Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a dark box with one way windows to stop it from seeing any staff. And if it sees any staff, unless experimenting, a lockdown must be initiated to stop anyone affected by XXXX mind control from coming in.
Precautions must be taken when feeding SCP-XXXX. XXXX must be fed only by staff with covered faces so that XXXX doesnt see them as a target. XXXX sould only be fed raw catfish.

Description: SCP-XXXX or Soul's chest, is a possesed chest which lures people and animals to it using mind control.
Standing 1,7 metres tall and 1m wide, it opens up and displays whatever the person being controlled wants. As soon as it spots a target it opens up, luring people to get close to it. It then shreds its leather straps to reveal large jagged fangs which rip its target to pieces and consumes them whole.
This can be avoided by covering your face so that XXXX cant see you as prey. It's made of dark brown spruce wood with layers of Iron on top. It has leather around its mouth/opening.

Addendum: It is rumored that its victims are not conscious during mind control. Only a few escaped XXXX grasp.

Discovery: Location: Caves of Mt█████. Unknown Chest discovered by Mr ██, him and everyone who was involved was terminated after a day. Deep in the caves was a Chest which had a lock. Mr ██ opened the lock expecting treasure, he later found his sons corpse next to it. He then reported it. XXXX was transported with a heavy truck.

Experiment log:

SCP-XXXX: I have what you want…

Dr ████: You dont.

SCP-XXXX: I have █████. It would heal your sons disease.

The Covenant Ghost SCP-XXXX

Object Class:** Keter

It would seem that the Covenant Ghost has been haunting since very early in the history of humankind. Cave drawings have been discovered depicting a strange, child-sized figure floating against a dark background. In addition to these documentative paintings, evidence unearthed at a noted archaeological site leads us to believe that the ghost used to be one of Homo Naledi, early man dating from the Middle Pleistocene 335,000–236,000 years ago.

Hundreds of ancient bodies were unearthed in the Rising Star Cave discoveries, widely accepted as being the Cradle of Mankind. Set some way off from the main ‘burial site’ of these bodies, a skeleton dated to the time was found, positioned in a strange manner. In a foetal position, both hands curled inwards into what would have been the stomach. Lying between the finger bones was a crudely fashioned, still sharp, knife, indicating the manner of death of this individual. Although Early Man, apes and hominids etc have always killed one another since the dawn of their origination, this is now widely believed to be the first murder as we would understand it, i.e.. not for purposes of defence, food, mating rites etc. Evidence suggests it seems to have been for personal motives and, more importantly, hidden from the rest of the social group. Even then this would have been a transgression against primitive social rules and would have merited some kind of punishment if discovered.

The actual term ‘Covenant Ghost’ is first referred to in early Sumerian cuneiform texts, a symbol widely agreed to mean ‘promise’ is written next to another which scholars believe means ‘ghost, spirit or being of the after-life.’

Over the centuries many reappearances of the Covenant Ghost has led to reasonably comprehensive documentation. The fact that it came into being well before religious texts telling the story of Adam and Eve being ‘the first man and woman’ indicates that the word ‘covenant’ in this sense seems to mean ‘promise’ or ‘agreement’ rather than to have any biblical implications.

However, the first recognisably written and readable text referring to the Covenant Ghost dates from the time of Byzantium, circa 1015. It seems to tell a tale of a visitation by this (already) ancient and restless spirit which suggests that it, over the centuries, had learned to vocalise better in death than it could in life. A rough translation of the story goes as follows:

“Didyma is a simple woman of poor means. Her man was trampled by a runaway mule and cart and was killed. She lay upon her cot, sobbing, when the form first appeared. It was pale of face and clear like a drop of water.

At first, Didyma thought it must be one of her children, come to soothe her in her grief. Then she saw that the figure was raised from the ground, though it could not be possible. It had no face to speak of. Its voice when it spoke was low and harsh. Didyma claimed she could do nothing, so frozen was she with terror.

When questioned, the woman insisted that the figure returned to her night after night, until in the end she fell to her knees, begging for mercy, asking what she might do to appease it.

