Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-4936 is to be contained in a 10m x 10m x 10m soundproof granite containment cell, the observation glass must be a one-way mirror supported by steel borders, the cell door is to be supervised with sensors to trigger an alarm upon its destruction, and reinforced with a thick sliding gate made of tungsten. The chamber must be heated to temperatures in between 100-120 degrees fahrenheit/37.77-48.88 degrees celsius. The chamber must be brightly lit, and the opposing side dark enough in order for the glass to work.
No personnel are allowed to enter when the heater is active (as it is to a point of death within minutes), it must be deactivated and cooled until room temperature. All personnel must be accompanied by multiple guards (depending on how many), with stun guns capable of producing 18.5mv (megavolts) per hit. All possible damage within the walls of the cell should be repaired upon discovery. All kinds of communication other than writing are prohibited within the cell, movements should be slow and peaceful. No personnel can stay within the cell any longer than ten (10) minutes.
If ever SCP-4936 is to breach containment, all personnel are to be evacuated from the site, then will be put to lockdown, and all available MTF units are to track it down and re-contain it. Though, she can never be permanently contained, and must be supervised in surveillance cameras at all times.
Description:
SCP-4936 is a rather alien creature, standing 5.7 feet in height and 5.9 in length (her tail being an additional 12.3), she has hook-like teeth range from 2.5 to 4.2 inches (based on most recent study), her skin is incredibly thick and nearly bullet-proof, making her hard to stun. The skin on her head, back, tail and lower arms/legs are a dark grey with a beige streak on the back of her head running down to her neck to her chest, her ankle and the end of her tail. On the lower part of her chest, she has secondary arms and are relatively smaller than her primary ones of the same colour, the rest of her body being cream white and tan. Her claws are incredibly sharp, and are about the size of an infant’s hand. Her chin bypasses her upper jaw, and feels entirely made of bone. 4936 sheds skin on a seasonal basis, colours varying in black, brown, white and red.
SCP-4936 has a bite force of approximately 1200 psi, capable of snapping straight into a tree trunk. Though, her anatomy reveals her to obtain the same organs of any other animal, she obtains a special organ at the back of her throat that can transfer vibrations up to the frills at the side of her head that make a sort of purring sound going to approximately 130 db (decibels), it appears to be a form of communication to SCP-4936-A. Other sounds that SCP-4936 create are imitations of what she’s heard (roars coming from movies and games), the amount of decibels she can produce is unknown until now.
SCP-4936 is sentient, and has a high level intellect: she is capable of picking through locks. And much like a dog, she uses the same part of the brain humans use to communicate; helping her understand human language. Though she can only imitate so much, researchers are unsure if she is capable of speaking, and have only come close to her responding with the voice of a child learning its first words, personnel assume she came in friendly contact with a child no older than 8 years old. She shows to have compassion towards other creatures, and can act as a foster mother at times.
SCP-4936 appears to only be hostile of quick or sudden movements that she cannot identify, chasing anything that moves in the corner of her eye, snapping, biting, scratching. She is able to feel vibrations from 90.8 kilometers away, her body is flexible enough to let either her upper or lower body twist the other way around without harming any internal organs. Her top running speed is 388 km/h, this was discovered during her first sighting by an Egyptian explorer named Rashida Bephlamek in the south of the Sahara Desert in 1942 when she was spotted hunting down a band of traders, her speed can come to the point that her legs are no longer touching the surface. Her claws are incredibly useful in climbing, and can get her up a mountain within minutes.
