. SCP-XXXX-A l instances are located in a random, but often central area of the body mass. When SCP-XXXX-A instances are removed from the complex, the body structure made by SCP-XXXX-B will revert back to their original states if they previously were in the form of a specialized tissue (such as "blood" cells, neural cells, muscle cells), fall on the ground as a mass of organic matter and decay shortly after.

SCP-XXXX-A instances haven't been observed to age, or be altered through time.
The only proven method of termination of SCP-XXXX-A is shock-freezing the cell with liquid methane, then incinerating it with a temperature of 2500000 degrees Celcius.
Following the termination of an SCP-XXXX-A instance, a new instance of SCP-XXXX-A will emerge from SCP-XXXX-D.

SCP-XXXX-D is a "puddle" made of a bright turquoise, viscous liquid. Further testing of the liquid concluded that SCP-XXXX-D is composed of oxygen, hydrogen (both protium and tritium), silicone, carbon, aluminum, sulfur, and %1 various other elements; including neptunium, argon, zinc, and 2 superheavy elements on the Foundation's expanded periodic table5. The means of keeping all the elements at a liquid state despite the liquid being at room temperature (measured with laser thermometers) and 1 atm pressure or how the radioctive elements are kept stable is unknown.

Addendum 01:

1. Interview log with SCP-XXXX-1

Dr. Mun enters the room. On the other side of the polycarbonate window, SCP-XXXX-1 is seated. SCP-XXXX-1 is in a humanoid form, but remarkably, its head is a translucent orange serpentine form with 4 circular black eyes. Upon initial eye contact, Dr. Mun shows a slight sign of unease, however, reverts to their initial expression shortly after. Dr. Mun gets seated and activates the microphone on their end.

Dr. Mun: Good morning SCP-XXXX-1-. I have a couple of questions for you and I want you to help me find the answers to them, alright?

There is 22 seconds of silence. Dr. Mun once again shows signs of unease and starts fidgeting, showing further signs of anxiousness. When they were asked by the security staff overseeing the interview if they would like to terminate the interview, they replied in negative with a head gesture, and the interview proceeded.

SCP-XXXX-1: Who are you?

Dr. Mun: Oh, my bad. I haven't introduced myself. You can call me Dr. Mun, and I am a researcher here. I am just trying to learn some things about you, that's it really.

SCP-XXXX-1: And you… You are trying to get information by using… Speech? Really? Is this the extent of your civilization? Is this ACTUALLY all you can do? Have you people even harnessed the breath of a star?

Dr. Mun: I- I am not sure what you mean by that. can you clarify that a bit please?

SCP-XXXX-1: [unintelligible]6, you actually don't understand. And the rest had thought you would be some super capable creatures because of the fucking size of your neural mass. My fucking [unintelligible].

Dr. Mun: Oh.

Dr. Mun can be seen fidgeting even more visibly. They start lightly tapping their feet, and avoid eye contact with all 4 of SCP-XXXX-1's eyes.

SCP-XXXX-1: Hah. Fear. An emotion I haven't encountered in a long time. Millenias of life and still, there IS fear in the universe. And the one that fears is… this.

Dr. Mun: I am not afraid, SCP-XXXX-1. You are restrained behind a bulletproof wall and I have a heavily armed team of security behind me.

SCP-XXXX-1: So then, why are you secreting that liquid "Mun"? Look at my eyes, Mun. Stop bouncing your leg, Mun. Or, Mun, are you just… very, very… stressed out Mun? Look at me, Mun.

The subject's two pairs of eyes start moving and merging. Other cells around the newly formed central eye start changing color and structure. The central eye glows with a depiction of a galaxy cluster as Dr. Mun looks at it.

Dr. Mun: W- What is-

SCP-XXXX-1: Don't talk to me Mun. Listen. Use your eyes.

Dr. Mun looks concentrated, and all the expression on their face vanishes abruptly. In this seemingly emotionless state, vocalizations resembling a monotone and quiet scream start emanating from Dr. Mun, their mouth still shut. After 16 seconds, the vocalization stops and Dr. Mun is capable of speech once again.

Dr. Mun: (Visibly distressed) What the hell just happened SCP-XXXX-1? I need answers, and you are going to give them to me.

SCP-XXXX-1: Here, here… You didn't calm down much did you?

Dr. Mun: This interview will be continued at a later time.

After Dr. Mun left the interview room, they were immediately taken to the nursery and administered antidepressants to regulate their anxiety. When they returned to their normal state, they reported they were feeling much better and they requested permission for a second interview. The security staff allowed for a revisit, but this time an agent trained in cognitohazards was to accompany Dr. Mun.

Addendum 02:

2. Interview log with SCP-XXXX-1

following the last interview that was abruptly cut, Dr. Mun returns back to the interview room with an agent accompanying them this time.

