General Information

Hello, I am Researcher OrcusleoiResearcher Orcusleoi.
Welcome to my Sandbox page; I appreciate you viewing this page! I am wanting to grow a better understanding of the website and want to increase the quality of my authorship. I do not have much experience with Wikidot and would appreciate input to be directed towards my Wikidot messages as I would probably respond the fastest.

I want to publish my work on the main site after I gain sufficient experience in creating anomalies. To be honest, I just want the ability to say that I contributed something to the community, instead of being a social hermit. I have constantly had an interest in the paranormal but I was mostly interested in writing until I had combined the two and ever since then I have become who I am today. But honestly, I am more interested in the human imagination because of unlimited human creativity because anyone could come up with anything conceivable by us.

Item #: SCP-8374

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-8374 is to be held in a completely spherical containment cell made of tempered glass and a reinforced outer layer of carbon fiber filament. Cell is to be filled daily with liquid uranium, and to be held at [data redacted] degrees Celsius ([data redacted] degrees Fahrenheit). Subject is to be observed by level 5 clearance armed staff around the clock. If any sign of movement comes from 8374, immediately open fire with [data redacted] caliber ammunition. Under NO circumstances is 8374 allowed to do anything outside of procedures listed above. Any breach of this rule will cause prosecutor to be terminated by means of grade 1 Heroin and grade 1 amnesiac administered by syringe to external carotid artery. Body is to then be cremated ashes are to be disposed of in an undisclosed location.

Description: SCP-8374 is an extremely large ([data redacted] lbs.) snake-like creature capable of mass destruction. Liquid uranium is the only known substance that can keep it at bay, and [data redacted] caliber lead bullets seem to have a stalling effect. It has one recorded escape, due to an ignorant staff not reading the memo about uranium. However, it was an absolute disaster. 3,158 were killed and 1,293 more were injured. Class 1 amnesiacs had to be administered to thousands, severely dwindling the supply.

Addendum: Log start. 9/13/19
Doctor wells memo:re:all staff on site 17:subject:SCP-8374
Attention site 17 staff: 8374's holding cell is to be filled daily with liquid uranium. Not completing this progress will likely end in disaster.
Staff #322:*whistles*
Staff #451: Hey red, did you get the new memo?
Staff #322: Nah, I'll read it later.
Staff #451: I dunno if that's a good idea…
Staff #322: Aw, come on. I'll take you for lunch.
Staff #451: I'm in!

Anomalous Properties

- Lack of Aging
- Organ Reconstruction
- Spontaneous Resuscitation After Death

Collected Background Information

Most of Agent Vantas' life is obscured by the simple fact that the majority of documentation on him has been destroyed or lost over time, or is simply nonexistent. This is a symptom of both his age (estimated to be at least 140 years) and his transient nature. Due to this, research staff assigned to this case have very little concrete evidence of his whereabouts and must rely on interviews with Agent Vantas to fill in the gaps.

Agent Vantas was detained by the SCP Foundation in Site-██, May 3, 1995, in Svalbard, Norway, after Foundation forces found him in combat with an uncontained anomalous entity being tracked by MTF Delta-4, "Rogatinas". The entity was contained and Agent Vantas was brought in for questioning. Items confiscated on detainment include 1 Mosin-Nagant style bolt-action rifle fitted with a bayonet (returned after induction), 1 1796 Model Light Cavalry Saber (returned after induction), 1 Beretta 92-F 9mm Handgun (returned after induction), and a bundle of 34 laminated documents apparently taken from GRU Division "P" detailing both known and previously unknown anomalies (not returned).

Agent Vantas claims to have been born in Hungary during the 1800s, now Czechoslovakia. While this claim remains consistent, he seems to have difficulty remembering this part of his past; stories that he tells from that time often conflict, and when pressed for details he complains of headaches, and becomes easily distracted.

Agent Vantas claims to have served the Russian Imperial Army under the banner of the Czechoslovak Legion during World War I, describing it as a "miserable affair". In Interview NS114-2, Agent Vantas claims to have worked with Team "Anglerfish" in the GOC during the second World War, naming his teammates as "Jack Gan" AKA "Tomcat", "Fishhook", and "Snapper". His service to the GOC began in 1939, and ended in 1949 after the death of Jack Gan.

Agent Vantas stated during Interview NS114-1 that he was coerced into service to GRU-P in 1969, claiming that he was forced to work under the unit's banner for approximately 20 years, until the unit's disbandment in 1989 allowed him to escape, taking a number of documents detailing both known and unknown anomalous creatures with him, describing the anomalies within as "good beasties for hunting". At this point, Agent Vantas began to traverse Europe by foot and by hitchhiking, hunting the creatures described in the documents.

