Special Containment Procedures: Any individual who must enter SCP-4487's cell is required to wear a blindfold so that they make no contact with SCP-4487's body. All instances of individuals not abiding by this rule were never found, not even a corpse. The location they go to is currently unknown and is currently being investigated.
SCP-4487 has been placed in a windowless containment chamber with a security camera used as it's the only form of monitoring. SCP-4487 has currently lacked any need for sustenance such as food or water. SCP-4487 is tested on but only while the security camera is watching. Once a camera is not currently viewing it, the entity will not exist is unable to be touched. If it is still visible is unknown since a blindfold is always required in all instances with the entity. Studies with DNA of SCP-4487 are dealt with by collecting samples from SCP-4487 while in the cell, carried in a case to avoid any other individuals viewing the samples with their eyes. In the lab, all the scientists must work through the oral communication of the one watching through the cameras set up in the lab room. With the information gathered by the experiments, SCP-4487 is known to be an ocular spirit that can only be seen through cameras and any type of screen. The ability to see SCP-4487 with your own eyes is unknown due to its effect.
Description: SCP-4487 is an unknown entity with the visual form of a horse. The first photo of the horse is from a security camera that was built before the arrival of SCP-4487 inside an apartment building in Mississippi at ███████ ███ . A total of █ victims were lost due to SCP-4487 before it was removed from the premises and placed within the foundation. If SCP-4487’s body is not currently being viewed by any camera or screen then it is unable to be made contact with. A test with having someone stand in the exact place of SCP-4487 while blindfolded and having the camera switched on and off gave bizarre results. The testee became stuck inside SCP-4487 and the cameras had to be switched off rather quickly to avoid any causality from suffocation. After the test, it is concluded that SCP-4487 took no physical harm even with someone in the middle of their torso. Blood has been drawn from SCP-4487 for testing so the reason for no harm being caused is still a mystery.
An important test involving a testee wearing a live camera that turns on automatically after a period of time is currently in progress and will be committed shortly once some more important matters are attended to with SCP-███.
