Item #: SCP-4576
Object Class: Keter Neutralized
Threat Level: Red
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4576 is to be contained in a 15 meter x 15 meter x 10 meter High Security Heavily Reinforced Secure Humanoid Containment Chamber and kept under constant surveillance at all times. Within this chamber, SCP-4576 is to be hooked up to an IV drip which constantly supplies a tranquilizing agent in order to keep SCP-4576 in a docile and sleep-like state. SCP-4576 is known to become accustomed to these tranquilizer agents over time, and as such they should be replaced immediately with another variant every 4 weeks. SCP-4576 is to remain gagged and secured 2 meters off the ground to a large solid steel pillar in the center of the chamber at all times.
The method of securing SCP-4576 is as follows: One (1) reinforced spiked titanium brace securing each wrist, one (1) reinforced spiked titanium brace securing each bicep, one (1) reinforced spiked titanium brace securing the forehead, one (1) reinforced spiked titanium brace securing the neck, one (1) reinforced spiked titanium brace securing the chest, one (1) reinforced spiked titanium brace securing the waist, one (1) reinforced spiked titanium brace securing each thigh, and one (1) reinforced spiked titanium brace securing each ankle. The spikes on the braces should be a minimum of 1 inch long in order to effectively discourage movement except for the spikes on the neck and forehead braces, which should be a quarter of an inch long. Each brace should be secured to the steel pillar with a minimum of four 6 inch wide-thread titanium screws. The ground beneath the steel pillar should be fitted with a drainage system to dispose of any blood that would have accumulated as a result of this containment method.
While not deemed to be entirely necessary, on top of being secured with the braces, SCP-4576 should be impaled onto the steel pillar with several threaded titanium rods with a large cross on each end to prevent any back-and-forth movement. These rods are to be pierced through SCP-4576's hands, elbows, and knees, as well as through each side of the chest and one through the abdomen. The diameter of each rod varies, with the rods piercing the hands, elbows, and knees having a diameter of 1 inch, while the rods piercing the chest and abdomen have a diameter of 2 inches.
Regarding the chamber itself, it should be equipped with a standard fire sprinkler system that set to go off once every morning at 0800 hours, in order to both hydrate the plants and clean the steel pillar. The floor off the chamber should consist of a 2 meter deep layer of nutrient and mineral rich soil with grass covering the surface. The inner walls are to be constructed of stone and covered with vines and moss. This area is to be kept heavily decorated with various flora. There has been a debate as to what plant life works best, but it is thought that characteristically beautiful flowers with bright colors are the most effective. Besides this, a mix of ferns and small trees are to be scattered throughout the room. Although it has not been proven to have an effect, the belief behind having the chamber set up like this is that it may weaken the abilities of SCP-4576.
Lastly, a total of seventeen (17) instances of SCP-4574-1 provided by SCP-4574 are to be strategically placed throughout the room. One (1) of them is to be situated on each side of SCP-4576's head, one (1) is to be situated in front of its chest, six (6) are to be situated around the base of the steel pillar, and eight (8) are to be situated at equal distances apart in a 3 meter radius around SCP-4576. These dampen SCP-4576's abilities to a manageable extent and almost entirely neutralize its proximity effects, leaving only the effects of the 'Vex Zone' and further. Currently, SCP-4576 is contained in the High Risk Containment Division on the 46th floor in Section D of Site-88. The cell is to be kept at a distance of 80 meters from all other occupied spaces due to SCP-4576's proximity effect.
Description: SCP-4576, known to SCP-4574 and SCP-4575 as 'Hate', is virtually indistinguishable from a young human male in his mid-thirties in both appearance and on the genetic level (Although there are some irregularities that have yet to be identified), and appears to be of Caucasian descent, however it is thought to be an albino among its species, possessing white hair and red eyes. SCP-4576 is part of a group of entities referred to by themselves as 'Emotians', known to have initially been made up of 6 similar beings, including itself. Despite apparently coming into existence at the same time and sharing many similarities, none of these entities contained within the Foundation are genetically related.
When not being tranquilized, SCP-4576 is almost constantly seen thrashing around against its restraints in an attempt to free itself. For this reason, it is kept tranquilized constantly. No research has been done into the attitude or behavior of SCP-4576 due to its inherently hostile demeanor, but from information provided by SCP-4574 it seems that SCP-4576 greatly enjoys causing extensive suffering.
