SCP-053 Soft Rewrite Proposal - Finished (Dr Denoka Traks)
Item #: SCP-053
Object Class: Euclid
Threat Level: Yellow
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-053 is to be contained in a Standard Secure Humanoid Containment Cell with adequate space to move around. SCP-053's cell is to be outfitted to suit the needs of a young child, and must have proper bedding and a functioning bathroom. Toys, books, games, and other recreational devices are to be amply provided and rotated at the request of SCP-053. While it does not seem to have a need for sustenance, food should be provided three (3) times daily, and two (2) snacks are allowed if requested.
Absolutely no physical contact is to be made with SCP-053 unless wearing a full atmosphere-containment suit and eye shielding. No sustained eye contact is to be made with SCP-053 for any reason. Any objects given to personnel by SCP-053 may be accepted, but must be put into quarantine for examination first to ensure that they are safe. Only one (1) member of personnel may be present in SCP-053's cell at any given time and must be secured by a safety line of steel cable in case they fall victim to SCP-053's effects. All personnel must exit SCP-053's containment chamber within 10 minutes of entering, no exceptions.
Any personnel who begin to act erratically, scream, or attempt to grab SCP-053 are to be immediately removed from the cell and quarantined. Any personnel attempting to remove their suit are also to be removed and quarantined. Under no circumstances may any sharp objects or firearms be brought into SCP-053's containment cell.
Description: SCP-053 appears to be a small 3-year-old girl of Caucasian descent, and possesses dark brown hair and brown eyes. It is capable of basic speech expected of a human child around the same age, and seems to be slightly above average in mental development. It has a generally pleasant personality and rarely seems upset, becoming agitated only in the presence of groups of people.
Any and all humans over the age of three who make eye contact with, physically touch, or remain around SCP-053 for longer than a total of around 10 minutes a day will rapidly become irrational, paranoid, and homicidal. Most if not all of these feelings will be directed at SCP-053, and affected people will attempt to kill SCP-053 as well as kill or drive off any other humans visible to them. Those attempting to kill SCP-053 will fatal massive heart attacks or seizures and expire almost immediately after causing any physical damage to SCP-053. SCP-053 will regenerate almost instantaneously from any wound, regardless of severity.
SCP-053 appears to be entirely ignorant of its effects, and ignores any and all subjects affected. When questioned about its anomalous effects, SCP-053 does not seem to be capable of responding, but will be in noticeably lower spirits for a few hours after any questioning about these effects. This happens after people are affected by SCP-053's effects as well, despite it not acknowledging said people during attacks. It is worth noting that even if effected personnel are removed from SCP-053's containment cell, they will remain hostile indefinitely. Testing has revealed that using amnestics on said individuals will negate SCP-053's effect and 'cure' them, although reintroducing them to SCP-053 will result in immediate hostility.
SCP-053 was contained on August ██, 196█ after appearing in downtown New York. A Foundation agent was alerted to the entity's presence when a group of people abruptly began attacking it and each other, with all those who attacked SCP-053 expiring almost immediately. SCP-053 was quickly subdued with tranquilizers and transported out of the city without further incident once back-up arrived. After the incident, Class-A amnestics were spread throughout the general population of the city and a cover story was spread via local news stations and news papers stating that a gunman was responsible for the deaths. Upon being brought to the Foundation, it was found that SCP-053 possessed no memory of anything prior to its containment, not even the event in which it was discovered.
As of now, SCP-053 is the only officially recognized member of the 'Emotian' species remaining, making it the last of its kind. SCP-053's containment chamber is also the home of one (1) of the two (2) remaining instances of SCP-4574-1 left behind by SCP-4574 after its neutralization.

SCP-053's Relation to SCP-4574 and SCP-4576
During an interview with SCP-4574 carried out by Dr. Edmund Jesko on February ██, 199█ after SCP-4574 regained its lost memories, SCP-4574 revealed that it had a child in the past with SCP-4576, who the two named 'Ambivalencia', and that the Foundation apparently has had this child contained for the past ██ years since 196█. Upon looking into this claim, it was found that SCP-4574 was likely referring to SCP-053, who's appearance as well as the time and place of capture matched up perfectly with how SCP-4574 described it. A follow up interview with SCP-4574 revealed that SCP-4574 did indeed recognize SCP-053 as its child upon being shown a photograph and provided with some information on it.
