[[WELCOME TO THE SCP FOUNDATION]]
File #: Zanzibar-(14)//D-665632-7
Information: Unknown presumed anomalous occurrences have spiked in the town of ████████, North Carolina. And to add insult to injury there’s an apparent serial killer on the loose. The police called to have an investigative group from the FBI be dispatched to deal with the killer. However, the SCP Foundation will instead be dispatching MTF Sigma-17 “Destiny’s Son” to have the team cover as investigators and deal with and record possible SCP instances in the area and report back to Site-96 for further assignments.
- O3-16 Doctor Mauler

MTF Sigma-17 en route to the ████████ police station.
McKeller- *From the driver’s seat yelling to the back of the Foundation van.* We’re almost there boys. We have to meet with the chief of police there and remember, WE are the FBI investigators they sent for.
Cantela- So far, there’s been 13 murder’s in the area that we need to investigate. Each one is a Caucasian male or female in their 20-30’s. Multiple defensive lacerations are found all over the first few victims bodies, but lessen over the remaining ones, meaning they saw the unsub coming but the unsub evolved to get around this after victim number 4. *Cantela begins handing out files and tries handing one to Krasinskov in the passenger seat, but he denies it.*
Krasinskov- I have already memorized information. *He says in a heavy russian accent*
Cantela- Well, the newest victim actually was found while we were en route there. Additionally however, each victim was found in extremely poor condition missing body parts and organs, one even having a hole in his chest where his heart would be. The unsub gages them which stops them screaming or calling out for help. And this appears to be a form of torture because the missing body parts and organs are removed premortem. Also as he was capable of subduing these victims which were all in very good health, giving us cause to believe he must be very physically fit. Along with this he must have a lot of free time on his hands because it says that the cuts, body parts, and organs taken all have very clean and smooth cuts around them and removing said body parts and/or organs takes a fair amount of time. Meaning he may be a doctor or has had extensive medical training in the past, and must be agile or strong, and he’s either unemployed or working part-time.
McKeller- You got all that from some records?
Cantela- Yes, if you can look closely at things, time of death, and details you can fill in the blanks.
McKeller- Well the anomalies also have appeared around where these murders took place but just a couple days later. Also, I contacted the city and they said two weeks before the murders started occurring that their morgue was ransacked of all bodies.
Grey- Interesting, what do you think he would be doing or wanting with them?
Cantela- Well from the profile he seems to identify as a Sadist killer, they use the brutality of the kill to get them off sexually. However, the stealing of bodies at the morgue is abnormal. He may have stolen bodies from other places like graves, but due to the fact that he seems to want the body parts fresh he may be taking fresh graves as the bodies would only be in early stages of decomposure.
Grey- How do you know it’s a he?
Cantela- Almost all sadistic killers are. The amount of brutality and overkill involved in these cases isn’t that common in female sadists; along with this they would have to be extremely strong to take down such high risk targets with no problems, which basically no female sadists are.
McKeller- Well you can tell the officers that cause we’re here.
MTF Sigma-17 exits the van with prepackaged gear and enters the ████████ police station.
Chief Hanson- Hello, you must be the investigative team I called for!
McKeller- Yes that is correct, I am agent McKeller. This is Agents Grey, Freedom, Cantela, *Chief Hanson shakes hands with each agent.* and that is Agent Krasinskov. *McKeller points at the 2 meter tall man steps through the door carrying three duffle bags.*
Chief Hanson- Hi I’m Chief Hanson, it’s a pleasure to meet you all. We set up a work room for you.
MTF Sigma-17 is escorted by Chief Hanson to a conference room with a circular wooden table with chairs and a white board.
Chief Hanson- This is the room you’ll be working from, my office is the one you passed while walking here, you can find me in there most of the time and contact me for whatever you need.
McKeller- Thank you, sir.
*Chief Hanson leaves the room and shuts the door behind him.*
McKeller- Cantela how certain are you about what you said in the car?
Cantela- Fairly certain, I used to work in a criminal psychological unit. So I know how to read people.
