Item #: SCP-5769

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: Both 5769s are currently located at site ██.

SCP 5769-1 is to be kept in a 10 * 10 * 10 m concrete room at a temperature range of 0-10 degrees Celsius at all times, unless directed to exit by level 3 or higher ranking staff.

SCP 5769-2 is allowed to roam facility walkways freely, unless given instructions otherwise. It is to be fed 8 oz of █████ ██'s ███ Foundation Brand™ dog food 3 times a day; 10:00 am, 2:00 pm, and 6:00 pm (timezone based on location). It is to be given a 0.25 cm cube of steamed beef liver when it performs a task successfully.

5769-2's bedtime is at 9:30 pm and sleeps on its doggy bed in the same room as SCP 5769-1.

Description: SCP 5769-1 appears to be a 1.63 meter tall male European human that weighs about 3968.93 kilograms. Its face is almost entirely covered by a thin, strong, iron sheet that seems to have been re-molded to fit the shape of its head. Only its large eyes are visible through an 8 centimetre space between the metal slits. They glow dark yellow and emanate thermal energy, the source of which is currently unknown.

All attempts to measure the exact amount of thermal energy emitted by the eyes including [REDACTED] have failed. Due to the sheer amount of heat they expel when any form of physical contact is achieved (excluding by the protective iron), it has been deemed impossible. No further tests may be conducted on this matter.

5769-1 contains the same genetic material as 12 year old human male ████ █████. It responds to and executes certain basic commands such as "come," "throw," or "point" and has shown the ability to learn new ones such as "draw," "rip," and "push" when directly referred to as "it" or ████ █████.

The entity can understand complex sentences such as "climb the ladder and flip the switch to turn on the lights" as long as the commands in the sentence are ones it has learned or already known. It also has shown the ability to learn new languages, English being its first. Currently it understands commands in English, French, Russian, Spanish, and sign language.

Requests to use SCP 5769-1 for medical purposes are still awaiting approval.

It is incapable of stopping unless either told to do so or it has completed its task, and seems to be able to do anything an able bodied human can do at a highly accelerated rate unless told to execute said command at a specific speed (this does not include [REDACTED], as 5769-1 has no form of [REDACTED]). If it cannot execute a command it will not respond.

Commands are taught to 5769-1 through observation of the task and repetition of the same word 3-5 times while maintaining direct eye contact. As of 2006, due to certain limits 5769-1 is to be taught commands through video.

SCP 5769-1's body is composed of approximately 47% titanium, 29% human muscle, and 24% an unknown gaseous substance, all of which is arranged in a seemingly random order throughout the body. Despite all of this, SCP 5769-1 shows no signs of true consciousness and can do nothing but execute commands. It does not require food, sleep, or water.

SCP 5769-2 is a 27.94 centimetre tall 5.9 kilogram Japanese Spitz dog with what have been identified to be unnaturally small deer hooves in place of its feet. Its fur is mangled and bloody, yet it shows no signs of distress.

Unlike 5769-1, 5769-2 is at least conscious and seems to be aware of its actions. It is about as intelligent as a typical Japanese Spitz but can only learn through what is taught to 5769-1. When 5769-1 learns something, 5769-2 automatically obtains this knowledge. How this knowledge is obtained is currently unknown.

SCP 5769-2 has only shown the ability to complete tasks that a non-anomalous dog can, and will tilt its head in confusion if ordered to do something it cannot. Otherwise it will not hesitate to complete the task. Before completing tasks, 5769-2 must be directly referred to as "dog" or ███.

Excluding about 48% of the upper half of the head and its deer hooves, 5769-2 is composed of about 36% titanium, 52% dog muscle, and 12% of the same gaseous substance found in 5769-1. This is also arranged seemingly randomly. The corrosive properties of the gas may contribute to 5769-2's accelerated metabolism.

SCP 5769-2 behaves similarly to a non-anomalous Spitz, and shows mild aggression towards unfamiliar staff. If left alone for a period of more than 24 hours, 5769-2 will begin to show signs of fear and continuously bark loudly, occasionally scratching at walls. After 3 days, it will cease all respiratory and digestive activity completely and become paralyzed until brought within visual range of SCP 5769-1. It will then resume non-isolated activity as normal.

SCP 5769-2 acts as a companion to SCP 5769-1.

Addendum: SCPs 5769-1 and 5769-2 were first found in █/██/███ at ███ ████ middle school near █████████ ███, when reports of 7 missing children had gotten out in █/██/███. 6 of the 7 were found huddled together in a closet at the home of ████ ██████, the 7th missing child. When seen by SCP personnel, all children turned to them, attempted to attack, and immediately went unconscious by anomalous means.

When interviewed, the children claimed to have no recollection of the events which lead up to this. Brain scans show they were telling the truth. No amnestics were applied.

When the building was explored after the children were removed, the same gaseous substance that was found in SCP 5769-1 and 5769-2 was found in what looked to be a bedroom containing a single queen sized bed and various common miscellaneous bedroom items. The 7th child was never found, presumably returning as SCP 5769-1. Several samples were taken and the substance was removed from the room entirely.

Addendum:
After about a week an unrelated dog had gone missing, and the same 6 children were found in the same closet as before. The same results occurred, with the children lashing out and fainting on sight, having no memory as to how they got into the situation after being questioned.

The gaseous substance was found in slightly less amounts as before.

The children were taken into custody and given class B amnestics to prevent further incident.

Both SCP 5769-2 and SCP 5769-1 were found at the school seemingly aimlessly wandering the hallways. Using a [REDACTED] found in the closet by personnel, the foundation was able to [REDACTED] and capture and control 5769-1 and 5769-2.

Class B amnestics were given to all non-foundation staff in the vicinity.
