Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Instances of SCP-XXXX are currently isolated and secured in their place of origin, as the reallocation of each instance, have so far proven to be impossible. The process of containment that used to be at first simple, are exponentialy becoming more complex, because of that, the Foundation elevated the class of SCP-XXXX from Safe to Euclid. Amnestics are to be admnistered on all non Foundation personnel that had contact with SCP-XXXX. Places of origin should be isolated for supposed further policial investigation while bureaucratic maneuvers are made to confiscate it from possible relatives to the previous owner. Afterwards, the place of origin is then granted to a Foundation disguised agent. Agents are to secure the place being disguised as civilians. Minimum social interaction from civilians around place of origin is advised and allowing the entrance of any non Foundation individual on the place of origin is prohibited.
The room where the instance of SCP-XXXX is located should be isolated by normal concrete, drywall or wood, in dimensions or methods that will depend on the composition of the room, in a way that it made it looks that the room doesnt exist. Being near instances of SCP-XXXX is not advised, although there is no risk in doing so as the (possible) cognitohazard properties of SCP-XXXX will eventually disperse one focus on it. The containment procedure for each case is overall simple, however, the pattern of reocurrence of SCP-XXXX is currently unknown by The Foundation and therefore, uncontained.
Description: SCP-XXXX are black spheres of 1.5m in diameter made of graphite according to molecular composition analysis. The surface of these spheres is completely smooth, there are no markings, cracks or engravings. Although composition is irrevokable "graphite", instances of SCP-XXXX display the following anomalous characteristics: The black spheres are at first described as indestructible, but on a closer inspection it is proven to be unreachable. That conclusion was taken based on several tests where no know material (ordinary or anomalous) were able to hit, pierce through or even interact with SCP-XXXX.
More details on the elements tested against SCP-XXXX were documented in Addendum 01-A, that is in a log format, all entries with the same result of no interaction being detected. A few anomalous objects were tested for mixed but overall mild results (details on the Addendum 03-A), but mostly, no relevant interaction was detected.
The characteristics of an instance of SCP-XXXX is but one aspect of the anomaly itself. The reocurrence and spread of the instances is another. After the first instance was discovered (2000), more black spheres started to appear around the world. The direction of the curve chart that describe the reocurrence is currently unpredictable, with an so far unknown pattern of peaks and plateus with different behaviours in different areas of the world. Considering that no sphere ever disappeared, the number of instances of SCP-XXXX is increasing. As mentioned above, this aspect grant the anomaly its Euclid status as The Foundation is worried about what exactly is causing instances of SCP-XXXX to keep appearing and how can it be contained, also, the appearance of a sphere is followed by the disappearance of the civilian in its place of origin.
Addendum 01-A: Log of tests conducted on SCP-XXXX
This document follows the log format, where researchers of The Foundation (designed as Team A), Class D personnel and mobile task force units, perform and describe technical tests and observations on SCP-XXXX. Another group of researchers focused on analysis of the interaction of SCP-XXXX on human beings and their behaviour was later assigned (Team B). The document is too extense to be described here, as objectively the Foundation tried several procedures on the sphere and index on the file. The file is currently on digital format on servers present on Site-Z. Samples:
- Log #8 (23/01/2000 09:04) Team A - Tests on the ambience of SCP-XXXX were conducted. No unusual levels were identified on temperature, air quality, radio frequency, light, radiation, eletromagnetic field around SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX don't change the levels of previously mentioned aspects in any way. SCP-XXXX is still unreachable and unresponsive.
- Log #27 (28/01/200 10:00) Team A - An attempt to mark with quick-drying ink was made on the sphere. The surface of the sphere rejected the permanence of the paint, which dissolved in a liquid state and dried on the floor, near the sphere.
- Log #90 (29/01/2000 06:00) Team A - No abnormal effects were observed later on the paint spot. SCP-XXXX is still unreachable and unresponsive.
- Log #890 (21/10/2002 05:00) Team A - After events of Log #889, the member of Team A that had contact with SCP-XXXX was tested for radiation, blood levels, temperature and physical response. Nothing unusual found. SCP-XXXX is still unreachable and unresponsive.
- Log #891 (21/10/2002 05:30) Team B - During test described on Log #889, a member of Team A, had an anxiety rush that lead him to enter the room of SCP-XXXX and violently hit the sphere without proper safety equipment. Fortunately (or unfortunately), no harm was caused to the member of Team A that was shortly removed from the room by security personnel responsible for Site-Z. Although that was an unacceptable behaviour out of the Foundation Standards we took oportunity to interview the member. He stated that does not feel anything different other then the usual frustration of testing on SCP-XXXX which was the reason that lead him to attack it, when asked about his mental and emotional state. He mentions that on a physical state he felt a mild cold in his body while near SCP-XXXX. The sensation ended after being dragged away from it. As a security measure we will contact O5 Council to commend a reassingment of this member, as this event might be caused by a possible cognitohazard effect of SCP-XXXX.
- Log #904 (05/11/2002 06:00) Team A - After the events happened on Log #889, and aproval of O5 Council, we decided that we are comfortable in conduct tests with direct human contact on SCP-XXXX. A Class-D was instructed to touch the sphere and be around it. He was instructed that in case of feel any compulsion to do something, to try to describe the feeling before do it.
- Log #905 (05/11/2002 15:05) Team A - Class-D was observed for aproximately 8 hours for no results or any relevant behaviour. Nothing unusual found on tests made like in Log #890. Class-D was dismissed for interview with Team B, and will later be assigned to another site. SCP-XXXX is still unreachable and unresponsive.
- Log #906 (05/11/2002 15:06) Team A - Team A will take a break for now and return tomorrow for further testing.
- Log #1116 (06/12/2003 00:03) Team A - A test with a sledgehammer (drop forged high carbon steel head, hardened and tempered, ground and polished striking face, vibration damping fiberglass shaft without shock absorbing rubber collar) was conducted, where a Class-D tried to hit and potentially break the sphere. On a hit, no sound was heard, no shock or vibration was detected on the sphere, hammer and body of the test subject, however the course of the hammer swing is somehow interrupted when it hits the position in space of the sphere. SCP-XXXX is still unreachable and unresponsive.
- Log #4664 (24/12/2005 19:07) Team A - We decided to destroy floor below SCP-XXXX after get permission from a direct meeting with O5 Council. As usual, we prefer not to interact much with the enviroment around any SCP, but considering the lack of success on testing, we need to conduct unusual tests.
- Log #4665 (25/12/2005 04:30) Team A - The floor below was destroyed on the time of this Log by the use of explosives. SCP-XXXX also does not seems to interact with gravity, as its position is somehow fixed in its place of origin space, impossible to be moved. SCP-XXXX is still unreachable and unresponsive.
- Log #6648 (27/02/2008 19:07) Team A - Info provided by Global Occult Coalision will now be attached in this Log as they update us. This action was authorized by O5 Council. It looks like they also cannot get any valid results from testing in SCP-XXXX.
- Log #6649 (27/02/2008 19:08) From GOC Logs - A RPG-7V2 Model (capable of firing standard and dual high explosive anti-tank (HEAT) rounds, high explosive/fragmentation, and thermobaric warheads, with a UP-7V sighting device) wasn't able to destroy the black sphere.
- Log #6694 (05/11/2008 04:35) Team A - Explosives were tested against a instance of SCP-XXXX in place of origin located in [REDACTED]. We chose this place because is in on a more remote place if compared to Site-Z. As per usual, no relevant results. SCP-XXXX is still unreachable and unresponsive.
- Log #8409 (21/06/2009 12:00) Team A - A hydraulic press developed by The Foundation Team [REDACTED] will be tested against SCP-XXXX tonight. Cast in ductile iron, weigh as much as 250 tons each, yard-thick steel bolts are also 78 feet long. The machine weighs 16 million pounds, and when activated its eight main hydraulic cylinders deliver up to 50,000 tons of compressive force. If the logistics could somehow be worked out, it could bench-press the battleship Iowa, with 860 tons to spare. We are looking forward for the results.
- Log #8410 (22/06/2009 00:00) Team A - SCP-XXXX is still unreachable and unresponsive.
- Log #8664 (23/01/2010 07:00) Team A - A birthday cake was thrown against SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX is still unreachable and unresponsive.
- Log #8904 (23/01/2016 07:00) Team A - We are awaiting further instructions from O5 Council or Team B regarding clues, possible interation with other anomalous objects or new ideas on testing on SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX is still unreachable and unresponsive.
Several tests were made and documented in this log format during 16 years of investigation. including more resistant solid materials, lifeform interactions, liquids, gases, radio frequency, light, radiation and eletromagnetism. Finally, after all finesse approaches were tested, advanced machinery (such as wrecking balls, press machines and specific devices developed by The Foundation with the purpose of cause damage on the spheres) all sorts of weapons were also tested (no Class-X explosives were tested and are out of option due to the risk of exposing SCP-XXXX on dense populated areas). Most of the data regarding the attempts of destroying SCP-XXXX were actually provided by the Global Occult Coalision, that is working in this case alongside The Foundation.
The Logs show some interesting patterns:
- On initial years of research, more details were provided by researchers, with all aspects of the procedures conducted being described following The Foundation standards.
- As the year passes, is noticeable that those logs were becoming more neglected by the researchers, seemingly expressing their frustration, on later logs being simple sentences describing the lack of results.
- No more than aproximately 8 hours of uninterrupted tests were performed per day, usually with logs describing that a break were needed and tests should continue on next day.
O5 Council decided that a rotation of researchers is needed due to the frustrating nature of testing on SCP-XXXX. This characteristic is currently being analised by psychologic and behaviour researchers outside Site-Z (Team B) to determine if that is a cognitohazard characteristic of SCP-XXXX or just common human reaction to frustration on the tests. The data on those patterns were provided by this team, so far results are inconclusive and these data are in between Addendum 01-A, being indexed as a test of human perception against SCP-XXXX. This same team later would take the responsability of analising psychological patterns on people disappearing on SCP-XXXX places of origin (Addendum 01-B).
