Special Containment Procedures: In order to keep SCP-5088 dormant, white noise must be played wherever it is being held (this does not matter). The only time white noise does not have to be played is in an instance where a very loud noise is being played.
Description: SCP-5088 is the skull of 14 year old boy [DATA EXPUNGED]. For a currently unknown reason, it vibrates a small amount when white noise is not being played, and stays dormant when it is not. After about 20 minutes of vibrating, small horns start to protrude from right above each temple. After 2-3 hours of growing, the horns can be somewhere between 5-8 feet long. After 24 hours, ███-███ feet long. The skull stops vibrating when the horns reach a length of ██ feet long.
The skull started vibrating after two drunk grave robbers took the boy’s skull to have a nice time. They played around with it for quite some time, then, during their questioning, they stated that the skull started to “vibrate harder than a massage chair” while they were using it, and how, after a while, it “became a demon’s skull, growing really long horns”. They were sentenced to █ years of prison.
What makes the skull more extraordinary than it already is is that it’s horns can easily be removed, with the strength of Gypsum. Once removed, though, they become stronger than diamonds, and cannot be broken in any way.