SCP-4574 has strong cognitohazardous effects and gives off an incredibly overpowering and off putting aura of anger, hatred, and malice to anyone who enters a 75 meter radius. This radius is known as the 'Irritation Zone'. This feeling grows alarmingly more concentrated the closer one gets to SCP-4576, with subjects who enter the 60 meter radius feeling uncharacteristically angry and annoyed, becoming repulsed by the sight of SCP-4576. This radius is known as the 'Vex Zone'. Upon entering the 45 meter radius of SCP-4576, subjects have been noted as showing signs of hostility to anyone around them, although most of this hostility is directed at SCP-4576 itself. This radius is known as the 'Malice Zone'. These feelings become more and more prominent until subjects reach a distance of 25 meters from SCP-4576, at which point they become violent and spiteful towards everything and everything around it, although they don't seem to direct much of this towards SCP-4576. This radius is known as the 'Spite Zone'. These feelings will continue to become stronger up to the point where subjects reach a distance of 10 meters.
Subjects within this range seem to lose all higher brain function and sense of individuality and take on the attitude of a rapid animal, with any communications made with the subjects being met with extreme vulgarity. Subjects in this state actively seek out ways to release anger and frustration, such as attacking anything in the room with the intent to kill and clawing at its own skin when no such entities are present. Most curiously, though, is the fact that they are no longer hostile towards SCP-4576, and will even follow basic orders from it. This radius is known as the 'Fury Zone'. Finally, when subjects go within a 5 meter radius of SCP-4576, they tense up and collapse almost immediately, then proceed to twitch violently before expiring. Autopsies on these subjects have revealed immense strain on the heart and severe brain trauma, as well as the general failure of most internal organs. This radius is known as the 'Kill Zone'. If it wants to, SCP-4576 seems to be able to halt all of these proximity effects in their entirety at will.
SCP-4576 is also capable of immense feats of strength and speed , having previously been reported to have torn a house apart upon entering a rage-state. SCP-4576 is also heavily resilient towards most blunt force physical attacks, and can recover from seemingly any injury sustained without issue, no matter how extensive it may be. As of now, it is to be treated as effectively immortal. It is not thought that physical contact with SCP-4576 has any notable effect due to the fact that being close enough to it is fatal in and of itself. When questioned about these abilities, SCP-4576 did not respond adequately, stating that it had them because "God willed it.".
It is believed that SCP-4576 is capable of a similar type of 'reincarnation' to that of SCP-4574 if neutralized, although this has never been observed nor confirmed by SCP-4576 itself. Going off of this, after being neutralized and subsequently reincarnated, SCP-4576 would presumably take on the appearance of a 6 year old version of itself and would grow at about twice the speed of an average human until it reaches the equivalent of its late teens. Upon reaching this age, its growth slows dramatically to a quarter of the rate of an average human being until it reaches the physical appearance of a man in his mid thirties, at which point it will cease to age. Currently, SCP-4576 seems to have reached the end of its aging process and ceased aging. This is all speculation based on information provided by SCP-4574, though, as SCP-4576 has not been helpful in confirming or denying this.
Addendum 4576.1: Discovery and Capture
After being informed of SCP-4576's existence by SCP-4574 and preparations for the retrieval mission were completed, SCP-4574 was retrieved from containment at its request due to it apparently having the ability to interfere with those of SCP-4576. SCP-4574 was then equipped with a tracking device and a shoulder mounted camera, then escorted to one of two helicopters. The second would be keeping a minimum safe distance of 50 meters from the one containing SCP-4574 in order to prevent the entities abilities from affecting the second team in the case of a double-cross. The retrieval mission was carried out by Mobile Task Force Epsilon-6 and began at 0800 hours on August ██, 199█, and touched down at the location where SCP-4574 and SCP-4575 were captured at 1200 hours. The flight was without incident from SCP-4574.