Addendum 02-A: On Site-Z and locals of origin containing instances of SCP-XXXX
This document provides adresses of all places of origin of instances of SCP-XXXX and it is also found in digital format on Site-Z servers.
There are currently [REDACTED] instances of SCP-XXXX around the world. Data gathered shows that majority of cases ocurred in Europe (mostly Russia and East Europe countries) with North America coming next and predicted to overcome top countries in the next [DATA EXPUNGED] years according to the curve analised in these cases. The last research and statistics measurement was conducted in 2016, when The Foundation elevated the class level of SCP-XXXX.
Site-Z is located on [REDACTED], London, England. Site-Z is the place of origin where the first instance of SCP-XXXX were found by the Foundation in 2000. This site is the only actual facility of the Foundation dedicated on a research of this anomaly where the whole building (a residential apartment building belonging to a private company) was isolated and bureaucratic maneuvers were fabricated by the Foundation to acquire it and is now said to be a governmental research building, being the only place related to SCP-XXXX heavily guarded and inspected as the research goes on. Depending on the needs of tests conducted, other places might take place other then Site-Z, but only this first facility were indexed as an official site.
Other instances of SCP-XXXX with the exactly same properties begun to appear, throughout the world in an unpredictable manner, those were just contained and isolated from public following the default containment procedure. Those sites or in this case, places of origin, as they were described later, are usually general houses and appartments in dense populated areas of the world. Usually those residences were habitated by people who lived alone and were most of the times described as recluse or solitary, although that is not an absolute rule. As mentioned above, the appearance of an sphere is followed by disappearance of the owner of the residence (Some of those people earn their place on Addendun 03-B, due to their potential info on patterns about SCP-XXXX). Usually instances of SCP-XXXX are reported by local authorities when searching for the missing person.
After the increase of reocurrence is noticed, the Foundation decided to insert agents infiltrated on local police of those dense populated areas set to handle ocurrence of SCP-XXXX on a more agile approach, that decision was made close to the date when SCP-XXXX had its level raised from Safe to Euclid (2016).
Addendum 03-A: On the anomalous interactions with SCP-XXXX
This document is a research conducted by Team A regarding some tests made with other anomalies on the instance of SCP-XXXX on the first place of origin (Site-Z). Few experiments have been conducted involving other SCPs, due to the nature of many of them being dangerous or impossible to test. Each request for permission to test other SCPs was taken to the O5 Council, which settled disputes between Team A researchers and researchers at other sites over the tests.
This document also follows the log format, however, each entry is titled on the SCP being tested towards SCP-XXXX, some of the logs can be read below:
- SCP-049 (23/01/2005 07:00) Team A - SCP-049 (a.k.a The Plague Doctor) was assigned to close inspection on an instance of SCP-XXXX due to his anomalous methods of analysis as they could provide some insight on the nature of SCP-XXXX. After a thorough period of observation with his unusual tests, SCP-049 concludes on a brief observation provided for Team A: "It is now spreading, whether I'm here or not."
- SCP-343 (27/02/2006 06:02) Team A - SCP-343 (a.k.a God) was assigned to close inspection on the instance of SCP-XXXX due to his anomalous reality bending abilities and supportive attitude towards The Foundation. SCP-343 was able to easily teleport to Site-Z room where the first instance of SCP-XXXX was being analised. For the first time, researchers noticed an expression of concern in contrast of his usual stoic and positive attitude. SCP-343 described that, he understands what SCP-XXXX is and could even put an end to its anomalous spread, but wouldn't be a "proper decision" to do so and The Foundation should not put too much efforts in understanding it on this moment.
- SCP-999 (21/10/2007 05:20) Team B - SCP-999 (a.k.a Tickle Monster) was assigned to close inspection on the instance of SCP-XXXX after an theory of a member of Team B being related to state of mental health of the missing citizens related to the anomaly. On this test SCP-999 approach the instance of SCP-XXXX and after a period of 1 minute and 29 seconds of observation, SCP-999 left it alone, and moves toward the exit, with his usual happy expression, looking for another Foundation member in need of its help.
- SCP-682 (23/06/2009 00:00) Team A - After the failed tests described on on Log #8409 (Addendum 01-A), we requested interaction of SCP-682 (a.k.a Hard to Destroy Reptile) to O5 Council. O5 Council denied the request, stating that its too much of a risk move SCP-682 to the highly populated areas where instances of SCP-XXXX appear.
- SCP-187 (23/03/2012 08:00) Team A - Due to her precognitive abilities, SCP-187 (a.k.a Double Vision) was assigned to Site-Z to observe the instance of SCP-XXXX. She reported later that, she doesn't see anything different in this case, and the instance of SCP-XXXX is presented to her as everyone else sees it, a black sphere. However she mentioned, that it is not the first time she saw an instance of SCP-XXXX and also mentioned that that she saw an instance of SCP-XXXX in her site.
Some other tests were conducted, commonly with sapient anomalies that that are willing to support The Foundation, but results are usually the same, where said anomalies doesn't really seems to understand or are able to interact in a relevant way with SCP-XXXX.
Addendum 01-B: On the civilians related to SCP-XXXX
This document is a research conducted by Team B, during latest years of Team A failed tests on SCP-XXXX. It follows a format of a subject analysis per person, where researchers of Team B would briefly describe characteristics of each person and some aspects of their life searching for patterns to correlate to SCP-XXXX. This data was gathered by documents, diaries, interviews, digital info on social media and personal info provided by government agents supporting The Foundation. The document is also too extense to be described here, some of the samples were selected as displayed below:
Subject #1A
Name: [REDACTED]
Age: 53
Place of Origin: [REDACTED], London, England
Job: Music Composer
Description: According to information gathered, Subject 1B was a music composer that provided lyrics and composition to several english artists in the underground music scene. He never release a song on his own name or were part of a musical group. He was specialized in more melancholic motifs and there is actually several successful songs there are composed by him, but were credited to other artists in deals that were agreeded on both sides. A very few producers in this musical scene are aware of this information, and we're able to conclude it by analysing his financial transitions, privileged information provided by government agents and by the drafts found in their home compared to those songs.
Analysing his music, we see that he always followed his signature of melancholic and dramatic lyrics that display themes of cynical views of the world, difficult in understand its place in it, existential questions and the struggle between conscience and emotion. This lyrics are usually accompanied with more atonal and dissonant melodies, followed by more atmospheric instruments that help in achievement of his usual motif. On his latest drafts we see a reocurrence of themes regarding the dissociation of itself and escape of reality followed by criptic messages regarding his latest dreams.
Information about his life follows a general middle class family child, that grow up with his creativity focused on music and quickly become a sucessful songwriter but lived with a frustration of being insecure on playing these songs himself. We are not sure about the reason, but as his life moves on he becomes even more solitary disregarding friends and family. Considering the business of music media, we cannot guarantee that his songs reflects his actual views in life or if are just a pattern that was decided to be followed due to a demand. According to the neighbors he was seen less and less lefting his house. We are not sure when and under what circumstances he actually disappeared and SCP-XXXX took place in his apartment, as he was found later on by policemen that break into his house after several months of late rents and bills not being paid.
Subject #2B
Name: [REDACTED]
Age: 30
Place of Origin: [REDACTED], Copenhagen, Denmark
Job: Writer
Description: Subject 2B is a proeminent member of one of the most wealth families of Denmark that has relevance in politic decisions on the state. He took a more academic path in life, set to study philosophy, history and arts and later on become a writer. He is the author of the of the books: "A Raven that Refused to Sing", "I", "The Cost of an Idea", "A Promise of Salvation" and "The Pointless Search of Truth". He goes by a pseudononim on the publication of those books. His books usually compreend poetry and essays on several schools of thought inclusing stoicism, existentialism and nihilism where he explores the understanding of mankind in its most deep aspects. It is know by privileged data delivered to The Foundation that his path in life wasn't expected and appreciated by his family and that said family became deeply involved in controversial corruption schemes after his father died under mysterious circunstances and the second branch of his family, leaded by his uncle took control of the majority of family bussiness and influence. Those events lead this man on become ever more distant of his family. His latest writing express an aspect of depression on the loss of his loving father and the course his family is currently going and how this goes against his perspective on humanity. Message exchange between his uncle and him reveals threats on his life should he decide to go against the plans and schemes currently going on. He was latest saw in a couple of months before the corruption schemes were exposed and a federal branch of Copenhagen police found the instance of SCP-XXXX in his house surrounded by criptic poetry for a book that was never finished, titled: "The Tragic Prince".
Subject #5A
Name: [REDACTED]
Age: 27
Place of Origin: [REDACTED], Fort Lauderdale, United States
Job: IT Techinician
Description: Subject 5A is an IT Technician that has an overall ordinary life, lives in an apartment and can cover the cost of life properly. Following the pattern of personal tragedy in this document in comparison with other subjects, Subject 5A was diagnosed with Social Anxiety Disorder and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, both these conditions were the cause of hardship throughout his life. Following the pattern of his activity in social media as well a few interviews conducted by Team B on people that used to know him, it was determined that he had a difficult time to meet expectations of the various social aspects in life, regarding relationships and communication. As year passes, his avoidance to deal with that condition would inevitably cause deteorition of his physical and mental health. Likewise, Subject #5A went missing and an instance of SCP-XXXX was found in his apartment.
Subject #13A
Name: [REDACTED]
Age: 21
Place of Origin: [REDACTED], São Paulo, Brazil
Job: Unemployed
Description: Subject 13A used to be a very active and know member of social media in Brazil focused on the discussion Politics and Social Causes. As year passes the difficult need to meet the agendas and deal with the cruel reality of the country's controversial political situation in a toxic environment of discussion, led Subject 13A to develop depression and paranoia. Her latest posts in social media demonstrate a cinic pattern of giving up to follow her ideals and regret of the investment of time and energy placed on a seemingly no solution scenario. Her latest post was an outburst about disappointment with her convictions and political support, with the direction in which the country and the world was following and the realization of its place in all this, followed by cryptic messages suggesting an attempt at suicide. Subject 13A dissapeared from media since then and an instance of SCP-XXXX was found a couple of weeks after above post.