The spirit demanded she enter into a pact. In return for peace, she must go to the neighbouring village, where the spirit told her a pestilence had come. In dead of night, she was to slit the dog’s throats, then set fire to the huts, to kill the plague. Only then would the spirit let her rest.

Didyma did as she was bid, later admitting her crimes freely. She was sobbing hysterically, looking all about as if the spirit might be in the chamber with us. When told of her punishment, the woman seemed unable to hear it, muttering to herself over and over again, “It has brought others with it. It has brought others with it.”

This muttering did not cease until her tongue was removed with hot tongs and a butcher’s knife. She was then bound hands and feet before being thrown in with a pack of hungry wild dogs. What remained of her after was burned, her ashes scattered beneath the feet of peasants and urchins, her punishment made to fit her crime.’

It is notable that, some weeks after this incident was logged in these early official records, a single sentence was added.

‘The town is feverish with tales of ghosts. Never has so much blood flowed in time of peace.’

We now suspect that Didyma was in fact telling the truth, and that the Covenant Ghost not only haunts in its own right, but allows other, more nefarious spirits into the world, too.

There is modern evidence for this. Dr. William Newman is Chief Paranormal Investigator, heading up the Department for Psychic, Supernatural and Otherworldly Entities as part of the Foundation. He is currently on enforced leave and will not return to work until he has undergone a full psychological assessment.

By means of using a Bait Mind and a Trap Mind (see ‘Special Containment Procedures’) the Covenant Ghost was caught and held for a period of roughly 18 months in the specially made Foundation unit, with Dr. Newman assuming overall responsibility. The events leading up to Dr. Newman’s breakdown were chronicled thanks to permanent audio and visual recording in this area. A transcript of the incident follows:

A clear view of the area of containment. The Trap Mind is seated on the far right, the Bait Mind on the far left. They each have specially designed wire caps on their heads, with leads stretching upwards. These leads seem to ‘fade out,’ eventually disappearing, yet they remain taut and in place. Both individuals seem calm, focused and untroubled.

Caught between the wires. hovering just below the high ceiling of the unit, is the vague figure of a child. Despite its appearance, the figure is faded and somehow worn, giving the impression of great age. It is simply hovering, head bowed and apparently disinterested in everything around it. Dr. Newman is surveying this from behind a screen of one-way glass in the Control Room.

Dr. Newman: Anything to report?

Technician Andrews: No doctor, everything is under control.

Dr. Newman: Good. We can go ahead with swapping out the Bait and Trap Minds then. Are they ready to take over?

Technician Andrews: Yes doctor. They are in the Transitional Unit as we speak, waiting for you.

Dr. Newman: You know what you have to do. Monitor the SCP constantly from now until the transition is complete. It is to be your only focus, understand? Leave the rest to me.

Technician Andrews: I understand.

Dr. Newman: Good.

Dr. Newman exits the Control Room and walks to the Transitional Unit. He uses his pass card to allow entry. A new video angle takes over as Dr. Newman goes over protocol for the final time with the awaiting replacement Minds. Satisfied all is well, he punches in the code to allow entry into the main containment cell. Neither the Bait Mind nor Trap Mind at work there acknowledge their arrival.

They approach the seated Bait Mind. His replacement takes a wire cap from his pocket and secures it on his head. Wordlessly, the two exchange places. Overhead, the Covenant Ghost shivers, drops a few feet in height before regaining its original position. The replaced Bait Mind leaves immediately.

Doctor Newman now approaches the seated Trap Mind. Once again, the replacement takes a wire cap from her pocket and secures it upon her head, before changing places without a word spoken. The Covenant Ghost reacts in the same way, with a shiver from head to toe, dropping a few feet before regaining its original position.

Dr. Newman and the ‘old’ Trap Mind turn to leave. As they do, the seated Trap Mind sneezes violently.

Dr. Newman: Bless you!

The Covenant Ghost immediately becomes more animated, writhing, shimmering and groaning as it drops and rises faster and faster between the wires. There is a horrified expression on Dr. Newman’s face.

Dr. Newman: I am so sorry! How could I have been so stupid? It is force of habit, you understand? Social protocol, so to speak. I cannot believe I let myself slip like that!