Research staff have discovered several photographs that seem to depict Agent Vantas back to 1891. When presented with the photographs, Agent Vantas claimed that they were indeed him. Presented photos were dated 1943, 1917, and 1891.

Addendum 1:

On December 15, 1995, Agent L. files and endorses a petition to Director ████ at Site-██ to grant Drake Vantas the status of Agent.
December 22, 1995, Director ████ approves Drake Vantas' agent status on the following stipulations:
- Drake Vantas must undergo standard Foundation Agent and MTF training.
- Drake Vantas must be monitored at all times via implanted chip and tracking bracelet.
- Drake Vantas must be accompanied by Agent M. Asulf when outside of Foundation facilities at all times.
- Drake Vantas will not be granted above Level 1 Security Clearance at any time unless given permission by staff with Level 3 Security Clearance or higher.

December 27, 1995, Drake Vantas begins formal induction into the SCP Foundation, including full MTF training. Concluded November 28, 1997. Agent Vantas was at this point placed within MTF Delta-4, housed at Site-██ until further notice.

Addendum 2:

Personal note of Agent P. MacConnelly Re: Drake Vantas

On paper, Drake Vantas might seem like some kind of un-killable super-soldier. This is not the case. Yes, he has a great deal of experience. Yes, he has anomalous super-powers. He is also tiny, unfocused, and immature. A little manchild does not a super-soldier make.
Laika seems to have taken a shine to the kid, and applied for him to become an agent. Not a call I would have made, mind you, but maybe she sees something I don't. Personally, I think he belongs in an orange jumpsuit.

In addition, while Drake could represent a valuable resource to the Foundation because of his abilities, he also represents a serious liability because of his questionable allegiances. Seriously, are we really letting GRU-P skips be agents now? We don't know if he's still working for GRU-P or even the GOC.

It is my belief that Drake Vantas should not be considered for agent status, and should instead be classified as an SCP.

- Agent P. MacConnelly, December 24, 1995

4/18/21 to do:
- Slim down sections on abilities (here AND on the forum)
- Add more detailed section on collected history. readers should be interested in the CHARACTER, not his powers.
- Dig into his history. Name units, actions, link him to in-universe events and SCPs.
- Contact more butterfly squad members. you need TWO greenlights!

4/24/21 to do:
- check grammar
- find second greenlight
- plan interview log 5 and the event log
- figure out scp to breach containment

Ideas for mtf name:
Snowbirds
Skaadi's Dogs
Polaris
Valkyries

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Containment Class: Euclid
Disruption Class: Vlam
Risk Class: Danger (Formerly Caution)
Clearance Requirements: Restricted (Formerly Unrestricted)

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard cell, furnished with one twin bed, one sofa, a deck of cards, and a large bookshelf to have new reading material cycled through on a weekly basis. Other requested materials by the anomaly are to be approved by the site director. One guard is to be stationed outside of her cell at all times to ensure no unauthorized personnel enter. Due to her cooperative nature, any guards dealing with SCP-XXXX are to attempt to resolve conflict peacefully if possible. However, during durations where SCP-XXXX must be separated from SCP-XXXX-A, or SCP-XXXX-B for more than six hours, an on-site psychologist briefed on the abilities of SCP-XXXX may be stationed in her cell if one is available and the site director allows it. SCP-XXXX has reacted positively to the presence of Dr. Dixon Woods for this purpose, and as such, they will be stationed in Site-██ for this purpose among others

Any authorized interactions and tests with SCP-XXXX are to be done while SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B are kept in a wooden chest in the same room.

Temporary Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is not to be allowed to perform with SCP-XXXX-B on her person without express permission by the Site Director. Any violations of this are to be met with a tranquilizer shot administered via turret that must stay installed in her cell. This will stay in place until such a time when SCP-XXXX-B can be used safely.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a 37 year old human female by the legal name of █████ █████ previously employed as an illusionist in a travelling show. She is approximately 155 centimeters tall and weighs approximately 39 kilograms. She is often observed in very flowy dresses and elaborate outfits when permitted access to them. She is generally very flamboyant, with a great deal of showmanship when she is aware of observers, but has been very cooperative with the Foundation past the troubles that her social characteristics bring. She has shown a will to want to entertain and "make people happy" and can perform sleight of hand magic tricks when she has the materials to do so. While the tricks are impressive, there is no indication of them being anomalous. In addition, SCP-XXXX shows no signs of being an anomalous entity on her own, instead enabling SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B as far as research has indicated.