Subject #92A
Name: [REDACTED]
Age: 43
Place of Origin: [REDACTED], Atlanta, United States
Job: Soldier
Description: Subject 92A fought two wars in his life. He was a decorated marine serving his country during the war in Afghanistan. What happened there would change his life forever, in one of several incursions into an enemy base, his squad was hit by enemy fire which caused the death of all his comrades and left him severely injured, followed by his capture, Subject 92A had been tortured over a period of 3 weeks for information before being rescued by a platoon in a rescue raid. His injuries were effectively treated, but after this experience he developed a chronic neuropathic pain condition and Post-traumatic stress disorder. Upon returning to his country, like many soldiers, Subject 92A had difficulties in receiving adequate post-war support and treatment of his chronic pain as well as the relationship of this with that pain and his Post-traumatic stress disorder. Several doctors were unable to determine whether part of her pain came of a psychosomatic or neurological nature. Living with this incessant pain and lack of resolution would inevitably lead Subject 92A to opioid drug abuse and more than one attempted suicide. An instance of SCP-XXXX was later found in Subject 92A house along with a note where he said he wished to live under the "constant and infinity effect of morphine".
Subject #5C
Name: [REDACTED]
Age: 40
Place of Origin: [REDACTED], Seoul, South Korea
Job: Researcher
Description: Subject 5C should be on our obervation before, being so close to The Foundation. She used to be a researcher with great potential, having a high level of diverse knowledge in physics, chemistry and also social studies, which resulted in an effective capacity for deduction that several times helped The Foundation to understand the various anomalies. However it is remarkable that her skills were only the peak of this competence, the base was her drive to discover and understand the unknown. This motivation began to change, after years working for The Foundation its common to deal with situations and scenarios that put your mind, your sanity, your view of the world in constant test. The latest psychological analyses conducted show that Subject 5C developed a more pessimistic perspective and a visible tiredness of dealing with what she described as: "The absurd nature of reality", as this anomalous world keeps challenging the simpler vision she possessed before working for The Foundation and turned her passion into fear. She described that she is afraid of progressing and knowing more, finding something that could destroy her sanity, making this search for understanding something dangerous and frightening, she finally concluded that she would rather know less about this world and if it is possible not to be a part of it anymore. The Foundation granted Subject 5C a paid retirement option in gratitude for the service provided or an allocation to work in a less intense environment, ironically in research on this same SCP-XXXX, but unfortunately, she become part of the anomaly.

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX instances are to be kept in storage lockers arranged by flavor. The Site in which the instances are kept is also to be located on a private island owned by the foundation for the purpose of testing.
The island is considered a no fly zone to all countries and any civilian aircrafts or boats nearing the island are to be followed and any civilians to be detained, questioned, and given amnestics.
Testing with the instances is encouraged and to be done with personnel with at least level one clearance and have permission from the site director or the current lead researcher assigned to SCP-XXXX. Due to the possible abuse of SCP-XXXX as a means of escape, class-D personnel are forbidden from becoming a test subject for SCP-XXXX instances.
Any personnel who agree to be test subjects must be subjected a psychological exam and be briefed on the rules associated with tests specific to the type of SCP-XXXX instance. Following this they are to be placed outside building within the biological preserve that has been set aside specifically for SCP-XXXX testing.
Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX testing, only up to ten individuals can be tested at once, and all test subjects currently in their 192 hour period are to be subject to a health and minor psychological exam every forty eight hours.
A log of deliveries made by the SCP-XXXX-A anomaly is to be kept up to date and monitored to prevent the stealing of SCP-XXXX instances.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is the designation given to a collection saltwater taffy with the brand name "Dino Taffy". Each individual instance has a print of a logo resembling the fossilized skull of a velociraptor. The wrappers of the instances are transparent with the labeled flavor of the instance. Each flavor name includes the name of an extinct species of animal. Most flavors circulate around dinosaurs of varied time periods, but also include marine reptiles, pterosaurs, mammalian species from the ice age, and a few species of fauna originating from Cambrian and Precambrian eras.
Each type of flavor so far recorded in the instances is to be assigned its own designation ranging from SCP-XXXX-1 to SCP-XXX-45
The anomalous property of the instance takes effect only when a human ingests the object. After ingestion the subject's body will change over the course of one hour to match the species described by the flavor name. Subjects report that the process is painless and no discomfort has been reported by subjects during the process despite the changes in bone structure, organs, body size, and muscle mass. The subject will also retain complete will power, consciousness and higher thought processes during and after the transformation process. The taffy also contains a powerful sedative of unknown identity that keeps subjects calm and passive throughout the process, and in some cases even has been known to heal psychological trauma including PTSD.
After the process is complete, the subject will remain in the current form for about 192 hours (8 days). During this the subject's diet will match that of the species they resemble. They will also be fully capable of certain skills and abilities matching their species. Habits will also match the species with the exception being mating habits, migratory behavior, and any habits that correlate with mood or aggression. Dexterity of any new limbs will also match and subjects will exhibit relative ease moving any new limbs including their tail. After the period of 192 hours the subject will again transform back to their appearance previous to ingestion of the instance over the same duration of time as it took the initial transformation.
After the experience subjects have reported positive feelings over their time in the transformed state. No negative side effects have ever been recorded spanning from the experience or the ingestion of the instance itself, but subjects will be capable of retaining a high muscle mass with little effort and a metabolism that makes them capable of eating much more food with little weight gain. Subjects also have a shown to have an increased life span by about three to ten years and a stronger immune system. Subjects also will report having more motivation and a good work ethic as well as a more positive morale.
Due to the positive effects the experience has on the staff and their mental states, the site director has opened testing largely to those under high stress conditions, but has reported that any personnel near the island with at least level one clearance with permission from their site directors may sign up for SCP-XXXX testing if their line of work allows them the time off. Subjects are also to be allowed to choose the flavor the want to do testing with.

Special Containment Procedures: All existing SCP-5646 instances are designated SCP-5646-1 through SCP-5646-10 (Excluding 5646-8) are to be kept unloaded in a locked firearm safe in Locker room 6 of Site 64 . SCP-5646-8 is to kept in a wooden safe in a completely organic room on same site. All tests and research on any SCP–5646 objects is to be conducted by personal with level 2 clearance and up.
Description: SCP-5646 is a collection of various anomalous firearms differing in type and effect. All firearms share a engraved signature on the back of the firearm near the magazine of said firearm of the place a magazine would be on said firearm. The curved is cannot be erased or hidden and is requires high amount of force to destroy. SCP-5646 was retrieved from an abandoned garage in Texas, after reports by a local citizen about SCP-5646.After further research, the reporting citizen has been identified to be the creator of SCP-5646.
SCP–5646–1 is a 45 ACP standard pistol with approximately the same size and weight as a standard model of its kind. When fired, SCP-5646-1 will make no sound. After shooting with SCP-5646-1, the holder will experience severe hearing loss for approximately 2-5 hours since since each shot was made shot with SCP-5646-1. The engraved signature on SCP-5646-1 is clearly visible.
SCP–5646–2 is a 44-magnum pistol. it has the same size of a standard model of it's kind. However, it weighs 0 kilograms, fires 50% faster, and causes 75% less noise then a normal 44-magnum model . After firing SCP-5646-2 and hitting a target, the holder of SCP-5646-2 will feel mild to severe nausea, dizziness, and in worse cases lose consciousness. The engraved signature on SCP-5646-2 is rougher and more noticeable then the one on SCP–5646–1.
SCP–5646–3 is a modified BR18. with approximately the same size and weight. it's bullets cause it's target to lose consciousness nearly an instant after being hit. in the nights following the firing of SCP-5646-3 the Holder will experience notably unpleasant nightmares, sleep paralysis, a high level of stress, high sleep deprivation and their mental sate will weaken. it is unknown weather all effects manifest anomalously from the use of SCP-5646-3 or are a result of natural behavior to SCP-5646-3's nightmare inducing affect. engraved signature on the firearm is bigger and less detailed than previous signatures.
SCP–5646-4 is a custom-made sniper rifle which fires bullets that infect the target with tumors. In case the tumors haven not been removed from the body of the target, alive or deceased, in the span of 3 minutes since shot. The tumors will detonate and explode and effect anything within a 2 meter radius of the body of the target. SCP-5646-4 has been shown to only manifest its effects when held by subjects with chronic diseases. The engraved signature appears to be stained by blood.
SCP–5646–5 is a custom-made heavy machine gun, which is made out of an anomalous metal similar to Titanium in its traits and functions exclusively with it's own custom-made bullets. SCP-5646-5 has shown an anomalous high efficiency in piercing skin, armor, metal, and concrete walls. When one of SCP-5646-5's bullets hits a moving target. the target will slow down by 50% from it's current velocity. When opened fire, SCP-5646-4 can randomly slow down it's own firing speed by 50%, and after continuous fire for 15 seconds, SCP-5646-5 will at high risk of exploding from overheating itself. The engraved signature on SCP-5646-5 is the biggest and it seems the engravement was made hastily and roughly. it is worth to note that even when SCP-5646-5 is overheated, the area of engraved signature will not rise in temperature from 25 degrees Celsius.
SCP–5646–6 is an anomalous firearm with it's looks reminiscent of a fictional "plasma rifle". It fires a deadly stream of plasma black-colored lighting, inflicting heavy physical trauma on anything within a 5–10-meter length and 2–5-meter width radius from point of fire. The plasma stream is manifested using the negative feelings of SCP-5646-6's holder. the plasma stream manifests for 6.32 seconds maximum. and the time decreases with each time the weapon used by the same holder by 1 second. The curved signature on SCP-5646-6 is decorated with yellow neon lights forming the usual engraved signature. These lights have stayed on since the start of containment.
SCP–5646–7 is a modified "ShellStrike DS-6" "NERF" toy gun with, when fired with any appropriate toy darts, copies of the fired toy dart will appear all around the the toy gun in a 360 angle to it. Manifesting from the inside of the toy gun and from the air. these darts will then shoot themselves in the exact time speed and strength of the original dart as if they were fired from fired the toy gun's intended blaster. When any target is hit by one of the darts. it will experience a strong amount of pain as if it was shot by a real, fully functioning firearm. SCP-5646-7 has a cheap plastic replica of the engraved signature of each SCP-5646 object.
