Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4629 due to it’s impossible size, cannot, and never will be contained, SCP-4629 is currently dormant at Site-46 near the ████████ Mountain range in Russia, Site-46 is to be highly guarded, nobody with higher than level 2 access is allowed within, in the event of SCP-4629’s awakening, Site-46 is to be abandoned, and all locals within the area are to be evacuated under the guise of an earthquake, any and all footage of SCP-4629, digital or otherwise are to be destroyed and Class-B Amnesiacs are to be distributed to all civilians who have either seen SCP-4629, or have come into possession of documents, or photos of SCP-4629.
Description: SCP-4629 is a large hexapedal organism said to be the largest terrestrial organism to ever exist, dwarfing Argentinosaurus huinculensis in absolute size, the legs of SCP-4629 have a texture reminiscent of tree bark, with cracks and scars possibly due to its age, SCP-4629 has eight large tentacles above its bulbous head, the purpose of these tentacles is unknown, however it is theorized that they act similarly to those of an octopus, being used to grasp onto objects and to pull them into its maw for consumption, or possibly act as sensory organs similar to that of a sea star, this is plausible as the eyes are much smaller compared to the rest of its head, however there is not enough data to determine which it could be or they serve a different purporse or if they act as both types. Footprints leading towards SCP-4629’s resting place leading from █████████ have been found, the diameter of each footprint is approximated to be 10.36 Meters, the body of SCP-4629 is fleshy with scars covering it, some of the scars are reminiscent of bite marks, whether these are from confrontations with similarly sized organisms is unknown, in addition to the following statement nothing about SCP-4629’s life cycle, lifespan, diet, and reproductive methods are known as of now, it has been predicted that it reproduces asexually, with only one member of the species being born after the latter has reached the end of its life, some believe that SCP-4629 is omnivorous or doesn't require to consume food for sustinance, however these are just predictions and SCP-4629's behavior while active requires more research.
SCP-4629 was discovered traveling from █████████ to the ████████ mountain range, on 1/██/19██, SCP-4629 entered the range and began to crouch down before lowering its head and entering a form of suspended animation, it is believed that SCP-4629 has long active periods to compensate for its massive size, and long lifespan. Site-46 was then constructed in order to study SCP-4629 and to monitor it.
Arthropodic organisms (Designated as SCP-4629-1) have been found to have created dens in holes located on SCP-4629’s back, each hole seem to hold different numbers of SCP-4629, with some of the holes being completely empty and others containing as many as 20 SCP-4629 specimens within them, with a total of ██████ holes along its back, the total number of SCP-4629-1 specimens currently living on SCP-4629 is unknown at this point in time. Since they seem to both protect, and clean SCP-4629, it is believed that these organisms are in a mutualism with SCP-4629, relying on it for food and and shelter, and cleaning and defending SCP-4629 in return, because of DNA analysis, SCP-4629-A specimens are thought to be descendants to the species Chimerarachne Yingi, arachnids thought to have gone extinct 100 million years ago. SCP-4629-A organisms have 10 limbs in total, consisting of eight spider-like, double jointed limbs and 2 limbs on the front of of its body near the head, these limbs seemed to have evolved to fulfill SCP-4629's duty as the cleaning agents for SCP-4629, their jaws are large and full of sharp fangs similar to a canine's, they have a total of 8 black eyes ranging from less than 10 centimeters to a foot in size, as another adaptation their chitinous body is a muted red and tan, similar to SCP-4629's flesh, this allows them to appear almost invisible from a birds eye view. Unless SCP-4629 is directly wounded or the dens are disturbed, SCP-4629-A will not attack and continue to clean SCP-4629.

MTF-01: Oh, my God. What's this?

MTF-01: (Points to man covered in SCP-4629-1 Specimens) What is on those people?
Dr.████: I don't know what it is.
MTF-02: It's crawling on their bodies.
(man screaming)
MTF-01: (Shoots at one of the SCP-4629-1 Specimens) Quick we need to get out of here now!
MTF-02: Shit his tongue is gone!
(man moaning)
Man:(grabs MTF-02's gun and puts it to his own head) Shoot me, Shoot me.
MTF-02: Did one of these things cut it off?
MTF-01: Quick call for backup!
MTF-02: Its on my leg!
(Dr.████ is overcome by SCP-4629-1 specimens and screams in pain as they maul his body before falling limp.)
MTF-02: Oh, my God!
MTF-01: Get it off, it's biting me, get it off!

Both MTF officers died shortly after from bacterial infection from SCP-4629's bite, analysis of their bodies revealed SCP-4629-A spiderlings consuming them, the specimens are terminated and their bodies are incinerated, aproximatley 2 hours later the entirety of MTF-Sigma-4 enters Site-46 to find all instances of SCP-4629-A have retreated to SCP-4629, a total of 40 casualties were counted on sight including Dr.████.
Experiment Log-4629-A:
0:00: D-99 enters SCP-4629's containment unarmed
0:02: D-99 is told to stay exactly 2 meters from SCP-4629's body and is to not show hostility, D-99 agrees and waits for further instructions
0:10: D-99 is told to move 1 meter closer to SCP-4629's body, D-99 agrees and no hostility is detected.
0:18: D-99 is told to place their hand on the hide of SCP-4629, D-99 mutters to himself about how this experiment is useless and places his hand on the hide of SCP-4629.
0:19: SCP-4629-1 come from their nests and begin to emit a hissing noise, D-99 is told to keep his hand on SCP-4629, D-99 is reluctant but complies
0:25: SCP-4629-1 begin to disregard D-99 and begin cleaning SCP-4629 with only 4-5 specimens keeping watch.
0:30: D-99 is told that the experiment is over and is recalled.
Experiment Log-4629-B
0:00: D-1104 enters SCP-4629's containment armed with a pocket knife.
0:05: D-1104 is told to extract a sample of SCP-4629's hide, he is told to cut a 1x1x1 chunk of SCP-4629's flesh, D-1104 agress and begins extraction
0:06: SCP-4629 begins to bleed and SCP-4629-A begin to swarm D-1104, D-1104 begins to scream as SCP-4629-A specimens crawl into his mouth and begin eating his flesh.
0:20: SCP-4629-A spiderlings begin to erupt from D-1104's skin and feed on his flesh, adult SCP-4629-A Specimens begin to cauterize SCP-4629's incision.
0:25: SCP-4629-A adults finish cauterization and SCP-4629-A spiderlings begin crawling towards SCP-4629's back
0:45: SCP-4629-A spiderlings begin entering holes on SCP-4629's back while adult SCP-4629-A specimens keep patrol of the area, all seem to disregard the scientists and MTF officers behind the glass.
2:06: SCP-4629-A specimens begin to move back towards the holes after 2 hours since their emergence.
2:10: SCP-4629-A specimens enter their holes and D-1104's body recovered for incineration
Note from Dr.█████: SCP-4629-1 appears to react violently only when SCP-4629 is damaged in any form, this experiment along with what we have seen from the events that transpired, can lead us to concluded that they act in a defensive manner and do not attack unless threatened, because of this, SCP-4629 will be classified as Euclid.