McKeller- Good. Grey, Cantela, you go to the morgue to review footage and what bodies were stolen. Freedom and Krasinskov, you two go check out the most recent murder scene. Grey and Cantela if you get done early you meet up with Freedom and Krasinskov at the murder scene. I’m staying here to set up anomaly sighting and murder scene mapping to see if they overlap geographically.

Grey- Alright we’re here. The head Doctor’s name is… *Grey rummages through the file in his lap.*
Cantela- Doctor Wilson.
Grey- How’d you know that?
Cantela- I remembered it, and it’s also on the sign for the morgue we just drove by.
Grey- Oh, well yeah, that’ll do it.
Grey and Cantela exit the van and head inside to the morgue to interview Doctor Wilson.
Cantela- *Walks up to the front desk to the elderly man standing behind it.* Hello, I’m Agent Cantela and this is Agent Grey. We’re with the FBI. Are you Doctor Wilson?
Dr. Wilson- Yes.. *Slow breathe in* yes I am.
Cantela- Could you tell us how many bodies were taken?
Dr. Wilson- *Raspy cough* All of them.
Cantela- How many would that be?
Dr. Wilson- 26. 26 bodies were taken, along with 3 preserved human nervous systems that we were preparing for the science college down the highway, and 6 body bags.
Grey- Only 6?
Dr. Wilson- Correct.
Grey- What about the other 20 bodies?
Cantela- How fresh were the bodies?
Dr. Wilson- Couple hours to a couple days. However we put all of them on deep freeze to preserve them.
Cantela- And how many were in good health when they died?
Dr. Wilson- 17 of them, the others either died of unnatural cause, heart attack, cancer, or an aneurysm.
Cantela- Do you have any security cameras here?
Dr. Wilson- Only the one in the waiting room on your side of this desk.
Grey- So you didn’t see anything.
Dr. Wilson- No. He must have one of the access keys to get in here because there were no signs of forced entry and this place was empty when I left.
Cantela- Why didn’t you install security cameras or an additional security system?
Dr. Wilson- Well usually people don’t get past the locks and steal bodies.
Grey- Wait, who were the most recent bodies to be buried and how old were they?
Dr. Wilson- We’ve only had 5 burials in the past month. Only 3 were in early stages of decay.
Cantela- And who would know that?
Dr. Wilson- Any doctors at the hospitals and anybody who broke in here. We have a list in the back, so they could’ve easily jotted it down.
Grey- Can we get a list of the most recent burials in the past month and their grave locations in the cemetery?
Dr. Wilson- Of course.
Cantela- Do you also have a log of who has an access key to here?
Dr. Wilson- Yes I do.
Cantela- We’ll need a copy of that too. Thank you.

Freedom- What is this? Abandoned parking garage?
Krasinskov- Correct. Murder scene is 5th floor by area C. It was a couple hours old when they found body because area is under construction so no one enters there.
Freedom- Gotcha.
Krasinskov and Freedom ascend the staircases and walk through to the opposite side of the parking structure and find the area under construction with police tape around the location.
Krasinskov- *Moves tape up and steps under and then walks over to the cold grey body.* Look. *He moves over the half open button down shirt and points to the circular pattern of dots around the victim's heart.*
Freedom- What is that?
Krasinskov- Resembles multiple syringe marks in circular form around the body.
Freedom- So what was he draining from the body?
Krasinskov- Unsure, however the holes have small purple spirals around the hole meaning the syringes were electrocuted. And the body is decomposing quickly and appears to have lost extensive amounts of body fluid.
Krasinskov traces his finger above the small circular formation of holes in the chest. The circle having an exact 8 cm diameter.
