Scp:4554-1 is a playground located in ———— Delaware. The playground tends to travel around the state but its main quality is replacing memories in a cartoon/movie fashion. The style varies depending on the afflicted’s mental state. A person who is diagnosed with ADHD or any other type of hyped up inducing illness will often remember their childhood memories as “pictures drawn by a five year old flashing rapidly while a slow drone sound plays blaring loud in their head”. Others who seem to be afflicted with a hallucination type illness will often perceive their life in vivid real detail but often times their faces and bodily movements in these dreams seem to be exaggerated heavily. One account describes the person “seeing themselves laugh uncontrollably while rocking viciously back and forth all the while their mouths seem to expand and contort with each laugh while everybody else stares silently at him”.
The scp is often seen in 3 different forms: scp-4554-1 (the childrens playground), sco 4554-2 (the teenagers playground), and finally scp-4554-3 (the adults playground).
Each one only being able to effect its target age group and appearing in different forms.
A good example of this is, the pre k playground. Often described as a slide made out of plastic attached to a block with a hole leading to a small seating area for the kid. This form is somewhat different as it will instead make memories for the child. Often times being gruesome and traumatic memories. Like them dying or being wheeled through a hospital while their mom cries over them.
The teenagers playground is a park playground that randomly jumps around neighborhoods. Teenagers who stay at these parks will have their memories replaced with something more akin to a movie. Watching key moments of their lives play out like an old 90’s movie. However, the memories changed are often social memories, involving more than one person. Some times these memories will generalize most groups and people into different forms. Potheads are often shown in their memories to be seen as “gorillas who have half eyes, smell horrible, and can barely speak actual coherent sentences. While jocks are portrayed as handsome quarterbacks with large jaws.”
An adults playground is… a tricky one. The scp can change into anything from a simple tennis court to a brothel. Sometimes even appearing as an underground black market selling both living humans and many illicit goods. The memories of these adults will change but then simply be forgotten. These key events in an adults life will seemingly disappear from their mind like it never even occured.
Each person perceives their new memories different but these are simply based to be the most common changes to a persons psyche.
Containment is to block off each playground/place that has been replaced with this scp under the guise of construction. Once scp 4554 switches the area is now allowed back to the public.
Anybody who decides to break into scp 4554’s playground while under “construction” must be transported to a mental health facility in the area for 2 weeks or more.