After careful consideration from the research teams assigned to both entities, the Site Director, Assistant Site Director, and Assistant Site Director of Research from both Site-88 and Site-██, as well as 05-██ and 05-██, the following test was approved and carried out in an attempt to jog SCP-053's memory in regards to SCP-4574.
Personnel Overseeing Test: Dr. Matthew Emerson, Dr. Isabella Jackson
Main Subject: SCP-053
Test Subject(s): Photograph of SCP-4574
Date of Test: March ██, 199█, 1200 hours
Objective: To determine whether or not SCP-053 recognizes SCP-4574 as its mother.
Test Proceedings: SCP-053 initially displayed no notable reaction upon being given the photograph of SCP-4574, looking at it curiously while remaining silent. When asked if it recognized the person in the picture, SCP-053 looked at the photograph closely, paused, and then slowly shook its head 'No'. SCP-053 was then prompted with terms such as 'New York', 'Home', and 'Mother', with the hopes that these phrases might trigger some memories, but none of these prompts yielded any significant reaction.
The test was soon considered a failure, but when a researcher entered SCP-053's containment chamber in order to retrieve the photograph of SCP-4574, it was discovered that SCP-053 had become strangely attached to it, refusing to give it back to the researcher and running away to the other side of the room, hiding under the bed. Retrieval of the photograph was then deemed unnecessary, and the researcher left the chamber, ending the test.
Findings: This test ended with conflicting results. While it is overall considered a failure due to SCP-053 not recognizing SCP-4574 nor making the connection when given prompting phrases such as 'New York', 'Home', and 'Mother', SCP-053 has shown an intense possessiveness of the photograph, having been noted as keeping the photograph with it at all times as of now. When asked about why it likes the photograph so much, SCP-053 replied that it didn't know, but felt happy when it had the picture. An investigation was carried out into whether or not photographs of SCP-4574 have anomalous properties immediately following this remark, but no such properties were found.
These results seem to indicate that while SCP-053 is almost definitely the child of SCP-4574, it has long since forgotten, but may still hold a subconscious connection without realizing judging by its affinity for SCP-4574's photograph. As of now, no plans to do similar tests with photographs of either SCP-4575 or SCP-4576 are slated to go forward due to the inherently negative and unpredictable abilities surrounding both entities. If SCP-053 does eventually remember SCP-4574, it is assumed that it would also remember SCP-4575 and SCP-4576, in which case SCP-4574 has been informed to tell SCP-053 that SCP-4575 and SCP-4576 are both deceased in the event of a meeting between the two.
Test Log Edit: SCP-053 started complaining about having headaches on August ██, 199█ at 1300 hours. At 1900 hours, SCP-053 began crying for its mother while staring at the photograph of SCP-4574. After careful consideration, a meeting between the two is to take place on September ██, 199█ at 1200 hours.

Cross-Testing Between SCP-053 and SCP-4574
The matter of cross-testing between SCP-053 and SCP-4574 was revisited on August ██, 199█, when at 1300 hours SCP-053 started complaining about having headaches, and at 1900 hours it began crying for its mother while holding the photograph of SCP-4574. After careful consideration, a meeting between the two was scheduled to take place on September ██, 199█ at 1200 hours. However, due to the neutralization of SCP-4574 on August ██, 199█ during the catastrophic containment breach at Site-88, this meeting never took place.
After being told about the scheduled meeting between it and SCP-4574, SCP-053 had been reported as being very excited, drawing pictures of it and SCP-4574 and telling all personnel who entered its cell about how it was going to see its 'mommy' soon. Upon learning of its neutralization, though, SCP-053 entered a state of severe depression, crying constantly and refusing to eat or sleep for nearly 3 months. Eventually, SCP-053 more or less returned to its normal state, but has since been observed regularly drawing pictures of itself and SCP-4574, which it decorates its room with, and still occasionally cries about wanting to see its mother.