Freedom- *Looks down the hallway on his right. He sees a reddish figure moving in the dark just beyond the milky see through tarp covering over the passageway. He steps over to the opening while Krasinskov continues analysing the body. Freedom ducks under the tarp with his flashlight out and sees two doorways upon shining his light into the room. He turns to the right to an empty room. He shines his flashlight around to nothing more than a cold and barren cement room. He flips around to see what looks like a strange human with no skin and yellow glowing eyes no more than 5 cm from his face. The creature grabs him by the bullet proof vest with only one arm and lifts him off his feet. The creature flings around with Freedom in hand and launches him through the tarp. Freedom lands with a thud and skids on his back to the dead body propped against the wall. With no Krasinskov in sight,Freedom pulls out his gun and watches as the cryptic walks through.*

Instance encountered: SCP-4657 instance 1.
Description: You ever seen a human anatomy book? And seen the diagram of what a human body looks like with no skin? So all the muscles and tendons are exposed? That’s what this thing looks like. Then it’s right arm is mangled beyond relief. Past the middle forearm there’s nothing but a bone, no hand, just a sharp and broken bone sticking out. In addition it has yellow glowing eyes and there’s stitches around it’s left arm and both legs. As if someone had sewn them on.
«Begin Playing»
Freedom unloads an entire round into the anomaly as it steps past the tarp, slowing it down for a moment. But just before it can get any farther, Krasinskov out of nowhere runs towards the creature’s right side. He grabs SCP-4657-1’s forearm and snaps it’s elbow upwards with his hand; completely shattering the arm. He lets go of SCP-4657-1’s arm and then punches it in the throat and grabbing it’s head with only one hand, completely crushing it’s skull; killing it instantly. As SCP-4657-1 falls dead on the ground Krasinskov walks over to Freedom, who’s still winded and dazed, and helps him to his feet.
Freedom- So where’d you go? To buy groceries? *He says as he coughs and spits on the ground.*
Krasinskov- No. I was seeing where you went when I heard you struggling and I heard a thud.
Krasinskov takes a look at SCP-4657-1 and sees the stitches.
Krasinskov- That creature was made. Not created.
Freedom- What? How do you know?
Krasinskov- The creature has stitches on some body parts. Meaning someone deliberately stitched them on. That was no accident.
Freedom- Here lean me against this wall. And you go take a sample.
Krasinskov leans Freedom against the wall and pulls out a small tweezers and four tubes. He pulls off a strip off small muscle from the back, left arm, right leg, and left leg and places them in different containers each.
Freedom- Good. Let’s go.
Krasinskov helps Freedom onto his shoulder and the two walk out of the abandoned parking garage together.

*Sounds of shovels hitting course soil are heard.*
Grey- I hate digging.
Cantela- It’s been 23 minutes since we started.
Grey- Oh, shit. How much progress have we made?
Cantela- Not enough. I’d say you still need another two hours to finish your grave. I’d say an hour and 45 for mine.
Grey- God damn it. *He sticks the shovel into the ground and wipes the sweat off his forehead.*
Cantela- If you want I can call in the rest of the team to help us. They shouldn’t be too busy at the murder scene.
*Walkie talkie beeps twice.*
Krasinskov- Come in, this is Agent Krasinskov. Freedom was attacked by an anomaly at the murder scene. I took some samples of it, after I neutralized it, before we left. However, Freedom got hit pretty hard. I’m taking him to the hospital. Over.
*Walkie talkie beeps once.*
Cantela- I stand corrected.
Grey- Jesus, that escalated real quick. *Grey pulls his shovel out of the ground.* Back to work I guess.
«Fast Forward 1 hour, 58 minutes, and 43 seconds.»
Grey- Finally! I’m done!
Canela- *Pulls himself out of the grave Grey was digging.* Only took my help after I finished my grave. *Laughs.*
Grey- Shush, just let me have this.
Cantela- *Grabs the crowbar from the black duffle bag and tosses it down the grave to Grey.*
Grey- *Catches the crowbar with his left hand as he throws the shovel to the ledge above him.*
Cantela- Open up the coffin. I’ll open up mine. *Cantela grabs another crowbar from the bag and jumps down.*
Grey- So you have the freshest grave from this month, and I have the oldest?
Cantela- Yes, luckily they were related though so the graves were close by.
