Special Containment Procedures: SCP 4572 is to be contained in a lit 30 by 30 meter cubic water tank, the tank’s sides are to be constructed out of a 5 cm thick layer of standard Metallic Glass to allow for observation. The water inside SCP 4572’s containment chamber is to always be cooled to 0 degrees celsious, the outside of SCP 4752’s water tank is to be warmed to 15 degrees celsius and warmed to a maximum of 25 degrees celsious in the case of a containment breach. SCP 4572 it is to be fed 2 pigs (Sus Scrofa Domesticus) every day through a hatch on the top of SCP 4752’s tank, the hatch should be constructed out of reinforced steel. Weekly maintenance is to be carried out on the entire tank and if ever the problem of a damaged tank arises, SCP 4752 is to be administered a 10 milligram dose of Carfentanil through its food before any repair can take place.
Description: SCP 4752 is a large organism resembling a dull grey, fully grown adult Orca (Orcinus Orca), an estimated 78% of SCP 4752’s total mass is constructed out of an unknown anomalous metal with appendages highly resembling hooks and harpoons used for killing whales in the 17th century protruding out of its mass. SCP 4752 is able to utilise these appendages for faster movement and combat, these appendages SCP 4572 possesses are also extremely detrimental to containment as they are very sturdy and can be used by SCP 4572 to break containment. These harpoon and hook like appendages are attached to SCP 4572 by chains of varying length, the remaining 22% resembles the normal living tissue of a fully grown adult male Orca, with few anomalous properties such as weighting much less than normal Orca tissue and having much less blubber which would theoretically allow SCP 4572 to survive on land. Though this has never been observed and is unlikely, facility personnel are still to exercise caution around SCP 4572’s tank as it seems more than willing to breach its current tank.
SCP 4572 is able to rapidly regenerate any part of its body including the anomalous metal, hook and harpoon like appendages it is mostly constructed out of. SCP 4572 is highly hostile to any human it encounters, it is especially hostile to anyone working in the fishing industry however it is not known how SCP 4572 can tell fishing industry workers apart from other humans.
It is not known wether SCP 4572 is sentient though it is likely, it shows signs of high intelligence even for a a member of the Orcinus genus and has been shown to register and respond to pain.
Addendum 4572.1: Discovery
SCP 4572 was discovered in the South Antarctic Ocean, it was submerged at approximately 67 leagues deep and was first spotted as it was surfacing by a foundation agent stationed in the area, while conducting a routine check on the local area through the use of a heat detection drone.
