SCP-4134
Item #: SCP-4134
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4134 is to be contained in a modified Standard Secure Humanoid Containment Cell. This cell has to accommodate for SCP-4134 in imitating a 'stress-free' environment, complete with a requested change to pastel flowery wallpaper. 'Mood Lighting' may be altered within the cell upon request of SCP-4134 via a simple circular knob. SCP-4134 is also allowed to roam the facility during normal break hours but is restricted from conversing with any SCP staff or unsafe/violent anomalies. Should the need to render SCP-4134 inert arise, such as in an explosive outburst of stress, the use of diprenorphine or other select animal tranquilizers will be permitted as other non-potent tranquilizers seem to 'fail'.
Description: SCP-4134 is a male humanoid entity of Polish origin, roughly five feet and 7 inches in height and weighing 107 pounds. Contrary to the cultural origin of SCP-4134, a very slight Canadian accent can be heard when SCP-4134 is speaking. SCP-4134 has also been noted to possess a low-level high-school education, although mention of such educational institutions or practices within presence of SCP-4134 are strictly forbidden.
SCP-4134 has been shown to possess an anomalous ability that inadvertently causes SCP-4134 to fail any task of minor to major significance with a high percentage of inevitability. Minor tasks that SCP-4134 unconsciously considers so minor that they aren't classified as tasks, such as eating or sleeping, are exempt from this rule. The most common appearance of this anomalous ability is found when failure would bring any form of outside humiliation towards SCP-4134. Specific circumstances such as this theorize that SCP-4134's ability comes from a secondary entity, although no proof has been able to stabilize this theory.
For the time being, as of January ██, ████, extreme outbursts of stress that are documented from SCP-4134 are to be classified as SCP-4134-2. In the occurrence of SCP-4134-2, the anomalous ability that SCP-4134 represents will react to almost every action performed by SCP-4134 with undocumented levels of violence. SCP-4134 will 'fail' to do the simplest of tasks in highly dangerous ways, such as in the discovery of SCP-4134, or the first documented case of SCP-4134-2. (See addendum 4134.3)
Addendum 4134.1: Discovery
SCP-4134 was discovered during an investigation that took place in ██████, Poland. SCP-4134 eagerly explains that after ██████ occurred in his hometown, he began to feel various side effects of serious stress. SCP-4134 began to seek a relaxing outdoor environment before witnessing the second occurrence of ██████ ███████ ████████ ████ █████. In his attempt to return home, ███████████ ███████████ ██████ ██████ ██████████████ ████████ ████ █████████████ █████████████████████ ██████████ ████ ██████████████ █████ ██████████████ █████ ██████████. ██████ ██████████ ██ ████████████. █████████ ███████████, ████████████████ ██████████████████████.
SCP-4134 explains that after attempting to contact local authorities, the landline phone short-circuited and sent an electrical current strong enough to electrify every citizen in ██████ to death. When the local authorities arrived, any attempt to detain SCP-4134 resulted in the bizarre deaths of any law enforcement officer that tried. It is to be noted that SCP-4134 had no issue with detaining itself at the request of the Foundation.
Addendum 4134.2: Initial testing
The following interview was conducted by the new Dr. Seamus Crower, assigned to the case of SCP-4134 from the head of Site-54 in ███████, █████.
Interviewer: Dr. Seamus Crower, Site-54 / Dr. Mulligan Wyndham, Site-██
Interviewee: SCP-4134
Foreword:
<Begin Log>
Dr. Seamus Crower: Welcome, SCP-4134. I am Dr. Seamus Crower from Site-54. Before we begin the interview, I would like to-
SCP-4134: (Softly interrupting) Site-54? Which one am I at?
Dr. Seamus Crower: You are currently contained at Site-██. I'm from the Integrated Containment Site-54, located elsewhere. Is there anything else you would like to get off of your chest before we begin?
SCP-4134: (Shaking head softly)
Dr. Seamus Crower: Thank you. I have prepared a series of tests to determine the specifics of your anomalous ability. Are you fine with that?