{N.B. It has been determined that this SCP sees any form of emotional attachment, concern or consideration, however minor, as weakness. This is what this entity appears to feed off. Rather than seeking to punish wrongdoers, it seems its aim is to punish innocents. The current theory is that it is angry with itself for being weak and succumbing to murder. It seems to detest even the slightest hint of compassion, kindness or any ‘positive’ emotion or thought.]

Old Trap Mind: We must stay calm Dr. Newman. Don’t give it anything to feed off.

Dr. Newman: This is my unit! Don’t tell me the do’s and don’ts here! I am perfectly calm! Look at me!

Dr. Newman flings his arms wide in an open gesture. In doing so, he inadvertently catches the wire cap on the seated Trap Mind’s head, dislodging it. It falls to the ground, the trailing wire dropping and falling with it.

In the 1 minute and 25 seconds it takes for the cap to be retrieved and replaced, the Covenant Ghost breaks free. It careers around the unit, sometimes so fast that it is little more than a blur. Technician Andrews in the Control Room sounds the alarm.

The Covenant Ghost goes to the seated Bait Mind. It appears to whisper something in his ear. Seconds later, he rises and proceeds to strangle the female Trap Mind with the wire from his cap. He is possessed with phenomenal strength suddenly, and neither Dr. Newman nor the other Trap Mind can stop him. The woman falls to the floor, dead.

He then turns his attentions to the other Trap Mind, grabbing him from behind as he turns to run, throttling him with the wire. Technician Andrews can be heard banging on the glass urgently. We can hear him urging Dr. Newman to ‘get out of there.’

There is the sound of booted feet running. The Control Room door is flung open. Four heavily armed security personnel enter. Technician Andrews apprises them of the situation swiftly. They enter the unit, shooting the attacker dead without hesitation, sadly too late to save his victim.

There are now 3 dead in the unit. Dr. Newman is sitting in a corner, curled up like a child. He is babbling incoherently. Technician Andrews later says he witnessed the Covenant Ghost hovering so close to the doctor that part of it merged with him. The doctor’s face was rapt, listening intently to something the ghost appeared to be saying to him. Then the Covenant Ghost simply rose through the ceiling and disappeared.

It is to be noted that even though Technician Andrews witnessed this, it was somehow not caught on camera.

Dr. Newman was escorted from the unit and delivered into the hands of the Foundation’s Emergency Medical Team. It was later reported that he tried to grab an empty syringe and inject air into a nurse’s leg. He had to be strapped to a gurney and kept in solitary confinement for a period of one month immediately after the event,

In the days following, stories of ‘hauntings’ and strange figures began to emerge, centred around that unit. Problems with electrical fittings were reported which, upon investigation, proved to be groundless. Yet lights, instrument panels and other utilities were often switched on and off inexplicably. Some poltergeist activity has also been reported, the chairs moving across the floor or being thrown against the Control Room glass window. Reports came in of repulsive odours, the smell of burning, disembodied voices, bloodied footprints on the walls and ceilings. Things became so bad that the unit was eventually shut down, all electricity and other amenities discontinued there. It is still out of use.

The whereabouts of the Covenant Ghost is currently unknown.

Special Containment Procedures

The Covenant Ghost can be lured in provided the correct bait is used. Bait comprises of what it perceives to be a weak human being, ‘weak’ in this context meaning an individual who is deeply ritualistic, who believes in the afterlife and supernatural entities and/or an individual who has suffered a recent bereavement and is still in a period of mourning. The Covenant Ghost finds such people easy to manipulate and bend to its will as their minds and souls are vulnerable and prey to corruption. It is suspected to also affect individuals with certain mental health issues, though this is unproven to date.

The lure will be henceforth referred to as the Bait Mind.

Conversely, the Covenant Ghost can be trapped by what it perceives to be a strong mind, ‘strong’ in this context meaning an individual who has no ritualistic beliefs and no belief in the supernatural; an individual who is strictly logical, scientific and entirely rational, perhaps even unimaginative. Once lured in, the Covenant Ghost becomes paralysed by the non-response of the stronger mind, which effectively deprives it of the fear and apprehension it thrives upon.