The whereabouts of SCP-4576 was provided by SCP-4574 en route to the location, however there were doubts about the legitimacy of this information due to Epsilon-6's previous search of the grounds. Nevertheless, once the location was reached, SCP-4574 was told to lead the team to where SCP-4576 was imprisoned. After walking into the cornfield near the house approximately 300 meters away, SCP-4574 stopped and began tapping on a patch of dirt between stalks until a thud was heard. SCP-4574 then displaced the dirt to reveal a small wooden door that, when opened, revealed a crude tunnel downwards that was accessible via a ladder. Epsilon-6 opted to use their waist cables to descend down the hole rather than the ladder and decided that the team should split in two, with several members remaining on the surface.
An argument broke out between SCP-4574 and Team Leader Jakobe regarding who should be the first down the hole, with the subject claiming that it should go first to make sure it was safe for everyone to proceed. The decision was eventually made to send SCP-4574 down first and monitor it via the shoulder mounted camera as it descends, with a squad following shortly after once the area was deemed safe.
SCP-4574 was outfitted with a waist cable and lowered down the tunnel for 85 meters until it touched down at the bottom, then proceeded down a hallway for another 15 meters after detaching the cable. SCP-4574 then entered a brightly lit room that distorted the video footage. SCP-4574 was then contacted over comms to confirm if it was safe, but no response was heard. Tracking showed that SCP-4574 had not moved from its current location and was standing still.
The order was given by Team Leader Jakobe to proceed down the hole following this silence, and as they descended the following communications were heard from SCP-4574's comm system between it and SCP-4576, though very distorted by static.
[UNKNOWN]: (Chuckles) -now look at you, all geared up. Joined the military, have we? Have you brought them here to kill me? How did you manage to convince them of that? Well, I guess with your power you could just seduce them into following… (Voice trails off)
(Dead air)
[UNKNOWN]: Wait… That symbol… I've seen that symbol before… No… No, no, no, no, NO! You're with them?! You've allied with the foundation?! After they took her?! After they took [REDACTED]?!
SCP-4574: W-what..? What are you talking about..?
[UNKNOWN]: I'LL KILL YOU! I'LL KILL YOU FOR THIS! I'LL TEAR YOU LIMB FROM LIMB! YOU THINK WHAT I DID TO COURAGE WAS BAD?! I'LL PUT YOUR CORPSE ON DISPLAY AND MAKE HIM [DATA EXPUNGED] IT UNTIL HE [DATA EXPUNGED] THEN RIP HIS HEAD FROM HIS NECK AND [DATA EXPUNGED] THE WOUND! DO YOU HEAR ME?! I WILL EVISCER-
(Audio cuts out)
Manic sobbing was heard from SCP-4574 as Mobile Task Force Epsilon-6 rushed into the chamber, finding SCP-4574 on its knees with its face buried in its hands while the hostile entity across the room screamed unintelligibly. Team Leader Jakobe immediately gave the order to open fire on SCP-4576 until it stopped moving, then tranquilize it and prep it for transport.
As soon as SCP-4576 lost consciousness, members of Epsilon-6 reported feeling similar to how they did when they entered the farm house during the initial retrieval of SCP-4574, likely due to the effects of the instances of SCP-4574-1. Once the hostile entity was tranquilized and pulled down off of the tree it was secured to, SCP-4574 composed itself and stood up. It then walked around the chamber and touched each of the instances of SCP-4574-1, which in turn caused them to circle around itself.
Once SCP-4576 was secured, it was extracted from the chamber and loaded onto one of the helicopters alongside SCP-4574, who refused to look at SCP-4576 and remained silent for the most part while keeping its hand pressed against SCP-4576's forehead. SCP-4574 told Team Leader Jakobe that it might be a good idea to keep tranquilizing SCP-4576 until it was secured in a chamber.
The retrieval mission concluded with Epsilon-6 and SCP-4574's successful return to Site-88 at 1800 hours with SCP-4576 in tow.
The following interviews were carried out by Dr. Malcolm Jensen, the first on the night that SCP-4576 was brought into Foundation custody, and the next a few weeks after SCP-4576 was brought to Site-88.
Interviewed: Agent Alexander Jakobe
Interviewer: Dr. Malcolm Jensen
Carried out: August ██, 199█, 2000 hours
<BEGIN LOG>
Dr. Jensen: Good evening, Agent Jakobe. Let me just start by congratulating you on a successful mission, glad to hear that you and your men made it back safely. You're probably tired, so I won't keep you here for long, just have a few questions.
