Dr. █████: Do you know why you're hear, Mr. █████?
SCP-5xx2: Yes, it's because of what happened in the office.
Dr. █████: Correct.
SCP-5xx2: Because of my actions, some of my friends and colleges are dead. Oh god, am I going to be put to death?
Dr. █████: If you cooperate, No. Now the way in which you did it was very unnatural. Care to elaborate on how you did it?
SCP-5xx2: Sorry, doc. I can't tell you because I don't know myself. I just got this curse after visiting family in Haiti.
Dr. █████: Explain.
SCP-5xx2: See, my extended family on my mother's side is big into Voodoo and all that shit. While my mother was OK with it, my father wasn't since he was a proud and devote Irish Catholic. That coupled with the fact that he didn't like some of them to begin with, we never saw them unless they visiting our place.
Dr. █████: Interesting. Did you have any dislikes about them?
SCP-5xx2: Some. I didn't like that they always berated me for looking at them "the wrong way", though I got use to it overtime. They call me lazy and ungrateful most of the time as well, though I don't know why exactly, still don't actually. Eventually, when I got older, most of them stopped berating me that except for my great-aunt.
Dr. █████: Great-aunt?
SCP-5xx2: Yes. She was a mean and nit picky as they came. Even they couldn't stand her sometimes, yet they still took care of her since well she's family. She looked down upon me the most since I was half-Irish. Even when I was taking the upmost care of her when she was visiting, she still called me a "lazy kafe" After all the scrutiny towards me, along with other problems she was causing us, my family to stop bringing her to our place all together. Eventually, me and the rest of my extended family made amends and now we get along greatly. Except for my great-aunt, who I never saw until I visited her a few mouths ago.
Dr. █████: And what was the reason behind visited her?
SCP-5xx2: Well, here's where we get into how I got myself cursed. The reason being that she was dying of cancer. Strangely, she requested me to visit her as part of her dying wishes. At first, I was hesitant given my history with her along with her. But after convincing from my mother, I went. I was told how she still talked about me in a negative light by my cousins and how they should not be like me. That was until a mouth after she was diagnosed with cancer, when she was telling them to send me to her. Like me, they were puzzled as to why she had changed her tune so suddenly. It wasn't like she was delusional at that point. She still had a clear mind at that point and was still lucid with the world around her. When I arrived to see her, she seemed much nicer then what I remembered and acted very hospitable towards me. I though that maybe she was making amends before she died, but boy was I wrong. The night before she died, she invited me into her room for a "talk". When I got there, there were two cups of tea on the desk next to her. I was kind of thirsty at the time and not wanting to offend her for what she did, I took it. She then told me that she felt bad that she talked down upon me and told me that she wanted to make me "better" at helping others.
Dr. █████: Better?
SCP-5xx2: Yes. See, she gave me a "special" tea to help me in this regard. She said that I would give me the ability to help others in ways that I could not image. Almost after she told me this, I started to get light headed and eventually I fall asleep next to her bed. The last thing I recall was her giving me a bid smile as I slipped away. Whether it was malicious or genuine, I couldn't say. After my cousins woke me up, she was gone. After telling my story to them, they looked worried. See, she was known as a well-known Voodoo priestess around those parts and gave people potions to help with a verity of things from health to love. After examining her room and some of the tea I didn't drink, their suppositions were confirmed. She had given me a powerful potion and mixed it with some tea. At first, I didn't believed them. However, after what happened with my uncle, I realized that they were telling the truth.
Dr. █████: What exactly happened with your uncle?
SCP-5xx2: After my great-aunt died, my uncle returned from business in Port-au-Prince. After the funeral and a few day before I returned home, he was working on a wall by the beach. I asked if he needed help and sarcastically said yes. He told me that he needed 50 large stones and almost immediately, I started to look for stones. I was on auto-pilot, like I was in a trace of sorts. When I fully came to, there was a large pile of stones next to the wall. Both me and my uncle were stunned that I was not only able to get these stones with no trouble, but also so quickly. After asking my cousins, he learned the truth and was also shocked that my great-aunt gave me a potion. Before I left, he told me to be careful to not alert anyone about my new "gift" unless I wanted trouble. Luckily for me, there wasn't a point were this happened until the incident at the office.
Dr. █████: And what caused the incident to occur?
SCP-5xx2: Nothing much. One of the guys was in a bind with the copy machine. When I came in to ask if I could help, he told me to basically fuck off. After which, I when into a similar trance but when I came to, there were bodies all around me. There, I realized that what my great-aunt gave to me was no so much as gift, but a curse as well. And then you guys came in to take me away.
Dr. █████: I think that will be it for now. Anything else you want to state?
SCP-5xx2: Yes, do you need help with anything else?
Dr. █████: No thanks, you helped enough today.
