Special Containment Procedure: SCP-4840 should be kept in a suspended concrete/rebar enclosure of 30x30x12 at 12m from any other surface, suspended by 4 rebar bars into the concrete exterior on every side and corner. 5 MTF's must be present at all times to prevent both escapes and to inspect the concrete on cracks. SCP-4840 has been terminated by SCP-4990 in incident 4990-3/4840-4. SCP-4840's remains are repurposed as SCP-4990's bathtub as of 4/12/20██
Description: SCP-4840 appears to be a 2.5 metre semi-sentient humanoid made entirely of granite chunks held together by energy veins. It's build is akin to a body builder's on steroids. SCP-4840 was able to control any type of natural rock or sand within 12 metres of it's body. It had virtually no control over concrete, only managing to vibrate it softly. SCP-4840's centre energy changed colour according to it's 'emotions' Red for fear, Yellow for joy, Blue for sadness Purple for fear, orange for anger while white was neutral.
Not much is known about SCP-4840, as it was in containment for two months before it's destruction. 4840's mental state was comparable to an infant of 4, capable of throwing tantrums, crying in a mysteriously mechanical voice and limited speech.
Incident 4840-1
SCP-4840 was kept within a standard 30x30x12 enclosure until it activated it's seismic abilities to escape, causing multiple casualties, Sgt.████ ████████ managed to put SCP-4840 in a dormant state using SCP 127. How this occured is unknown though it's believed organic material fusing with it's 'core' on the chest puts it in a dormant state for two (2) hours. After multiple attempts, SCP-4840 was returned to it's enclosure.
Incident 4840-2
SCP-4840 had broken the door of the enclosure and proceeded to escape, causing [REDACTED] casualties and severe structural damage. SCP-127 had been deployed with an MTF team. SCP-4840 seemed partially resistant to the projectiles fired. Multiple direct hits managed to break the resistance and this led Dr.████████ ██████ to believe it's able to accomodate to it's weakenesses and ask for a reassignment from 'Safe' to 'Euclid'.
Incident 4840-3 and termination.
SCP-4840, along with multiple other SCP's was freed, resulting an error in the mainframe. MTF's were busy pacifying others when Dr.████ ████████ took up arms and decided to fire upon SCP-4840 with SCP-127, angering SCP-4840 who chased her and attempted to kill her. The invervention of SCP-4990 saved her life and subsequently ended SCP-4840's as it was torn in half, revealing it contained organs and blood. Following this incident, SCP-4990 resuested 4840's granite remains to be used for his bathtub. (Approved and repurposed.)
Experiment 4840-1
SCP-4840 was asked to move a limestone plate forward, lying ten (10) metres away. It complied and shoved it forward for six (6) metres. When asked to move it further, 4840 walked within twelve (12) metres and repeated the action.