SCP-XXXX harbors an unreasonable connection towards her personal possessions on her person at the time of containment, and will grow increasingly distressed while separated, mostly trying to get to the items by charm and persuasion. Most notable of these are a top hat with a red bow (SCP-XXXX-A), a traditional fake magic wand (SCP-XXXX-B), and a non-anomalous series of fantasy novels.

SCP-XXXX-A is a black felt top hat, 21 centimeters tall, with a red ribbon and red polka dot bow tied at its base. The hat, when isolated, shows no anomalous properties.

SCP-XXXX seems to have the ability to detect the thoughts, intent, and emotional state of living fauna within 20 meters while wearing SCP-XXXX-A. This anomalous behavior has been confirmed to be accurate with 99.3% precision by human subjects, although it is unknown if the ability translates to non-human subjects as there is no way to confirm if SCP-XXXX's readings match the thoughts of those subjects at this time.

SCP-XXXX-B is a wooden wand from a children's set, 30 centimeters long with a black and silver spiraling pattern. It, akin to SCP-XXXX-A, shows no anomalous ability to human senses, but when revealed to SCP-████, it was heavily repulsed by the instrument, claiming it had to "destroy the demon within" with a violent outburst to follow3

SCP-XXXX seems to be able to use SCP-XXXX-B during performances of hers in a therapeutic manner, those having witnessed most of the show reported being more neutral in feeling, and occasionally experience memory loss, typically consisting of incidents of negative emotional weight, and a subjects affected are reported to be "a little less like themselves" afterwards. This effect is greatened in volunteers, if any are needed, with the same, if not lessened, downsides.

SCP-XXXX was discovered when the Foundation received an anonymous tip about "actual goddamned magic" being performed at a hotel lounge in Las Vegas. Agent Blyden, who was between assignments at the time, was tasked to investigate. Agent Blyden determined that the illusions presented in the stage show were, in fact, non-anomalous. However, after the show, they were approached by the magician, who openly asked them about the Foundation. Although Agent Blyden volunteered no information about the Foundation and stuck to their cover story, the persistence of SCP-XXXX's questioning convinced Agent (whatever) that SCP-XXXX was somehow reading their mind. SCP-XXXX allowed themselves to be taken into custody without incident. After the incident, Agent Blyden was recalled, and extensive debriefing revealed gaps in their memory going back 17 years.

SCP-6705 file photo, 2021.

Archived Containment Procedures: SCP-6705 is to be held in a standard humanoid containment chamber with two security personnel of standard on-site security stationed outside of the containment area at all times. Under no circumstances are in-person interviews to be conducted, as the likelihood of a breach of containment proves interviews obsolete.

Item #: SCP-████

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-████ is to be kept in a containment cell similar to an indoor orangutan enclosure with a pool and a rock climbing wall.

SCP-████ has basic human needs and will be given three meals a day that conform to the basic food groups but will not be allowed to have food generally considered bad for animals like such as alcohol, caffeine, anything containing xylitol. Subject is to be given a 10 hour bedtime between 11:00 PM and 9:00 AM. Subject may request books, toys, clothes, and an MP3 Player in which it can request new songs to be added. Any other requests must be aproved by Site-Command.

Staff are allowed to visit the subject in an observation room separated by a glass wall. Any staff suspected of getting attached to SCP-████ will be moved to a different site.

In case of containment breach subject is to be sedated (with tranquilizers if needed).

(Containment procedures no longer apply as SCP-████ is no longer in Foundation custody, see Addendum ████.3 for details)

Description: SCP-████ is a humanoid shapeshifter capable of turning into any existing animal (both vertebrates and invertebrates included). In human form it takes the appearance of a caucasian female (approximately 12 to 14 years old) with reddish-brown hair and eyes as well as freckles on the nose and cheeks. It can change either it’s entire body or just parts of it.

Blood tests have show that whenever it shapeshifts it’s DNA will change to resemble the DNA of whatever animal it has turned into will still being uniqe to the subject. When is shapeshift it will possess the abilities and instincts of whatever it changes into. While subject will loose the ability to speak and behave more animalistic when fully in animal from it will still remain in control of itself.

Subject and only change into creatures that actually exist and still do exist. Subject can’t transform into mythical or extinct creatures but it can transform into endangered species. When asked if it could change into other SCPs it responded with “I don’t know, maybe?” It is believed it can turn into other SCPs but only after it has been introduced to them. Requests to have SCP-████ meet with other SCPs has been denied.

