Special Containment Procedures: SCP 4121, due to its incredible size, is to be kept under 24/7 surveillance and confined within the [REDACTED] ocean in a space of [REDACTED] at a depth of [REDACTED] off the [REDACTED] coast of [REDACTED]. If containment is breached, 05 command is to be notified and the foundation is to prepare for the worst. If not contained, SCP 4121 poses as a threat to mankind, as it may cause an AK-level event leading to the climax of an XK Extinction-level event.

Description: SCP 4121 appears to be a Crown of Thorns starfish, covered in spines & hardened skin. The main giveaway this is an anomalous entity is the sheer size of SCP 4121. Measuring 65 kilometres in diameter, the spines alone are 2 kilometres tall and covered in a powerful neurochemical that affects all known living creatures except for hatchet fish. Why they are immune is unknown but is being investigated for better safety of foundation staff. When infected, the subject will proceed to mutter strange words with their eyes glazed over & proceed to serve "Their Queen" (SCP 4121). This effect is now recognized as "Royalty Syndrome" and is seemingly permanent, causing the effect to pose a much larger threat. The syndrome is a type of mind-altering chemical reaction, causing (in humans) undying loyalty, extreme aggressive behaviour and protectiveness of SCP 4121. If spread, this chemical could affect the entire human race in an estimated 3 days. When it has enough drones, it will move to a chosen area and all drones will simply look out at the ocean, directly above SCP 4121 saying things such as: "Oh, Isn't it beautiful?", "The Queen will reshape our dying planet!" & most commonly - "Worship The Queen, Praise her…" SCP 4121 will then move quickly and sharply, creating
huge tsunamis that can swallow cities. after all nearby civilisations are no more than rubble it will enter the Omega Stage and start to burrow into the seabed. After burrowing for about 3 days and 60 kilometres down, it will generate huge amounts of heat and hyper-energise the Earths core causing an XK Extinction-level event. The only known way to contain this threat is to fill the water around with oil, which will make it passive then slowly it will go dormant. The Omega-Epsilon-A project was made to monitor this threat. They keep 15 tonnes of unrefined petroleum in case of containment breach.
