Special Containment Procedures SCP-10002 is to be kept in a 30x30 centimeter steel box with 1 lock on Site-█. No less then 3 armed personnel are required to move SCP-10002 as per 05-█‘s orders.

Description: SCP-10002 is a 25x25 centimeter steel machine with 1 exit and entry port (10x10cm). SCP-10002 dates back to ██BC but lacks rust on its exterior. SCP-10002 can upgrade or degrade the item inserted. It is estimated to be a 50/50% chance between upgrading and degrading. If an item inserted through the entry slot is upgraded, a replica of the item will exit the exit slot dating 500 years into the future. Though, if it is degraded, the item will date 1000 years into the past. Scans have shown the machine to be hollow except for a pipe connecting from the entry to the exit port. The steel that makes up the machine is made from unknown origin and is much sturdier than present day steel. This makes the Overseers council believe that this SCP came from aliens. Personel with level 4 or higher clearance are permitted to use this SCP. If damage is sustained during testing, the director of the testing will be severely reprimanded.

The above shows the stone slab received from the exit port of SCP-10002. It had a frame carved into it which is slightly decayed.

Test A - █/█/████

Subject: SCP-10002
Procedure: A peice of paper was entered into SCP-10002’s entry port.
Results: A stone slab with the same dimensions as the peice of paper exited the exit port.
Analysis: The stone slab dated 1000 years into the past. During the period of which the stone slab came from, paper had already exsisted. I believe that it may have gotten the stone slab from a certain kind of country which didn’t have paper yet. This is confusing, Dr. Dark.

Test C - ██/█/████

Subject: SCP-10002
Procedure: A minature police grade pistol was inserted into the entry port.
Results: A minature gun dating 500 years into the future exited the exit port.
Analysis: Scans and further testing on the future weapon discovered that it fired a type of heated plasma from a power source inside the gun that had extreme capacity for such a small storage. “ We may be able to use this for technological advancements by dissecting future tech. If only we had a bigger version of SCP-10002, Dr. Yellow”.

Test 10002D - █/██/████

Subject: SCP-10002
Procedure: Salt weighing about 1gram inserted into the entry port.
Results: The new salt that exited through the exit port immediately started corroding the metal interior of SCP-10002. Agent ███ was then ordered to remove the new salt substance. Agent ███ managed to grab hold of the substance which then proceeded to dissolve Agent ███’s glove and skin. Agent ███ then screamed in pain and dropped the substance to the ground which then dissolved and disappeared. Agent ███ was sent to the infirmary for medical treatment. During this, SCP-10002 had been extensively damaged by the salt substance and is bad condition.
Analysis: Dr. ████ was relieved of duty and given class a amnestics. “We have yet to try to repair this thing. We don’t know how and I believe that we shouldn’t risk damaging it even more then it already is, 05-█“.

Addendum: After, See Incident Log 3019CB, only task force members from Mobile Task Force Unit Alpha-1, (“Red Right Hand”) are allowed to move SCP-10002 between sites. WARNING: AFTER Testing Log 10002D, ALL TESTING WITH SCP-10002 HAS BEEN SUSPENDED UNLESS A VOTE FROM THE MAJORITY OF THE 05 COUNCIL AGREES. PERSONELL DISOBEYING THESE ORDERS WILL BE TERMINATED IMMEDIATELY.