//Dr. Mun gets seated and proceeds to open the microphone standing before them. After its activation, Dr. Mun lightly taps the device, presumably to check whether it has activated or not. The speakers on the holding cell on the other side replicate the tapping, and SCP-XXXX-1's attention turns towards Dr. Mun.

SCP-XXXX-1: Well hello, look who is back. Are you still nervous, Mun?

Dr. Mun: I do not intend to have any personal conversation with you. Now, if you could just kindly let me do my job, I have a few questions I need you to answer.

SCP-XXXX-1: Fıne Mun, send them.

The previously orange coloring of SCP-XXXX-1 changes to a deep, glowing purple. It is also important to note that the previous singular eye has reverted to the original state, which was two pairs of eyes on each side of the "head".

Dr. Mun: Firstly, what is your name, if you have one?

SCP-XXXX-1: [unintelligible]

Dr. Mun: It seems though my biology doesn't allow me to perceive those sound patterns. Could you choose a name from the human hearing range which you would be comfortable with?

SCP-XXXX-1: Seymour.

Dr. Mun: Seymour?

SCP-XXXX-1: Isn't that in your hearing range?

Dr. Mun: Yes, yes my bad. Now, the second question. Where are you and the others from?

SCP-XXXX-1: Not Terra.

Dr. Mun: Any specific locations or coordinates?

SCP-XXXX-1: (Subject remains silent.)

Dr. Mun: Okay, we are doing better than the last time. Now, I want to know how did you guys get here, and how did you learn to communicate?

SCP-XXXX-1: We… we just used our vessel covered in golden light? Y'all don't have that?

Dr. Mun:

SCP-XXXX-1:

Dr. Mun:

SCP-XXXX-1:
we used to have a spacefaring civilization, we tamed stars and enslaved blackholes, reality was whatever we wanted, time was nothing but a spatial dimension to traverse to us until that day. that damned day. when your fucking metal box was spotted by one of our space cleanup ships everyone lost their goddamn minds because we thought we were alone. oh, great [unintelligible] I beg of you, turn their beloved Sol into a magnificent supernova and incinerate them. I will never forget what your silly little space game caused. My kin's plasma is on your appendages. You disgust me you filthy flesh thing. You and your life juice called blood. Primitive. Unsophisticated. Repulsive.

Addendum 03:
Interview log with SCP-XXXX-2

The subject was selected for its remarkable cooperativeness and docility, however, the incident is regarded, was done with several layers of 120mm polycarbonate windows between the subject and dr Mun

Dr. Mun: Thank you for your extremely well behavior SCP-XXXX-2. I will be asking you some questions, but before we proceed, I wanted to ask you if you had any personal requests.

SCP-XXXX-2 Some super heavy water'd [sic] be nice. Thanks [sic] you.

Dr. Mun: You're welcome SCP-XXXX-2. Now I believe, we can continue as-.

A mechanical arm inserted in the subject's cell delivers a cup of tritiated water. SCP-XXXX-2 takes a humanoid form and "drinks" the water by absorbing it through its "hand" dipped in the cup. After the water was depleted, SCP-XXXX-2 rapidly changes colors for approximately 2 minutes until settling on a bright, pulsating blue, darker in color than SCP-XXXX-D. During this period, security staff stood on hold.

SCP-XXXX in the arms of Captain Mossen of the HMS [REDACTED] - 1943

Special Containment Procedures:

SCP-XXXX is currently uncontainable. It is to be continuously tracked via the GPS tracker implanted onto the entity. Any ships affected by SCP-XXXX are to be decommissioned or purchased by the foundation and monitored until sinking. SCP-XXXX is to be fed 50g of tinned tuna daily, although this is not necessary for its survival.

Description:

SCP-XXXX is an entity resembling Felis catus7 with mostly black fur, aside from a small patch of white underneath the chin. It weighs 3.1kg and is marginally smaller than typical Felis catus, though not outside the standard range. It has not been observed to age since initial discovery, and it appears to possess unnatural reflexes that render it effectively immune to damage. When unable to avoid damage, SCP-XXXX will demanifest from it's current location and remanifest elsewhere on the same vessel. It is possible to sedate SCP-XXXX through food (See Addendum 3.).

The primary anomalous effect of SCP-XXXX is prediction of the sinking of naval vessels. It appears on ships that will to sink in roughly 6 months, with an average of 181 days, with the shortest recorded time being 163 days and the longest being 203 days. SCP-XXXX has only been known to manifest on a single ship at any time, which has led to the understanding that it is a single entity.

The sinking has no direct link to SCP-XXXX and appears to be purely causal. Each sinking was caused through non-anomalous means, such as strong winds, gunfire, collisions etc. None of the sinkings are noted to have any links, and are appropriate to the time period and location where the vessel was sunk. It is noted however that all sinkings have occured at sea, to date SCP-XXXX has not manifested on any lake or river going vessels.

