Description: [SCP-4989 is a phenomenon where a random small town will go into an alternate reality for 20 hours to up to 9 days. SCP-4989 usually effects towns with less than 10.000 people. The effect usually starts when a part of the town which is usually a roar that leaves the city will be completely destroyed. This reality mostly has the following features:
Rusty metal
Blood red walls
Extremely dense fog
Acidic rain
Walls or ceilings that have metal bars behind them will peel itself of
Already strong metals are now extremely easy to cut through
The phenomenon only takes place during the 20th of may till the 19th of august. The town is refered to as SCP-4989-A. Subject within SCP-4989 have reported poltergeists, demonic entities, voices in their heads, Memory loss after 3 hours of being in the town, the will to pray to god and burn an entity known as SCP-4989-B. SCP-4989-B is a small female chil which is 7 years old and has unusuall effect on the citizens. For example SCP-4989-B can controll the minds of people and it can make people go into an alternate reality.
In the center of the town is a church that has a sign reading: "where god protects the praying." (it doesn't matter if it doesn't have a church or another building is in its place.) If any female subject enters the church the local people belive that she is the witch and try to burn the subject. If any of the local citizens says things about theirn past and then stab the female subject an entity known as SCP-4989-C will rise up and kill all of the local citizens. The entity usually takes the form of people who have suffered and then died shortly after that.
When the effect end the subject will faint and remain asleep for 48 hours after which they remember almost nothing.]
