Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5099 is to be sealed within an airtight safe contained inside a 5x5x5 containment area. Access to SCP-5099 is to be restricted to personnel with L2+ Clearance or with explicit permission from the Site Director. Any other personnel attempting to gain access to SCP-5099 should be restrained and interrogated.

Description: SCP-5099 is a standard jet-black-ink Foundation pen. Testing on its ink shows no anomalous affects present on the ink yet, and the pen itself is invulnerable to any form of damage, such as blunting, dissolving and burning.

Its anomalous affects become prevalent when the object is used to write any sort of mark letter, number, hieroglyph or the like. When used to make any mark, the ink from SCP-5099 becomes [DATA-EXPUNGED]. This phenomenon is not observable, or even comprehensible, by the naked eye, but can be observed using an electron microscope, the magnification exceeding that of x250000.

Using SCP-5099, it is possible to create topologically consistent shapes that are presumed to be in the -1th dimension. The user of SCP-5099 does not need to have any extensive knowledge of dimensions or geometry to be able to draw shapes in the -1th dimension. The hypersphere of such a dimension has yet to be discovered.

Shapes that are drawn in the -1th dimension by SCP-5099 are frequently memetic kill agents. Whether this is an attribute to SCP-5099 or whether the human mind can comprehend such shapes is still being tested.

Discovery: On [EXPUNGED] , reports of a new fundamental mathematical discovery was made in [REDACTED]. At approximately 1700 hours, reports of a mass murder was communicated to local law enforcement agencies. The non-prevalence of any outer physical damage on the bodies attracted the attention of Foundation agents, who discovered and secured the object and administered amnestics to involved personnel.
