Item # : SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid Keter
(Note: Check the Site ██ Incident.)

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX should be contained within a 3 meter by 3 meter by 3 meter containment chamber with the walls made up of a metal alloy made from a 6 inch thick metal sheet combination of Aluminum and Steel. D-Class are to be allowed to bring a single item with them of their choice to help further develop research. D-Class are to NEVER bring any items with them under no circumstances, other than their clothes to tests regarding SCP-XXXX (Look into the Site ██ Incident for reasonings.) Staff should move in rotations regarding security cameras in XXXX'S chamber. SCP-XXXX is to be under 24 hour surveillance.
The entrance to SCP-XXXX id to be made of said mixture and be the size of an average North American house door. If SCP-XXXX-1 would ever get out of containment of SCP-XXXX-2 then following after this, all site staff in the sector are required to say information of themselves. Reserve guards should be securing all exits leading out of the site and all branches of site staff are required release the bear amount of information regarding their work. After no escape attempts from a span of 30 minutes to escape the facility, all some reserve security personnel are to be sent in to inspect the items in the facility. If any personnel were to come out of the facility during the breach, the reserve security personnel will do a body search to root out if SCP-XXXX-1 was either a item on the person or the very person them self. The door should always be guarded by a security personnel armed with a fire arm that should be mainly on safety. The entrance to SCP-XXXX is to have a personnel armed with a electrical baton at all times with a security team on standby during tests.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a cylindrical jar that is 1 foot in height and 6 inches in width that contains a jelly-like substance inside with no known origin. SCP-XXXX-1 is the sentient substance inside of the jar. SCP-XXXX-2 is the jar holding the mysterious jelly-like substance inside.

SCP-XXXX-1 is a dark jelly-like substance that seems to have intellect and has 1 eye that is approximately 4 1/2 inches in width and 4 inches in height. SCP-XXXX-1 has the ability to transform into anything it sees (including intelligent organisms, such as humans.) SCP-XXXX-1 will have the abilities the said object or organism possesses when transformed as them. As numerous subjects have said, the substance the SCP has feels slime like. SCP-XXXX-1 has the ability to launch pieces of its body. After launch, the piece returns to the main body. Contact with this modified version of its body part leads to moments of hallucinations and soon after, loss of consciousness for a a short amount of time. Discovery of this new found ability from the anomaly happened after a re-watch from camera recordings during a security meeting about a containment breach in September.

SCP-XXXX-2 is the jar holding the substance. The glass that is used to contain SCP-XXXX-1 is highly resilient, able to hold against explosives and gunfire. Only to have the glass slowly recover and fixing the cracked glass in a similar way of natural wound healing, releasing minimal smoke and making a "hissing" sound from the cracked area. On the glass of SCP-XXXX-2 reads "Beta Test" in dark bold letters on the top center, seemingly to have been written in permanent marker. SCP-XXXX was found in an abandoned science exhibit exploration center located in Argentina.

Addendum(s)

Addendum-1: When empty, SCP-XXXX-2 will open its own lid and throw it every few hours to the direction where SCP-XXXX-1 is located.

Addendum-2: If transformed, SCP-XXXX-1 can absorb parts of its body, making the others more powerful and resilient.

Addendum-3: If SCP-XXXX-1 were to transform into any type of explosive, after a exact minute, the SCP would forcefully explode and take 30-90 seconds to regenerate, going back to its original form. This causes harm to itself and its surroundings. (NOTE: Keep any modern projectile weapons and ALL explosives away from SCP-XXXX.)

The Site ████ Report

The following is a transcription of a interview between Dr. Roswell and a site guard survivor.

Interviewed: Private James ████

Interviewer: Dr. Roswell

Foreword: The Private and Doctor sit at a desk facing each other with a guard outside in front of the door. The interview is related to a recent mass site breach caused by SCP-XXXX.

<Begin Log>

Dr. Roswell: Now please tell us Private what happened during the incident.

