SCP-001: 2020, The Worst Year In Foundation History

Special Containment Procedures: Containment of SCP-XXXX is currently impossible due to its hold over the natural processes of Earth. Should SCP-XXXX ever occcur, SCP-2000 may be used to ensure otherwise. On December 31st, 2019, all SCP sites and/or areas housing one of the following items are to prepare for recontainment and protection.
All survivors of the SCP-XXXX event stationed within secure facilities are to remain in contact with one another. All survivors are to remain indoors at all times and receive absolutely no exposure to the outside world, as it is a direct threat to the subject’s life and the life around it. SCP-XXXX is a threat to all life on a global scale.
All SCPs that have breached during SCP-XXXX are to be recontained immediately by any means necessary.
Description: SCP-XXXX an event comprised of 12 sub-events that occur throughout the 366-Day year of 2020.
On January 1st, 2020, SCP-XXXX will initiate. During SCP-XXXX, several other SCPs will either breach containment or on rare occasions, be neutralized. The SCPs that breach during SCP-XXXX will occasionally gain and expand abilities and knowledge that were not present nor discovered prior to the SCP-XXXX event. SCPs neutralized prior to SCP-XXXX will reanimate and all records regarding the neutralization of said SCP will change to reflect their new, reanimated, status.
The SCPs that breach during the SCP-XXXX events have varying goals, though they share a common factor, that being the destruction of the foundation and humanity entirely.
Over the course of SCP-XXXX, The events become exponentially worse as it progresses, with the final month resulting in the complete destruction of planet earth.
Addendums JAN-DEC XXXX:
SCP-1178 | Month 1
SCP-1178 successfully breached containment, causing what could potentially be considered World War III. The only known countries currently at war with one another only include USA and Iran.

SCP-457 | Month 2
In an attempt to grow in strength, SCP-457 consumed almost all SCP Files within the filing rooms of multiple SCP sites, subsequently discovering SCP-4000. Power-hungry, SCP-457 successfully completed the ritual and actively enters and burns the taboo into an inhabitable wasteland. The nameless forest is hereby considered neutralized.

SCP-008 | Month 3
Agent ██████ contracted SCP-008, transmitting the infection to all personnel within Site-19 via direct contact or air molecules. All other SCP-008 victims seem to be indestructible, and cannot die via SCP-008, nor via conventional or other anomalous means.

SCP-2399 | Month 4
SCP-2399 reached 100% structural completion. SCP-2399 headed towards earth, causing all items relating to its containment procedures, including SCP satellites and space stations, to malfunction. Upon landing, SCP-2399 launched attacks at all SCP sites it was able to encounter, consequently causing several other containment breaches. Additionally, SCP-2399 was able to kill approximately 2 Billion humans over the course of 7 days.

SCP-973 has taken a significant interest in only chasing after colored people, which has caused ongoing significant controversy on the global level. A movement known as "Black Lives Matter" (BLM) has begun worldwide, where riots will take place demanding back the rights of their colored people.

SCP-3368 | Month 6
SCP-3368 was capable of attacking most SCP-008 victims, and 1 Billion more non-infected humans. At the point of contact, 100% of subjects will begin to transform into a combination of a 008 and 3368 victim.

Several posts about an apocalypse claiming "the foundation is to blame" surfed all over the web on Twitter, Tumblr, Reddit, Instagram, and Facebook. Additional posts were suggesting it was all a hoax, which significantly increased casualties.

SCP-1178 | Month 8
A missile launched at a firework factory in Beirut, Lebanon, caused a 320-meter mushroom cloud and an explosion of approximately 50 mSv, leaving 4M killed and 500K injured.

SCP-1471 | Month 9
Due to the on-going chaos, the foundation was forced to neutralize SCP-1471, as the government deemed it too publicly available to be kept contained. All SCP-1471-1s have subsequently disappeared without a trace.
49M Remain.
SCP-1234 | Month 10
SCP-1234 entered its electromagnetic fluctuation phase, sending all electronic devices within 600 meters into a 72-hour flurry, and wiping out all human and animal lifeforms within a 600-meter radius. (Previously 300)
8M Remain.
SCP-1981 | Month 11
SCP-1981 was globally transmitted on all reflective surfaces and displays, even disfunctional ones. SCP-1981 was played 7 times before SCP-1981-1 showed up. All subsequent viewers of the tape committed suicide.
14K Remain.
SCP-2845 | Month 12
SCP-2845-1 instances spontaneously began to appear as a massive 2845-1 instance grows out of the south pole, working its way up through the core of the earth to presumably emerge out through the north pole.

Our job was to Secure the unsecured, Contain the uncontained, and Protect the unprotected. And guess what, we failed miserably. It forced us to fail miserably. It took an interest in the foundation, and used our best weapons against us: The things we contain. Our SCPs. It took interest because it noticed that while trying to protect the world, we could literally destroy it whenever we wanted. How pathetic. Relying on us to exist. Too bad it's its last day. Keters have always been complicated, but never have I ever in my entire career as an [SYSTEM-ERROR] encountered an anomaly so complex it could practically turn any and all SCPs into keters. An anomaly so complex, it figured out the inner workings of the entire SCP Foundation. An anomaly so astronomically incomprehensible, so unfathomable, you could only sit there, and live through it. All I can say is that… The worst thing that happens to the foundation, will always be the worst thing for the entirety of humanity.
