The farmhouse in which SCP-5987 has been discovered
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5987 is to be kept in a standard 1.5x1.5x1.5m sound-proof vault at site-██. All interactions with SCP-5987 are to be stored in the servers dedicated to SCP-5987. All testing is permitted with authorization of the O5-Councils. Testing involving buying or selling with SCP-5987 is absolutely prohibited even to the O5-Councils.
Description: SCP-5987 is malfunctioning box television that displays advertising continuously. It doesn't require electric power and can not be turned off. SCP-5987 can be damaged physically and will stop working if damaged gravely enough just like a standard box television.
SCP-5987 displays SCP advertising that anyone watching can buy by calling the displayed phone number. The phone numbers remain valid for a period of 24 hours, after which, will become invalid. The transactions is done anomalously and directly to the bank account of the individual that calls the phone number. Anyone who is not able to afford an SCP will be hung-up. The voice on the other end is a sentient adult female voice and refer herself as Devie. Testing has shown that the voice has little interest to talk about else than the transaction and displays a human behaviour up to the point it is asked question about herself, the company she works with and how legitimate the advertising is.
Since SCP's aren't affected in any way by SCP-5987, and this whatever the price to which the SCP is bought, it has been concluded that the sole anomalous property of SCP-5987 is that it doesn't require electricity.
ADDEMDUM 5987-A: Four unexpected transactions appeared on site-██'s servers on ██/██/2020. The transactions were made by a user of the name "A lying traitor.". Unlike other transactions that are similar to bills, the content of those transactions were standard journal entries and exploration logs. The content of those files are currently under review by a 3rd party.