The entity will demanifest when it comes into contact with the surface of the water once the ship begins to sink. It is unknown how it makes this distinction, as on normal contact with water it will remanifest upon the current target ship, rather than choosing a new target. It also must be the surface of the water, any water that splashes onto deck will not cause the entity to demanifest.

Addendum 1: Discovery and Initial Tracking

SCP-XXXX was initially discovered by The Right Honourable Commission on Unusual Cargo in 1795 after evidence placed SCP-XXXX on multiple ships belonging to the Royal Navy as well as privateer vessels which had sunk. A snippet from an example letter is included below.

"It was the strangest thing, I was sure I'd triple checked before we left Southampton, all accounted for, no stowaways and the manifest was perfectly up to date, but there it was, a cat! Black as the night sky with a small tuft of white fur like a moon dotting the inky blackness. It's a beautiful creature, but that doesn't explain where it came from. It must have been hiding amongst the stores somewhere I'm sure of it. Besides, they do say a cat is good luck. I've decided to name her Luna, and hopefully she shall be good company through the turbulent weather of the North Sea. "

- Quartermaster Bernard Fairbanks of the Good Fortune, a merchant vessel. 1832

Due to limitations of the time period, it was deemed impractical to contain.

Addendum 2: Suspected reports of SCP-XXXX

Below is a list of suspected SCP-XXXX manifestations.

Date Ship Name Cause of Sinking Sighting Confirmation
09/08/1942

USS Astroia, a New-Orleans class cruiser.

Sunk at Savo Island through Naval Gunfire Recovered letter from Ensign P. Bailey mentioning a new ships cat matching the description of SCP-XXXX
04/05/1945

USS Luce, a Fletcher class destroyer.

Sunk by Kamikaze near Okinowa. Note from officers meeting regarding when they acquired a new cat. Description unknown but given the context it is likely SCP-XXXX.
14/07/1836

HMS Victorious, a Ship of the Line.

Sunk in severe weather near Cape Matapan. Ship was commissioned by (Royal institute) who were aware of the entity and kept notes on it's behaviours.
20/12/1902

Old Glory, a Fishing Trawler.

Sunk in collision with another ship in the North Sea. Captain's diary mentions a ships cat matching SCP-XXXX's description. It is noted as the first time the entity is mentioned interacting with humans in a manner similar to a normal Felis catus
22/10/1961

MV Bianca C., A passenger liner

Explosion on board and subsequent fires before being towed out of harbour to sink, near to the Grenada. Most well recorded SCP-XXXX manifestation prior to SCPS Bonaventure. Entity was noted by more than 30 aboard the ship, although none are known to have questioned its presence.

Addendum 3: Incident XXXX-01
On 03/09/1997 SCP-XXXX manifested itself on the SCPS Bonaventure, a guided missile destroyer in the service of the Foundation. It was quickly identified by the crew and the SCP-XXXX research team was brought aboard in order to study the entity. They established much of the known description over the 4 months of time allotted to research before the SCPS Bonaventure was to be abandoned, with SCP-XXXX even showing a preference for certain members of research staff.

It was decided to attempt to monitor the entity through use of a GPS tracking chip implanted into the back of the collar. This was achieved through addition of a sedative into the food of the entity, before injecting the tracker.

Just under 2 months later, the unmanned SCPS Bonaventure was lost when it struck the SCPS Vanguard in strong winds in the mid-Atlantic. SCPS Vanguard had been stationed nearby in order to monitor the sinking, and only suffered minor damage, while the Bonaventure suffered catastrophic structural damage on the port side near the bow, shearing it off and causing the ship to sink.

Shortly after the engine deck had begun flooding, as confirmed by video surveillance, SCP-XXXX spontaneously demanifested upon contact with the water. The entity's GPS tracker notified researchers that it had remanifested in the Indian Ocean, approximately 200km south of Sri Lanka. This allowed for the identification of the new target of SCP-XXXX.

At this point, the current containment procedures were enacted, and to date there has only been a single loss of life on the part of SCP-XXXX, a maintenance technician who was installing cameras upon the trawler Queen's Catch when the effects of SCP-XXXX manifested unusually early (163 Days since manifestation). Containment procedures were updated accordingly.

Item #: SCP-████

Object Class: Keter

Adult%20Swim

Logo of the Adult Swim channel.

Special Containment Procedures: The popular social media platform known as Tiktok is to be monitored daily by clearance level 4 personnel for newly manifested instances of SCP-████ and SCP-████-1 instances.

As of to date, there is no efficient method of containing SCP-████ permanently. It is important that all SCP-████-1 instances be monitored as well in order to ensure the safety of the instance. In the event of Foundation staff converting into an SCP-████-1 instance, the staff member in question is to be on constant watch by Dr. Waltz.