Agent Jakobe: Thank you, Doctor, but I can't take all the credit. That woman did most of the hard work by having the bastard pinned up for us when we got there. All me and my boys had to do was shoot the fucker until he stopped moving then rip him off that tree, if you'll pardon my french. Based on what she did to him, she is a force to be reckoned with.
Dr. Jensen: Seems that way, doesn't it? We may have underestimated her. Now, we've been told to recreate this area within a containment chamber in order to keep this thing locked up. Could you describe the layout of the cavern?
Agent Jakobe: Well, the cavern was more like a garden, really. I didn't think plants could grow that well underground, but I guess the girls magic little suns are responsible for that. There were tons of plants and flowers, even a few small trees and some small animals like squirrels and bunnies hanging around. If that bastard wasn't down there, I'd think of it as a really calming place to sit down and relax.
Dr. Jensen: A garden, huh? Yeah, that matches up with what Four-Five-Seven-Four said beforehand when talking with Ed. Now, in what manner was SCP-Four-Five-Seven-Six 'pinned up'?
Agent Jakobe: Jesus, where to begin. I don't know how a little thing like that managed to do it, but she practically had him crucified on a tree in the center of the cavern. All these rusty metal rods were stabbed through just about every part of the bastards body. Hands, arms, chest, stomach, legs, you name it. They went right through him and the tree, then she bent them on both sides so he couldn't slide off. It was a bit disgusting, if I'm being honest with you.
Dr. Jensen: Holy shit, that bad? Well, I guess it must have been necessary, she told us he was a very strong entity.
Agent Jakobe: Seems like it. You guys gunna try and recreate that here? Don't think I'd be able to stomach seeing The Foundation's twist on it.
(Both chuckle at the remark)
Dr. Jensen: Ah, you're still young. Wait until you get to be my age, you'll have seen so much shit you won't even notice it anymore.
Agent Jakobe: Ha, glad to know that's what I've got waiting for me, Doc.
Dr. Jensen: Ah yes, the joys of growing old. Anyways, I think that's all I need from you, Alex. Stay sharp out there on the field.
Agent Jakobe: Always, Agent Jensen.
<END LOG>
Closing Statement: From the way that Agent Jakobe described it, it would seem that a proven method of long-term containment would be to have SCP-4576's cell outfitted to resemble a large garden and have the entity permanently secured to a surface while being perpetually maimed, then have SCP-4574 place those spheres of energy all around the area to weaken SCP-4576 even further and halt its supposed proximity effects. I will be submitting a rough diagram of how I believe this method of containment could be improved upon in order to make sure that SCP-4576 is not a threat by the end of the week.
Addendum 4576.2: Test Logs
The following is a list of tests carried out by Dr. Ellie Jensen and Dr. Malcolm Jensen to determine the properties and capabilities of SCP-4576's abilities.
Personnel Overseeing Test: Dr. Ellie Jensen, Dr. Malcolm Jensen
Main Subject: SCP-4576
Test Subject(s): D-4576-9236
Date of Test: November ██, 199█, 0800 hours
Objective: To determine the approximate range and stages of SCP-4576's abilities.
Test Proceedings: After having SCP-4574 remove the instances of SCP-4574-1 from SCP-4576's containment chamber, D-4576-9236 was introduced into SCP-4576's containment chamber and told to approach the entity. When D-4576-9236 entered a radius of 75 meters, he reported feeling as if approaching SCP-4576 any more "Isn't a good idea.", becoming visibly disgusted at SCP-4576 and irritated at the test and Foundation personnel in general. Initially, D-4576-9236 would not listen when prompted to move forward, and required some coaxing before he would continue with the test.
When D-4576-9236 did eventually moved forwar, he did so very slowly, and grew more and more irritated until he reached a distance of 60 meters from SCP-4576. At this point, D-4576-9236 became angry and was reported as being unable to stand the sight of SCP-4576, stating that he felt "Like I'm having the worst day of my life.", referring to SCP-4576 as a "Vile bastard.". D-4576-9236 yet again required more coaxing in order to proceed with the test, soon reaching a distance of 45 meters, becoming angrier with every step forward.