While SCP-████ is not immediately hostile it will attack if threatened or if someone is wearing a uniform similar to or like standard issue G.O.C. tactical gear. It is suspected that it suffers trauma as a result of the Global Occult Coalition’s actions. While subject is usually cooperative with staff it has been known to talk back.

Discovery: SCP-████ was recovered from a Serpent’s Hand Base in (REDACTED) by MTF squad (REDACTED). The Moble Task Force was tiped off about strange people and unusual activity in the area. They stormed the building and re-captured various items.

SCP-████ was found standing over the maimed body of a man believed to be held prisoner by the Serpent’s Hand. The man was later identified as a G.O.C. operative and SCP-████ had killed him. While subject was sedated before containment.

Addendum ████.1: First interview with the subject.

Dr. (REDACTED): Good morning ████.

SCP-XXXX: That’s not my name.

Dr. (REDACTED): I’m just following protocol.

SCP-XXXX: I don’t care about your stupid “protocol”! My name is (REDACTED).

Dr. (REDACTED): If I recall that name means animal, correct?

SCP-████: That’s what my parents told me.

Dr. (REDACTED): And where are you parents?

SCP-████: Gone.

Dr. (REDACTED): Dead?

SCP-████ nods.

Dr. (REDACTED): I see.

Dr. (REDACTED) writes on the clipboard.

Dr. (REDACTED): Did your parents know about your powers?

SCP-████: Their the reason I got em.

Dr. (REDACTED): They were shapeshifters also?

SCP-████: Yes.

Dr. (REDACTED): Are there more of you?

SCP-████: Aside from my parents, not any that I’ve ever met. And if they ever told me about others I don’t remeber what they said. I was only 4 when they…

SCP-████ stops talking.

Dr. (REDACTED): Can you tell me what happened to them?

SCP-████ remains silent.

Dr. (REDACTED): I had previously read the report on you. It states that the Serpent’s Hand had captured a G.O.C. operative. And then you killed him. Is there a reason as to why?

SCP-████: I don’t know what they had planned for him but frankly I don’t care either. That man was scum! The lowest of the low. A worthless piece shit who deserved die! I was told not to but I did it anyway.

Dr. (REDACTED): This man in particular, or the G.O.C. as a whole.

SCP-████: The Book Burners. All of them!

Dr. (REDACTED): I know G.O.C. has a history of destroying anomalies. Did they kill your parents?

SCP-████ stared at the researcher.

Dr. (REDACTED): Well, as enlightening as this session was I’m afraid I have to move on to other things. We’ll continue this another time.

Addendum ████.2: Second interview with subject.

Dr. (REDACTED): Hello again ████.

SCP-████: They we’re right about you. You don’t care about people like me unless we’re either out in the open or in cages!

Dr. (REDACTED): And by “they” do you mean the Serpent’s Hand?

SCP-████: No, The Manna Charitable Foundation. Who the fuck did you think I was talking about jackass?!

Dr. (REDACTED): You shouldn’t even know who they are. I’m guessing the Hand must of told you about them.

SCP-████: Not really. I just tend to overhear things. I can literally have the eardrums of a dolphin!

Dr. (REDACTED): That reminds me: how did you come into contact with the Serpent’s Hand?

SCP-████: Easy, they found us!

Dr. (REDACTED): “Us”?

SCP-████: Me and Dad.

Dr. (REDACTED): I thought you said your parents were dead.

SCP-████: I meant my adoptive dad.

Dr. (REDACTED): I don’t believe you’ve mention him before. Is he with the Hand.

SCP-████: Yes. He’s the reason I’m still alive. He saved me. And we were perfectly fine until you Jailers stole me from him!

Dr. (REDACTED): I don’t suppose you think he died during the raid do you?

SCP-████: No way! Not my dad! He’s been in way worse situations before. And I know he’ll come after me.

Dr. (REDACTED): And why do you think that?

SCP-████: He promised he’d protect me.

Dr. (REDACTED): Just because he promised that doesn’t mean he can keep it.

SCP-████: Dad says he never goes back on his word.

Dr. (REDACTED): They all say that.

SCP-████ turns it’s head and shrugs

SCP-████: Whatever.

Dr. (REDACTED): Can you tell me how you two met?

SCP-████: You just ridiculed him and you wanna…
Fine! Whatever! It was right before my parents died.

Dr. (REDACTED) tilts his head with curiosity.