The stronger mind will henceforth referred to as the Trap Mind.

N.B: Both the Bait Mind and the Trap Mind must be present at all times if the Covenant Ghost is to remain paralysed and thereby contained.

The Covenant Ghost may escape containment if either the Bait Mind or Trap Mind change their outlook on life and the world in which they exist, or if the balance of their mind becomes affected by outside influences. To mitigate this, it is recommended that contact with the outside world and with other people should be kept strictly to an absolute minimum. The death of either the Bait Mind or Trap Mind will likely also result in escape. It is advisable to have replacement minds readily available to step in immediately should this occur.

In theory, the Covenant Ghost can be trapped anywhere in the physical world, provided both Bait Mind and Trap Mind are present. As its name implies, it is a ghost, meaning physical prisons such as walls etc. cannot hold it. However, to enable continuous observation, appropriate testing and examination as well as overseeing the status of the Bait Mind and Trap Mind, it is advisable to lure the Covenant Ghost into a purpose built Foundation facility.

This facility must have Top Secret clearance as a minimum. The Bait Mind and Trap Mind are to be fed either via food delivered via a chute or similar, or via intravenous tube, the latter being the least disruptive after initial set up and therefore most recommended.

Staff are strictly not to converse with the Bait Mind or Trap Mind, or to pass them any form of reading or any other media which may distract them or inadvertently sway their thinking.

Addendums

A new unit must be built, with better security measures in place, before another attempt is made to capture this SCP. Steps should be taken to exorcise (clean) the old unit.

Immediate research into a safer, accident-proof method of transitioning Bait and Trap Minds is recommended.

ALL STAFF MUST BE ROUTINELY PSYCHOLOGICALLY ASSESSED BEFORE UNDERTAKING POSITIONS IN THIS ENVIRONMENT. It seems probable that Dr. Newman was experiencing some kind of emotional, psychological or mental event that led to him making such a basic mistake. This must be carefully watched for in future. There is some potential in using a robot as a replacement Trap Mind. This needs greater research and testing.

one of the many areas of scp-XXXX

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: constant surveillance by security cameras and guards.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a strip mall in Ireland that seemingly has had no update in decoration, style, and technology since the mid 1990's, it is said by many class D's who enter the mall that it smells like "a mixture of bleach, mud, puke, greasy food, perfume, bowling alley shoes, department stores, and blood". When a person enters the mall they instantly gain the feeling of existential dread, as if by nothing. The stores in the mall seemingly do not exist in our universe and the trash cans have strange items in them along with generic items. It is advised to not eat any of the food, as it will poison you if consumed, we have no answer as to why its poisonous or how it poisons those who eat it. The speakers that play music seem to work perfectly fine, but plays nothing but static once turned on, occasionally an announcement is heard, this announcer is seemingly male and French Canadian.
Update 2021: As of may 10th, we've discovered that the announcer is a sentient being, as a camera turned to face one of the D-class' and called out her name when looking through the arcade window and asked if she wanted quarters for the arcade, we do not know if it's friendly or not, further tests will be made.

Addendum: testing of the food and the store items will start tomorrow 11:00, we do not know what they are made of or what they do.

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid Neutralized

Special Containment Procedures: As the object is neutralized, no containment procedures are necessary.

Description: SCP-XXXX was previously a 21-22 year old male of European descent, with brown hair. Although superficially non-anomalous, SCP-XXXX does not contain any organs, bloodstream, or internal systems, besides the brain. Despite the lack of internal structure, the brain maintains awake activity. Minor investigation shows that SCP-XXXX's brain activity does in fact correlate with SCP-XXXX's behavior.

Addendum XXXX.1: Recovery

SCP-XXXX was recovered in Babblestine Hospital, [REDACTED], VA during the years of 1999 after hospital staff reported that SCP-XXXX lacked any internal organs and structure. The foundation was then dispatched to investigate before finding and recovering SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX was recovered unharmed, albeit crying intensely. Since SCP-XXXX was at the time an infant, a foundation program for SCP-XXXX had to be created.