Upon entering the range of 45 meters from SCP-4576, D-4576-9236's anger turned into hostility towards Foundation personnel and SCP-4576, claiming that he would "Beat the living shit out of every lab coat wearing [DATA EXPUNGED]." when the test was over. D-4576-9236's body was reported as being very tense at this time, and he kept his fists clenched while glaring at SCP-4576 with a look of extreme resentment as he moved forward. This behavior continued becoming progressively more prominent until D-4576-9236 reached a distance of 25 meters from SCP-4576.
At this point, D-4576-9236 started becoming violent and began kicking down and stomping on all plant life in his path, spouting various vulgarities as he did so. When told to continue in a calm manner, D-4576-9236 punched a tree and broke his own hand seemingly without noticing, telling researchers that "You'll all die as soon as I get my hands on you.". Surprisingly enough, D-4576-9236 didn't seem to pay much mind to SCP-4576 at this point, instead directing most of its anger towards the Foundation in general and all life around it.
Coaxing at this point proved to be ineffective, however D-4576-9236 did end up wandering closer and closer to SCP-4576 until he eventually reached a distance of 10 meters from the entity. Immediately after entering this range, D-4576-9236 began yelling incoherently and became extremely hostile, actively seeking out ways to cause destruction by ripping up all large plants around him and cursing at researchers constantly. D-4576-9236 was also seen causing severe injury to itself after a while, clawing at his neck and face and causing deep gashes in his flesh.
After a few minutes of this behavior, researchers were considering calling off the test, however before they could do so SCP-4576 spoke up and ordered D-4576-9236 to find a way out of the chamber. Without hesitation, D-4576-9236 sprinted at the door and began banging on it violently, rambling crudely as he attempted to pry it open. When this proved impossible, D-4576-9236 ran up to one of the trees in the chamber, climbed it, and stuck his arm where two thick branches met, at which point he twisted his body suddenly and snapped his radius and ulna bones.
This action didn't seem to faze D-4576-9236, and once he had gotten out of the tree, he grabbed his now limp hand and pulled it towards himself, causing his broken bones to break through his skin. After doing this, he ran towards the door again and tried to use the splintered bones as a makeshift pry bar in order to get the door open. The test was called off immediately when this was witnessed, however before SCP-4576 could be sedated and D-4576-9236 could be retrieved, SCP-4576 ordered the D-Class to approach it. He did as he was told and quickly made his way over to SCP-4576, but when he reached a distance of 5 meters his body tensed up and he collapsed, seizing up momentarily on the ground before ceasing activity and expiring. This concluded the test.
Findings: This test provided horrifying results. SCP-4576's abilities appear to be far stronger and more hostile in nature than those of SCP-4574 and SCP-4575, and on top of it's proximity effect, it appears to be able to command those who enter a close range to do whatever it wants, and those affected will do everything in their power to make whatever the request is happen.
Regarding its proximity effects, there appear to be a total of 6 stages. The 'Irritation Zone' at 75 meters, the 'Vex Zone' at 60 meters, the 'Malice Zone' at 45 meters, the 'Spite Zone' at 25 meters, the 'Fury Zone' at 10 meters, and the 'Kill Zone' at 5 meters. An autopsy on D-4576-9236 revealed signs of immense strain on the heart and severe brain trauma, as well as the general failure of most internal organs.
As of now, the 05 council has agreed unanimously that any and all testing regarding SCP-4576 is completely forbidden, and it is to be kept tranquilized and gagged at all times from here on out.
Addendum 4576.3: Incident Reports
The following is a list of breach attempts made by SCP-4576

Incident: Attempted Containment Breach
Date of Incident: November ██, 199█, 0830 hours
Incident Report: Thought to be due to no SCP-4574-1 instances being present and dampening SCP-4576's abilities, SCP-4576 managed to break free of the steel braces securing it in place moments after a test surrounding its proximity effect was concluded. Thankfully, it was intercepted by Mobile Task Force Epsilon-11 before it managed to leave the containment chamber, as a squad was already on their way to tranquilize it. It was successfully tranquilized and no casualties were reported, however 7 agents were effected by the 'Spite Zone' proximity effects of SCP-4576. These agents were all skillfully tranquilized by Team Leader Mallory and Agent Hamilton almost immediately once they realized what had happened.