SCP–5646–8 is an anomalous wooden musket that works with custom made wooden mystical bullets. When fired on an organic target, they will be unharmed. However, when fired on target that is considered/or is made of - high tech, the target will quickly corrode and break apart, and after awhile will transform into plant matter. This anomalous effect effects all other man-made structures, tools, goods and etc, at a slower pace. In the place that would usually feature the author's engraved signature there is instead a plant with the exact shape of the signature. No growth of it has been noted since containment.
SCP–5646–9 is a custom-made revolver with it's anomalous effects being completely random every shot, and SCP-5646-9's Barrel has been constantly spinning since containment. Every time SCP-5646-9 is used, it gets more broken, and it is estimated that even one full round of shots could destroy the revolver. The engraved signature on the fire arm is full of small scratches small bite marks, and is the roughest and most hardest engraved signature to identify out of all SCP-5646s
SCP-5646-10 is a custom-made pistol that when held, will cause the holder to boost their own moral and if in a combat situation, to perceive their situation is doable and winnable. it is unknown if it is an direct effect by SCP-5646-10 or a result of it's previous effect, holders of SCP-5646-10 will increase their efficiency and accuracy by 46% then their normal performance with a normal firearm similar to SCP-5646-10. It is worth to note that the engraved signature on every firearm is more detailed and clearer than all other firearms and the engravement is made out of gold.
Addendum 5646-1 as previously described, a collection of 11 audio logs were found with SCP-5646. it is confirmed that these audio recording had been made by SCP-5646's creator.
audio recording #1 -
Is this thing working? one. one. one?, yeah it works. Uhhhh hey! my name is um, Eddie. Eddie Newman. And this, is, audio recording number 1 of my journal on my experience in paranormal gunsmithing! uh yeah, that's what I do now.
I finally got my application accepted into a small para-gunsmiths company, they're called uhh, "Guns From God's Blind Spots". And with the stuff we para-gunsmiths mess with, this name is.. pretty accurate. I met up with the owner and the manager of the place today, His name is Bill. Bill showed around the workshop, made sure to tell me about all the nifty tools and types of guns they have in stock (a lot quite, frankly) and he gave me my first job, based on the "company motto":
a gun that is "good enough to sell, cheap enough to make, worth enough to buy." boy, that's a motto.
I hope I can do it though, this my first time doing this professionally. So, I'm making this audio journal so I can document my progress! heard that tip on the web…So, Yeah! good luck for me
audio recording #2
I've a modified one of my pistols, an ACP-45 was it? yeah, yeah that what it was. It now fires bullets completely silently But, when I tested the weapon, even with protective equipment for my ears, I immediately went deaf for like two hours. Argh, that was a pain. this gun isn't very useful because of the deafening (maybe if you're already dead it's good, heh) but I think I'm doing well! next time I'll make something slightly more complex.
audio recording #3
Fuck, I feel terrible. I'm gonna make this short, I modified my 44 - magnum and my stupid ass thought it was a good idea to just make it work quieter again but this time also faster (wow!) for the price of feeling real fucking worse. if I do something like this again, the drawback needs to be worth it. I'm going to bed.
audio recording #4 >
I did it! I made something that doesn't immediately make me weak or deaf! I'm so damn happy! but also completely exhausted… using this gun gives you some terrible TERRIBLE nights. and the people who buy anomalous guns usually already these sorts of nights anyway… So, I find it hard to believe it will sell. I think testing this gun took a toll on me. if i wasn't stressed and tired before, I'm sure as hell now.
audio recording #5
What the fuck was I thinking? I, should never have made this. fuck, alright I'll explain. I made my very own custom sniper rifle! sounds nice right? WRONG. because for SOME REASON I thought it was a good idea to make the gun's bullets spread tumors, it can only be used by Fucking cancer patients! why in the hell my dumbass think this was a good idea!? if the others would have found out I would be kicked for violating some basic fucking human principles. maybe I'm overreacting but this thing is going to the closet with the rest of the skeletons.
audio recording #6
I can't stop messing up huh? I made a freaking machine gun, custom made, extremely powerful, completely anomalous material that ain't cheap. aaaaaaand it's unstable. godamnit, back to the drawing board for me! (I'm also beginning to feel unstable… HA)
audio recording #7 I am so DAMN close. I made cool ass plasma rifle! a plasma rifle! I put my soul AND my budget into the thing, and it worked! it worked fine! no problems no nothing! but it could only work for 6 seconds. 6. S-E-C-O-N-D-S. so now I'm broke and without a cool proper gun. well back to the drawing board, again!
audio recording #8
well, I should have seen that coming, I'm more surprised that it's functional. maybe it's still has uses as some sabotage gun or a deadly prank gun. you must be a real bright fella in order to give this to your friends though.
audio recording #9
I literally had to craft a wooden musket out of the tree in my back yard, so I took the opportunity to do a classic nature vs technology gimmick (yay?) and made the thing real strong against anything considered tech. Welp, I guess I did something right, or TOO right it since it started corroding my freaking jeans, and then turning them to leaves. fun times shopping for new ones later
audio recording #10
I took every bit funds that I could from the team and my own pockets for one final attempt and.. it's a random mess, literally. it just does something random and it's completely broken. and I'm broken. yep, me, Eddie, broken. the guy who sold of his house and and risked everything just to meet up with bunch of dudes in the middle of nowhere, Texas just so he could FINALLY build his own cool stuff. broken. what can I say to myself, or to anyone else who could possibly be listening to this? My guns fucking sucked. they just did! no matter what i did, no matter how much I tried, or spent whatever I made was terrible, horrible, or just ineffective. But alas, here we are, and what do I do now? I think I have enough parts left to make one last gun, maybe a pistol. good luck to I guess. At this point, I just hope I have what it takes to keep going.
audio recording #11
I decided that I'll do it and I made one more Gun. It's a simple custom made pistol from my spare parts in this garage and it has pretty basic property- anyone who holds it will feel like they can do anything, they'll be hopeful and motivated. Essentially, I just made something that would cheer me up.
But, when I showed it to the others.. they liked it! they really liked it! they said that they want to sell the thing! I'm just… relived. I did it, even after all I've been through. I managed to create something quite neat. is it some grand masterpiece of art? no. But it's mine. And, it's going to be my first anomalous gun product! There is a problem though, and it's about the other nine that I made. I don't think I can keep them in my garage safely, someone could steal them or mess with them. So, I was thinking about handing them to someone a little bit more, professional in containing these sort of stuff. And hey, I'll send them one model of the tenth! Y'know, for a good measure. Hell they might contact me and and the team!
Addendum 5646-2 The purchase of more anomalous weaponry from SCP-5646's creator and their associates to supply MTF units is currently pending approval from administrative staff.

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: Since SCP-XXXX poses no threat to life or the foundation, SCP-XXXX is to be held in a locked 30cm x 30cm x 30cm box made entirely out of hardened plastic and must be monitored by at least one personnel at all times, with exceptions to testing and interrogation.
Description: SCP-XXXX takes the form of vinyl eraser missing the cardboard wrapping, roughly 6.5 cm x 1.25 cm x 2 cm in size, containing the faded markings of the average vinyl eraser manufactured in STAEDLER, SCP-XXXX is made out of soft vinyl, identical to non anomalous vinyl erasers. SCP-XXXX possess regenerative abilities once size is reduced in any method, regardless of how severe the damage is, SCP-XXXX will grow back the removed areas from the largest fraction of the body in exactly 5 seconds. SCP-XXXX is capable of cognitive speech of only english, despite not possessing any form of mouth. The entity usually speaks in a husky and burly male voice, and shows constant verbal aggression towards foundation staff, refusing to describe any details regarding origins or shared knowledge, however, SCP-XXXX has stated that he is male. Threats regarding termination or abuse towards SCP-XXXX to encourage him to give details have ended in nothing but failure as SCP-XXXX states that he doesn’t feel any pain. SCP-XXXX also has been caught monologuing regarding world control. Another ability SCP-XXXX is capable of movement, however they are just periodic lifts from one side of the entity’s body to gain momentum to roll to another side. Each time SCP-XXXX moves, it is usually followed by grunting, implying that SCP-XXXX is using some kind of unidentified muscle.

SCP-XXXX through cognitohazard filtering
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: As of Incident-7-21, containment procedures have changed accordingly. SCP-XXXX is to be kept contained in a standard medium steel storage unit equipped with a reality anchor that must be activated at all times, with the steel containing large quantities of cold iron. Personnel are advised to disregard wailing sounds emanating from SCP-XXXX's chamber, as this is considered normal behavior. Should the wailings cease, personnel are advised to check the condition of the reality anchor.
Security cameras equipped with appropriate cognitohazard filters are to monitor the cell in case the reality anchor fails and instances of SCP-XXXX-2 emerge from the gemstone. In an event of a containment breach, security personnel must wear cognitohazard filtering visors and reactivate the reality anchor as quickly as possible to prevent more SCP-XXXX-2 entities emerging. Security personnel is also advised to use a portable reality anchor to recontain instances of SCP-XXXX-2, and bullets fashioned from cold iron is somewhat effective against the entities.
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard medium concrete storage unit. Security cameras with standard cognitohazard filters are to monitor the gemstone for any shift in behavior. Security personnel entering the containment area must equip visors with cognitohazard filters. Personnel are prohibited from removing SCP-XXXX from its storage unit.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a gemstone that will make subjects suffer severe hallucinations and Glossolalia to whomever views it without proper cognitohazard protection. It appears to shift colors constantly, the color depending on the perception on the person who is viewing it. Through a cognitohazard filter the gemstone is turquoise. The center of the object emits a dim blue light, and whispering emits from the light whenever the anomaly is left alone with no personnel in its vicinity. Individuals reports it feeling cold to the touch, regardless of environment. Personnel exposed to the object for a long period of time have been observed to develop flu-like symptoms, deprived of emotion, and report hearing voices over their shoulder.
