Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-5996 must be contained in a round room made of 3 meters of Graphene. The room must be 9 meters in all directions. Its corners must have a layer of Obsidian Wiring to make sure it doesn't go too close to the walls. no windows, one camera. No lights are allowed in SCP-5996s containment other than any natural light coming from the door. SCP-5996 must be fed once a week only and can not come in contact with any SCPs that have an electric current strong enough to charge any electronics. It is not allowed near the facility personal. Its' containment will be located near Midwestern Texas in Site 34.
Description:
SCP-5996 is a humanoid with a pale white face that has only a mouth. Its height is 1.6 meters and it weighs 81.1 kilograms. It has elongated arms (1.65 meters) that are green and black, Its fingers are red but seem to change between light red and dark red, the reason for this is unknown. It will infect anyone without an O+ blood type and will make the infected appear to glitch. Those infected by this are known as SCP-5996-A. Glitching involves; multiple voices from one subject, the literal crashing of the nervous system, personality swaps or multiple personalities after infection, and making everything the infected touches that are electrical get a computer virus. SCP-5996-A will become very hostile upon being infected and will try to kill anyone that is not infected. SCP-5996 seems to be the only one that can infect people. SCP-5996 does not drink water but seems to fear it. It eats raw meat and raw potatoes only. When feeding 5996, Class-D is instructed to keep it busy by any means necessary. Until further notice, SCP-5996 is not allowed to interact with any SCPs other than SCP-999. Foundation Personnel are advised to not have its camera on unless doing a test, or it might glitch and be used for SCP-5996's escape. Permission to use SCP-5996s camera must be given by Seven (7) 04 or higher. SCP-5996 Cannot speak any language, nor can he understand any. SCP-5996 cannot affect anything that already has anomalous effects and cannot be affected by them.
Addendum 1:
SCP-5996 used to be a D Class named Robert Edward Thomas or D-38808. His birthday is on 5/9/96. His blood type is AB+ He was on death row for murdering 3 families in Houston, Texas on 1/9/05. D-38808 was in Site 34 for 3 weeks before turning anomalous. At first, D-38808 lost his hair and turned pale. Then his arms became elongated and after 6 days of being classified as Class E, turned into what he is now.

Research Personal have reported SCP-5996s containment door to start making noises. Scratches on the opposite side are the door that has also appeared. We sent D-9972 to stay the night in SCP-5996s containment to record anything he sees on paper. At 06:00 the door started making the noises again and more scratches appeared. D-99772 recorded SCP-5996 as asleep during this period. The investigation is ongoing.

Research Personal have reported beeping coming from SCP-5996s Containment. The patterns of the beeping were theorized to be Morse Code but quickly rejected. One staff member who heard the beeping said:
"it sounds like a rhythm from a 90's pop band."

SCP-5996 breached containment for the first time. SCP-5996 had used the camera to appear in the main security office. Three (3) casualties, Two (2) injured. SCP-5996 seemed to have used the live video feed that the camera was making to travel through the wires and out of the screen. It took 2 Security Units to contain SCP-5996. Usage of SCP-5996s camera has now been limited to testing and 04 or higher must permit to do so.