SCP-████: When I was very young my parents told me that I had special powers and that I shouldn’t tell anyone, but I did! I had a neighbor my age. I wanted to play with her. I showed her my powers, she thought they were cool. But the fun ended after her mom saw me transform.

I had to tell my parents what happened. They panicked. We started packing. My mom hoped that maybe whoever that girl’s mom reports to won’t believe her, but someone did. When my dad saw through the window these strange soldiers apper we ran out the back and into a forest nearby. We hid in a cave but they found us.

One of soldiers came in, he pointed a gun at us. My dad stood in front of us while my mom held me close. I thought he was gonna kill us but I saw he was shaking. I looked into his eyes and I saw fear, hesitation, guilt. He lowered his weapon, then I heard a shot.

A woman in the same uniform came from behind the soldier and killed my dad. She killed my mom shortly after that. She was gonna shot me but the other soldier stop her, and killed her. When more came he shot at them. It’s a bit of blur after that but the next thing I remember is that same soldier carrying me and running.

He looked behind him a few times. He stop running and we hid in a bush. We came out when it was safe. He threw his uniform in a nearby river and we were on the road for a few years. And then the Serpent’s Hand found us. They promised to keep me safe if the man agreed to help them in their cause in creating a better future for people like me.

That soldier, that man, became my new father. Everything he does and continues to do is for me, so that I can live in a world where I can be me and not in fear of being locked up or killed for simply being what I am, and I love him for that. I know he’ll come for me, and when he does you’d better be ready.

Dr. (REDACTED): That was quite informative ████. I’ll be sure to add this your file.

SCP-████: Like I said: they were right about you. We really are just letters and numbers to you. You don’t think I’m human at all!

Dr. (REDACTED): I’m just doing my job, don’t take this personally.

SCP-████: Go to Hell.

Addendum ████.3: As of ██/██/████ SCP-████ is no longer in Foundation custody as a result of a Serpent’s Hand raid on Site-(REDACTED). The senior researcher that was put in charge of interviewing SCP-████ was killed during the raid. SCP-████’s current whereabouts are unknown.6

SCP-6000 in it's contaiment

Item #: SCP-6000

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: [Paragraphs explaining the procedures]

Description: The SCP is classic red notebook A4 formated with clean white pages. Notebook shows some acts of it's narcistic personality, besides reacting differently, from aggressive or passive way on the input contents. The reactions can be classified as brutal, aggressive or passive depending on the different impulsivity of the reactions.

Reaction can be triggered by writing on the SCP's pages or any kind of the drawing or sketch which can represent the negative or positive compliment, if the written or draw content are made rough, fast, impulsive the more "annoyed" SCP will become and expressing it's reaction to subject brutally or in the other hand if the written or draw content are made lighter, slower, carefully the SCP will be passive. The direction of the compliment written or drawn should not affect SCP's different reaction.

Reactions can be followed by the emotions SCP's expressing (See the test logs) like tearing.

Item #: SCP-7001

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: [SCP-7001 is to be kept in a 3m x 3m x 3m containment cell complete with five(5) inch thick soundproof steel walls. It is kept on a Dell PowerCore processor with at least 5 staff trained in computer programming monitoring SCP-7001's presence.]

Description: [SCP-7001, codename Cyber, is a life form similar to a sentient computer virus. It possesses electronic devices and uses them for mischief. It does not seem to be overly hostile, as there is only one reported fatality, when SCP-7001 possessed a C4 detonator and blew up the north wing of a military base (see SCP-7001-A). It is slowed, although not stopped entirely, by solid objects. No sound is to be made near the SCP, as it appears to travel by attaching itself to sound waves, taking advantage of sounds as low as [data expunged] decibels.]

Addendum: SCP-7001-A

The Society for Chartering the Paranormal

California Chapter

Potential Anomaly #: PA-5XXX

Description: A black, unused Endless Pages notebook[[footnote]]A book that possesses the ability to spawn a new amount of pages when it is full, allowing unlimited writing in it. Most Endless Pages sold so far have originated from trade with entities from other dimensions, with only one successful creation of an Endless Page in this dimension by three Deer University seniors as part of their Finals project.[[/footnote] with the supposed ability to resist the effect of chronal loops, and impart that effect to its holder. Lent to the SCP by Ramon Buscador, who claims to have been unaffected by a time loop that occurred in his town (five loops, five minutes interval) while holding it.

Currently being researched by Nicholas "O'Clock" Zhong.

…..

Good news: Buscador was right: the power of a closed time rewind this book can allow its holder to surpass.

Bad news: the whole world is in a time