Grey pops open the coffin with the crowbar and pull up the lid to see an empty coffin. Cantela does the same and sees his coffin empty also.
Grey- I know this thing is empty, doesn’t mean it doesn’t smell though.
Cantela- Yours is empty too?
Grey- Yeah, so by association that these are newest and oldest, I’ll assume the ones that happened in between were taken too.
Cantela- That’s 13 murders, 26 bodies from the morgue, the 3 preserved human nervous systems they were going to be shipped, and 5 bodies from here, the cemetery.
Grey- That’s a lot of dead people.
Cantela- Very correct. And it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. What does he want with 31 bodies, and collective body parts from 16 people.
Grey- Wait, the body parts taken from the each murder victim was some of their best parts.
Cantela- What?
Grey- *Grey pulls himself out of the hole and begins pacing back and forth.* Yeah, two were doctors, so they were incredibly smart, he took their brains. Some were athletes, he took their hearts and muscles because they were in great physical shape. One victim was a national swimmer, his lungs were taken because his cardiovascular system would be in amazing shape. And continue that with the rest of the victims. Then the three human nervous systems are all from people that had great healthy ones because those ones were going on display, so they’re supposed to look good.
Cantela- Oh my god, what if he’s building some sort of super human? We have to get back to base these murders are getting more complicated.
<End Log>
<Begin Log>
Cantela and Grey slam into the board room in the police station.
McKeller- Good to see you two are back.
Cantela- We know what he’s trying to do with the bodies!
McKeller- What?
Grey- He’s building super humans!
McKeller- How?
Cantela- He’s stealing bodies and body parts because he’s trying to build super humans!
Krasinskov steps into the room with Freedom following behind with white bandages wrapped around his ribs.
Krasinskov- The anomalies were built.
Cantela and Grey and McKeller- *At the same time.* What?!
Krasinskov- The anomaly that attacked Freedom had stitches on it’s body parts, someone had sewn it together. I already took samples to the lab and found they were from three different bodies all at the morgue.
Cantela- Wait a second. He’s not building people. He’s building SCPs.
McKeller- Grey, get on your computer. Start cross referencing.
Grey- With what?
Cantela- He has access to the morgue. Start with this list of people who have keys.
Grey- That’s 32.
McKeller- He has extensive medical training and may be a doctor.
Grey- That’s 30.
Krasinskov- Recently fired or out of work or part time job.
Grey- 15.
McKeller- Has a large vehicle to transport these bodies.
Grey- 8.
Freedom- Owns a large building to keep all these bodies in.
Grey- 2.
Cantela- He recently suffered a loss of a close family member or coworker that caused him to snap.
Grey- 1. His name is Doctor Johanson. He recently lost his wife during child labour 2 days before the body snatching started. He owns a 4x4 pick up, and he owns the rights to the land lot of an abandoned factory.
McKeller- Let’s go everyone.
<End Log>
<Begin Log>
McKeller- Everyone we’ll be there in a minute. Strap up and be ready to go.
Krasinskov- *Pulls out a 0.3m x 0.3m x 0.3m box and opens it. The camera in the van pans to see the box full of hollow point rounds and heavy ammunition.* Load up. You may be needing this if there is any more of those creatures inside the complex.
*McKeller pulls the van up and everyone jumps out and runs towards the semi-truck loading bay.*
McKeller- *Keller looks at the padlock on the metal security door by the shipping bay.* Grey, can you get this open?
Grey- Yeah sure, give me a second. *The rest of the team lines up against the concrete wall.*
Grey looks through the small window at his head level, only to see the blackness beyond the door. He pulls open the padlock and cuts a small purple wire, before inserting another wire attached to a small screen. The screen lights up and begins running number combinations, before finally locking onto 1043. As the screen flashes 1043 in big green letters the padlock short circuits and unlocks the door. Before Grey can even open the door, a small harpoon rockets through a window and out the back of Grey’s skull.
Cantela- Holy-
Krasinskov- *Covers Cantela’s mouth before he can finish his shouting.* Shhh…
McKeller- We’ve got to move, let’s go.