The cognitohazard effects begin when a human subject views it for more than thirty seconds. They start to feel light-headed and slightly nauseated. When the subject proceeds viewing the gem, the subject's brain starts malfunctioning, disrupting an essential part in the brain used for speech and causing the subject to develop Glossolalia. If the subject continues examining the object after this stage, subject will start experiencing hallucinations that when described, their description matches that of SCP-XXXX-2 instances. Subjects are observed to typically respond with extreme paranoia and have heightened levels of Cortisol. Fully affected subjects will mutter "Free the condemned ones" constantly all the time, and will go to extreme measures to try and breach SCP-XXXX out of containment. In one extremely unusual case, the subject [REDACTED]. SCP-XXXX is currently being contained at Site-██.
SCP-XXXX-2 entities are humanoid-shaped clouds of particulates, and also display the same cognitohazard as the gemstone. They are luminescent and constantly shifting colors. The entities are reported to be able to pass through solid matter, with an exception for steel mixed with cold iron. After fifteen hours outside the presence of a reality anchor, instances of SCP-XXXX-2 will begin materializing from the dim blue light at the center of the gem and immediately proceed towards a living organism's line of sight. When they enter the presence of a reality anchor, they immediately start dissipating and their cognitohazard lethality drops drastically. Infrared cameras have revealed unusually low temperature spots where the entities were present, and also have shown the remaining particles during the disintegration of the instances speed to the gem and re-enter the light.
SCP-XXXX-2 instances have been observed to gather around a deceased organism and remain there until the reality anchor is activated again. The entities appear to wail and screech when they manifest. Several comprehensible phrases have been heard in their screams, such as "help me", "Don't look" and the most common heard among these, "Save yourself from us". Although the entities can make comprehensible words, SCP-XXXX-2 instances scream incoherently for the majority of the time they are manifested. Certain researchers and D-Class personnel have reported feeling a "sense of familiarity" and also describe the entities as deceased loved ones. A small number of personnel have attempted to embrace the instances in forms such as hugging or kissing, and feel great sadness upon leaving the presence of SCP-XXXX-2 instances.
Addendum: Due to the aftermath of Incident-7-21, biological testing on SCP-XXXX is to be monitored and logged. Cold Iron must always be present in containment unit's steel walls to slow down instances of SCP-XXXX-2. Personnel near or around SCP-XXXX's containment unit report feeling uneasy, disturbed, or otherwise emotional towards the gemstone. SCP-XXXX's containment unit has been reported to decrease to temperatures of ten degrees Celsius.
Personnel exposed to the cognitohazardous effects of SCP-XXXX are to be monitored for any signs of nausea, Glossolalia, and extreme paranoia. Any staff found to be under the effects of the cognitohazard are to be held in solitary confinement with basic amenities for a humanoid, or otherwise terminated if deemed necessary. Dr. Daniel Brown is currently the Lead Researcher on SCP-XXXX.
Note: During hours of the day when SCP-XXXX is left alone in its containment unit, interesting audio in the video logs of SCP-XXXX reveal that there is a faint whispering emitting from the gem itself. It sounded very unsettling, and I think Junior Researcher Ross couldn't sleep that night.- Dr. Daniel
Foreword: The following is the Recovery Log for SCP-XXXX. MTF Eta-10 recovered the anomaly in an underground tunnel underneath a museum in [DATA EXPUNGED].
<Begin Log>
Commander Saffron: Hey, I just got a tip from HQ saying that the curator has the object underground.
Lieutenant Cook: Okay. Over.
Commander Saffron: Roger, drop us down behind the building.
Roger: Copy that. Dropping you guys behind the building.
[Crew drops down of the helicopter]
Lieutenant Cook: Wonder why that curator has the anomaly in the first place.
[Commander Saffron signals to go inside]
Officer Roy: The tunnel entrance should be next to the art exhibit.
[The team continues moving, but when they reach the entrance of the art wing, the curator jumps out]
Commander Saffron: Don't do nothin' shifty! We have you at gunpoint, so nothin' shifty!
Lieutenant Cook: Where is it?
Curator: What?
Officer Roy: THE ANOMALY, YOU IDIOT!
[Curator whimpers]
Curator: Don't go there.
Officer Roy: Get out of the way.
Curator: You'll be tampering with it. Nothing gets away with hurting it. Your organization will not get it.
Lieutenant Cook: Remind me to get this man some amnestics after the mission.
Commander Saffron: Now, listen here. Get out of the way and no one gets hurt.
[Curator pulls out a Glock quickly and shoots Lieutenant Cook]
Commander Saffron: OY!
[Commander Saffron starts firing at the curator and blood splatters everywhere as the curator is shot multiple times in the chest, but despite this, the curator's chest is still rising and falling normally]
Officer Roy: Commander, get the object while I help Cook.
[Curator is knocked out on the ground, without any visible gunshots or wounds.]
Commander Saffron: I recognize this behavior. He's seen something horrible, something very bad.
Lieutenant Cook: Ugh…
[Commander Saffron enters the art wing and examines it. The wing is torn apart, but no tunnel entrance is in sight]
Commander Saffron: Buggin' mad, [shaking his head]
???: Leave.
Commander Saffron: [He looks around] Who's that? I'm warning you, I'm armed!
???: Your guns don't hurt me.
[Commander Saffron finds the source of the voice, a gemstone in the corner]
Commander Saffron: [switches on cognitohazard filtering] Something buggin' memetic here.
[The voice is gone]
Curator: I told you. I-It gets into your head… It spoke to me when I found it. The spirits aren't pleased, they said, they w-would kill me if I didn't help it. And [Incomprehensible].
Commander Saffron: Get out.
Curator: [Tears are streaming down his cheeks] Please don't. I beg you. T-The things in it… I felt them… I knew them… But I also had to die for them.
[Curator brings out same gun, and puts it to the side of his head]
Commander Saffron: Now, don't be stu-
[Gunshot]
[The curator is lying dead on the floor, having shot himself in the head]
Officer Roy: [Runs into the art wing with blood splattered on his arm] Hey, Comman-
Commander Saffron: Switch your memetic filter on, there's something here.
Officer Roy: Okay. [Switches cognitohazard filter on] You look like your dog just died. What happened? I heard a gunshot.
[Commander Saffron points at the body on the ground]
Officer Roy: H-He did himself in?
Commander Saffron: Yes. Also some strange buggin' voice started talkin' in my head. Object's right there. [He points at the anomaly]
Officer Roy: Yup. [Roy retrieves the object and puts it in his bag]
Officer Roy: Man, this gem's heavy. Wonder how much it would be worth…
Commander Saffron: Exactly. Those Chaos Insurgents might think it'll do them some good to take it. Don' know it's buggin' memetic.
[Commander Saffron puts the body in a bag and head out to the back of the building with the gem and Lieutenant Cook as well]
Commander Saffron: Roger, pick us up.
Roger: Copy, Commander.
<End Log>
Closing Statement: After arriving at Site-██, Commander Saffron requested to be given a two hour break. He was granted the break, but later found dead, having strangled himself. He left a note, saying: "That gem made me hear voices. They haunted me, after the mission, and now as I'm writing this. I'm here to say that I love everyone in my family, and also thank you to everyone else on the team that helped me through my dark times. But this one, it scarred me. This one was horrifying, after I saw what it did to the curator. He killed himself, just as what I'm going to do right now. I love you all, and keep keeping the world safe. - Robert" Researchers studied the brain of the dead curator, and it appears that he suffered severe mental damage and Glossolalia. Lieutenant Cook and Officer Roy will continue working in MTF Eta-10. Note: Due to an unethical decision while on a mission, Officer Roy will be demoted to Security personnel in Site-██.
Foreword: At the time of testing, Officer Ferret was one of the security officers assisting in the testing on SCP-XXXX, however, this test resulted in a containment breach and multiple casualties of Foundation personnel, henceforth referred to as Incident-7-21.
<Begin Log>
Officer Ferret and two other Security Officers are standing outside of SCP-XXXX's containment unit. Audible screaming and screeching are emanating from the containment door. The three officers turn around with their guns, just as multiple luminous entities emerge from the wall, screaming. The entities have a vague human shape, and Officer Ferret opens fire. the bullets strike the wall behind one of the instances, and the other two officers start firing as well. Ferret pulls the red containment breach handle, and the intercom announces a containment breach. The entities light up the entire hall. The entities are luminous, roughly three meters tall, and appear to be made of particles. A researcher comes running out of the observation room, and goes right through an instance. The researcher shivers, and collapses on the floor, not moving.
One of the instances grabs Ferret with a seemingly intangible appendage, and throws Officer Ferret to the wall with brute force. The instances are very strong, and howl and screech. One of the Officers, Markus, hides behind a chair and requests use of a reality anchor just as one of the instances punches a hole right through the chair, leaving crumbled pieces of it behind. A researcher arrives carrying a portable reality anchor, sets it on the ground, and activates it as it hums with energy. The instances scream, saying one comprehensible phrase over and over, "Save yourself! Save yourself!".
The entities slowly dissipate as Ferret stirs and Markus gets up from behind the crushed chair. They radio in a team of researchers, and declare the anomalies recontained.
<End Log>
Closing Statement: After the incident, O5 Council reviewed the log and changed the containment procedures. A reality anchor is now in the cell to prevent further incidents similar to this one, and approval from Lead Researcher Dr. Daniel is needed to test biological subjects on SCP-XXXX. The file for this anomaly has been updated to include the extra information and changes.
Foreword: This is a list of experiments concerning SCP-XXXX. All experiments are monitored by Dr. Daniel and require his permission to test with SCP-XXXX.
Experiment-04
Researcher: Dr. Daniel Brown
Subject: D-7592
<Begin Log>
Dr. Daniel: Alright, D-7592. We're going to test you on an anomaly. What do you think about it?
D-7592: I think it's a load of crap.
[At this point, audible whispering is being heard from the door of SCP-XXXX's containment unit]
Dr. Daniel: It'll be over very quick, and it's going to be short.
D-7592: I just want to see my family again. It'll be short, yeah, with you stupid scientists standing over my dead body!
