SCP-6969

Item #: SCP-6969

Object Class: Safe

Description: SCP-6969 is a small, clear plastic tackle box capable of producing any writing utensil imaginable. If a person closes his/her eyes, and opens the box, the utensil thought of by the opener will appear in the openers hand. These items are classified as
SCP-6969-2. The items have some anomalous properties, as pens and pencils created have seemingly infinite ink or lead. These resources are not just created, however, but taken from the openers body, similar to SCP-117. The resources to create the utensil are not taken from the body, but the resources needed to work them are. Items pulled from SCP-6969 include: A CASIO brand fx-115ES PLUS calculator, the owners guide for said calculator, multiple pencils with a Dentist offices branding on them, 4 mechanical pencils with PAPERMATE branding, cases of lead for those pencils, multiple unbranded styluses, 20 eraser caps, 3 TICONDEROGA eraser blocks, as well as erasers for the PAPERMATE pencils.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-6969 and all instances of SCP-6969-2 are to be handled by Dr. *REDACTED*, as his bodily resources are not used up by him. This is the only person whose resources are not taken. Multiple D-Class personnel have reached in the box while thinking of a utensil that SCP-6969 could not produce, and have immediately lost the hand that reached in. Hands lost to SCP-6969 were not able to be re-attached, or even found, as hands resources are absorbed, therefore taking less of the bodily resources of anyone reaching in that is not Dr. *REDACTED*.