Addendum XXXX.2: Notes from SCP-XXXX

Addendum XXXX.3: Termination Log

During the year of 2020, SCP-XXXX expressed severe distress, and reported severe pain. Resorting to Deep Brain Stimulation had reportedly worsened SCP-XXXX's depression, and significantly changed his personality. As personnel have reported that: "we will lose her personality if we resort to Deep Brain Stimulation, and let her do what she wants to do", along with the request of SCP-XXXX, deep brain stimulation has been seized.

A few days later, SCP-XXXX requested to be terminated by foundation personnel with the use of anesthesia and drug-induced brain death. Termination was approved by O5-9, and has been carried out by Dr. Rendrums, along with an anesthesiologist. Agt. Rafael has requested to be with SCP-XXXX during termination.

<Begin Log>
Dr. Rendrums: So, you have requested to be terminated?

SCP-XXXX: Yes. (coughs out mild blood)

Dr. Rendrums: So, before you are terminated. I will ask you one question.

SCP-XXXX: Yeah, get it done quickly, gah!

Dr. Rendrums: Wait. Agt. Rafael, former companion of SCP-XXXX, do you have anything to say to him?

Agt. Rafael: I'm sorry, we couldn't do it. We couldn't.

Dr. Rendrums: Agt. Rafael, this will be your last time communicating with SCP-XXXX, is that all your going to say to this dying companion? Your friend? You've been friends with him for a very long time. Since his childhood. Even I wouldn't do that, Agent Rafael.

Agt. Rafael: (Pauses)… That… No… Wait. Yes. That… That is all I have to say.

Dr. Rendrums: Alright, now SCP-XXXX, anything you have to say, before your termination?

SCP-XXXX: He-… He. Help… Help… HELP.

Dr. Rendrums: … Jesus. Ok, now that we are ending the bond between you two because of one's suffering, let's end that bond. Alright.

(Anesthesiologist inserts Anesthesia into IV tube, and is inserted into the brain of SCP-XXXX.)

Agt. Rafael: I'm… I'm sorry.

(SCP-XXXX loses consciousness shortly thereafter.)

Dr. Rendrums: Alright. Begin inserting Compound-1142-T into his frontal lobe.

Anesthesiologist: (unintelligible)

Dr. Rendrums: Yeah, at least 0.5 milliliters. Alright. Successfully injected.

Anesthesiologist: Alright, that's injected. Moving body to MRI just for any brain activity. Yeah, there is some in the temporal lobe, still emitting Alpha waves.

Dr. Rendrums: Bypass the thick layer by using a small but flexible material, I'm pretty sure the temporal lobe is over there.

Anesthesiologist: Injecting with V102.

Anesthesiologist: Damn it! Massive increase in activity. I'm guessing a focal seizure. Alright.

Dr. Rendrums: Inject…. V104, V104. 0.045 Milliliters. That should be-

Anesthesiologist: Detected suppression. Checking for any activity. No brain stem… Nothing. Not Alpha waves. None.

Dr. Rendrums: Alright. We're finished now.

(The Anesthesiologist leaves.)

Dr. Rendrums: Agt. Rafael, companion, thank you for your cooperation and calmness throughout this whole, entire project. Thank you.

Item #: SCP-Woods

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-Woods is to be secured extended 4m of its radius of anomalous properties. is to be monitored via satellite tracking system “ESTRELLAS”. Upon determination of its location, MTF-Tau-77 (DEEP DARK WOODS) is to be immediately dispatched to Woods’ location to prevent disappearances. In the event of a missing persons case, Protocol-54-Indelicato is to be enacted.

In the event of Protocol-54-Indelicato, SCP-Woos is to be explored for retrieval of individuals. Any discovered individuals are to be amnesticized and explained finding themselves lost within the woods. Investigations are to be delayed until SCP-Woods disappears from its initial area of appearance. Further retrieval operations are prohibited as of Incident-10-2007.

MTF-Tau-77 is to guard the premises OF SCP-Woods. is to monitor any individuals close to SCP-Woods's anamolous range. A cover story involving the presence of feral animals local to whatever area SCP-WOODS-1 manifests in to explain MTF-TAU-77’s appearance.

