Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is not to be viewed at any time. Any individuals who view SCP-XXXX are to be detained, questioned, and terminated within 18 hours of viewing. All forms of media containing SCP-XXXX are to be seized and sent to Site-██ and stored in the video archive. Locally embedded agents are instructed to be aware of the signs of an SCP-XXXX related incident, and act while arousing as little suspicion as possible.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a 15-minute long video found on various physical forms of media such as: VHS tapes, Betamax Tapes, DVDs, Blu-Rays, and hard drives. File names for SCP-XXXX vary although all thus far have contained references to lions, such as Pride.mp4, Mane.avi, and Savannah.mov. All manifestations appear to be restricted to a region within the state of Nebraska. So far, all manifestations of SCP-XXXX have been resistant to degradation, scratching, or file corruption, although they are not invulnerable to physical damage caused intentionally.

The video itself depicts a hand puppet, molded after a male Panthera leo moving from one side of the screen to the other against a black background for a majority of the video. At around the 14-minute mark the puppet will move to the center of the screen and stare directly at the camera while appearing to examine the viewer. Finally the puppet roars at the viewer for a fraction of a second before being cut off by the video ending.

Human individuals who view the entire video will immediately begin to suffer from various and intense phobias, including agrostophobia, enochlophobia, and ailurophobia. Subjects will do anything to avoid grass, large groups of people, and any cats they come across. Subjects will claim that they are in danger and report feelings of being stalked. Subjects begin losing trust in those around them, and often enter fits of insanity and delirium attempting to avoid any and all human interaction. At this individuals who are close to the subject will begin exhibiting unusual behavior, including long term observation of the subject, and persistently following them. Approximately 18 hours after viewing SCP-XXXX, those who are within a 20 meter radius to the subject will aggressively pursuit the subject and eventually surround them, and then proceed to heavily mutilate and disembowel the subject by biting and ripping apart their tissue. Death occurs within three minutes unless the attackers incapacitated or killed.

After an attack, affected individuals will proceed with normal behavior and will deny any of their actions in between the subjects first viewing of SCP-XXXX and their attack on them. Furthermore affected individuals will deny that the subject even existed. Even when presented with footage of the event or documents relating to the subject, affected individuals will deny any involvement with or awareness of the subject.]

Addendum: SCP-XXXX was first discovered in a suburban home in Omaha. Police investigated the death of ████████ and his wife and three children were later arrested. The victim most likely had watched the video out of curiosity as it was found in the DVD player in his living room during an investigation of the house. Locally embedded Agent █████ viewed the video on accident during this investigation. He was later found dead having been killed by five members of the police force. Other embedded agents reported his death to the foundation and a cover story was made, claiming that the agent and initial victim were killed by the family's dog suffering from rabies.
