Special Containment Procedures: SCP-#### must have lights shinning at all times. If the lighting goes out emergency generators must be activated until the main generators are online. SCP-#### is contained in ware house-1097. All personnel working with SCP-#### must be rotated every 2 weeks.

Description: SCP-#### is a black pool with indescribable properties it is 100X75 in size. When in the presence of light it will remain docile, however if the light is obstructed or gone SCP-#### will lash out with various tentacle like appendages which are virtually indestructible. SCP-#### will "crawl" using its appendages and it will consume any form of matter and expand in size. SCP-#### is extremely aggressive to all sentient beings, it is thought that SCP-#### to possess rudimentary sentience (see containment breach log-01) and it expressed hatred to those that contained it.

SCP-#### has been observed to alter the will of those around it, compelling those affected to obstruct lights. Those affected must be transported to mandatory therapy, and must not come into contact with SCP-####. those controlled speak phrases such as: "darkness shall keep growing" and "you are foolish to think you can stop it"

SCP-#### breached containment after several d-class shut down both the main generators and emergency generators. SCP-#### began consuming all around it.
outcome: 23 personnel died, 69 civilians, and 25 MTF. 117 deaths in total. SCP-#### has been seen scrawling words on the walls "you are blind not accept the dark". it is not confirmed SCP-#### is sentient but it is plausible. SCP-#### was recontained after a week of fighting (and tons of crappy flash lights)
