Special Containment Procedures: SCP - 5004 is to be kept in an airtight, metal locker nailed to a steel pedestal within an auto-filtering steel cell. SCP - 5004 should under no circumstances be taken out of the cell without a sealed container to hold in fumes. In the scenario of a containment breach of SCP - 5004, MTF Team Beta-7 (Maz Hatters) must be sent into the breached area to capture and filter SCP - 5004. Upon containment, instances of SCP - 5004-2 that aren't requested to be saved upon the order of a level 4 personnel are to be terminated.
Description: SCP - 5004 is a 5 inch tall, long-nosed glass bottle with a 2.67-inch diameter bottle holding an anomalous, blue, luminescent liquid. This liquid is named SCP - 5004-1. Composition shows to have traces of tranquilizer, chloral hydrate and aspirin. Further research showed that SCP - 5004-1 alters its composition to match a sedative potent enough to put any organism of any size to sleep. SCP - 5004-1 under a microscope is a collection of microscopic organisms that have the ability to alter their chemical formula for the previously stated function. SCP - 5004-1 are eukaryotes that in structure match a plant cell along with 2 Golgi apparatuses, two extra nuclei, various ribosomes, and chloroplasts. Although SCP -5004-1 is a living microorganism, subjects show to be able to enter a 100% gaseous, and liquid state while retaining normal qualities or its original composition. Upon an organism entering skin contact or intaking SCP - 5004-1 through any orifices, the subject will enter a deep sleep that will last for 46 hours and 3 minutes. Instances will show no signs or body function although the instance will tend to move in correlation to the dream the instances had. These instances are pronounced SCP - 5004-2. After 2 hours after entering the sleep state, the subject will undergo a regenerative state that will repair 98% of any damages within minutes. This also shows to neutralize birth defects and improve body composition and structure. Upon SCP - 5004-2 awakening again, the instance will be paralyzed for 5 minutes due to the subject's brain not recuperating with the improved body. The recovery of motor skills and muscle memory are designed within the 5-minute span. After inspection of instances of SCP - 5004-2 state that they dreamed of meeting an entity named "Hypno" and that he explains what is happening around them and to the person with a 99% accuracy. This entity is named SCP 5004- alpha. SCP - 5004- alpha is described as the head of a Caucasian male within the age range of 24 - 30 years in facial appearance, having brown hair and glowing blue eyes along with the head having wings with a wingspan of about 20 feet. SCP - 5004-1 has a high reproduction rate which is used to explain how SCP - 5004 can fully compensate for its emptying in a 1.933 second period. SCP - 5004 has not shown to be able to repair or completely neutralize severe mental illnesses such as anxiety, chronic depression, amnesia, and schizophrenia. After 3 hours of SCP - 5004-2's improvements, they will eventually wear off. Neutralized defects or injury are noted to be excluded from this process. Upon closing SCP - 5004, all instances of SCP - 5004-1 will reenter SCP - 5004 within the timespan of closing the cap of the object. Max distances tested was 6 kilometers to which SCP - 5004-1 reentered within 1.7 milliseconds. If SCP - 5004-2 is interrupted during recovery or alteration subject will begin to disintegrate within 3 minutes and 4 seconds. There is no known way to stop this process. The reasoning for SCP - 5004's classification of being Thaumiel is because SCP - 5004 can easily be contained through the right means and shows to be immune to anomalous objects to which SCP - 5004 can sedate the anomalies with an 89% success rate.
Recovery Log 5004-1:
SCP 5004 was found in 1932 in an improperly sealed cemetery located in Athens, Greece. Three reports were accounted for describing a blue cloud covering the area putting anyone who enters to sleep. This was later proven to be SCP - 5004-1 in a gaseous state. 2918 instances of SCP - 5004-2 were found within the cemetery. After 17 hours of searching, SCP - 5004 was found open. When SCP - 5004 was closed, all instances of SCP - 5004-1 quickly enter SCP - 5004 within the timespan of closing SCP - 5004.
Addendum 5004-1:
Request to use SCP - 5004 for the purpose of repairing and healing MTF officers, agents, and platoons by Dr. Mortis. (granted under the restrictions of avoiding use within open zones exceeding the timespan of healing instances SCP - 5004-2. This is to avoid an event of mass destruction to rural areas and cities. Event Log 5004-1:
SCP - 5004 was stolen and released into the city of [FILE CORRUPT] upon which instances of SCP - 5004 rose to 57000 feet and expanded a 38040-foot radius to which the instances knocked out the pilot and passengers of 10 planes passing, several motorists and two boat captains. This resulted in █████ casualties. Perpetrator was Dr. Richards, a researcher of SCP - 5004. Upon interview of the researcher for performing this action, she replied by saying that no one believed her and she needed to prove how dangerous it could be.
