Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4980 is to be confined in a red jade box that has its four sides carved with the four mythological creatures in the Chinese constellations. They are the Azure Dragon of the East, the Vermilion Bird of the South, the White Tiger of the West, and the Black Turtle of the North side of the box.
The box can contain SCP-4980 for a year but after the year ends the jade container will crumble immediately to dust. The same container must be used again however the container can only keep it inside for 11 months and after that 10 months and it continues to lessen.
After the containment fails SCP-4980 release a strange aura within 50 kilometer radius that kills every single living being in its surroundings, after a day it will release the aura again within 100 kilometers, this continues until its aura completely covers the entire globe.
To reset the effectiveness of the containment a person must use SCP-4980, after using the container can confine it again for another 12 months.
SCP-4980 is kept underground in the city of ███████ guarded by 10 armed guards in a 6 inch titanium safe within a 2 meter thick concrete room.
No other SCP's must be detected within 100 meter of its surroundings for reasons that SCP-4980 seems to enter in a state of "distress" that causes for it to teleport anywhere in the world leading for it to escape containment.
Description: SCP-4980 was discovered in an unknown location of ████ █████ in 1939 by an unknown group archaeologist under the foundation. Surrounding SCP-4980 was innumerable amount of corpse wearing old chinese armors that dated almost 500 years ago.
One of the corpses near SCP-4980 was holding a red jade container while another corpse contains an old imperial scroll.
Due to the ravages of time the scroll was already on verge of being destroyed so it took a long time for the foundation to translate the scroll.
Before containing SCP-4980 a huge incident happened. The group that first discovered SCP-4980 immediately lost contact with the foundation after 2 days, the foundation immediately sent a containment team at the last known location of the group. When the containment team arrived the location they found the corpses of the group.