[Dr. Daniel opens SCP-XXXX's door to the unit]
Officer Ray: Hey, D-boy. Get in there. [Officer Ray grabs D-7592 and shoves him]
D-7592: You guys are all stupid, dumb, heartless, JER-
[Containment unit door closes]
Officer Ray: That'll be the day, when all those D-Class people stop whining about their homes.
[Officer Ray cracks his knuckles, looking mildly annoyed]
Dr. Daniel: Personally, I don't like seeing people being tested on anomalies we know will kill them horrifically. We should at least give them a coffee once in a while.
[Dr. Daniel and Officer Ray walk into the testing observatory.]
Dr. Daniel: Alrighty, let me turn on the speaker, and… [Dr. Daniel activates the microphone]
Officer Ray: I'll just be outside, if you need someone to shoot something.
[Dr. Daniel nods reluctantly]
Dr. Daniel: Okay, D-7592? Please describe what you are feeling right now.
D-7592: What the heck did you put me in here with?! I-I'm feeling dizzy…
[Dr. Daniel jots down on his clipboard]
Dr. Daniel: Can you approach the object, please?
D-7592: Uh… Uh… I don't like this… Get me out.
[Dr. Daniel winces as he writes down more]
D-7592: Get me out! Get me-[Incomprehensible]
Dr. Daniel: Wait, what? The Reality Anchor is turned off…
[Dr. Daniel sees the reality anchor switched off, and the gem starts shaking]
[The gemstone starts wailing, the light in the center turning extremely bright]
D-7592: Gabba! Cuu cu cuu! Mum! MUM!
[Subject starts flailing around on the unit floor while the gem grows increasingly bright, blinding Dr. Daniel and allowing him to only see shadows of what is happening]
Dr. Daniel: No!
[Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 emerge from the gem and swoop down onto D-7592, who moans and continues screaming, while convulsing violently and vomiting]
Dr. Daniel: Ray! I need you in the containment unit now! [Dr. Daniel reactivates the Reality Anchor]
[D-7592 starts [REDACTED] and other entities of SCP-XXXX-2 disintegrate]
Dr. Daniel: What the heck! ROY! Come in here, now!
[Object emits a bright flash of light and entities of SCP-XXXX-2 disappear completely, leaving only an odd cold in their midst and being withdrawn back into the anomaly]
Dr. Daniel: Ray! Why didn't you-[Dr. Daniel rushes to the door and opens it, only to find Officer Ray lying dead with his gun in his hand]
[Dr. Daniel looks at the
Dr. Daniel: Is this still running? [Dr. Daniel grabs logging camera and shakes it] And t-that concludes Experiment-oh four. Damn.
<End Log>
Closing Statement: Dr. Daniel decided to connect SCP-XXXX's anomalous abilities to death, and proceeded to enact studies of SCP-XXXX-2's behavior with Cold Iron, a type of iron that supposedly fends off evil spirits. SCP-XXXX-2 reacted negatively towards the Iron and Dr. Daniel was able to fend off three instances of SCP-XXXX-2 with the Cold Iron, before reactivating the Reality Anchor and declaring the Cold Iron Experiment a success.
Experiment-05
Researcher: Dr. Daniel and Junior Researcher Ross
Subject: One human cadaver
<Begin Log>
Junior Researcher Ross: Daniel, how are you sure that they won't just breach containment again?
Dr. Daniel: I'm confident of this. Besides, if anything goes wrong, I have Cold Iron ingots in my bag [Dr. Daniel gestures to his handbag] and we can reactivate the reality anchor if we can see something happening.
Junior Researcher Ross: You do know that even if you're the Lead Researcher, you can't just go testing willy-nilly on this thing! Y-You saw what that thing did last time.
Dr. Daniel: We're coming to a conclusion. We'll be able to find out what it's purpose is. Anyways, I'll make it quick, because I have my dog to feed after work, and I also have a conference.
[Dr. Daniel signals to the Security personnel to throw the body into the containment unit]
Dr. Daniel: Get ready.
[Dr. Daniel flips the Reality Anchor switch to OFF]
Dr. Daniel: Let's pray this works…
[SCP-XXXX-2 instances start slipping out of the center of the gemstone, screaming and wailing, and they approach the dead body, lighting the features of the body up]
Junior Researcher Ross: Can they go through the glass? I don't want to die young.
[Dr. Daniel shakes his head just as the instances start swirling around the corpse]
Dr. Daniel: Quickly! [Dr. Daniel takes multiple photos of the phenomenon]
Junior Researcher Ross: They're not going near the walls. I think the Cold Iron is actually… Working!
[The entities flinch when they get too close to the wall, and it appears repulsive to them]
[Entities reach out with appendages that appear to be intangible, but are able to lift the corpse effectively]
Dr. Daniel: Amazing! They can grab things! [Dr. Daniel activates the Reality Anchor]
[Instances start making audible hissing and disintegrate, a few particles flowing back into the object before disappearing with a cut off scream]
Junior Researcher Ross: That was… interesting. Suppose they can punch through stuff as well. Anyways, want to go for lunch now? We can just update the Experiment Logs later. [Junior Researcher Ross grabs her clipboard and nudges Dr. Daniel]
Dr. Daniel: Sure. Let's not wait too long, though. Twig is waiting for me.
Junior Researcher Ross: Okay!
<End Log>
Closing Statement: Dr. Daniel states that the outcome of this experiment further proved his theory that the gemstone was associated with death. Junior Researcher Ross also supports this theory as well. More research is to be conducted for more evidence.
Experiment-06-A
Researcher: Dr. Daniel
Subject: An apple
<Begin Log>
Dr. Daniel: Alrighty… This is Test-oh-six-A. [Dr. Daniel tosses the apple in the air and catches it again] I'm going to see if this thing is a portal to something. If I'm right, I might be promoted!
[Dr. Daniel steps into the containment unit wearing cognitohazard protection]
Dr. Daniel: [He chucks the apple at the object, and the gem starts whispering in an unknown language]
Dr. Daniel: What the-
[Within one meter of the gem, the apple starts shriveling, turning brown and withering into a deformed mess before splattering the containment unit's floor]
Dr. Daniel: It rots!? Let me see!
[Dr. Daniel runs over, and feels it. It is indefinitely rotten, showing signs of time acceleration]
Dr. Daniel: And that concludes this experiment for today!
<End Log>
Closing Statement: The results of this test reveal that any organic sustenance (Such as fruit or vegetables) rot instantly within one meter of the anomaly. Dr. Daniel states he will continue these experiments with man-made objects, such as phones or a shovel.
Experiment-06-B
Researcher: Dr. Daniel
Subject: An █████ Watch
<Begin Log>
Dr. Daniel: With my last experiment, I concluded that food rots instantly when it is within on meter of the gemstone. I'll test this with matter that is not organic, like this watch here.
[Dr. Daniel enters the containment unit with a cognitohazard filtered visor]
Dr. Daniel: Okay, time to do this.
[He throws the watch at the gem, and the object immediately hisses, wailing loudly. Dr. Daniel clamps his hands on his ears, and ripples are visible in the air]
Dr. Daniel: Wha-?
[The watch disappears as soon as it hits the light at the center of the object, disappearing by an unknown rift]
Dr. Daniel: Wow! [He runs to the object, and examines the floor, looking around the pedestal]
Dr. Daniel: I know what it might be now!
<End Log>
Closing Statement: Dr. Daniel concluded that the dim blue light at the center of the gemstone is a portal, or a gateway to somewhere else. He states, "There's some type of pocket dimension there… But how? That pocket dimension should be infested with SCP-XXXX-2 entities… Unless, Of course! It's a pocket dimension that the instances live in! Fantastic! Yes!". He insists these experiments are successful, and are reaping more discoveries each time.

Lieutenant Reed's depiction of SCP-XXXX
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in Area-██ in between Florida, the island of Bermuda, and the Bahamas; this zone is nicknamed the Bermuda Triangle. A 2,000 meter tall steel wall is to be bordering the entirety of the triangle. The interior of the containment zone must be at temperatures of 18 degrees Celsius, and have Flora and Fauna native to the Pacific Ocean. The island of Bermuda is the main research center for this anomaly. Personnel are prohibited from attempting to or conversing with SCP-XXXX. Lead Researchers Marie Dukes and Kevin Johnson are allowed to converse and interact with SCP-XXXX, as well as providing sustenance to the anomaly.
Under no circumstances should SCP-XXXX be exposed to pollution or waste of any kind. If the previous occurs, the anomaly will attempt to breach containment. If anomaly attempts to breach containment, Mobile Task Force Gamma-6 will be deployed to secure the anomaly. Personnel are advised that if the anomaly is permitted to breach containment, the result will be irreversible, and SCP-████ is to be activated once the anomaly is recontained or SCP-XXXX succeeds in its goal to eliminate humanity. This course of action is best avoided, and all precautions are to be taken with SCP-XXXX as to prevent a containment breach.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a large creature resembling the Hydra from Greek Mythology. It is approximately 900 meters tall, and prefers to make its habitat in the Pacific Ocean. It has multiple heads, and occasionally rises up from the water to observe activity on the coastline. Mobile Task Force Gamma-6 was deployed to contain the anomaly, but only Lieutenant Reed was able to report back to the Foundation before expiring due to injuries. More information can be found in the Exploration Logs.
SCP-XXXX has shown the ability to create life itself, and can travel quickly over a short period of time. It has revealed to be sentient, and capable of speech. Due to Lead Researchers Kevin and Marie being the only humans SCP-XXXX considers "worthy of trust", they are the only personnel permitted to converse with the anomaly. Should SCP-XXXX carry out a threat, the two researchers are to admit their mistake to the creature, even if they had committed nothing wrong.
Appropriate funding is to be provided to the Lead Researchers for their organization "Healing Nature". SCP-XXXX has requested a number of objects for its convenience. SCP-XXXX seems to know SCP-[REDACTED]. It refers to it as "A coworker in his plan, a helper for the planet, like me." and disagrees with the Foundation on a number of things.