Description:

SCP-Woods-1 refers to an adult humanoid male taking on characteristics with that of a Pseudotsuga menziesii tree that identifies itself as "Dr. Woods"3. The lower torso of SCP-Woods-1 is composed mainly of tree bark rooting itself to the ground, causing it to remain in a stationary position. Its upper torso is capable of movement in SCP-Woods-1’s control. In its arms' place are branches that sprout leaves similar to those found on Pseudotsuga menziesii. On the ends of SCP-Woods-1's "arms" appear to be branches that act as SCP-Woods-1's fingers.

Despite displaying facial features that include a mouth, SCP-Woods-1 cannot communicate verbally to Foundation personnel. Testing revealed that the insides of SCP-Woods-1 are entirely hollow with the exception of a resin-like substance. The incision are from initial testing has not healed, leaving a cavity resembling a tree hollow in its place. Interviews are instead conducted through lip reading via Dr. Alaran via video transmissions.

SCP-Woods-A refer to the area in which SCP-Woods-1 appears in. Although SCP-Woods-1 will appear in any wooded area, criteria for SCP-Woods-A are usually densely forested, secluded from nearby populations, and within warm temperatures. Instances in which SCP-Woods-1 ignores these criteria are rare with only one incident involving SCP-Woods-1 manifesting in Central Park, New York. All witnesses were administered amnestics as the park was temporarily closed under the claims of environmental hazards.

Anyone coming in range4 between SCP-Woods-A and 1 find themselves in a confused state that distorts their sense of direction, causing attempts to exit SCP-Woods-A extremely difficult. In the event that SCP-Woods-1 manifests in a sparsely-forested area or one without any signs of trees, SCP-Woods-A's anomalous properties will not activate and SCP-Woods-B will not be encountered.

SCP-Woods-B is the collective term for all anomalous organisms encountered within SCP-WOODS-A. Due to the various creatures and plant-life varying every exploration into SCP-Woods-B, it cannot be determined whether or not these organisms are generated inside SCP-Woods-A or forcibly kept into its range.

SCP-Woods was discovered on April ██ 1990 in a forest close to a nearby town in Washington. Prior to MTF-Tau-77’s arrival, ██ disappearances had been reported with more people becoming missing as they searched for such individuals.

A photo of SCP-5864 after it has been duplicated multiple times using the printer.

Special Containment Procedures: There are no standard procedures for SCP-5864, however if the printer for SCP-5864 breaks/stops working for any reason, any personnel with level 2 or above will call a technician to fix it. SCP-5864 is to be kept in a standard printer room where the printer for SCP-5864 will constantly be making paper for the SCP foundation worldwide and will be used for selling under the guise of the paper being made out of plastic due to the fact that new paper created from SCP-5864 is not made out of organic material.

Description: SCP-5864 appears to be a standard A4 metric piece of paper, the paper is made out of unknown material and the only difference is in the edges of the paper where it appears to have a small gap on the long edge of the paper. Upon using the gap to “open” SCP-5864, it becomes a new piece of paper and is assigned as by A3, A2 etc. However, SCP-5864 can also become smaller by simply folding it in half. When folded, the edges of the paper form into one edge except for the small gap. SCP-5864 cannot be folded in any other way except folded halfway from the top to bottom, also known as a “hamburger fold”. This is also assigned by the standard names of A5, A6 etc. SCP-5864 can be written on, but when folded and unfolded, any material on the paper disappears. When attempted to be destroyed by ripping, SCP-5864 will only be allowed to be ripped in half, and the original does not have any tears nor does the second version. The second version of the SCP-5864, designated by SCP-5864-1, does not have any of the anomalies of the original A4 paper other than the fact that the paper is made out of unknown material.

SCP-5864 was found from a middle school in the mid-western part of the U.S.A after a teacher found it and told it to the current principal of the school. SCP agents in the area took it and used amnestic on all teachers that had learned about it. It was in a cardboard box and on the side of the box it had said “The Infinite Paper! Just one unfold and cut and it doubles!” and at the bottom of the box it says “Made by The Factory”. How SCP-5864 got to the school and when it arrived is still unknown. It has been sent back to Site 19 for further testing and classification.

