Special Containment Procedures: All Foundation-Controlled major phone distributors are to program all mobile devices to immediately crash upon [DATA-EXPUNGED] being called. Any and all instances of SCP-4072-B are to be secured and contained within 24 hours of manifestation. They are to be contained at Site-101 in concrete 3x3x3 m cells with a steel door. During a containment breach, Site-101 is to immediately enter lockdown and procedure AR-700 (Sinking Ship) is to be enacted immediately and all instances are to be neutralized ASAP. If these procedures fail to contain 2 or more instances, then Site-101's on-site nuclear warhead is to be activated immediately, with MTF Epsilon-11 (Nine-Tailed-Fox) securing the area.
Description: SCP 4072 is an anomalous phone number which when called, will immediately transport whichever entity is calling the aforementioned number to an alternate universe. Most descriptions of this dimension indicate that the dimension is a large desert, with numerous black-prism-like pillars routinely manifesting around the landscape. Footage indicates that the dimension is populated by numerous humanoid entities, who will immediately proceed to kill any humanoid entity within 500m of them. After that, they will [DATAEXPUNGED] said entity. Radio-based communication has been observed to work while inside this dimension. After 24-48 hours, the subject will return to the location from which they called the number as a hostile instance of SCP-4072-B. Instances of 4072-B are typically 2.1-3.7 m tall and are colored pitch black, with one red eye. They possess numerous tendrils on their arms. They can phase through any material and are unaffected by physical trauma unless they are within the vicinity of a reality anchor. Making eye contact with an entity creates an overwhelming compulsion enter their cell, after which they will be [DATA EXPUNGED] and converted into an instance of 4072-B.

Ammendum 4072-b On 3/1/19, two more entities were contained in Singapore, resulting in the number of available chambers being reduced from 11 to 9.
Ammendum 4072-c Discovery SCP 4079 was discovered on 3/1/06 in the town of Saltaire, England. Class-A amnestics were administered and 13 instances were contained and labeled. After examining the town, foundation personnel deduced the phone number and labeled the object Euclid.
Experiment log 4072
This experiment was done mainly to deduce the nature of SCP-4072 and was done in Site-101 on 1/4/18 by Dr. Hawker
Dr. Hawker: Okay, D-3421, are you ready?
D-3421: Yes.
Security footage shows a phone being lowered into the containment chamber.
Dr. Hawker: Please open the phone and call the number [DATA EXPUNGED].
D-3421: Okay. Wait, what i-

Dr. Hawker (off mic): hey, what the [EXPLETIVE REMOVED] happened.

Radio cuts out. 25 hours later, SCP-4072-14 manifests, converting 2 people into SCP-4072-B. Object reclassified as Keter.
Ammendum 4072-e: On 1/22/19 at 0745 hours, all contact with Site-101 was lost. No further communication attempts have proven successful. All humans within a 30-kilometer radius report feeling an inability to talk about Site-101 or SCP-4072.
If this is what happened, we can only assume the worst. I am requesting permission to launch a nuclear strike at Site 101.-Dr. Hawker
