Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4488 is to be contained in a high-pressure vacuum chamber fitted with anti-tank armour consisting of reflective quartz and modified titanium as its walls for the 10 x 10 x 10-meter chamber. The chamber is to be filled with hydrogen cyanide and can only be filled with normal air with 2 of the O5s' permission. The chamber must consist of having a double vault door, comprised of titanium rigid gears followed by a 20 inch thick hardened steel and industrial diamond layered. Followed by that, it must have a small chamber to extract the following air and replace it with hydrogen cyanide. All of the those who are to experiment on SCP-4488 The vault can only be accessed by a special level card that can only be distributed by the administrator's permission. In the event of the breach of the chamber, the chamber must be compressed by 3 hydraulics to crush the entire chamber along with SCP-4488. If the following does not work, the elevator's lift cables and the remaining chamber that lead to SCP-4488 must be destroyed by 5 hydrogen filled bombs. Neither of these self-destruction methods is to be used unless absolutely necessary as it destroys SCP-4488 and its valuable ability to store massive files.

Description: SCP-4488 is an HHD drive that is used to connect to desktops. SCP-4488 was discovered after a delusional man had handed it to the police begging for it to never be connected to the World Wide Web. Even though the label states it's a 10 terabyte drive, it has the ability to store over 5 zettabytes of data. 100 gigabytes of data is used to store a file inside SCP-4488 that is simply known as "DIE". Inside the file contains an executable program named "EXTINCT.EXE" (SCP-4488-A) which is a self-aware form of a virus. Note that both the file and SCP-4488-A are un-deletable. When SCP-4488 is connected to the Internet by a desktop, and when SCP-4488-A is executed, it would immediately spread itself to other computers connected to the Internet followed by those infected computers spreading it to its own servers, breaking through every form of firewalls within milliseconds. Within 1 minute, all computers in the world will be infected by SCP-4488-A, and all commercial computers would then crash itself. Government and industrial computers that are infected would then circulate itself to the control files for nuclear warheads across the globe instantly. Within 1 minute, all nuclear warheads would then launch itself to multiple cities, towns in the world, undoubtedly killing billions. During the time until launch, it has been shown that the computers are uncontrollable by the user and cannot be stopped. Only metal factory filled areas would be spared from destruction, and be remotely controlled by SCP-4488 to develop sentries to kill off the remaining survivors. as shown in Experiment log 4488.

SCP-4488 must never reach hostile hands.

This experiment was performed in the first month of SCP-4488's arrival to see the damages without harming commercial networks.

Note: The experiment contained a secured proxy network for SCP-4488 to connect, multiple other computers that had no connections to the World Wide Web yet being connected to the proxy net, multiple remote-detonate firecrackers controlled by later said "government computers", multiple metallic-producing machinery, and finally, another set of computers that had its IP addresses altered to match government issued PCs.

All Computers were then instantly infected and had quick screen tearings.

All computers flickered a DDOS screen and then all the firecrackers detonated.

Machinery was then being activated by the remaining computers.

The order was given to quickly cut off all power to the computers and terminate the proxy network.