Outcome: A total of 7 MTF agents were temporarily put out of service, although no lasting effects were reported after all 7 members were introduced to SCP-4574 in order to 'cure' them, which proved to be a success. SCP-4576 was successfully re-contained and nobody was severely harmed in the breach attempt.
Action Taken: The number of braces keeping SCP-4576 secured was increased and switched from steel to reinforced titanium. The addition of spikes on the inside of the braces was made to dissuade any movement. As per SCP-4574's recommendation, SCP-4576 will also been kept permanently maimed from here on out with a series of titanium rods impaling the entity in multiple vital and crippling locations. As an added precaution, SCP-4576 will be kept tranquilized at all times.
Addendum 4576.4: [REDACTED]
Addendum 4576.5: Site-88 Containment Breach Incident [August ██, 199█]
On August ██, 199█, at 0300 hours, just under 3 weeks into a new tranquilizer agent cycle, SCP-4576 became fully conscious and managed to break it's restraints. This was achieved by the self-amputation of all of its limbs and subsequent regrowth of these lost limbs, which it then used to tear off the remaining braces on its body and head, after which it broke the ends off of the rods used to impale its body and pulled itself off of the steel pillar that it was secured to. Using one of the titanium rods, SCP-4576 was able to do enough damage to the door to its containment chamber that it was eventually able to pry it open, escaping into the facility. All of this was achieved in under 2 minutes, and had clearly been planned extensively.
Over the course of the next 4 hours and 17 minutes, SCP-4576 did not seem to have any plans to escape the facility, and instead worked its way through the lower floors causing as much catastrophic damage as it could, even opting to go without its proximity effect at times in order to neutralize personnel slowly, seemingly getting great satisfaction from this. All floors from the 46th floor up until the 34th floor were left in ruin, and SCP-4576 neutralized a total of 183 of the assigned Mobile Task Force Epsilon-11 security detail, 67 researchers, 13 maintenance personnel, and 4 administrative personnel, 1 department head, and critically injured a further 78 personnel overall before it was intercepted and neutralized by SCP-4574, who had been released from containment by Dr. Edmund Jesko and Agent Rickard. Both Agent Rickard and SCP-4574 were also neutralized as a result of this.
SCP-4576 was able to cause this much damage because of the fact that all tranquilizer guns on-site were equipped with the current tranquilizer agent used in the containment of SCP-4576 or a recent previously used variant, and the new agent had yet to be received due to there still being more than a week until the regular cycle change. In regards to the tranquilizer situation itself, there has been much debate as to how SCP-4576 was able to regain full consciousness not even half way through what was assumed to be the allotted time its body needed to adjust to a new tranquilizing agent, and after careful review of previous breach attempts and various other factors, the current belief is that over the course of the past █ years, the containment breach attempts made SCP-4576, except for perhaps the first, were all a ploy.
It is believed that SCP-4576 intentionally made it seem as if it took nearly 6 weeks to adjust to new tranquilizing agents, when in reality it did so in less than half the time. Looking back at previous inspections of its restraints after each containment breach attempt, there was never any damage to them, despite SCP-4576 struggling for hours sometimes, which further backs up the idea that it was all a ruse, as some minor damage should have been at least been found. This breach was clearly carefully plotted to take place after a long enough period so that the Foundation believed to have a firm hold on SCP-4576, and had the sole purpose of causing as much chaos as possible. This was the clear result of outstanding negligence, and should be used as a clear example of why every single detail matters.
Both Dr. Jesko and Agent Rickard were awarded The Foundation Star in the aftermath of this event, with Agent Rickard's wife being given the award in his stead.
Addendum 4576.6: End Log
Despite fears that SCP-4576 may 'reincarnate' from what was left of its body, no such event occurred, presumably because there was very little in the way of physical remains, and as such SCP-4576 has been re-classified to Neutralized as of September ██, 199█. Samples of what was left of SCP-4576 were moved to cryostorage for further study into the physiology of SCP-4576. Unfortunately, this has revealed no worthwhile information of interest, but the remains will still be kept in cryostorage for the time being. Furthermore, study on SCP-4576 has been deemed complete, and as such this file will be archived for academic purposes.