Cantela- Right, sorry.
McKeller opens the door and steps inside to see a small pipe, laid out like a cannon aiming at the door, smoking. McKeller steps inside and signals the rest of the team. They hear a small crackling of electricity coming from upstairs, followed by a small shatter of what sounds like glass. McKeller signals Freedom to head towards the metal flight of stairs leading upwards towards the sound. Cantela looks to the right and into the opening to see more harpoon traps set up behind each door insight. MTF Sigma-17 begins weaving their way through the boxes and stacks of old equipment through the giant room. Freedom begins heading up the staircase quickly and on the fourth step closest to the top, he steps on it. It’s barely visible on the cameras, but you can see it, a trip wire. The second Freedom’s head is in sight of the landing there's a PEW sound, and then Freedom is gone. Krasinskov stops the team, and without crossing the horizon of the landing he flips over Freedom’s body to see a hole through it. Krasinskov gets on his belly and crawls just enough to peer over the top of the stairs and sees a small pistol with a silencer attached to the trip wire. Krasinskov crawls back down, cuts the tripwire before standing up, and walking the rest of the stairs and kicking over the pistol in it’s stand. MTF Sigma-17 walks over the cat walk into what looks like an office. Sitting on the desk is a with a lamp on, aiming at a small gun like object. The object is comprised of a medium sized clear canister attached to a ring of needles, with an 8 cm diameter, there is a small trigger on the bottom, and an vacuum pump attached on the back. Behind it on the wall are blueprints to the gun with the words “S.O.U.L. Extractor”. MTF Sigma-17 continues moving onto the next room and sees 12 empty tubes with small traces of a blue and white shimmering liquid inside. On each empty tube is the word “1 Unit of S.O.U.L.”. McKeller turns around to see the abandoned surgery table covered in blood and a surgery light aimed above it. Next to the far wall is a sink with rows of tables lined with surgery equipment. As the team walks past, into the next room, Cantela follows loosely from behind the other two. As the two pass in front of him they set off a motion tracker. PEW, a bullet whizzes past McKeller and Krasinskov, from another set up pistol stand, before making contact with Cantela’s left side. The bullet perfectly fitting through a small hole in Cantela’s bullet proof vest.
Cantela- Oh… oh no. *He looks at the other two as the pain hasn’t set in yet.*
McKeller and Krasinskov run over to catch him before he falls.
Cantela- I’m- I’m sorry. *Groan* I’m sorry I didn’t finish the job, sir.
McKeller- Hey, hey, you’re going to be okay. *He presses his hand to the wound and looks down at the warmth on his thigh. Blood. The bullet went right through Cantela’s side.*
Krasinskov sets Cantela’s head down on his leg.
Krasinskov- You did great. You did better than great. You made it so far. We’re proud of you. You don’t need to apologise. You worked so hard for this. We know you’re exhausted… We know you’re tired; just breathe in… and breathe out… Just close your eyes and sleep for a little. We promise we won’t leave. We’re always here for you. We’ll be here when you wake up. We promise.
Cantela breathes in and breathes out.
Cantela- Thank… you… for being… *Raspy breath in* my friends… *He whispers quietly as he turns a sickly gray colour.*
Cantela closes his eyes and turns his head towards his head towards Krasinskov. Cantela breathes one last time. And slowly stops moving. Krasinskov sits for a moment before gently setting down Cantela’s head on the metal floor and stands up. He begins walking towards the next room where he sees a dead body laying on the ground.
[[Unknown Voice]]- *Over PA System* Let’s play a game. *McKeller and Krasinskov draw their weapons, shocked by the sudden voice.* The door to your right is the door to the main factory floor, where I am, But only one of you two can face me. The other must stay there with no weapons. And face that.
*Suddenly the dead body on the ground begins to rise until it is fully standing.*

Instance encountered: SCP-4657 instance 13.
