Special Containment Procedures:
SCP Foundation funds the political opponents in order to beat the SCP-5173 in elections. Funding includes rival media, parties etc. Containment procedure won't be successfully all the time. However, full containment or terminating the SCP has proven impossible, so limiting its public appearance is the current procedure.
Sterilizing the SCP and converting it into homosexual has been attempted without any effect.
Description:
SCP is a Greek family line. It is suspected that the SCP is actually a gene. The gene makes male carriers excellent politicians that become leaders of Greece. This seems to be the only beneficial effect of the gene. The politicians of this family are surrounded by extreme unlucky events ranging from simple every-day annoyances to global pandemic. These males are designated numbers. The most important of them are SCP-5173-1 and SCP-5173-2.
It seems that the unluckiness is correlated to the political influence of the carrier. Please see an small list of the correlated events:
- The Great depression happened when SCP-5173-1 was born.
- During WWII Germans bombarded the train on which SCP-5173-1 was passengers. All wagons were destroyed apart from SCP-5173-1's.
- When SCP-5173-1 became prime minister USSR collapsed.
- When SCP-5173-1 was the only Western leader to visit Yugoslavia. It collapsed into chaos.
- SCP-5173-2 visited Hollywood. The Hollywood superstars death rate doubled this year.
- When SCP-5173-2 contacted Australia. Wildfires came across.
- When SCP-5173-2 visited China, SARS-Cov-2 has been created. It produced the Covid19 pandemic.
The SCP foundation decided to terminate SCP-5173-2 while he was young. They accidentally killed his sister's husband creating political chaos. Later attempts were unsuccessful with agents being killed, and Greek intelligence started noticing Foundation attempts. The O5 council decided to stop termination attempts to avoid being publicly exposed.
Contact attempts with SCP-5173 were unsuccessful too, as fate always prevented contact.
Foundation decided to fund political opponents. It coincided with Euro debt crisis and possible EU potential collapse. It is not known if the political crisis was created by SCP-5173 as a revenge, or unintentionally by SCP foundation. O5 council decided to terminate any action immediately, as it interfered with international politics.
After Covid19 pandemic, O5-counsil begun a new investigation to find effective containment procedures.
