Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-1 is to be kept in a brightly colored room resembling that of a nursery with minor amenities and carefully monitored at all times. At least one member of the staff is to be stationed outside the room with regularly scheduled shift-changes every eight to ten hours, with at least 2 guards waiting outside of containment with shift changes every 12-16 hours.
The use of female staff only is recommended as SCP-XXXX-1 seems to react happily to their presence. Under no circumstances is weaponry such as firearms allowed to be permitted within SCP-XXXX's line of site. Caution is advised against bringing gifts for SCP-XXXX-1 unless authorized by a Level 3 or higher Staff Member. Failure to comply will result in immediate reassignment. Further repeat offenders will be terminated(fired) on the spot. Class-D personnel are to be shot on sight if attempting to smuggle in unauthorized items to SCP-XXXX or SCP-XXXX-1.
Non-SCP children are not to be permitted or given entry into room unless Authorized by a Level 4 or higher Staff Member.
Description: SCP-[XXXX] resembles a large reptilian facultative biped green lizard at a height of approximately 8-to-10 feet, weighing in at at least 159.665 Kilograms. The head of the creature resembles that of a lizard's made entirely of skull, with no apparent eyes or ears despite its enhanced sight and hearing. Large thick black hair can be seen growing from atop it's skull-like head, partially covering the face where it's eyes should be, and stretching halfway down its back. In addition, a large pair of Deer-like horns can be seen protruding from its skull which emanates from the back of its head. Although it resembles a myriad of different animals, blood work has shown to be inconclusive with anything on this planet. Further study is needed.
Upon closer examination, SCP-XXXX-1, which was identified as female, was discovered to possess similar traits to SCP-XXXX, with a minuscule pair of horns over its head, and a small stump of black hair on the back of its head under the blonde hair the infant appears to have. However, studies have shown from its blood work that, unlike SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX-1's is certifiably human's. This suggests that either something converted SCP-XXXX-1 into a being similar to SCP-XXXX at a given point, or that SCP-XXXX-1 may have been born that way, and SCP-XXXX changed its body to resemble an adult figure of SCP-XXXX-1's developed age.
The SCP, which has been dubbed as "The Matron" is almost constantly docile and active as it attends to SCP-XXXX-1's basic necessities between food, hygiene, and entertainment. Although shown to be capable of keeping SCP-XXXX-1 entertained on its own, at times, it has been observed finding simple items around the containment room whenever SCP-XXXX-1 has been shown lacking in attention. This may in turn prove that SCP-XXXX has some form of direct connection to SCP-XXXX-1 and can sense what it needs or desires, but test results have been inconclusive thus far.
Although seeming to have a docile state, SCP-XXXX has been known to run rampant in the event it hears SCP-XXXX-1's cries, senses distress, or senses that someone or something wishes to bring harm to SCP-XXXX-1's being. In the event of a possible containment breach protocol, a female staff member must enter the containment and discover the source of SCP-XXXX-1's discomfort immediately.
Under no circumstances are personnel to think of thoughts pertaining to injuring SCP-XXXX-1 in any given way. As a precaution, D-Class Personnel are forbidden from knowing of SCP-XXXX-1's existence under penalty of death.
Recovery Log: SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-1 were both discovered in a previously abandoned village along a European settlement. SCP-XXXX was discovered holding what appeared to be a human infant inside of a rundown orphanage in one arm, standing upright as it cradled the young infant within a bright green swaddle. Despite its appearance, SCP-XXXX-1 shows no signs of fear of the creature, though whether this is due to SCP-XXXX's constant presence or otherwise has yet to be determined.
Upon initial discovery, SCP-XXXX and XXXX-1 were successfully retrieved roughly three hours after initial encounter, and taken to the nearest SCP Facility. Report from the events that transpired there can only be viewed with a Level 4 or higher Clearance.