Request - A Coral Reef: ACCEPTED
Request - A Water Filter: PARTLY ACCEPTED
Request - A Sea Sponge "Bed": DENIED
Request - A School Of Fish: ACCEPTED
Request - Means Of Contacting [REDACTED]: DENIED
Request - A Fountain Of Heated Water: ACCEPTED
Addendum: The information of the origin of the anomaly and its purpose is strictly available only to Lead Researchers Kevin and Marie and The O5 Council. Anyone else found with knowledge of this information will be terminated on command. Lead Researcher Kevin is to be lightly monitored for any signs of violence towards fellow personnel or Lead Researcher Marie to prevent another incident between the two researchers. Researcher Kevin attempted to murder Researcher Marie in a fit of rage, and after careful decisions, was demoted. SCP-XXXX appears to be compliant with humans that actively protect nature, regardless of their other opinions and actions.
Note:Researcher Kevin is to be made Lead Researcher of this anomaly, as well as Researcher Marie. Recent events have been taken into notice. Researcher Kevin had presented his work on the anomaly to Supervisor Fred, but the supervisor preferred Researcher Marie and ignored this.
Researcher Kevin had severe depression at that time, and had attempted to kill Researcher Marie. This was due to neglect from the supervisor, and cleared. As noted, The world was on the brink of an XK-Class Scenario due to SCP-XXXX's nature of destroying humankind for their destruction of nature. The two researchers turned their work in together and saved the world from the anomaly. Both researchers are now Lead Researchers thanks to their success in saving the world. - O5-█.

EXPLORATION
Preface: This is a video log of the exploration and tracking of SCP-XXXX by MTF Gamma-6. They have been deployed in the Pacific Ocean to track down and possibly contain the anomaly.
<Begin Log>
Commander Duke: Lower us down, operator.
Mobile Task Force Gamma-6 is being lowered in a submersible into the Pacific Ocean, where SCP-XXXX was last reported to be. Operator drops submersible into the ocean, and Commander Duke is the leader for this mission.
Lieutenant Reed: Okay, folks. Commander, the anomaly is somewhere here, correct?
Commander Duke: Yes.
Submersible approaches the coral reef, and signs of something large moving through the reef are noticeable. Duke, Reed, and Sanders go into the water. They load their guns, and look around.
Officer Sanders: Something's here. I know it.
Commander Duke: Operator, get us a sonar reading of… about sixty meters around us.
Operator: Copy.
The sonar graph is displayed on their visors, and it shows a large creature sixty meters away from the team. Sanders swims towards the large creature. The sun is rising, and the ocean is being illuminated. The entity's shadow is seen from afar. It has multiple heads.
Lieutenant Reed: [He turns on his radio] Sanders, get away from there.
Officer Sanders: Why? Nothing here but tons of broken coral reefs and- OH CRAP!
Gunshots emanate from both the radio and in the ocean. The entity is seen snapping at Sanders and waves of water hit Duke and Reed. Flashes of light explode from the faraway ocean, and the bubbles from the conflict rise slowly up to the surface.
Officer Sanders: That thing can talk! GET ME OUTTA HERE! [More gunshots emit from the radio]
Over the radio, the anomaly's voice comes over.
SCP-XXXX: Leave! Filthy rat, or I'll tear you to pieces for your crimes!
One of the heads snaps back, and roars, the sound traveling across the ocean and recorded at 115 Decibels. The lens of the camera crack slightly, obstructing most of the video.
Officer Sanders: Get… away!
SCP-XXXX: I won't get away. You have disrupted the harmony, killed the beautiful things. You are all MURDERERS!
One of its heads rushes down, and catches Sanders in its jaws.
Commander Duke:Get back here!
Officer Sanders: [Warbling, his visor has broken] Hel-… Its… MY AR-
A trail of blood floats upwards from the battle area, staining the salt water crimson. The light from the sun shines through it, turning the ocean scarlet. The entity is enormous, and pulling Sanders apart with its heads.
Duke and Reed board the submersible and start firing at the entity, and its many heads snap towards them. The anomaly screeches, crushing the submersible. The camera tumbles out.
Commander Duke: Operator, we need backup!
The anomaly shoots a jet of boiling water, and scorches the submersible. Radio feed cuts out after screen flashes red hot and turns black, and the only things seen are smoldering bits of red-hot iron from the submersible. The coral is burned, and the entity howls, swimming deeper and away at incredible speeds. Duke retrieves the camera and the two agents swim upwards. The video feed cuts out.
<End Log>

EXPLORATION II
Preface: MTF Gamma-6 is deployed again near Antarctica's peninsula. Officer Sanders's remains are to be discovered. U.S scientists encountered the anomaly, and after questioning, were administered Class-A Amnestics and released from custody.
The anomaly is resting beneath an iceberg, and Gamma-6 is deployed a kilometer away from said iceberg.
Commander Duke: Deployed. Activating stealth mode.
The submersible is in stealth mode, and silently glides along the barren Antarctic waters. The temperature is very low, yet the anomaly is not showing any signs of hypothermia or cold conditions.
Lieutenant Reed: Disembarking.
The two agents stop the submersible, and disembark. The anomaly appears to be [REDACTED]. The two teammates swim in the freezing water. The seabed is not in sight, and the light is very dim. SCP-XXXX awakens, and surveys the area.
SCP-XXXX: Youuu… you wretched humans are back. Your Foundation attempted to "contain" me long ago. I suppose that was forgotten. But you cannot contain a deity. You cannot contain POWER!
The team does not respond, and instead hides in the dark areas. Camera quality turns grainy due to temperature drop.
SCP-XXXX: Your kind poisoned the land meant for healing. I am not here to kill nature. I am here to destroy the pestilence poisoning it. Your kind has grown advanced. Very. But… I AM A GOD!
A wave of energy pulsates from its body, pummeling the two and chipping off large shards of ice from the iceberg. They emerge, and start shooting rapidly. The wave distorts the video, slightly morphing
SCP-XXXX: You cannot destroy me!
Commander Duke: We're not here to destroy you! We're here to CONTAIN you!
The words trigger the anomaly, and it launches itself at the two.
Lieutenant Reed: Commander! Swerve!
Reed and Duke veer off camera and SCP-XXXX crashes into the space where they were. Clouds of dust rise.
Commander Duke: Its probably dead. Operator, pick us u-
The anomaly shoots up and crushes Duke against the iceberg. Cracking is heard as the anomaly crushes Duke's bones as Duke shoots helplessly. The iceberg shakes, and the anomaly rips off Duke's air tank.
Reed flees to the submersible, and the screams of Duke echo over the radio, the anomaly ripping and crushing and smashing. The video feed turns off.
<End Log>
Afterword: Lieutenant Reed arrived back at the facility later, but had severe wounds and injuries. He said that SCP-XXXX had malicious intentions, and would result in a K-Class scenario if not stopped. He expired soon after due to his injuries.

Welcome, Authorized Personnel
------
SCP-XXXX is a nature deity, focused on protecting nature. It viewed humanity as a threat to Earth, so it set out to eliminate the source of the destruction: Humans. Currently, Lead Researchers Kevin and Marie are in a tight relationship. Months before the XK-Class End-Of-The-World Scenario occurred, the two were always fighting. Kevin was constantly trying to impress the supervisor, to hopefully promote him to a higher status. Marie, on the other hand, was favored by everyone in the Foundation. After many events, an attempted murder, and eventually reconciliation between the two, the anomaly was stopped and contained. Thanks to them. A story of two researchers, torn apart by jealously, but mended together by tolerance and bravery. - O5-1
SCP-XXXX
Secure. Contain. Protect.
Kevin hurried over to his office and swung the door open. He mopped the sweat away from his face, and he entered the office. Marie was standing in front of the door, with her arms crossed.
"Why are you sweating?" Marie said. Kevin shrugged and plopped down in the chair beside her. He logged in, opened the file for an anomaly, and sent it to Supervisor Fred as a report. "You know that's not going to work. Your reports are sort of trashy anyway." She said in a matter-of-fact voice.
"At least I'm trying to get it right. All you do is hang around on your phone all day!" Kevin muttered. Marie walked away and sat down next to him.
"Let ME send that to Fred." She uploaded the file and emailed it to Fred's inbox. Kevin was tired of this. He always sent in his very best work, but Fred always remarked about how incompetent he was, and how his work was useless. It made him annoyed. He grunted, got up, and drank some water. He felt the refreshing liquid go down his throat and refuel his body. Kevin then took out a pen, and started the cycle of working on paperwork again.
The next day was average. Marie's email, of course, earned praise from Fred. Kevin flinched when he heard this, he felt a ball form in his throat. "Hey, Hey! O5 sent something to everyone." Marie exclaimed, and opened the email.
Hello all Foundation personnel,
A new anomaly has been tracked down. This, however, is not the usual anomaly we find. It is large, and appears to be a hydra. We sent Mobile Task Force Gamma-6 to investigate. We have their logs, but the only person who returned to us alive is now dead. Lieutenant Reed. This anomaly is currently residing in the Pacific Ocean. According to Reed, it has malicious intentions. The anomaly is bent on destroying humanity. For our "Crimes against nature, and containing his fellow worker." This is dangerous, and will initiate a K-Class Scenario if not stopped. All hands on deck, please.
The Overseers
"Woah… WHAT! We have to start working!" Kevin yelped, and he scrambled for a pen. Marie kicked him.
"Re-lax, those MTF guys or whatever will sort it out. We can just chill in the meantime." Marie said calmly. Kevin grew infuriated. Something appeared to be burrowing into him, a kind of hatred only someone who has been suppressed, and trodden on feels. He silently stood up, grabbed his laptop, plopped down onto his bed, and began combing the Foundation information on the anomaly.
Marie rolled over on her bed. "Go to sleep already… Its, what?" She checked her phone clumsily. "Three AM." Marie went back to sleep, but Kevin remained researching.
"Global migration patterns… Hm…" He muttered to himself. A little voice in his head told him silently, "You're nothing, don't bother. Fred will just help himself to whatever golden girl has to say. You're worth nothing." Kevin stopped. It was inevitable. Tears welled up in his eyes, and a horrible feeling of hopelessness overcame him, engulfing him, leaving him sobbing with his head on the desk at three AM in the morning.