Description: This thing is just an amalgamation of bodies. It has a normal human torso and legs. That’s it. Everything else is unholy to look at. It’s face looks like someone bashed it with a brick more times than not, it’s missing a chunk of it’s right ear, and there is no hair, on a streak of the left side of the skull, where a cut had been made, only to be sewn back together. And one of the most grotesque parts is it appears to have a fully functional secondary human jaw attached to the bottom of the original. The right side of it’s body has two pretty muscular arms that had been stitched on, and one average arm that had been forcefully stapled on. The left side has two arms, with the top one having a tattoo of a dragon on it. There is also a noticeable cut along the stomach that had been stapled back together as well. And thank god for us, the thing is wearing black shorts.

Krasinskov- *Hands McKeller his gun and knife.* Go.
Dr. Johanson- *Over PA System* There, the door is unlocked. Come and get me.
Krasinskov cuts the feed to his cameras as McKeller runs towards the door.
Krasinskov- Come get me. I fight bear in Russia bigger than you.
McKeller shuts the door behind him and begins to run down the slender corridor, through the doorway at the end, and out into an opening. Just as he does though a BANG is heard and McKeller drops to one knee and sees the other one has been completely torn through by a bullet hole. As McKeller shouts in pain a hand grabs his weapons, tossing them to the side. Before snatching the back of McKeller’s bullet proof vest and dragging him over to the console overlooking the factory floor, filled with old and rusting machinery. McKeller painfully looks towards the right side of the room seeing two full giant pods labeled “15 S.O.U.L. units”, each with one tube protruding out the top and leading over to the darkness hovering above the factory floor. As Dr. Johanson plays with the controls he begins to speak.
Dr. Johanson- Have you ever lost someone? That you really cared and loved? *He pauses, as if anticipating an answer from the injured McKeller.* Perhaps not. Well I lost my wife, she died. And I would do anything to bring her back. And I figured it out! I mean who controls life and death? Only one person. God himself. *Dr. Johanson begins laughing hysterically before flipping a switch that shines a light into the darkness above the factory floor.*

McKeller can see it now. The two slender tubes leading up from the pods are injected into the veins of the right and left arms of the creature.
McKeller- What did you do? *He says through gritted teeth from the pain rushing from his wounded leg.*
Dr. Johanson- Like I said, the only thing that can bring back my wife is a god.
Dr. Johanson flips several switches along the control panel and hits a red button, sending the 30 S.O.U.L. units straight into the creature.
Dr. Johanson- So I built one.

Note: Following the disappearance of MTF Sigma-17 “Destiny’s Son” and all attempts to reach the team have ended in failure. The Foundation has sent MTF Beta-13 “Aqua Boy” along with MTF Alpha-0 “Genesis Ending” on a recovery mission of all data and recordings. The last known location of MTF Sigma-17 was verified to be an abandoned complex. No corpses were recovered. The only traces of the MTF Sigma-17 crew presence in the building being clothes of the corresponding members with any blood they spilled following their death. Personal cameras, weapons, and MTF Sigma-17’s Foundation van were recovered. This made clean up crews jobs easy. There was however, one formal survivor. Agent David Krasinskov was recovered in a comatose state. It is unclear why he is the only survivor or personal recovered. The factory floor in which Agent McKeller’s final confrontation took place has been (in the clean up crews terms) “Blown to hell and back.” Agent McKeller along with Doctor Johanson were verified to have been terminated in the explosion. The remains of the factory floor are consistent with that of a small scale nuclear detonation. The recovery teams best guess is the origin point of the explosion was just above the factory floor and may have been hanging from the ceiling. The time of the explosion appears to have occurred just seconds after the camera belonging to Agent McKeller had failed. All remaining instances of SCP-4657 (Instances 2 to 12) were eliminated by MTF Alpha-0. All citizens and police involved in the case where administered Class A Amnestics. All video recordings were recovered by the Foundation for further study. Any and all evidence referencing the event have been destroyed. Following the controversy at several Foundation sites about the existence of SCP-4657-0 this file will be sealed until permitted otherwise. Effective immediately.