Pvt. James: W-well the day started out normal, me and my squad were on standby of course while a test was happening or something. Heard this test was different than the others, apparently some Class-D got approval to show a picture he found on the floor. Somebody said that it was a 100 foot giant from a movie or something. Due to this being a strange brand new test, we were informed to move into the one way glass room where the doctors were conducting the experiment. Y’know just in case something goes wrong. And… Something did go wrong…
(Private James's speech slowly becomes mumbles, as if attempting to hold back details.)

Dr. Roswell: Speak up, the reason why we chose you for this interview is because you were the closest to the anomaly at the time and we're trying to help the foundation prevent incidents such as this from happening. Now then, please continue.

Pvt James: As soon as that D-Class showed the picture, it was almost as if we just opened Pandora's Box. Soon after the poor guy showed the picture, it was like every object and the air around us became weaker. As if every object just became hollow, then me and every researcher in the observation area noticed somethin' strange happening to the anomaly. It was expanding quickly, getting larger and bigger by the second, until maybe a moment later the glass of the jar started to crack. A massive explosion of pressure seemed to be just pushing everything in the whole chamber, poor Class-D got squished like a gummy on the wall, guy probably died of head trauma. The squad leader noticed the reinforced glass was startin to break, so the next thing I hear is my squad leader yelling at the fricken top of his lungs "Everybody take cover!" Luckily I flipped and hid behind the metal table, if I hadn't then I wouldn't be here today. You already know what happened to everyone else in the room after your little clean up crew came to fix the mess, so please just give me the mercy of not detailing the deaths of my fallen comrades.

Dr. Roswell: According to the report, they had their bones, muscles, and every part of the human body pressed down severely against the back wall. Having even fragments of glass stuck in thei —

Pvt. James: With all do respect Doctor, just because I won't say it, doesn't mean YOU have to.
Dr. Roswell: Alright then, let's carry on with the interview.
(Private James attempts to clear his throat and takes a sip of a glass of water.)
Pvt. James: Once the wind was finally over I immediately ran over to the system to announce the breach. Although after this I saw something strange in the chamber itself, it was a stone person. It had no accustomed facial features so it didn't seem to have a gender. Then it hit me, this thing took the form of not the picture itself, but what was in the picture. The anomaly utilized its new size to break out of its jar, then absorbed the extra body parts to form a highly dangerous being. I stood in front of something that had multiplied the extent of physical human limits by 20 fold. I wanted to run, but it seemed I was too surprised to see this happening, an SCP that was given Euclid as its Object Class caused so much destruction this early on in a breach! It looked up at me, practically disappeared and punched the door out of its frame with one punch, attempting to escape the facility. At that moment I just ran as fast as I could. When I was bolting down the hall way, I contacted Site command to get a group to intercept the anomaly. Of course it was approved, saw maybe the 3 or 4 squads jogging pass me while running to my superiors for further orders. After I got to the remaining superiors I had, I gave a summary of what happened. Seeing as though I seemed to know what I was talking about, they passed me a wire to speak with the leader of the group, even got to look at the site cameras to see how the plan worked out. Told them to be cautious, to corner it and immediately fire upon it when it was trapped. Seemed like a solid plan right? Well it worked till the end. When the squad finally cornered it, they fired round after round after round into that thing. It fell over, I even felt relieved! But, when the group were making their return… It stood up. Behind their backs it swiftly ran over and broke the first guys neck like a twig. One by one half of the security force was wiped out. The reserves were then dispatched in, only to meet the same fate. The desperate screams and rapid gunfire of people I've worked with for years still echoes from time to time. Next thing I know, the SCP is freeing Euclid and Keter Class across the grid. Then soon following that MTF starts comin in, bustin down doors and executing D-Class on sight. Soon after this, both we and any survivors are escorted out of the facility. Not sure what the MTF's that were dispatched inside did, but soon after we were escorted with a blanket 'round us and put on helicopters separately, that thing became a giant again! Bursting through the whole facility roof, hope you still remember that this was a giant. The helicopters that were already landed and had no passengers were soon back flying to deal with the anomaly. Those copters completely showered it in bullets, there was no way it survived something like that! It slowly dissipated into this huge puddle of purple sludge. Some MTF's were told to quarantine it and others to find the jar that was used to permanently seal it in. After a little while they found the jar in perfect condition, even with the words still on it! Just like what the document says! When they approached the puddle though, it immediately reformed… it was playing dead. Do I have to say the rest? This is bringing back some bad memories.

