Description: SCP-4165 is an event that effects the sun, where a giant black ring will form around the rim of the sun, and close in until it has reached the centre. SCP-4165 only manifests in a small region in Western Australia when the sun is approximately ██.56 degrees in the sky. Research staff from Site-45 have questioned upon why the sun must be at that exact angle, at approximately ██:██AM, in this exact area.

Incident-4165-1: SCP-4165 was first sighted in the town of ██████████, in the ████ Region, Western Australia in 1968 where people mistook SCP-4165 as a solar eclipse. Fifteen percent of residents outside felt harsh itching and rashes forming on their exposed skin, in one case, a man starting to bleed through his own skin. The town informed authorities, which was retraced to the foundation. All residents of ██████████ were directed back inside their houses, being told that there was a "flu going around."

Notes: All full solar eclipses, or events of SCP-4165 occurring within the ████ Region in a 300 kilometre radius, would have cities and towns having to demand their populations to stay indoors.

Incident-4165-1: SCP-4165 was found spreading its area of effect wider in the next 5 years, 5 kilometres longer than when incident-4165-1 occurred. This changed the SCP from Euclid, to Keter. More people were effected.