A “printer” has been made to mass produce SCP-5864 by constantly opening it and cutting it in half apart over and over again. The printer makes about 3000 A4 metric paper every 30 minutes and stored in a cardboard box for shipping. The 05 council approved for the paper to be shipped for all SCP facilities worldwide and was allowed to be sold for funding. Staff at Site-17 have also said that this fixes SCP-073’s (also known as Cain) problem of him destroying any organic material near him.

Special Containment Procedures: Webbot AOL-43 ("Biological-Computer") is to be kept in constant operation and checked for defects by a Level (4) Technician. When active, the bot will search a wide range of internet media for SCP-XXXX instances on the internet. Once detected, the AI will initiate a server-destruction-attack, effectively destroying the media within the server. After detection of the instance, no access to the bots will be permitted under any circumstances, and the next copy of the bot within Document-"AOL-43-(SCP-XXXX)" will be chosen as the next AOL-43 webbot.

Information of SCP-XXXX collected by non-foundation groups will be destroyed, and viewers amnesticized. Suppression of SCP-XXXX into a non-anomalous, dangerous virus, is to be executed during a breach of SCP-XXXX into the civilian popualation.

Due to the easily spreadable nature of SCP-XXXX and the risk of harm the threat poses, all personnel coming into contact with any other personnel involved in SCP-XXXX are to wear Class-VI Protective Hazmat Suits, and any communication done with involved personnel must be verbal.

In the event of a breach of SCP-XXXX, all foundation sites are to enter Class-VIII Quarantine-Protocols and are to be kept at a alert level of at least 6. Any breach of SCP-XXXX into the civilian population will result in an immediate evacuation of infected areas, along with screening.

Description: SCP-XXXX is the recurring manifestation of computer viruses on a form of internet media. The appearance of the virus is generally invisible on actual internet media, and will generally go unnoticed unless with the use of special bots. The location of the manifestation appears to be at live, highly active, internet sites in which SCP-XXXX manifestations are spread most easily. SCP-XXXX computer virus manifestations are typically highly diverse in it's damage and behavior within a viewer, but will always be transferred via direct contact with it (e.g accessing infected media on a computer). Once transferred, the SCP-XXXX virus will replicate itself within the infected host, cause differing intensities of damage, and will continue being transferred during direct contact.

However, if the viewer is a biological subject, then SCP-XXXX will insert itself into the subject only if the subject visually views it (any other senses will not result in SCP-XXXX infection). SCP-XXXX will then transform into a biological virus when entering a biological subject. The virus will appear within the bloodstream and thereafter cause differing intensities of damage from host-to-host, and will continue to infect other subjects if the subject makes visual contact with an infected host.

Tests conclude that the resulting biological virus is semi-random, as the bio-virus will almost always function and will usually cause damage to biological hosts, including death. However, no constant symptoms have been reported as of yet.

Addendum XXXX.1: Testing Logs

Context: D-90324 instructed to read a infected SCP-XXXX document, the infected document was recovered from a infected Webbot AOL-43, and submitted into a computer via unknown means.
Result: D-90324 is confused and refuses to read the document. After encouragement, D-90324 complies and reads the infected document out-loud. No symptoms appeared until approximately 212 days later on May 16 (2023), in which D-90324 started to rapidly begin to have seizures, and was diagnosed with status-epilepticus from medical staff. Seizures abruptly ended on May 18 (2023), with silence after. It is presumed that D-90324 expired immediately after the seizures, likely from post-ictal suppression within the brain-stem. As it was expected prior to D-90324's seizures that no effects occurred, at least 102 personnel are currently infected by D-90324.

Context: D-40333 is instructed to read an infected SCP-XXXX document.
Result: D-40333 complies without encouragement. D-40333 reads the document in her head. Symptoms occur approximately 23 hours after reading, in which subject shows symptoms of a mild fever. No other symptoms reported after 2 years. D-40333 is terminated after the 2 year mark via an airborne lethal gas.

Context: D-40333 is instructed to "look at the computer and then wait.".
Result: No effd910
