Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: All organizations and individuals investigating SCP-XXXX's existence are to ensure its containment at all times. It is currently unknown what will happen if this is not done. There are currently sixteen (16) individuals observing SCP-XXXX, all at different times throughout the day. SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a 7.5 X 7.5 X 3 Titanium infused steel containment cell. The only way to look through is through a one-way mirror that is located on the rear wall of an empty room connected to the office of Dr.█████.
Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a large deformed humanoid. it has eyes all over its body but it rarely ever opens them. If it feels threatened it will open its eyes, paralysing the opposing threat. Once the threat has been paralysed, SCP-XXXX will then proceed to draw it towards it, enticing it with hushed whispers, the details of which are currently unknown. Its stomach area will then warp and shape into a large, human-sized hole. Following that, an appendage from inside of the hole will reach out and pull the target into it. the hole will then close, and it has been revealed that for every victim that SCP-XXXX pulls into its body, another eye will grow on wherever there is a free space on its body.
SCP-XXXX has been deemed the name Panoptes (Πανόπτης). The name Panoptes has been derived from the mythological being Argus Panoptes, "The Thousand Eyed Giant". Upon observation, SCP-XXXX usually closes all of its eyes except the two on its head. Much like Argus, it never closes those eyes, and is described by Dr.█████ to 'keep watch' for something that is currently unknown. It has been deemed possible that the mythological giant Argus Panoptes was loosely based on sightings of SCP-XXXX during that time and mistaken for a messenger of the gods.
Upon decontamination, SCP-XXXX was found to contain an unknown virus contained in dust upon its body. The virus has been contained and destroyed. The same dust found on SCP-XXXX's body was discovered to be from a meteorite found on the Yucatan Peninsula in the 1960's. It is safe to say that SCP-XXXX came from inside this meteorite, however the approximate time is currently unknown.

Dr.█████: D1648963, please enter the containment chamber. (To cameraman) Hey, zoom in a little, will you?
A lift begins its descent down from a room opposite to the one-way mirror. D1648963 looks around as they step off the lift. SCP-XXXX is standing still, eyes blank and staring.
D1648963: Who is this? Why am I here?
Dr.█████: Looks like the memory wipe was successful. Begins writing in his notebook.
D1648963: Help! Beats wall with fists. SCP-XXXX stirs.
SCP-XXXX: [DATA EXPUNGED] Eyes start to open all over SCP-XXXX's body.
D1648963: Oh, god. Oh, oh, no! What the hell is it doing? Eyes begin to go blank.
SCP-XXXX: (To D1648963) Unintelligible.
D1648963: *Audible moan - Begins walking towards SCP-XXXX.
Dr.█████: (To cameraman) Get a closer look at that!
D1648963: *Audible moan*
SCP-XXXX: (To D1648963) Unintelligible.
A black void slowly begins to form in SCP-XXXX's stomach. An appendage shoots out and grabs D1648963 by the waist. It pulls D1648963 into the hole and it closes.
Dr.█████: Jesus! Recoils as appendage from SCP-XXXX elongates and feels the wall near the mirror. Cameraman stumbles.
SCP-XXXX: Unintelligible.
Dr.█████ Stop the video now! Hey! I said-
