Containment:
SCP 10983 is contained in a small box, of pinewood, 1 foot, 2 feet, 3 feet. The box is contained in a humanoid cell. The box containing the entity appears to have been fractured before. There is no lock on the box, meaning the door can hinge freely. The box is to be out of direct light, but there is to be 4 (redacted) watt lightbulbs in the cell at all times. If light bulbs go out for any reason, a Special Reaction Team (SRT) is to be sent in with humaniod response gear and assault rifles. The bulb is to be changed in 10 minutes or less. GUARDS MUST MAKE AS LITTLE NOISES AS POSSIBLE, ENTERING, STANDING GAURD, AND EXITING.
Description:
SCP -10983 is a doll, made by (company name redacted), in 1890. It is .78 meters tall and appears to have human level inteligence. The doll is designed to look like a human female age approximately 8 years old. The subject has black eys of a material of glassy origan yet unknown.
Effects:
SCP 10983 appears to people who need friends, or who are mentaly ill. It typicaly manefests itself as a remembered loved-one, though research shows that it also comes to people who are dishonest and greedy. It proceeds to then lure the subject into a dark place, seemingly able to control the mind. Reports of this have shown one subject was shot 14 times by a cop, walking into a restricted area. The subject should have died of his wounds, as he was shot in the head (redacted) times. He continued walking dispite his fatal injuries, the body was never seen again.
It is beleved that the dolll itself, once a victim is taken, does a ritule of probably satanic origan, to become the human. An attack hasn't happened for ten years, as it is in containment, but upon hearing humans in its cell it will wake up, and kill them using a horrificly brutal (redacted)(redacted). Multiple attempts have been made to destroy it, all failing.