Kevin woke up with his head on his desk, his hand still clutching the pen. Marie was nowhere to be seen. Kevin had stayed up for many nights without sleep now, and it was taking its toll. His hair was ruffled, his eyes baggy, and his movements sluggish. Although, one thing sustained him: He found out why this creature was doing what it was doing. He would be accepted as a hero in the Foundation. Maybe even an honorary O5! His feelings soared and he grinned. He had figured out what the anomaly was and why it was doing this. He crossed the hallway to the supervisor office.
"Idiot, this is worthless! Your partner Marie could've done better. Get out, OUT!" Fred yelled as Kevin scurried out of his office, leaking tears along the way. He opened the door and slammed it shut behind him. Kevin locked it, and sobbed into his pillow as he dropped into his bed. Tears were streaming down his cheeks. He was worthless. No one could understand him. No one wanted him. And in that moment a burst of insanity took over.
"Hey, Kevin. Where are you?" Marie walked into the office, everything dark. The door had been locked. Suddenly, Kevin jumped out, a knife in his hand, a maniacal glint in his eyes. Marie screamed, and Kevin pinned her down.
"You took everything!" He cried out, half-sobbing, half-yelling. With his shaking hands, he drove the knife down. Security personnel knocked through the door.
"STOP!" They yelled, and held up their guns. Kevin grazed Marie's shoulder, staining her coat crimson. The rest blurred past. He felt them yanking him backwards, and sticking a sleeping gummy into his mouth. He felt sluggish once more, and he sobbed, seeing Marie lying motionless on the ground, a medic attending to her. Then everything went black as the gummy took effect.
"Are you awake?"
Kevin opened his eyes, to find himself in a hospital bed with two armed guards standing next to his bed. Sitting next to him was Marie. "Err." He managed to say.
"Why did you do that?" She said softly, with tears of her own. He winced. "H-Had to." He mumbled. She looked at him.
"You took everything from me." He managed to choke out.
"How?" She said, her voice cracking. The feeling that a pit had opened in his stomach intensified.
"All my work. Everyone liked y-you. No one liked m-me." He sobbed. "I didn't want to do this." He choked. She looked down, and didn't answer.
"I didn't know you felt like that. I didn't want you t-to do this." She said, her voice notably trembling. He turned to the Security Personnel.
"When can I leave?" He asked. One of them grunted,
"O5 is going to demote you, after some talking they had." the guard finished. Kevin remained silent.
The two of them were in the dormitory. An armed guard was outside, in case the same incident happened again. "They said that humanity has a week, if not five days, tops. After that they'll boot up the machine." Marie said.
"I know." Kevin said softly. Marie cocked her head.
"You know? What do you know?" Marie asked.
"I know what… it does." Kevin said. Kevin tossed her the papers he had worked on. Her eyes widened as she read each line. Kevin realized something. Both of them could show this to Fred. If only she trusted him again. Still, it was worth a try.
"Hey, Marie." Kevin said. Marie looked at him. "Maybe both of us could show this to Fred, Y'know. He only trusts you. But I'll go with you." Kevin said.
"Sure!" Marie said. Kevin flinched. This was unexpected. He expected her to say no.
"Okay. When?" He asked.
"Now!" She said.
"Hey, Fred. Here." Marie handed Fred the papers. Kevin stayed hopeful.
"Hmm… Alright." He said, and typed for a moment on the computer before putting the papers in a conveyer belt. "This is now going to the O5. Congrats, you two are now going to be recognized." Fred said in a drawling voice.
"How fast?" Kevin said. Fred looked at him strangely.
"Of course, they have their means of responding." Fred said in the same monotonous voice. "Oh, they responded." Fred said.
Hello,
Due to your report, the scenario is averted. As you read this, Mobile Task Force teams are being deployed worldwide to contain the anomaly. As for you two researchers, welcome to the Lead Researcher Squad. You are now officially Lead Researchers on this anomaly.
The Overseers,
"Woah!" Marie gasped. Kevin's spirits rose, and he grinned.
"We're officially Lead Researchers!" Kevin laughed. They exited the office, smiling and laughing, just as an announcement came over the loudspeaker.
"The anomaly is contained. I repeat, the anomaly is now contained."

Special Containment Procedures
SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a standard containment cell at Area 25. Four heavily armed security officers must stay outside the cell at all times.
Any member of personnel that starts working with SCP-XXXX must complete Document XXXX with their name, clearance level, charge and date of joining.
In case of a containment breach, SCP-XXXX must be terminated immediately.
SCP-XXXX is a Chelonioidea, commonly known as a Sea Turtle, of around two (2) meters large. It possesses black scales and bioluminescent light blue spots in its fins and head.
SCP-XXXX is capable of levitating, moving its fins to propel itself, the same way non-anomalous Sea Turtles move their fins to swim underwater.
When alone, SCP-XXXX will levitate slowly around the room it is in. When a living being enters SCP-XXXX's field of view, it will quickly move towards the objective, and it will proceed to bite their neck. SCP-XXXX will not let its objective go until they are dead.
Instead of bone, SCP-XXXX's shell is made of several types of metals, among which are: Gold, Copper, Iron, Silver and an unknown type of metal. The "Shell" has a cleft on its top where there is a sphere made of glass, in the edge of the cleft it can be appreciated the figure of four elephants and the sentence "Life comes from death" written in Latin. The inside of the sphere is completely dark with white spots of different sizes.
Studies have revealed a series of gears, cables and circuits inside the "Shell", which are connected to both the sphere and the nervous and circulatory systems of SCP-XXXX.
SCP-XXXX was found in an underground bunker in ██████, inside a safe room. Alongside multiple tools commonly used in dissections and mechanical engineering, food cans, books with contents of alchemy, biology, and history, a notebook and a human corpse.
An investigation is ongoing to find out the identity of the deceased individual. Their cause of death was determined to be a shot in the skull, the murder weapon was not found in the bunker.
The notebook possesses multiple handwritten notes of scientific nature, except for the last written page.
Attached File: Last written page of the notebook.
I'm done, I'm sick of all these scientific reports with negative results. I've been working on this for months and I still can't get it to work.
Either the machine won't work or the animal doesn't survive, if this happens with the turtle, I don't care how much money they offer me, I'm leaving. I'm tired of living in this shitty bunker.
The moment that disgusting reptile wakes up, I'm going to shoot it in the head. If nothing happens, I'm going home.
It worked. Goddammit, it worked! Just like we were expecting it to work! The moment the bullet went through the turtle, I heard the gears moving and the glass breaking. I closed my eyes for a moment and when I open them, I was in front of the window of the safe room, the gun in my hand with all of its bullets, the turtle waking up, to the first time I saw it.
I did it, a living button to go back in time.
I can't believe it worked. It's not the first time I see something anomalous, but it's the first time I experience it. I guess those pieces of a God and the "magic metal" that they were talking so much were really something.
I'm calling X, I want to give them their fucking "Guardian" and receive my money, so I can go to the Bahamas.
Subject: Senior Researcher Johnathan Locke, selected due to his years working with the Foundation.
Procedure: After watching SCP-XXXX through the one-way-glass in the door of the containment cell, Researcher Locke will go inside and shoot SCP-XXXX in the head with a revolver.
Results: After watching the interior of the cell through the one-way-glass, Researcher Locke turned around and said "The note tells the truth" to the Security Officer with him.
Notes: Researcher Locke confirmed that, after terminating SCP-XXXX he was "sent back in time" to the first time he saw the entity.
Subject: Senior Researcher Luna Tylor, selected by Researcher Solo.
Procedure: After watching SCP-XXXX through the one-way-glass in the door of the containment cell, Researcher Tylor is to be told the phrase "In the end all the flowers bloom". After that she will go in and shoot SCP-XXXX in the head with a revolver.
Results: After watching the interior of the cell through the one-way-glass, Researcher Tylor started to tremble and refused to go in. When asked about what happened before going in, she mentioned the phrase "In the end all the flowers bloom".
Notes: Researcher Tylor mentioned being attacked by SCP-XXXX before killing it and being sent back in time. D-Classes will be used in further experiment.
Subject: D-28651.
Procedure: D-28651 will watch SCP-XXXX through the one-way-glass in the door of the containment cell. Three days later, he will go in and shoot SCP-XXXX in the head with a revolver.
Results: After watching the interior of the cell through the one-way-glass, the D-Class seemed confused and lost.
Notes: Further experiments to see if SCP-XXXX has some limit on the amount of time it can send someone back are to be made.
Subject: D-25203 and D-22104.
Procedure: D-25203 and D-22104 will watch SCP-XXXX through the one-way-glass in the door of the containment cell. One week and a half later, they will go inside the cell and D-25203 will shoot SCP-XXXX in the head with a revolver while D-22104 holds his hand.
Results: After watching the interior of the cell through the one-way-glass, D-25203 seemed confused and lost. D-22104 appeared normal.
Notes: It does not seem like SCP-XXXX's abilities can send two persons at the same time, only the one that triggered the mechanism.
Subject: D-19285.
Procedure: According to Security Officer Coraline Cheshire, D-19285 would watch SCP-XXXX through the one-way-glass in the door of the containment cell, after that he would go into the cell with heavy protection and a hammer made of titanium, and destroy SCP-XXXX's shell.
Results: After watching the interior of the cell, D-19285 went in and was unable of destroying the shell, being terminated by SCP-XXXX. While retrieving the body SCP-XXXX breached containment. Security Officer Coraline Cheshire terminated SCP-XXXX, following the containment procedures and was sent back in time.
Notes: Test E, according to Officer Cheshire, took place in February 2047. This makes Officer Cheshire's the longest travel thus far, being of 26 years.
Message from the Overseer Council
After talking with Researcher Solo and reading the Test Log, it has been decided that keeping SCP-XXXX under Foundation control is a top priority.
Having the ability of going back in time with one's memories can be a fearsome weapon if used correctly.
The Foundation will use it to prevent any K-Class scenarios, as such it has been given the secondary class "Hera", for items that are hostile but very useful to the Foundation, due to its aggressive nature.
An investigation to find out who ordered the creation of SCP-XXXX and if there are other items like it will start.
Further tests with SCP-XXXX are now prohibited unless authorized by a Level 5 Personnel.