SCP-4134: (Giving a 'thumbs-up')
Dr. Seamus Crower: Alright. (Gestures towards the door, a tray of accessories and a mug of coffee are brought in and set on the table) Sorry, I, uh, need the caffeine. (Lifts the mug of lukewarm coffee and leans back in his chair to sip)
SCP-4134: (Pauses, intently watching Dr. Crower drink) May I have some?
Dr. Seamus Crower: Sure. Here you go. (Hands the mug over the table towards SCP-4134)
SCP-4134: (SCP-4134 attempts to drink the coffee but recoils among the first sip taken) Ouch! Why'd you hand me such hot coffee? (handing back the mug to Dr. Crower)
Dr. Seamus Crower: Shit! Jesus! Oh my god, that burns! Oh, god!
<End Log>
Closing Statement: Upon physical contact with the mug of coffee, the skin on Dr. Crower's left hand immediately began to boil and scold with heat, causing the doctor to reel in pain before medical personnel arrive and escort him out. SCP-4134 is then returned to his containment cell.
Addendum 4134.3: Follow-up Interview/Initial testing repeat
Interviewer: Dr. Mulligan Wyndham, Site-██
Interviewee: SCP-4134
Foreword: With Dr. Seamus Crower medically unfit for conducting an interview, a substitute researcher is brought in the following day.
<Begin Log>
Dr. Wyndham: Welcome, SCP-4134. I am Doctor Mulligan Wyndham, and I will be your substitute Interviewer for the time being. Before we begin our interview, which I hope you will comply towards, do you have any questions?
SCP-4134: Yeah, uh, what happened to Dr. Crower? Is he okay?
Dr. Wyndham: That is completely irrelevant right now. We will now begin. Tell me, can you recall the origin of your anomalous abilities? If so, I would appreciate if you went into extreme detail when referencing the matter.
SCP-4134: No.
Dr. Wyndham: Excuse me?
SCP-4134: I'm not going to talk about it. Stop asking me about it.
Dr. Wyndham: In your file it is stated that you unintentionally electrocuted the entire population of your hometown. Is that true?
SCP-4134: (Audibly agitated) It was an accident! I don't even know how!
Dr. Wyndham: You do realize that what you did is considered mass murder, right? You're telling me that while using a common landline phone, usually generating around 2 to 3 watts of power per hour of use, you 'accidentally' shocked the entire population of your hometown with enough voltage to almost completely render them indistinguishable?
SCP-4134: I want to go back to my room now. Can I go back to my room?
Dr. Wyndham: It doesn't seem like you understand your situation. You are not an individual of free will, you are an anomaly. You, SCP-4134, are a dangerous and inexplicable entity of unknown severity, and will be contained within our SCP facility indefinitely.
(SCP-4134 remained silent at this time, bearing what resembled a disgusted facial expression as it remained seated with crossed arms)
Dr. Wyndham: If you continue to halt our attempts at understanding your anomalous ability, we will be forced to terminate you. No beneficial gain is apparent for us if you continue to stay silent, SCP-4134.
(SCP-4134 remained silent at this time, gritting its teeth and showing signs of visible distress)
Dr. Wyndham: (sighs) I wished we could cooperate, but it seems that you are not ready yet. This interview is over. (looks aside) Stop recording, will you? Thanks.
Dr. Wyndham sternly stood and acquired his personal briefcase before attempting a handshake with SCP-4134. As soon as physical contact was made between the two, the nutrients and blood cells in Dr. Wyndham's right arm began to die at an explosive rate, although not to the shock of SCP-4134. The SCP then headed towards the locked blast door of the interview room and rested its hand against the metal, causing it to fluidly fall apart. While technically classified as a Containment Breach, SCP-4134 headed directly back to its room to sit in silence.
<End Log>
Closing Statement: During the breach of SCP-4134's containment, all electronics, lighting, and security measures in the path of the SCP began to malfunction to the point of self-destruction, including the containment measures of other SCPs. These occurrences are to be classified as SCP-4134-2 onward.1