Dr. Roswell: No, please finish the story private.

Pvt James: As I was saying, it was playing dead. It completely reformed back to its humanoid state and proceeded to kill everyone in sight of its wrath at insane speeds. The MTF that retrieved the jar ran over to the helicopter I was in. When the ground troops were still dealing with the anomaly, all helicopters with survivors residing within them immediately departed at the sight of people being brutally torn apart or heavily injured. Other helicopters stayed to provide air support for the MTF's. I actually thought I was safe, in the clear y'know? Looked at the guy with the jar and asked what are we gonna do next? Just said to me "I don't even know myself, for all I know the whole team that I came with might be dead. Just wait for new orders." While on the copter ride, I heard a few explosions, I thought they were lighten up that thing like the 4th of July. When one of the copters came back we questioned what happened. They said, in their own words "Subject neutralized, move back to base." We were buying the act at first, but we noticed somethin fishy about the copter. It had heavily tinted pilot windows. One of the pilots questioned it and asked for a emergency landing, we did to check out whats going on with the new pilot. We landed in a field, all of us came out see whats up with him. One of the pilots tried to forcefully slide open the door, then the handle just broke off like it rusted for years and then dissipated into the purple stuff the thing is made of. The stuff dropped down to the floor, slowly moved toward it, then quickly got back on the door, transforming back to the handle. Like metal to a magnet. Everyone immediately backed up, some scientist even pulled out a pistol and pointed it straight at the helicopter. I mean, what was he gonna do with that? Everyone already knows that firearms are useless towards it right now because of how reinforced its new body is. The pilots immediately attempted to get back to their helicopters, but it was sadly to late. The thing flew up and just mowed down any chance of escape. With no ways to flee, we were forced to fight. The pilots drew out their foundation issued pistols and immediately fired upon the helicopter above us. Flying up a few feet, it then transformed into its super human form, dropping on the ground like a meteor. Others attempted to flee, others tried to fight, I opted to flee with the MTF. We ran for as long as we could until I was out of breath. The guy could have clearly ran for much longer then me but decided to stay. With me out of breath, I laid on my back to look if we were followed. Both of us thought it would be better if we rested a bit so I can catch my breath. Not even for a few minutes, I saw it, just across the horizon, I pointed at it and said "Freaking already." Still exhausted, I tried to get up only to fail. It was up to the MTF to kill it. I saw him take out his rifle and aim it towards the anomaly. The thing immediately started to run towards him, attempting to trace its movement he fired at potential areas where it could be. Moving in unpredictable patterns, it quickly caught up to him, punching him in the gut as soon as it closed the distance. In his dying breath, he rolled the jar towards me. It was now up to me to face something that massacred a facility worth of people. Standing maybe a few meters away from me, it allowed for me to stand up. It was taunting me. I took off the lid the jar had and put a nearby long stick inside the jar as a makeshift handle. Soon it started to charge straight at me. With all my strength, I slashed as fast as I could. In a blink it was in front of me, I hit the left side of its head. It was on the floor slowly crumbling and dissolving back into its purple sludge, some of the stuff started to dissipate into the air as if getting rid of extra muscle tissue. I put the jar on the things eye so that all of the jelly stuff got back inside, then I immediately closed it with the lid. Looking at it, I thought about how much damage and death it had caused just because of our curiosity. I called in for any nearby foundation member for extraction. And so a few days go by, and now we're here. There, the story is finally finished. Can I please go back to my station?

Dr. Roswell: Yes, you may do so now private. Also, please keep this story to yourself, we wouldn't want a leak now, would we?
.
Pvt James: Yes sir.
Private James is visibly sobbing as he leaves the interview room, slamming the door on the way out.
Dr. Roswell: Y'know, it's said that combat operatives go straight to Heaven because they've already been through Hell. I think I now understand that.
<End Log>

Closing Statement: Dr. Roswell leaves the room looking at the ground heavily concentrated. Private James was honorably discharged a week afterward of the interview.
