Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained at Site ███ in a standard humanoid containment chamber devoid of any water systems. D-Class cells must be stationed within 1 km of SCP-XXXX to minimize possibility of personnel death by Type 3 Products. Once every four days a team of Class-D Personnel equipped with cleaning supplies, earmuffs, and blindfolds should be dispatched to remove any writing made by SCP-XXXX. These teams should also be equipped with multiple blank books. These books should be placed in SCP-XXXX's containment chamber, and any books that are in SCP-XXXX's containment chamber should be removed and given to researchers for further testing with SCP-XXXXs fluid and symbols. Should any persons affected by SCP-XXXXs cognitohazards be located, termination should be enacted at the earliest convenience.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a semi-corporeal, cognitohazardous hooded humanoid entity, approximately 3 meters in height, that appears to be comprised completely out of an unknown red liquid This entity has so far been unable or unwilling to communicate with staff. Attempting to make physical contact with SCP-XXXX results in the bodily fluids of the exposed area being replaced with the liquid SCP-XXXX appears to be made out of, which then proceeds to slowly replace all other bodily fluids of the subject, until expiration, usually due to blood loss, suffocation, or organ failure. This entity exhibits indifference towards staff when left alone, and close investigation of SCP-XXXXs form have revealed multiple cognitohazardous symbols on the surface of SCP-XXXX. The meaning of these symbols is currently unknown.
This liquid is extremely difficult to remove from any surface, requiring a team of ten people equipped with janitorial cleaning supplies to work twelve hours to remove a one meter by one meter square area of the liquid. If there is no surfaces for the liquid to be placed on, then the liquid will start to appear on parallel surfaces.
SCP-XXXX is unable to make physical contact with organic matter or cloth, with its form simply passing through such a object. When left to its own devices, SCP-XXXX will draw or write on any available surface that is not covered by any liquid previously produced by SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX only seems to be capable of using its hands to produce the liquid, as physical contact without the use of hands have not left traces of the liquid. If anything attempts to or outright prohibits SCP-XXXX to draw or write, it will enter a state of considerable hostility, and will lash out at any entity within reach until the interference has been removed.
Addendum-SCP-XXXX-01: Currently, SCP-XXXX has created three types of consistent products when writing or drawing on surfaces. The following addendum contains a list of these products and the anomalous effects of said products.
Type 1: SCP-XXXX has been recorded to make cognitohazardous symbols that cause the viewer’s bodily fluids to gradually be replaced by the same liquid SCP-XXXX is comprised of. The viewer does not need to be consciously viewing these symbols for the effect to take place, and viewers typically have a 1 day period before expiration. SCP-XXXX also speaks in an unknown language, which has the same effect as viewing the cognitohazards it creates. Deciphering of this language has been deemed impossible without unacceptable staff casualties.
Type 2: SCP-XXXX produces with its liquid is highly detailed pictographs that demonstrate a present or future event of varying importance. These pictographs current events with unnatural accuracy, and pictographs depicting future events have always occurred, typically occurring █ █████ after the pictograph was drawn (See Addendum SCP-XXXX-2). It is unclear whether or not SCP-XXXX influences these events, or if they occur naturally.
Type 3: SCP-XXXX produces a pictograph of itself holding its hand over a detailed and identifiable person who is currently within 8 km of SCP-XXXX. Underneath the hand is a single drop of what can safely be assumed to be a drop of SCP-XXXXs fluid. Approximately 3 months after this pictograph is made, the person in question will develop the cognitohazards SCP-XXXX has engraved on its form. This will cause all persons exposed to the individual to be subjected to the typical effects of being exposed to SCP-XXXXs cognitohazards. SCP-XXX creates these pictographs approximately twice every █████.
Initial Recovery: SCP-XXXX was first discovered in the suburban town of [REDACTED] on ██/██/████. Multiple reports of cognitohazards were reported appearing on the skin of a number of the towns residence. MTF-Epsilon-6 (“Village Idiots”) and MTF-Eta-10 (“See No Evil”) were deployed to determine the source of these cognitohazards, eventually locating SCP-XXXX in the sewers of [REDACTED]. The MTF units were able to contain SCP-XXXX by cutting off several of the sewer lines, leaving only one space left for SCP-XXXX to write, which was a cage used to trap it. A total of ██ personnel were lost during the containment of SCP-XXXX.
Addendum-SCP-XXXX-02: The following document contains information of notable pictographs that SCP-XXXX has made since its time at the Foundation. These only contain pictographs that depict events that have some sort of important detail in them, or are otherwise significant enough to call for some attention.
██/██/████: A pictograph of an attack on Site-██ by the Chaos Insurgency. Military defence of Site-██ was doubled and successfully countered the attack, which occurred █ █████ after the pictograph was created.
██/██/████: A pictograph of an airstrike on a populated town in █████. Foundation personnel attempted to evacuate the town before the bombing could be performed, but the bombing commenced twelve days before the events depicted by the pictographs are expected to occur.
Note: It seems that when attempts are made to intercept events depicted in pictographs produced by SCP-XXXX, the event will commence sooner than is usually depicted. Further research should be put into this to see if any events depicted are actually avoidable.

██/██/████: [DATA EXPUNGED] being performed on [DATA EXPUNGED]. All viewers of the image committed suicide after various periods of time after viewing the pictograph. Pictograph destroyed as requested by O5 command.
██/██/████: A pictograph depicting SCP-1762, with the words “HERE WERE DRAGONS” written on it with permanent marker, as opposed to the current “HERE BE DRAGONS” on it. On 30/56/2014, approximately █ █████ after the pictograph was created, following the retrieval of the final message by SCP-1762-1, the message was updated to “HERE WERE DRAGONS”.
██/██/████: [DATA EXPUNGED].
Note: Since this event has not occured yet, I highly recommend that we put quite a bit of our resources into stopping this event from happening before it is too late. We can’t have another one of these things happen on our watch.
